Nehemiah 11
1 And the rulers of the people dwelt in Ierusalem: the other people also cast lottes, to bring one out of ten to dwel in Ierusalem the holy citie, and nine partes to be in the cities.
Und die Obersten des Volks wohneten zu Jerusalem. Das andere Volk aber warfen das Los darum, daß unter zehn ein Teil gen Jerusalem in die heilige Stadt zögen, zu wohnen, und neun Teile in den Städten.
2 And the people thanked all the men that were willing to dwell in Ierusalem.
Und das Volk segnete alle die Männer, die freiwillig waren, zu Jerusalem zu wohnen.
3 These now are the chiefe of the prouince, that dwelt in Ierusalem, but in the cities of Iudah, euery one dwelt in his owne possession in their cities of Israel, the Priestes and the Leuites, and the Nethinims, and the sonnes of Salomons seruants.
Dies sind die Häupter in der Landschaft, die zu Jerusalem wohneten. In den Städten Judas aber wohnete ein jeglicher in seinem Gut, das in ihren Städten war, nämlich Israel, Priester, Leviten, Nethinim und die Kinder der Knechte Salomos.
4 And in Ierusalem dwelt certaine of the children of Iudah, and of the children of Beniamin. Of the sonnes of Iudah, Athaiah, the sonne of Vziiah, the sonne of Zechariah, the sonne of Amariah, the sonne of Shephatiah, the sonne of Mahaleel, of the sonnes of Perez,
Und zu Jerusalem wohneten etliche der Kinder Juda und Benjamin. Von den Kindern Juda: Athaja, der Sohn Usias, des Sohns Sacharjas, des Sohns Amarjas, des Sohns Sephatjas, des Sohns Mahelaleels, aus den Kindern Parez;
5 And Maaseiah the sonne of Baruch, the sonne of Col Hozeh, the sonne of Hazaiah, the sonne of Adaiah, the sonne of Ioiarib, the sonne of Zechariah, the sonne of Shiloni.
und Maeseja, der Sohn Baruchs, des Sohns Chal-Hoses, des Sohns Hasajas, des Sohns Adajas, des Sohns Jojaribs, des Sohns Sacharjas, des Sohns Silonis.
6 All the sonnes of Perez that dwelt at Ierusalem, were foure hundreth, three score and eight valiant men.
Aller Kinder Parez, die zu Jerusalem wohneten, waren vierhundertundachtundsechzig, redliche Leute.
7 These also are the sonnes of Beniamin, Sallu, the sonne of Meshullam, the sonne of Ioed, the sonne of Pedaiah, the sonne of Kolaiah, the sonne of Maaseiah, the sonne of Ithiel, the sonne of Ieshaiah.
Dies sind die Kinder Benjamin: Sallu, der Sohn Mesullams, des Sohns Joeds, des Sohns Pedajas, des Sohns Kolajahs, des Sohns Maesejas, des Sohns Ithiels, des Sohns Jesaias;
8 And after him Gabai, Sallai, nine hundreth and twentie and eight.
und nach ihm Gabai, Sallai, neunhundertundachtundzwanzig.
9 And Ioel the sonne of Zichri was gouernour ouer them: and Iudah, the sonne of Senuah was the second ouer the citie:
Und Joel, der Sohn Sichris, war ihr Vorsteher, und Juda, der Sohn Hasnuas, über das andere Teil der Stadt.
10 Of the Priestes, Iedaiah, the sonne of Ioiarib, Iachin.
Von den Priestern wohneten Jedaja, der Sohn Jojaribs, Jachin,
11 Seraiah, the sonne of Hilkiah, the sonne of Meshullam, the sonne of Zadok, the sonne of Meraioth, the sonne of Ahitub was chiefe of the house of God.
Seraja, der Sohn Hilkias, des Sohns Mesullams, des Sohns Zadoks, des Sohns Merajoth, des Sohns Ahitobs, war Fürst im Hause Gottes.
12 And their brethren that did the worke in the Temple, were eight hundreth, twenty and two: and Adaiah, the sonne of Ieroham, the sonne of Pelaliah, the sonne of Amzi, the sonne of Zechariah, the sonne of Pashur, the sonne of Malchiah:
Und seine Brüder, die im Hause schafften, der waren achthundertundzweiundzwanzig. Und Adaja, der Sohn Jerohams, des Sohns Plaljas, des Sohns Amzis, des Sohns Sacharjas, des Sohns Pashurs, des Sohns Malchias,
13 And his brethren, chiefe of the fathers, two hundreth and two and fourtie: and Amashsai the sonne of Azareel, the sonne of Ahazai, the sonne of Meshilemoth, the sonne of Immer:
und seine Brüder, Obersten unter den Vätern, waren zweihundertundzweiundvierzig. Und Amassai, der Sohn Asareels, des Sohns Ahusais, des Sohns Mesillemoths, des Sohns Immers,
14 And their brethren valiant men, an hundreth and eight and twentie: and their ouerseer was Zabdiel the sonne of Hagedolim.
und seine Brüder, gewaltige Leute, waren hundertundachtundzwanzig. Und ihr Vorsteher war Sabdiel, der Sohn Gedolims.
15 And of the Leuites, Shemaiah, the sonne of Hashub, the sonne of Azrikam, the sonne of Hashabiah, the sonne of Bunni.
Von den Leviten: Semaja, der Sohn Hasubs, des Sohns Asrikams, des Sohns Hasabjas, des Sohns Bunnis,
16 And Shabbethai, and Iozabad of the chiefe of the Leuites were ouer the workes of the house of God without.
und Sabthai und Josabad aus der Leviten Obersten an den äußerlichen Geschäften im Hause Gottes,
17 And Mattaniah, the sonne of Micha, the sonne of Zabdi, the sonne of Asaph was the chiefe to begin the thankesgiuing and prayer: and Bakbukiah the second of his brethren, and Abda, the sonne of Shammua, the sonne of Galal, the sonne of Ieduthun.
und Mathanja, der Sohn Michas, des Sohns Sabdis, des Sohns Assaphs, der das Haupt war, Dank anzuheben zum Gebet, und Bakbukja, der andere unter seinen Brüdern, und Abda, der Sohn Sammuas, des Sohns Galals, des Sohns Jedithuns.
18 All the Leuites in the holy citie were two hundreth foure score and foure.
Aller Leviten in der heiligen Stadt waren zweihundertundvierundachtzig.
19 And the porters Akkub, Talmon and their brethren that kept the gates, were an hundreth twentie and two.
Und die Torhüter, Akub und Talmon und ihre Brüder, die in den Toren hüteten, waren hundertundzweiundsiebenzig.
20 And the residue of Israel, of the Priests, and of the Leuites dwelt in al the cities of Iudah, euery one in his inheritance.
Das andere Israel aber, Priester und Leviten, waren in allen Städten Judas, ein jeglicher in seinem Erbteil.
21 And the Nethinims dwelt in the fortresse, and Ziha, and Gispa was ouer the Nethinims.
Und die Nethinim wohneten an Ophel. Und Ziha und Gispa gehörten zu den Nethinim.
22 And the ouerseer of the Leuites in Ierusalem was Vzzi the sonne of Bani, the sonne of Ashabiah, the sonne of Mattaniah, the sonne of Micha: of the sonnes of Asaph singers were ouer the worke of the house of God.
Der Vorsteher aber über die Leviten zu Jerusalem war Usi, der Sohn Banis, des Sohns Hasabjas, des Sohns Mathanjas, des Sohns Michas. Aus den Kindern Assaphs waren Sänger um das Geschäft im Hause Gottes.
23 For it was the Kings commandement cocerning them, that faithfull prouision shoulde bee for the singers euery day.
Denn es war des Königs Gebot über sie, daß die Sänger treulich handelten, einen jeglichen Tag seine Gebühr.
24 And Pethahiah the sonne of Meshezabeel, of the sonnes of Zerah, the sonne of Iudah was at the Kings hand in all matters concerning the people.
Und Pethahja, der Sohn Mesesabeels, aus den Kindern Serahs, des Sohns Judas, war Befehlshaber des Königs zu allen Geschäften an das Volk.
25 And in the villages in their landes, some of the children of Iudah dwelt in Kiriath-arba, and in the villages thereof, and in Dibon, and in the villages thereof, and in Iekabzeel. and in the villages thereof,
Und der Kinder Juda, die außen auf den Dörfern auf ihrem Lande waren, wohneten etliche zu Kiriath-Arba und in ihren Töchtern und zu Dibon und in ihren Töchtern und zu Kabzeel und in ihren Dörfern
26 And in Ieshua, and in Moladah, and in Beth palet,
und zu Jesua, Molada, Beth-Palet,
27 And in Hazer-shual, and in Beer-sheba, and in the villages thereof,
Hazar-Sual, Berseba und ihren Töchtern
28 And in Ziklag, and in Mechonah, and in the villages thereof,
und zu Ziklag und Mochona und ihren Töchtern
29 And in En-rimmon, and in Zareah, and in Iarmuth,
und zu En-Rimmon, Zarega, Jeremuth,
30 Zanoah, Adullam, and in their villages, in Lachish, and in the fieldes thereof, at Azekah, and in the villages thereof: and they dwelt from Beer-sheba, vnto the valley of Hinnom.
Sanoah, Adullam und ihren Dörfern, zu Lachis und auf ihrem Felde, zu Aseka und in ihren Töchtern. Und lagerten sich von Berseba an bis ans Tal Hinnom.
31 And the sonnes of Beniamin from Geba, in Michmash, and Aiia, and Beth-el, and in the villages thereof,
Die Kinder Benjamin aber von Gaba wohneten zu Michmas, Aja, Bethel und ihren Töchtern
32 Anathoth, Nob, Ananiah,
und zu Anathoth, Nob, Ananja,
33 Hazor, Ramah, Gittaim,
Hazor, Rama, Githaim,
34 Hadid, Zeboim, Nebalat,
Hadid, Ziboim, Neballat,
35 Lod and Ono, in the carpenters valley.
Lod, Ono und im Zimmertal.
36 And of the Leuites were diuisions in Iudah and in Beniamin.
Und etliche Leviten, die Teil in Juda hatten, wohneten unter Benjamin.
