Nehemiah 12
1 These also are the Priestes and the Leuites that went vp with Zerubbabel, the sonne of Shealtiel, and Ieshua: to wit, Seraiah, Ieremiah, Ezra,
Bano be bakabona n’Abaleevi abaakomawo ne Zerubbaberi mutabani wa Seyalutyeri ne Yesuwa: Seraya, ne Yeremiya, ne Ezera,
2 Amariah, Malluch, Hattush,
ne Amaliya, ne Malluki, ne Kattusi,
3 Shecaniah, Rehum, Merimoth,
ne Sekaniya, ne Lekumu, ne Meremoosi,
4 Iddo, Ginnetho, Abiiah,
ne Iddo, ne Ginnesoyi, ne Abiya,
5 Miamin, Maadiah, Bilgah,
ne Miyamini, ne Maadiya, ne Biruga,
6 Shemaiah, and Ioiarib, Iedaiah,
ne Semaaya, ne Yoyalibu, ne Yedaya,
7 Sallu, Amok, Hilkiiah, Iedaiah: these were the chiefe of the Priests, and of their brethren in the dayes of Ieshua.
ne Sallu, ne Amoki, ne Kirukiya ne Yedaya. Abo be baali abakulembeze ba bakabona ne baganda baabwe mu biro bya Yesuwa.
8 And the Leuites, Ieshua, Binnui, Kadmiel, Sherebiah, Iudah, Mattaniah were ouer the thankesgiuings, he, and his brethren.
Abaleevi baali: Yesuwa, ne Binnuyi, ne Kadumyeri, ne Serebiya, ne Yuda ne Mattaniya awamu ne baganda be, abaakulemberanga ennyimba ez’okwebaza mu kusinza.
9 And Bakbukiah and Vnni, and their brethren were about them in the watches.
Bakubukiya ne Unni ne baganda baabwe bo, baayimiriranga nga baboolekedde mu biseera eby’okusinza.
10 And Ieshua begate Ioiakim: Ioiakim also begate Eliashib, and Eliashib begate Ioiada.
Yesuwa yali kitaawe wa Yoyakimu, ate Yoyakimu nga ye kitaawe wa Eriyasibu, ne Eriyasibu nga ye kitaawe wa Yoyaada,
11 And Ioiada begate Ionathan, and Ionathan begate Iaddua,
Yoyaada nga ye kitaawe wa Yonasaani, ate Yonasaani nga ye kitaawe wa Yadduwa.
12 And in the daies of Ioiakim were these, the chiefe fathers of the Priests: vnder Seraiah was Meraiah, vnder Ieremiah, Hananiah,
Mu biro bya Yoyakimu, bano be baali abakulu b’ennyumba za bakabona: eya Seraya, yali Meraya; eya Yeremiya, yali Kananiya;
13 Vnder Ezra, Meshullam, vnder Amariah, Iehohanan,
eya Ezera, yali Mesullamu, eya Amaliya, yali Yekokanani;
14 Vnder Melicu, Ionathan, vnder Shebaniah, Ioseph,
eya Malluki, yali Yonasaani; eya Sebaniya, yali Yusufu;
15 Vnder Harim, Adna, vnder Maraioth, Helkai,
eya Kalimu, yali Aduna; eya Merayoosi, yali Kerukayi;
16 Vnder Iddo, Zechariah, vnder Ginnithon, Meshullam,
eya Iddo, yali Zekkaliya; eya Ginnesoni, yali Mesullamu;
17 Vnder Abiiah, Zichri, vnder Miniamin, and vnder Moadiah, Piltai,
eya Abiya, yali Zikuli; eya Miniyamini ne Mowadiya, yali Pirutayi;
18 Vnder Bilgah, Shammua, vnder Shemaiah, Iehonathan,
eya Biruga, yali Sammuwa; eya Semaaya, yali Yekonasaani;
19 Vnder Ioiarib, Mattenai, vnder Iedaiah, Vzzi,
eya Yoyalibu, yali Mattenayi; eya Yedaya, yali Uzzi;
20 Vnder Sallai, Kallai, vnder Amok, Eber,
eya Sallayi, yali Kallayi; eya Amoki, yali Eberi;
21 Vnder Hilkiah, Hashabiah, vnder Iedaiah, Nethaneel.
eya Kirukiya, yali Kasabiya; n’eya Yedaya, yali Nesaneeri.
22 In the dayes of Eliashib, Ioiada, and Iohanan and Iaddua were the chiefe fathers of the Leuites written, and the Priests in the reigne of Darius the Persian.
Abakulu b’ennyumba z’Abaleevi abaakola mu biro bya Eriyasibu, ne Yoyada, ne Yokanaani ne Yadduwa, awamu ne bakabona, baawandiikibwa mu mirembe gya Daliyo Omuperusi.
23 The sonnes of Leui, the chiefe fathers were written in the booke of the Chronicles euen vnto the dayes of Iohanan the sonne of Eliashib.
Abakulu b’enju abaava mu bazzukulu ba Leevi okutuuka ku mulembe gwa Yokanaani mutabani wa Eriyasibu, ne bawandiikibwa mu bitabo eby’ebyafaayo.
24 And the chiefe of the Leuites were Hashabiah, Sherebiah, and Ieshua the sonne of Kadmiel, and their brethren about them to giue prayse and thankes, according to the ordinance of Dauid the man of God, ward ouer against warde.
Abakulembeze b’Abaleevi baali: Kasabiya, ne Serebiya, ne Yesuwa mutabani wa Kadumyeri, n’abaabayambangako nga baboolekedde, nga batendereza era nga beebaza, ng’ekibinja ekimu kiddamu ekirala kye biyimba, nga Dawudi omusajja wa Katonda bwe yalagira.
25 Mattaniah and Bakbukiah, Obadiah, Meshullam, Talmon and Akkub were porters keeping the warde at the thresholds of the gates.
Mattaniya, ne Bakubukiya, ne Obadiya, ne Mesullamu, ne Talumoni, ne Akkubu be baakuumanga amawanika g’oku miryango.
26 These were in the dayes of Ioiakim, the sonne of Ieshua, the sonne of Iozadak, and in the dayes of Nehemiah the captaine, and of Ezra the Priest and scribe.
Baaweerereza mu biro bya Yoyakimu mutabani wa Yesuwa, mutabani wa Yozadaki, ne mu biro bya Nekkemiya owessaza, ne Ezera kabona era omuwandiisi.
27 And in the dedication of the wall at Ierusalem they sought the Leuites out of all their places to bring them to Ierusalem to keepe the dedication and gladnes, both with thankesgiuings and with songs, cymbales, violes and with harpes.

28 Then the singers gathered themselues together both from the plaine countrey about Ierusalem, and from the villages of Netophathi,
Abayimbi nabo ne bajja okuva mu bitundu ebyetoolodde Yerusaalemi, nga bava mu byalo by’Abanetofa,
29 And from the house of Gilgal, and out of the countreis of Geba, and Azmaueth: for the singers had built them villages round about Ierusalem.
n’okuva mu Besugirugaali, n’okuva mu bitundu by’e Geba n’e Azumavesi; abayimbi baali beefunidde ebyalo okwetooloola Yerusaalemi.
30 And the Priests and Leuites were purified, and clensed the people, and the gates, and the wall.
Bakabona n’Abaleevi bwe baamala okwetukuza olw’emikolo egyo, ne balyoka batukuza abantu, n’emiryango ne bbugwe.
31 And I brought vp the princes of Iudah vpon the wall, and appointed two great companies to giue thankes, and the one went on the right hand of the wall toward the dung gate.
Ne ndyoka ntwala abakulembeze ba Yuda waggulu ku bbugwe, ne ndagira n’ebibinja bibiri eby’abayimbi okwebaza. Ekimu kyalaga waggulu wa bbugwe ku mukono ogwa ddyo, n’ekirala ne kiraga ku Mulyango gw’Obusa.
32 And after them went Hoshaiah, and halfe of the princes of Iudah,
Kosaaya ne kimu kyakubiri eky’abakulembeze ba Yuda ne babagoberera,
33 And Azariah, Ezra and Meshullam,
nga bali wamu ne Azaliya, ne Ezera, ne Mesullamu,
34 Iudah, Beniamin, and Shemaiah, and Ieremiah,
ne Yuda, ne Benyamini, ne Semaaya, ne Yeremiya,
35 And of the Priests sonnes with trumpets, Zechariah the sonne of Ionathan, the sonne of Shemaiah, the sonne of Mattaniah, the sonne of Michaiah, the sonne of Zaccur, ye sonne of Asaph.
ne bakabona abamu nga bakutte amakondeere, ne Zekkaliya mutabani wa Yonasaani, muzzukulu wa Semaaya, muzzukulu wa Mikaaya, muzzukulu wa Zakkuli, muzzukulu wa Asafu;
36 And his brethren, Shemaiah, and Azareel, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Nethaneel, and Iudah, Hanani, with the musicall instruments of Dauid the man of God: and Ezra the scribe went before them.
ne banne abaamuyambangako nga be bano: Semaaya, ne Azuleeri, ne Miralayi, ne Giralayi, ne Maayi, ne Nesaneeri, ne Yuda, ne Kanani, nga balina ebivuga ebyalagirwa Dawudi omusajja wa Katonda, era Ezera omuwandiisi, ye yabakulemberangamu.
37 And to the gate of the fountaine, euen ouer against them went they vp by the staires of the citie of Dauid, at the going vp of the wall beyond the house of Dauid, euen vnto the water gate Eastward.
Bwe baatuuka ku Mulyango gw’Oluzzi, ne bambuka amadaala g’Ekibuga kya Dawudi okutuukira ddala ku bbugwe; ne bayita ku lubiri lwa Dawudi ne batuuka ku Mulyango ogw’Amazzi, oguli ku luuyi olw’ebuvanjuba.
38 And the seconde companie of them that gaue thankes, went on the other side, and I after them, and the halfe of the people was vpon the wall, and vpon the towre of the furnaces euen vnto the broad wall.
Ekibinja ekyokubiri eky’abayimbi, ne kiraga ku luuyi olwolekedde luli bali gye baali balaze. Nze ne kimu kyakubiri eky’abantu ne tubagoberera okutuukira ddala waggulu ku bbugwe, ne tuyita ku Munaala gw’Ebikoomi ne tutuuka ku Bbugwe Omugazi,
39 And vpon the gate of Ephraim, and vpon the olde gate, and vpon the fishgate, and the towre of Hananeel, and the towre of Meah, euen vnto the sheepegate: and they stood in the gate of the warde.
ne ku Mulyango gwa Efulayimu, ne ku Mulyango gwa Yesana, ne ku Mulyango gw’Ebyennyanja, n’okutuuka ku Munaala gwa Kananeri, ne ku Munaala gw’Ekikumi, n’okutuukira ddala ku Mulyango gw’Endiga, ne tuyimirira ku Mulyango gw’Abambowa.
40 So stood the two companies (of them that gaue thankes) in the house of God, and I and the halfe of the rulers with me.
Ebibinja byombi eby’abayimbi ne batuula mu bifo byabwe mu nnyumba ya Katonda; nange ne kimu kyakubiri eky’abakulembeze ne tutuula,
41 The Priests also, Eliakim, Maaseiah, Miniamin, Michaiah, Elioenai, Zechariah, Hananiah, with trumpets,
awamu ne bakabona bano: Eriyakimu, ne Maaseya, ne Miniyamini, ne Mikaaya, ne Eriwenayi, ne Zekkaliya, ne Kananiya nga balina amakondeere;
42 And Maaseiah, and Shemaiah, and Eleazar, and Vzzi, and Iehohanan, and Malchiiah, and Elam, and Ezer: and the singers sang loude, hauing Izrahiah which was the ouerseer.
Maaseya, ne Semaaya, ne Eriyazaali, ne Uzzi, ne Yekokanani, ne Malukiya, ne Eramu, ne Ezera nabo baaliwo. Abayimbi ne bayimba, Yekulakiya nga ye mukulu waabwe.
43 And the same day they offered great sacrifices and reioyced: for God had giuen them great ioy, so that both the women, and the children were ioyfull: and the ioy of Ierusalem was heard farre off.
Ku lunaku olwo, ne bawaayo ssaddaaka nnyingi nnyo nnyini, nga batendereza kubanga Katonda yali abawadde essanyu lingi nnyo nnyini. Abakazi n’abaana nabo ne basanyukira wamu nabo, era okujaguza okwo mu Yerusaalemi ne kuwulirwa mu bifo eby’ewala.
44 Also at the same time were men appointed ouer the chambers of the store for the offerings (for the first fruites, and for the tithes) to gather into them out of the fieldes of the cities, the portions of the Law for the Priests and the Leuites: for Iudah reioyced for the Priests and for the Leuites, that serued.
Mu kiseera ekyo, abantu ne balondebwa okulabiriranga amawanika omwaterekebwanga ebyaleetebwanga, nga mwe muli ebibala ebibereberye, ne kimu kya kkumi, nga bireetebwa okuva mu bibanja ebyetoolodde ebibuga, nga bwe kyalagibwa mu Mateeka, ne biweebwa bakabona n’Abaleevi. Yuda baali basanyufu olw’obuweereza bwa bakabona awamu n’obw’Abaleevi.
45 And both the singers and the Leuites kept the ward of their God, and the warde of the purification according to the commandement of Dauid, and Salomon his sonne.
Bakabona n’Abaleevi ne bakwata embaga ya Katonda waabwe era ne bagitukuza, n’abayimbi awamu n’abakuumi ba wankaaki nabo ne bakola bwe batyo, ng’ekiragiro kya Dawudi ne Sulemaani mutabani we bwe kyali.
46 For in the dayes of Dauid and Asaph, of olde were chiefe singers, and songs of praise and thankesgiuing vnto God.
Mu biro eby’edda, mu biseera bya Dawudi ne Asafu, waabangawo abakulu b’abayimbi, ate nga waliwo n’ennyimba ezaayimbibwanga okutendereza Katonda.
47 And in the dayes of Zerubbabel, and in the dayes of Nehemiah did al Israel giue portions vnto the singers and porters, euerie day his portion, and they gaue the holy things vnto the Leuites, and the Leuites gaue the holy things vnto the sonnes of Aaron.
Noolwekyo mu biro bya Zerubbaberi ne mu biro bya Nekkemiya, Isirayiri kyeyava ewaayo ebibinja by’abayimbi n’abakuumi ba wankaaki. Ne balonda n’ekibinja ky’Abaleevi abalala, n’Abaleevi nabo ne balondayo ekibinja ekyava mu bazzukulu ba Alooni.
