Nehemiah 12
1 These also are the Priestes and the Leuites that went vp with Zerubbabel, the sonne of Shealtiel, and Ieshua: to wit, Seraiah, Ieremiah, Ezra,
Y ESTOS son los sacerdotes y Levitas que subieron con Zorobabel hijo de Sealthiel, y con Jesuá: Seraías, Jeremías, Esdras,
2 Amariah, Malluch, Hattush,
Amarías, Malluch, Hartus,
3 Shecaniah, Rehum, Merimoth,
Sechânías, Rehum, Meremoth,
4 Iddo, Ginnetho, Abiiah,
Iddo, Ginetho, Abías,
5 Miamin, Maadiah, Bilgah,
Miamin, Maadías, Bilga,
6 Shemaiah, and Ioiarib, Iedaiah,
Semaías, y Joiarib, Jedaías,
7 Sallu, Amok, Hilkiiah, Iedaiah: these were the chiefe of the Priests, and of their brethren in the dayes of Ieshua.
Sallum, Amoc, Hilcías, Jedaías. Estos eran los príncipes de los sacerdotes y sus hermanos en los días de Jesuá.
8 And the Leuites, Ieshua, Binnui, Kadmiel, Sherebiah, Iudah, Mattaniah were ouer the thankesgiuings, he, and his brethren.
Y los Levitas: Jesuá, Binnui, Cadmiel, Serebías, Judá, [y] Mathanías, que con sus hermanos [oficiaba] en los himnos.
9 And Bakbukiah and Vnni, and their brethren were about them in the watches.
Y Bacbucías y Unni, sus hermanos, cada cual en su ministerio.
10 And Ieshua begate Ioiakim: Ioiakim also begate Eliashib, and Eliashib begate Ioiada.
Y Jesuá engendró á Joiacim, y Joiacim engendró á Eliasib, y Eliasib engendró á Joiada,
11 And Ioiada begate Ionathan, and Ionathan begate Iaddua,
Y Joiada engendró á Jonathán, y Jonathán engendró á Jaddua.
12 And in the daies of Ioiakim were these, the chiefe fathers of the Priests: vnder Seraiah was Meraiah, vnder Ieremiah, Hananiah,
Y en los días de Joiacim los sacerdotes cabezas de familias fueron: de Seraías, Meraías; de Jeremías, Hananías;
13 Vnder Ezra, Meshullam, vnder Amariah, Iehohanan,
De Esdras, Mesullam; de Amarías, Johanán;
14 Vnder Melicu, Ionathan, vnder Shebaniah, Ioseph,
De Melichâ, Jonathán; de Sebanías, Joseph;
15 Vnder Harim, Adna, vnder Maraioth, Helkai,
De Harim, Adna; de Meraioth, Helcai;
16 Vnder Iddo, Zechariah, vnder Ginnithon, Meshullam,
De Iddo, Zacarías; de Ginnethón, Mesullam;
17 Vnder Abiiah, Zichri, vnder Miniamin, and vnder Moadiah, Piltai,
De Abías, Zichri; de Miniamín, de Moadías, Piltai;
18 Vnder Bilgah, Shammua, vnder Shemaiah, Iehonathan,
De Bilga, Sammua; de Semaías, Jonathán;
19 Vnder Ioiarib, Mattenai, vnder Iedaiah, Vzzi,
De Joiarib, Mathenai; de Jedaías, Uzzi;
20 Vnder Sallai, Kallai, vnder Amok, Eber,
De Sallai, Callai; de Amoc, Eber;
21 Vnder Hilkiah, Hashabiah, vnder Iedaiah, Nethaneel.
De Hilcías, Hasabías; de Jedaías, Nathanael.
22 In the dayes of Eliashib, Ioiada, and Iohanan and Iaddua were the chiefe fathers of the Leuites written, and the Priests in the reigne of Darius the Persian.
Los Levitas en días de Eliasib, de Joiada, y de Johanán y Jaddua, fueron escritos por cabezas de familias; también los sacerdotes, hasta el reinado de Darío el Persa.
23 The sonnes of Leui, the chiefe fathers were written in the booke of the Chronicles euen vnto the dayes of Iohanan the sonne of Eliashib.
Los hijos de Leví, cabezas de familias, fueron escritos en el libro de las crónicas hasta los días de Johanán, hijo de Eliasib.
24 And the chiefe of the Leuites were Hashabiah, Sherebiah, and Ieshua the sonne of Kadmiel, and their brethren about them to giue prayse and thankes, according to the ordinance of Dauid the man of God, ward ouer against warde.
Los cabezas de los Levitas: Hasabías, Serebías, y Jesuá hijo de Cadmiel, y sus hermanos delante de ellos, para alabar y para rendir gracias, conforme al estatuto de David varón de Dios, guardando su turno.
25 Mattaniah and Bakbukiah, Obadiah, Meshullam, Talmon and Akkub were porters keeping the warde at the thresholds of the gates.
Mathanías, y Bacbucías, Obadías, Mesullam, Talmón, Accub, guardas, eran porteros para la guardia á las entradas de las puertas.
26 These were in the dayes of Ioiakim, the sonne of Ieshua, the sonne of Iozadak, and in the dayes of Nehemiah the captaine, and of Ezra the Priest and scribe.
Estos fueron en los días de Joiacim, hijo de Jesuá, hijo de Josadac, y en los días del gobernador Nehemías, y del sacerdote Esdras, escriba.
27 And in the dedication of the wall at Ierusalem they sought the Leuites out of all their places to bring them to Ierusalem to keepe the dedication and gladnes, both with thankesgiuings and with songs, cymbales, violes and with harpes.
Y á la dedicación del muro de Jerusalem buscaron á los Levitas de todos sus lugares, para traerlos á Jerusalem, para hacer la dedicación y la fiesta con alabanzas y con cánticos, con címbalos, salterios y cítaras.
28 Then the singers gathered themselues together both from the plaine countrey about Ierusalem, and from the villages of Netophathi,
Y fueron reunidos los hijos de los cantores, así de la campiña alrededor de Jerusalem como de las aldeas de Netophati;
29 And from the house of Gilgal, and out of the countreis of Geba, and Azmaueth: for the singers had built them villages round about Ierusalem.
Y de la casa de Gilgal, y de los campos de Geba, y de Azmaveth; porque los cantores se habían edificado aldeas alrededor de Jerusalem.
30 And the Priests and Leuites were purified, and clensed the people, and the gates, and the wall.
Y se purificaron los sacerdotes y los Levitas; y purificaron al pueblo, y las puertas, y el muro.
31 And I brought vp the princes of Iudah vpon the wall, and appointed two great companies to giue thankes, and the one went on the right hand of the wall toward the dung gate.
Hice luego subir á los príncipes de Judá sobre el muro, y puse dos coros grandes que fueron en procesión: [el uno] á la mano derecha sobre el muro hacia la puerta del Muladar.
32 And after them went Hoshaiah, and halfe of the princes of Iudah,
E iba tras de ellos Osaías, y la mitad de los príncipes de Judá,
33 And Azariah, Ezra and Meshullam,
Y Azarías, Esdras y Mesullam,
34 Iudah, Beniamin, and Shemaiah, and Ieremiah,
Judá y Benjamín, y Semaías, y Jeremías;
35 And of the Priests sonnes with trumpets, Zechariah the sonne of Ionathan, the sonne of Shemaiah, the sonne of Mattaniah, the sonne of Michaiah, the sonne of Zaccur, ye sonne of Asaph.
Y de los hijos de los sacerdotes [iban] con trompetas, Zacarías hijo de Jonathán, hijo de Semaías, hijo de Mathanías, hijo de Michâías, hijo de Zachûr, hijo de Asaph;
36 And his brethren, Shemaiah, and Azareel, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Nethaneel, and Iudah, Hanani, with the musicall instruments of Dauid the man of God: and Ezra the scribe went before them.
Y sus hermanos Semaías, y Azarael, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Nathanael, Judá y Hanani, con los instrumentos músicos de David varón de Dios; y Esdras escriba, delante de ellos.
37 And to the gate of the fountaine, euen ouer against them went they vp by the staires of the citie of Dauid, at the going vp of the wall beyond the house of Dauid, euen vnto the water gate Eastward.
Y á la puerta de la Fuente, en derecho delante de ellos, subieron por las gradas de la ciudad de David, por la subida del muro, desde la casa de David hasta la puerta de las Aguas al oriente.
38 And the seconde companie of them that gaue thankes, went on the other side, and I after them, and the halfe of the people was vpon the wall, and vpon the towre of the furnaces euen vnto the broad wall.
Y el segundo coro iba del lado opuesto, y yo en pos de él, con la mitad del pueblo sobre el muro, desde la torre de los Hornos hasta el muro ancho;
39 And vpon the gate of Ephraim, and vpon the olde gate, and vpon the fishgate, and the towre of Hananeel, and the towre of Meah, euen vnto the sheepegate: and they stood in the gate of the warde.
Y desde la puerta de Ephraim hasta la puerta vieja, y á la puerta del Pescado, y la torre de Hananeel, y la torre de Hamath, hasta la puerta de las Ovejas: y pararon en la puerta de la Cárcel.
40 So stood the two companies (of them that gaue thankes) in the house of God, and I and the halfe of the rulers with me.
Pararon luego los dos coros en la casa de Dios; y yo, y la mitad de los magistrados conmigo;
41 The Priests also, Eliakim, Maaseiah, Miniamin, Michaiah, Elioenai, Zechariah, Hananiah, with trumpets,
Y los sacerdotes, Eliacim, Maaseías, Miniamin, Michâías, Elioenai, Zacarías, y Hananías, con trompetas;
42 And Maaseiah, and Shemaiah, and Eleazar, and Vzzi, and Iehohanan, and Malchiiah, and Elam, and Ezer: and the singers sang loude, hauing Izrahiah which was the ouerseer.
Y Maaseías, y Semeías, y Eleazar, y Uzzi, y Johanán, y Malchías, y Elam, y Ezer. Y los cantores cantaban alto, é Israhía [era] el prefecto.
43 And the same day they offered great sacrifices and reioyced: for God had giuen them great ioy, so that both the women, and the children were ioyfull: and the ioy of Ierusalem was heard farre off.
Y sacrificaron aquel día grandes víctimas, é hicieron alegrías; porque Dios los había recreado con grande contentamiento: alegráronse también las mujeres y muchachos; y el alborozo de Jerusalem fué oído de lejos.
44 Also at the same time were men appointed ouer the chambers of the store for the offerings (for the first fruites, and for the tithes) to gather into them out of the fieldes of the cities, the portions of the Law for the Priests and the Leuites: for Iudah reioyced for the Priests and for the Leuites, that serued.
Y en aquel día fueron puestos varones sobre las cámaras de los tesoros, de las ofrendas, de las primicias, y de los diezmos, para juntar en ellas, de los campos de las ciudades, las porciones legales para los sacerdotes y Levitas: porque era grande el gozo de Judá con respecto á los sacerdotes y Levitas que asistían.
45 And both the singers and the Leuites kept the ward of their God, and the warde of the purification according to the commandement of Dauid, and Salomon his sonne.
Y habían guardado la observancia de su Dios, y la observancia de la expiación, como también los cantores y los porteros, conforme al estatuto de David y de Salomón su hijo.
46 For in the dayes of Dauid and Asaph, of olde were chiefe singers, and songs of praise and thankesgiuing vnto God.
Porque desde el tiempo de David y de Asaph, ya de antiguo, había príncipes de cantores, y cántico y alabanza, y acción de gracias á Dios.
47 And in the dayes of Zerubbabel, and in the dayes of Nehemiah did al Israel giue portions vnto the singers and porters, euerie day his portion, and they gaue the holy things vnto the Leuites, and the Leuites gaue the holy things vnto the sonnes of Aaron.
Y todo Israel en días de Zorobabel, y en días de Nehemías, daba raciones á los cantores y á los porteros, cada cosa en su día: consagraban asimismo [sus porciones] á los Levitas, y los Levitas consagraban [parte] á los hijos de Aarón.
