Nehemiah 11
1 And the rulers of the people dwelt in Ierusalem: the other people also cast lottes, to bring one out of ten to dwel in Ierusalem the holy citie, and nine partes to be in the cities.
E os príncipes do povo habitaram em Jerusalém, porém o resto do povo lançou sortes, para tirar um de dez, que habitasse na santa cidade de Jerusalém, e as nove partes nas outras cidades.
2 And the people thanked all the men that were willing to dwell in Ierusalem.
E o povo bendisse a todos os homens que voluntariamente se ofereciam para habitarem em Jerusalém.
3 These now are the chiefe of the prouince, that dwelt in Ierusalem, but in the cities of Iudah, euery one dwelt in his owne possession in their cities of Israel, the Priestes and the Leuites, and the Nethinims, and the sonnes of Salomons seruants.
E estes são os chefes da província, que habitaram em Jerusalém (porém nas cidades de Judá habitou cada um na sua possessão, nas suas cidades, Israel, os sacerdotes, e os levitas, e os nethineos, e os filhos dos servos de Salomão):
4 And in Ierusalem dwelt certaine of the children of Iudah, and of the children of Beniamin. Of the sonnes of Iudah, Athaiah, the sonne of Vziiah, the sonne of Zechariah, the sonne of Amariah, the sonne of Shephatiah, the sonne of Mahaleel, of the sonnes of Perez,
Habitaram pois em Jerusalém alguns dos filhos de Judá e dos filhos de Benjamin: dos filhos de Judá, Athaias, filho d'Uzias, filho de Zacarias, filho de Amarias, filho de Sephatias, filho de Mahalaleel, dos filhos de Peres;
5 And Maaseiah the sonne of Baruch, the sonne of Col Hozeh, the sonne of Hazaiah, the sonne of Adaiah, the sonne of Ioiarib, the sonne of Zechariah, the sonne of Shiloni.
E Maaseias, filho de Baruch, filho de Col-hose, filho de Hazaias, filho d'Adaias, filho de Joiarib, filho de Zacarias, filho de Siloni.
6 All the sonnes of Perez that dwelt at Ierusalem, were foure hundreth, three score and eight valiant men.
Todos os filhos de Peres, que habitaram em Jerusalém, foram quatrocentos e sessenta e oito homens valentes.
7 These also are the sonnes of Beniamin, Sallu, the sonne of Meshullam, the sonne of Ioed, the sonne of Pedaiah, the sonne of Kolaiah, the sonne of Maaseiah, the sonne of Ithiel, the sonne of Ieshaiah.
E estes são os filhos de Benjamin: Sallu, filho de Messullam, filho de Joed, filho de Pedaias, filho de Kolaias, filho de Maaseias, filho de Ithiel, filho de Jesaias.
8 And after him Gabai, Sallai, nine hundreth and twentie and eight.
E depois dele Gabbai, Sallai: novecentos e vinte e oito.
9 And Ioel the sonne of Zichri was gouernour ouer them: and Iudah, the sonne of Senuah was the second ouer the citie:
E Joel, filho de Zichri, superintendente sobre eles: e Judá, filho de Senua, segundo sobre a cidade.
10 Of the Priestes, Iedaiah, the sonne of Ioiarib, Iachin.
Dos sacerdotes: Jedaias, filho de Joiarib, Jachin,
11 Seraiah, the sonne of Hilkiah, the sonne of Meshullam, the sonne of Zadok, the sonne of Meraioth, the sonne of Ahitub was chiefe of the house of God.
Seraias, filho d'Hilkias, filho de Mesullam, filho de Zadok, filho de Meraioth, filho de Ahitub, maioral da casa de Deus.
12 And their brethren that did the worke in the Temple, were eight hundreth, twenty and two: and Adaiah, the sonne of Ieroham, the sonne of Pelaliah, the sonne of Amzi, the sonne of Zechariah, the sonne of Pashur, the sonne of Malchiah:
E seus irmãos, que faziam a obra na casa, oitocentos e vinte e dois: e Adaias, filho de Jeroham, filho de Pelalias, filho de Amsi, filho de Zacarias, filho de Pashur, filho de Malchias.
13 And his brethren, chiefe of the fathers, two hundreth and two and fourtie: and Amashsai the sonne of Azareel, the sonne of Ahazai, the sonne of Meshilemoth, the sonne of Immer:
E seus irmãos, cabeças dos pais, duzentos e quarenta e dois; e Amasai, filho de Azareel, filho de Ahazai, filho de Mesillemoth, filho de Immer.
14 And their brethren valiant men, an hundreth and eight and twentie: and their ouerseer was Zabdiel the sonne of Hagedolim.
E os irmãos deles, varões valentes, cento e vinte e oito, e superintendente sobre eles Zabdiel, filho de Gedolim.
15 And of the Leuites, Shemaiah, the sonne of Hashub, the sonne of Azrikam, the sonne of Hashabiah, the sonne of Bunni.
E dos levitas: Semaias, filho de Hassub, filho de Azrikam, filho de Hasabias, filho de Buni;
16 And Shabbethai, and Iozabad of the chiefe of the Leuites were ouer the workes of the house of God without.
E Sabbethai, e Jozabad, dos cabeças dos levitas, presidiam sobre a obra de fora da casa de Deus;
17 And Mattaniah, the sonne of Micha, the sonne of Zabdi, the sonne of Asaph was the chiefe to begin the thankesgiuing and prayer: and Bakbukiah the second of his brethren, and Abda, the sonne of Shammua, the sonne of Galal, the sonne of Ieduthun.
E Matthanias, filho de Micha, filho de Zabdi, filho d'Asaph, o cabeça, que começava a dar graças na oração, e Bakbukias, o segundo de seus irmãos: depois Abda, filho de Sammua, filho de Galal, filho de Jeduthun.
18 All the Leuites in the holy citie were two hundreth foure score and foure.
Todos os levitas na santa cidade, foram duzentos e oitenta e quatro.
19 And the porters Akkub, Talmon and their brethren that kept the gates, were an hundreth twentie and two.
E os porteiros, Akkub, Talmon, com seus irmãos, os guardas das portas, cento e setenta e dois.
20 And the residue of Israel, of the Priests, and of the Leuites dwelt in al the cities of Iudah, euery one in his inheritance.
E o resto de Israel, dos sacerdotes e levitas, esteve em todas as cidades de Judá, cada um na sua herdade.
21 And the Nethinims dwelt in the fortresse, and Ziha, and Gispa was ouer the Nethinims.
E os nethineos habitaram em Ophel; e Ziha e Gispa presidiam sobre os nethineos.
22 And the ouerseer of the Leuites in Ierusalem was Vzzi the sonne of Bani, the sonne of Ashabiah, the sonne of Mattaniah, the sonne of Micha: of the sonnes of Asaph singers were ouer the worke of the house of God.
E o superintendente dos levitas em Jerusalém foi Uzzi, filho de Bani, filho de Hasabias, filho de Matthanias, filho de Micha: dos filhos d'Asaph os cantores, no serviço da casa de Deus.
23 For it was the Kings commandement cocerning them, that faithfull prouision shoulde bee for the singers euery day.
Porque havia um mandado do rei acerca deles: a saber, uma certa porção para os cantores, cada qual no seu dia.
24 And Pethahiah the sonne of Meshezabeel, of the sonnes of Zerah, the sonne of Iudah was at the Kings hand in all matters concerning the people.
E Petahias, filho de Mesezabeel, dos filhos de Zerah, filho de Judá, estava à mão do rei, em todos os negócios do povo.
25 And in the villages in their landes, some of the children of Iudah dwelt in Kiriath-arba, and in the villages thereof, and in Dibon, and in the villages thereof, and in Iekabzeel. and in the villages thereof,
E nas aldeias, nas suas terras, alguns dos filhos de Judá habitaram em Kiriath-arba, e nos lugares da sua jurisdição; e em Dibon, e nos lugares da sua jurisdição; e em Jekabseel, e nas suas aldeias,
26 And in Ieshua, and in Moladah, and in Beth palet,
E em Jesua, e em Molada, e em Beth-pelet,
27 And in Hazer-shual, and in Beer-sheba, and in the villages thereof,
E em Hasar-sual, e em Berseba, e nos lugares da sua jurisdição,
28 And in Ziklag, and in Mechonah, and in the villages thereof,
E em Siclag, e em Mechona, e nos lugares da sua jurisdição,
29 And in En-rimmon, and in Zareah, and in Iarmuth,
E em En-rimmon, e em Zora, e em Jarmuth;
30 Zanoah, Adullam, and in their villages, in Lachish, and in the fieldes thereof, at Azekah, and in the villages thereof: and they dwelt from Beer-sheba, vnto the valley of Hinnom.
Em Zanoah, Adullam, e nas suas aldeias; em Lachis, e nas suas terras; em Azaka, e nos lugares da sua jurisdição: acamparam-se desde Berseba até ao vale de Hinnom.
31 And the sonnes of Beniamin from Geba, in Michmash, and Aiia, and Beth-el, and in the villages thereof,
E os filhos de Benjamin, de Geba, habitaram em Michmas, e Aia, e bethel, e nos lugares da sua jurisdição,
32 Anathoth, Nob, Ananiah,
E em Anathoth, em Nob, em Anania,
33 Hazor, Ramah, Gittaim,
Em Hasor, em Rama, em Gitthaim,
34 Hadid, Zeboim, Nebalat,
Em Hadid, em Zeboim, em Neballat,
35 Lod and Ono, in the carpenters valley.
Em Lod, e em Ono, no vale dos artífices.
36 And of the Leuites were diuisions in Iudah and in Beniamin.
E alguns dos levitas nos repartimentos de Judá e de Benjamin.
