Nehemiah 11

1 And the rulers of the people dwelt in Ierusalem: the other people also cast lottes, to bring one out of ten to dwel in Ierusalem the holy citie, and nine partes to be in the cities.

இஸ்ரயேல் மக்களின் தலைவர்கள் எருசலேமில் குடியிருந்தனர். மிகுதியான மக்களில் பத்துப் பேருக்கு ஒருவரை பரிசுத்த நகரமாகிய எருசலேமில் போய் குடியிருக்கப்பண்ண சீட்டுப்போட்டார்கள். மிகுதியான ஒன்பதுபேரும் தங்கள் பட்டணங்களில் தங்கி இருந்தனர்.

2 And the people thanked all the men that were willing to dwell in Ierusalem.

எருசலேமில் போய்த் தங்குவதற்கு முன்வந்தவர்களை எல்லா மக்களும் வாழ்த்தினார்கள்.

3 These now are the chiefe of the prouince, that dwelt in Ierusalem, but in the cities of Iudah, euery one dwelt in his owne possession in their cities of Israel, the Priestes and the Leuites, and the Nethinims, and the sonnes of Salomons seruants.

எருசலேமில் குடியமர்ந்த மாகாணத் தலைவர்களின் பெயர்கள்: ஆயினும் இஸ்ரயேலரிலும், ஆசாரியர்களிலும், லேவியர்களிலும், ஆலய பணியாட்களிலும், சாலொமோனின் வேலையாட்களின் வழித்தோன்றல்களிலும் உள்ள பலர் யூதாவிலுள்ள பல்வேறுபட்ட பட்டணங்களிலுள்ள தங்களுக்குச் சொந்தமான இடங்களில் தொடர்ந்து வாழ்ந்தார்கள்.

4 And in Ierusalem dwelt certaine of the children of Iudah, and of the children of Beniamin. Of the sonnes of Iudah, Athaiah, the sonne of Vziiah, the sonne of Zechariah, the sonne of Amariah, the sonne of Shephatiah, the sonne of Mahaleel, of the sonnes of Perez,

ஆனால் யூதாவையும், பென்யமீனையும் சேர்ந்த மற்ற மக்களில் சிலர் எருசலேமில் வாழ்ந்தார்கள். எருசலேமில் குடியமர்ந்த யூதாவின் வழிவந்த தலைவர்கள் யாரெனில், அத்தாயா உசியாவின் மகன், உசியா சகரியாவின் மகன், சகரியா அமரியாவின் மகன், அமரியா செபதியாவின் மகன், செபதியா மகலாலெயேலின் மகன், மகலாலேல் பேரேஸின் சந்ததிகளுள் ஒருவன்.

5 And Maaseiah the sonne of Baruch, the sonne of Col Hozeh, the sonne of Hazaiah, the sonne of Adaiah, the sonne of Ioiarib, the sonne of Zechariah, the sonne of Shiloni.

அடுத்து மாசெயா பாரூக்கின் மகன், பாரூக் கொல்லோசேயின் மகன், கொல்லோசே அசாயாவின் மகன், அசாயா அதாயாவின் மகன், அதாயா யோயாரிபின் மகன், யோயாரிபு சகரியாவின் மகன், சகரியா சீலோனின் வழித்தோன்றலில் ஒருவன்.

6 All the sonnes of Perez that dwelt at Ierusalem, were foure hundreth, three score and eight valiant men.

எருசலேமில் வாழ்ந்த பேரேஸின் சந்ததிகள் யாவரும் மொத்தமாக நானூற்று அறுபத்தெட்டு பலசாலிகளாயிருந்தனர்.

7 These also are the sonnes of Beniamin, Sallu, the sonne of Meshullam, the sonne of Ioed, the sonne of Pedaiah, the sonne of Kolaiah, the sonne of Maaseiah, the sonne of Ithiel, the sonne of Ieshaiah.

பென்யமீன் வழித்தோன்றலில் வந்த தலைவர்கள்: சல்லு மெசுல்லாமின் மகன், மெசுல்லாம் யோயேதின் மகன், யோயேது பெதாயாவின் மகன், பெதாயா கோலாயாவின் மகன், கோலாயா மாசெயாவின் மகன், மாசெயா இதியேலின் மகன், இதியேல் எஷாயாவின் மகன்,

8 And after him Gabai, Sallai, nine hundreth and twentie and eight.

அவனைப் பின்பற்றியவர்களான கப்பாய், சல்லாய் என்போருடன் மொத்தம் தொளாயிரத்து இருபத்தெட்டுப்பேர்.

9 And Ioel the sonne of Zichri was gouernour ouer them: and Iudah, the sonne of Senuah was the second ouer the citie:

சிக்ரியின் மகனான யோயேல் அவர்களின் தலைமை அதிகாரியாய் இருந்தான். அசெனுவாவின் மகன் யூதா பட்டணத்தின் இரண்டாவது மாவட்டத்திற்குப் பொறுப்பாயிருந்தான்.

10 Of the Priestes, Iedaiah, the sonne of Ioiarib, Iachin.

ஆசாரியர்களை சேர்ந்தவர்கள்: யெதாயா யோயாரிபின் மகன், யாகின்,

11 Seraiah, the sonne of Hilkiah, the sonne of Meshullam, the sonne of Zadok, the sonne of Meraioth, the sonne of Ahitub was chiefe of the house of God.

இறைவனுடைய ஆலயத்தின் மேற்பார்வையாளனான செராயா இல்க்கியாவின் மகன், இல்க்கியா மெசுல்லாமின் மகன், மெசுல்லாம் சாதோக்கின் மகன், சாதோக்கு மெராயோத்தின் மகன், மெராயோத் அகிதூபின் மகன்.

12 And their brethren that did the worke in the Temple, were eight hundreth, twenty and two: and Adaiah, the sonne of Ieroham, the sonne of Pelaliah, the sonne of Amzi, the sonne of Zechariah, the sonne of Pashur, the sonne of Malchiah:

ஆலய வேலையைச் செய்ய இவர்களது உடன்வேலையாட்களுடன் எல்லாமாக எண்ணூற்று இருபத்திரண்டுபேர் இருந்தனர். அதாயா இவன் எரோகாமின் மகன், எரோகாம் பெலலியாவின் மகன், பெல்லியா அம்சியின் மகன், அம்சி சகரியாவின் மகன், சகரியா பஸ்கூரின் மகன், பஸ்கூர் மல்கியாவின் மகன்.

13 And his brethren, chiefe of the fathers, two hundreth and two and fourtie: and Amashsai the sonne of Azareel, the sonne of Ahazai, the sonne of Meshilemoth, the sonne of Immer:

குடும்பத் தலைவர்களான அவனுடைய உடன்வேலையாட்களுடன் எல்லாமாக இருநூற்று நாற்பத்திரண்டுபேர் இருந்தார்கள்; அமாசாய் அசரெயேலின் மகன், அசரெயேல் அகசாயின் மகன், அகசாய் மெசில்லேமோத்தின் மகன், மெசில்லேமோத் இம்மேரின் மகன்.

14 And their brethren valiant men, an hundreth and eight and twentie: and their ouerseer was Zabdiel the sonne of Hagedolim.

வலிய மனிதர்களான அவனுடைய உடன்வேலையாட்களுடன் எல்லாமாக நூற்று இருபத்தெட்டுப்பேர் இருந்தார்கள். அவர்களுடைய தலைமை அதிகாரியாக அகெதோலிமின் மகன் சப்தியேல் இருந்தான்.

15 And of the Leuites, Shemaiah, the sonne of Hashub, the sonne of Azrikam, the sonne of Hashabiah, the sonne of Bunni.

லேவியரைச் சேர்ந்தவர்கள்: செமாயா அசூபின் மகன், அசூபு அஸ்ரீகாமின் மகன், அஸ்ரீகாம் அசபியாவின் மகன், அசபியா புன்னியின் மகன்.

16 And Shabbethai, and Iozabad of the chiefe of the Leuites were ouer the workes of the house of God without.

இறைவனுடைய ஆலயத்தின் வெளிப்புற வேலைகளுக்கு லேவியர்களுக்குத் தலைவர்களான சபெதாயும், யோசபாத்தும் பொறுப்பாயிருந்தார்கள்.

17 And Mattaniah, the sonne of Micha, the sonne of Zabdi, the sonne of Asaph was the chiefe to begin the thankesgiuing and prayer: and Bakbukiah the second of his brethren, and Abda, the sonne of Shammua, the sonne of Galal, the sonne of Ieduthun.

மத்தனியா இவன் மீகாவின் மகன், மீகா சப்தியின் மகன், சப்தி ஆசாபின் மகன். இவன் துதி செலுத்துதலையும், மன்றாட்டையும் நடத்துவதற்குப் பொறுப்பாயிருந்தான். பக்பூக்கியா தனது உடன்வேலையாட்களுள் இரண்டாவது பொறுப்பாளனாயிருந்தான்; அப்தா இவன் சம்மூவாவின் மகன், சம்மூவா காலாலின் மகன், காலால் எதுத்தூனின் மகன்.

18 All the Leuites in the holy citie were two hundreth foure score and foure.

பரிசுத்த நகரத்தில் இருந்த மொத்த லேவியர்கள் இருநூற்று எண்பத்து நான்குபேர்.

19 And the porters Akkub, Talmon and their brethren that kept the gates, were an hundreth twentie and two.

வாசல் காவலர் யாரெனில்: வாசல்களில் காவல்காத்த அக்கூப், தல்மோன் ஆகியோருடன் அவர்கள் கூட்டாளிகளும் மொத்தம் நூற்று எழுபத்திரண்டுபேர்.

20 And the residue of Israel, of the Priests, and of the Leuites dwelt in al the cities of Iudah, euery one in his inheritance.

மீதியான இஸ்ரயேலர் ஆசாரியருடனும், லேவியருடனும் தங்களுடைய முற்பிதாக்களின் சொத்துரிமை இடங்களில் யூதாவிலுள்ள எல்லா நகரங்களிலும் வாழ்ந்தார்கள்.

21 And the Nethinims dwelt in the fortresse, and Ziha, and Gispa was ouer the Nethinims.

ஆலய பணியாட்கள் ஓபேல் குன்றில் வாழ்ந்தார்கள். சீகாவும் கிஸ்பாவும் இவர்களுக்குப் பொறுப்பாயிருந்தார்கள்.

22 And the ouerseer of the Leuites in Ierusalem was Vzzi the sonne of Bani, the sonne of Ashabiah, the sonne of Mattaniah, the sonne of Micha: of the sonnes of Asaph singers were ouer the worke of the house of God.

எருசலேமிலிருந்த லேவியருக்கு மேற்பார்வையாளனாக ஊசி இருந்தான். ஊசி பானியின் மகன், பானி அசபியாவின் மகன், அசபியா மதனியாவின் மகன், மத்தனியா மீகாவின் மகன். ஊசி ஆசாபின் சந்ததிகளில் ஒருவன், ஆசாபின் சந்ததிகளே இறைவனுடைய ஆலய ஆராதனைக்குப் பொறுப்பான பாடகர்களாக இருந்தார்கள்.

23 For it was the Kings commandement cocerning them, that faithfull prouision shoulde bee for the singers euery day.

இந்த பாடகர்கள் அரசனுடைய உத்தரவுக்குக் கீழ்ப்பட்டிருந்து, தங்களுடைய அன்றாட நடவடிக்கைகளை ஒழுங்குபடுத்தினார்கள்.

24 And Pethahiah the sonne of Meshezabeel, of the sonnes of Zerah, the sonne of Iudah was at the Kings hand in all matters concerning the people.

யூதாவின் மகன் சேராவின் வழித்தோன்றலான மெஷெசாபெயேலின் மகன் பெத்தகியா, மக்களுடன் சம்பந்தப்பட்ட எல்லா விவகாரங்களுக்கும் பொறுப்பான அரசனுடைய பிரதிநிதியாய் இருந்தான்.

25 And in the villages in their landes, some of the children of Iudah dwelt in Kiriath-arba, and in the villages thereof, and in Dibon, and in the villages thereof, and in Iekabzeel. and in the villages thereof,

கிராமங்களையும், அதனுடைய வயல்களையும் பொறுத்தமட்டில், யூதா மக்களில் சிலர் கீரியாத் அர்பாவிலும் அதைச் சுற்றியுள்ள குடியிருப்புகளிலும், தீபோனிலும், அதன் குடியிருப்புகளிலும், எகாப்செயேலிலும் அதைச் சேர்ந்த கிராமங்களிலும் வாழ்ந்தார்கள்.

26 And in Ieshua, and in Moladah, and in Beth palet,

அத்துடன் யெசுவா, மொலாதா, பெத்பெலேத்,

27 And in Hazer-shual, and in Beer-sheba, and in the villages thereof,

ஆத்சார்சூவால், பெயெர்செபா, அதன் குடியிருப்புகள்,

28 And in Ziklag, and in Mechonah, and in the villages thereof,

சிக்லாக், மேகோனா, அதன் குடியிருப்புகள்,

29 And in En-rimmon, and in Zareah, and in Iarmuth,

என்ரிம்மோன், சோரா, யர்மூத்,

30 Zanoah, Adullam, and in their villages, in Lachish, and in the fieldes thereof, at Azekah, and in the villages thereof: and they dwelt from Beer-sheba, vnto the valley of Hinnom.

சனோவா, அதுல்லாம், அவற்றின் கிராமங்கள், லாகீசு, அதன் வயல்கள், அசேக்கா அதன் குடியிருப்புகள் ஆகியவற்றில் வாழ்ந்தார்கள். ஆகவே இவர்கள் பெயெர்செபாவிலிருந்து இன்னோம் பள்ளத்தாக்கு வரையுள்ள பிரதேசங்களில் வாழ்ந்தார்கள்.

31 And the sonnes of Beniamin from Geba, in Michmash, and Aiia, and Beth-el, and in the villages thereof,

கேபாவைச் சேர்ந்த பென்யமீனியரின் சந்ததிகள் மிக்மாஸ், ஆயா, பெத்தேலும், அதைச் சுற்றியுள்ள குடியிருப்புகளிலும் வாழ்ந்தார்கள்.

32 Anathoth, Nob, Ananiah,

அத்துடன் ஆனதோத், நோப், அனனியா

33 Hazor, Ramah, Gittaim,

ஆத்சோர், ராமா, கித்தாயிம்,

34 Hadid, Zeboim, Nebalat,

ஆதித், செபோயிம், நெபலாத்,

35 Lod and Ono, in the carpenters valley.

லோத், ஓனோ ஆகிய இடங்களிலும், கைவினைஞரின் பள்ளத்தாக்கிலும் வாழ்ந்தார்கள்.

36 And of the Leuites were diuisions in Iudah and in Beniamin.

யூதாவைச் சேர்ந்த லேவியர்களில் சில பிரிவினர் பென்யமீனில் குடியிருந்தார்கள்.
