Nehemiah 3
1 Then arose Eliashib the hie Priest with his brethren the Priestes, and they buylt the sheepegate: they repayred it, and set vp the doores thereof: euen vnto the tower of Meah repayred they it, and vnto the tower of Hananeel.
Maka bersiaplah imam besar Elyasib dan para imam, saudara-saudaranya, lalu membangun kembali pintu gerbang Domba. Mereka mentahbiskannya dan memasang pintu-pintunya. Mereka mentahbiskannya sampai menara Mea, menara Hananeel.
2 And next vnto him buylded the men of Iericho, and beside him Zaccur the sonne of Imri.
Berdekatan dengan mereka orang-orang Yerikho membangun, dan berdekatan dengan orang-orang itu Zakur bin Imri.
3 But the fish port did the sonnes of Senaah buylde, which also layde the beames thereof, and set on the doores thereof, the lockes thereof, and the barres thereof.
Pintu gerbang Ikan dibangun oleh bani Senaa. Mereka memasang balok-balok lalu memasang pintu-pintunya dengan pengancing-pengancing dan palang-palangnya.
4 And next vnto them fortified Merimoth, the sonne of Vrijah, the sonne of Hakkoz: and next vnto them fortified Meshullam, the sonne of Berechiah, the sonne of Meshezabeel: and next vnto them fortified Zadok, the sonne of Baana:
Berdekatan dengan mereka Meremot bin Uria bin Hakos mengadakan perbaikan, dan berdekatan dengan dia Mesulam bin Berekhya bin Mesezabeel. Berdekatan dengan dia Zadok bin Baana mengadakan perbaikan,
5 And next vnto them fortified the Tekoites: but the great men of them put not their neckes to the worke of their lordes.
dan berdekatan dengan dia orang-orang Tekoa. Hanya pemuka-pemuka mereka tidak mau memberi bahunya untuk pekerjaan tuan mereka.
6 And the gate of the olde fishpoole fortified Iehoiada the sonne of Paseah, and Meshullam the sonne of Besodaiah: they laid the beames thereof, and set on the doores thereof, and the lockes thereof, and the barres thereof.
Pintu gerbang Lama diperbaiki oleh Yoyada bin Paseah dan Mesulam bin Besoja. Mereka memasang balok-balok lalu memasang pintu-pintunya dengan pengancing-pengancing dan palang-palangnya.
7 Next vnto them also fortified Melatiah the Gibeonite, and Iadon the Meronothite, men of Gibeon, and of Mizpah, vnto the throne of the Duke, which was beyond the Riuer.
Berdekatan dengan mereka Melaca, orang Gibeon, dan Yadon, orang Meronot, mengadakan perbaikan beserta orang-orang Gibeon dan Mizpa, yang berada di wilayah kekuasaan bupati daerah sebelah barat sungai Efrat.
8 Next vnto him fortified Vzziel the sonne of Harhohiah of the golde smithes: next vnto him also fortified Hananiah, the sonne of Harakkahim, and they repayred Ierusalem vnto the broad wall.
Berdekatan dengan mereka Uziel bin Harhaya, salah seorang tukang emas, mengadakan perbaikan, dan berdekatan dengan dia Hananya, seorang juru campur rempah-rempah. Mereka memperkokoh Yerusalem sampai tembok Lebar.
9 Also next vnto them fortified Rephaiah, the sonne of Hur, the ruler of the halfe part of Ierusalem.
Berdekatan dengan mereka Refaya bin Hur, penguasa setengah wilayah Yerusalem yang satu mengadakan perbaikan.
10 And next vnto him fortified Iedaiah the sonne of Harumaph, euen ouer against his house: and next vnto him fortified Hattush, the sonne of Hashabniah.
Berdekatan dengan dia Yedaya bin Harumaf mengadakan perbaikan, tepat di depan rumahnya, dan berdekatan dengan dia Hatus bin Hasabneya.
11 Malchiiah the sonne of Harim, and Hashub the sonne of Pahath Moab fortified the seconde porcion, and the tower of the fornaces.
Malkia bin Harim dan Hasub bin Pahat-Moab memperbaiki bagian yang lain dan menara Perapian.
12 Next vnto him also fortified Shallum, the sonne of Halloesh, the ruler of the halfe part of Ierusalem, he, and his daughters.
Berdekatan dengan mereka Salum bin Halohesh, penguasa setengah wilayah Yerusalem yang lain mengadakan perbaikan bersama-sama anak-anak perempuannya.
13 The valley gate fortified Hanum, and the inhabitants of Zanuah: they buylt it, and set on the doores thereof, the lockes thereof, and the barres thereof, euen a thousand cubites on the wall vnto the dung porte.
Pintu gerbang Lebak diperbaiki oleh Hanun dan penduduk Zanoah. Mereka membangunnya kembali dan memasang pintu-pintunya dengan pengancing-pengancing dan palang-palangnya. Pula tembok diperbaiki sepanjang seribu hasta sampai pada pintu gerbang Sampah.
14 But the dung port fortified Malchiah, the sonne of Rechab, the ruler of the fourth part of Beth-haccarem: he built it, and set on the doores thereof, the lockes thereof, and the barres thereof.
Pintu gerbang Sampah diperbaiki oleh Malkia bin Rekhab, penguasa wilayah Bet-Kerem. Ia membangunnya kembali dan memasang pintu-pintunya dengan pengancing-pengancing dan palang-palangnya.
15 But the gate of the fountaine fortified Shallun, the sonne of Col-hozeh, the ruler of the fourth part of Mizpah: he builded it, and couered it, and set on the doores thereof, the lockes thereof, and the barres thereof, and the wall vnto the fishpoole of Shelah by the Kings garden, and vnto the steppes that goe downe from the citie of Dauid.
Pintu gerbang Mata Air diperbaiki oleh Salum bin Kolhoze, penguasa wilayah Mizpa. Pintu gerbang itu dibangunnya kembali, diberinya atap dan dipasangnya pintu-pintunya dengan pengancing-pengancing dan palang-palangnya. Juga diperbaikinya tembok kolam penampung air saluran, dekat taman raja sampai pada tangga-tangga yang menurun dari kota Daud.
16 After him fortified Nehemiah the sonne of Azbuk, the ruler of ye halfe part of Beth-zur, vntill the otherside ouer against the sepulchres of Dauid, and to the fishpoole that was repaired, and vnto the house of the mightie.
Di sampingnya Nehemia bin Azbuk, penguasa setengah wilayah Bet-Zur, mengadakan perbaikan sampai di depan pekuburan Daud dan sampai pada kolam buatan dan rumah para pahlawan.
17 After him fortified the Leuites, Rehum the sonne of Bani, and next vnto him fortified Hashabiah the ruler of the halfe part of Keilah in his quarter.
Di sampingnya orang-orang Lewi mengadakan perbaikan, yakni Rehum bin Bani, dan berdekatan dengan dia Hasabya, penguasa setengah wilayah Kehila yang satu, untuk wilayahnya.
18 After him fortified their brethren: Bauai, the sonne of Henadad the ruler of the halfe part of Keilah:
Di sampingnya saudara-saudara mereka, yakni Binui bin Henadad, penguasa setengah wilayah Kehila yang lain, mengadakan perbaikan.
19 And next vnto him fortified Ezer, the sonne of Ieshua the ruler of Mizpah, the other portion ouer against the going vp to the corner of the armour.
Berdekatan dengan dia Ezer bin Yesua, penguasa Mizpa, memperbaiki bagian yang berikut, di depan pendakian ke gudang senjata, dekat Sudut.
20 After him was earnest Baruch the sonne of Zacchai, and fortified another portion from the corner vnto the doore of the house of Eliashib the hie Priest.
Di sampingnya Barukh bin Zabai memperbaiki bagian yang berikut, dari Sudut sampai pada pintu masuk rumah imam besar Elyasib.
21 After him fortified Merimoth, the sonne of Vriiah, the sonne of Hakkoz, another portion from the doore of the house of Eliashib, euen as long as the house of Eliashib extended.
Di sampingnya Meremot bin Uria bin Hakos memperbaiki bagian yang berikut, dari pintu masuk rumah Elyasib sampai pada ujung rumah Elyasib.
22 After him also fortified the Priests, the men of the playne.
Di sampingnya para imam, orang-orang dari Lembah Yordan, mengadakan perbaikan.
23 After them fortified Beniamin, and Hasshub ouer against their house: after him fortified Azariah, the sonne of Maaseiah, the sonne of Ananiah, by his house.
Di samping mereka Benyamin dan Hasub mengadakan perbaikan di depan rumah mereka. Di samping mereka Azarya bin Maaseya bin Ananya mengadakan perbaikan di samping rumahnya.
24 After him fortified Binnui, the sonne of Henadad another portion, from the house of Azariah vnto the turning and vnto the corner.
Di sampingnya Binui bin Henadad memperbaiki bagian yang berikut, dari rumah Azarya sampai Sudut dan sampai Penjuru.
25 Palal, the sonne of Vzai, from ouer against the corner, and the high tower, that lieth out from the Kings house, which is beside the court of the prison. After him, Pedaiah, the sonne of Parosh.
Palal bin Uzai mengadakan perbaikan di depan Sudut dan di depan menara yang tinggi yang menonjol dari istana raja, dekat pelataran penjagaan. Di sampingnya Pedaya bin Paros mengadakan perbaikan
26 And the Nethinims they dwelt in ye fortresse vnto the place ouer against the water gate, Eastwarde, and to the tower that lyeth out.
sampai di depan pintu gerbang Air, di sebelah timur, dan di depan menara yang menonjol. Adapun para budak di bait Allah tinggal di Ofel.
27 After him fortified the Tekoites another portion ouer against the great tower, that lyeth out, euen vnto the wall of the fortresse.
Di samping Pedaya orang-orang Tekoa memperbaiki bagian yang berikut, dari depan menara besar yang menonjol itu sampai tembok Ofel.
28 From aboue the horsegate forth fortified the Priests, euery one ouer against his house.
Mulai dari pintu gerbang Kuda para imam mengadakan perbaikan, masing-masing di depan rumahnya.
29 After them fortified Zadok the sonne of Immer ouer against his house: and after him fortified Shemaiah, the sonne of Shechadiah the keeper of the East gate.
Di samping mereka Zadok bin Imer mengadakan perbaikan di depan rumahnya. Di sampingnya Semaya bin Sekhanya, penjaga pintu gerbang Timur.
30 After him fortified Hananiah, the sonne of Shelemiah, and Hanun, the sonne of Zalaph, the sixt, another portion after him fortified Meshullam, the sonne of Berechiah, ouer against his chamber.
Di sampingnya Hananya bin Selemya dan Hanun, anak Zalaf yang keenam, memperbaiki bagian yang berikut. Di samping mereka Mesulam bin Berekhya mengadakan perbaikan di depan biliknya.
31 After him fortified Malchiah the goldesmiths sonne, vntil the house of the Nethinims, and of ye marchants ouer against the gate Miphkad, and to the chamber in the corner.
Di sampingnya Malkia, seorang tukang emas, mengadakan perbaikan sampai pada rumah para budak di bait Allah dan para pedagang, di depan pintu gerbang Pendaftaran dan sampai pada kamar atas di penjuru.
32 And betweene the chamber of the corner vnto the sheepegate fortified the goldesmithes and the marchantes.
Lalu antara kamar atas di penjuru dan pintu gerbang Domba para tukang emas dan para pedagang mengadakan perbaikan.
