Nehemiah 11
1 And the rulers of the people dwelt in Ierusalem: the other people also cast lottes, to bring one out of ten to dwel in Ierusalem the holy citie, and nine partes to be in the cities.
In Jerusalem wohnten die Fürsten des Volkes. Das andere Volk aber warf die Lose, daß je einer von zehn hereinkommen und in Jerusalem, der heiligen Stadt, wohnen solle. Neun Zehntel blieben in den anderen Städten.
2 And the people thanked all the men that were willing to dwell in Ierusalem.
Und das Volk segnete alle Männer, die freiwillig beschlossen, in Jerusalem zu wohnen.
3 These now are the chiefe of the prouince, that dwelt in Ierusalem, but in the cities of Iudah, euery one dwelt in his owne possession in their cities of Israel, the Priestes and the Leuites, and the Nethinims, and the sonnes of Salomons seruants.
Dies sind die Häupter der Provinz, die in Jerusalem Wohnung genommen. In den Städten Judas aber war jeder in seinem Besitztum und in seiner Stadt geblieben: Israels Priester, Leviten und Tempelsklaven und die Söhne der Sklaven Salomos.
4 And in Ierusalem dwelt certaine of the children of Iudah, and of the children of Beniamin. Of the sonnes of Iudah, Athaiah, the sonne of Vziiah, the sonne of Zechariah, the sonne of Amariah, the sonne of Shephatiah, the sonne of Mahaleel, of the sonnes of Perez,
In Jerusalem hatten Söhne Judas und Söhne Benjamins Wohnung genommen. Von den Söhnen Judas Ataja, der Sohn Uzzias, der Enkel des Zekarja, des Sohnes Amarja, des Sohnes des Sephatja, des Sohnes des Mahalalel, von den Söhnen des Peres,
5 And Maaseiah the sonne of Baruch, the sonne of Col Hozeh, the sonne of Hazaiah, the sonne of Adaiah, the sonne of Ioiarib, the sonne of Zechariah, the sonne of Shiloni.
und Maaseja, der Sohn Baruks, der Enkel des Kol Chozeh, des Sohnes des Chazaja, des Sohnes des Adaja, des Sohnes des Jojarib, des Sohnes des Zekada, des Sohnes des Siloniten.
6 All the sonnes of Perez that dwelt at Ierusalem, were foure hundreth, three score and eight valiant men.
Alle Peressöhne, die zu Jerusalem wohnten, waren 468 Grundbesitzer.
7 These also are the sonnes of Beniamin, Sallu, the sonne of Meshullam, the sonne of Ioed, the sonne of Pedaiah, the sonne of Kolaiah, the sonne of Maaseiah, the sonne of Ithiel, the sonne of Ieshaiah.
Dies sind die Söhne Benjamins: Sallu, der Sohn Mesullams, der Enkel des Joed, des Sohnes des Pedaja, des Sohnes des Kolaja, des Sohnes des Maaseja, des Sohnes des Isiel, des Sohnes des Jesaja,
8 And after him Gabai, Sallai, nine hundreth and twentie and eight.
und nach ihm Gabbai und Salai 928.
9 And Ioel the sonne of Zichri was gouernour ouer them: and Iudah, the sonne of Senuah was the second ouer the citie:
Und Joel, Zikris Sohn, war ihr Aufseher, und Juda, Senuas Sohn, war der zweite Aufseher über die Stadt.
10 Of the Priestes, Iedaiah, the sonne of Ioiarib, Iachin.
Von den Priestern: Jojaribs Sohn Jedaja, Jakin
11 Seraiah, the sonne of Hilkiah, the sonne of Meshullam, the sonne of Zadok, the sonne of Meraioth, the sonne of Ahitub was chiefe of the house of God.
und Seraja, der Sohn Chilkia, Mesullams Enkel und Urenkel Sadoks, des Sohnes der Merajot und Enkels des Achitub, der Fürst des Gotteshauses.
12 And their brethren that did the worke in the Temple, were eight hundreth, twenty and two: and Adaiah, the sonne of Ieroham, the sonne of Pelaliah, the sonne of Amzi, the sonne of Zechariah, the sonne of Pashur, the sonne of Malchiah:
Und ihre Brüder, die den Dienst im Haus besorgten, 822, ferner Adaja, der Sohn des Jerocham, der Enkel des Pelaja und Urenkel des Amri, des Sohnes des Zekarja und Enkel des Paschur, des Sohnes des Malkia.
13 And his brethren, chiefe of the fathers, two hundreth and two and fourtie: and Amashsai the sonne of Azareel, the sonne of Ahazai, the sonne of Meshilemoth, the sonne of Immer:
Und seine Brüder, die Familienhäupter, 242, ferner Amassai, der Sohn des Azarel, Enkel des Achzi und Urenkel des Mesillemot, des Sohnes des Immer,
14 And their brethren valiant men, an hundreth and eight and twentie: and their ouerseer was Zabdiel the sonne of Hagedolim.
ferner ihre Brüder, Grundbesitzer, 128, und Aufseher über sie war Zabdiel, der Sohn Haggedolims.
15 And of the Leuites, Shemaiah, the sonne of Hashub, the sonne of Azrikam, the sonne of Hashabiah, the sonne of Bunni.
Von den Leviten: Semaja, der Sohn Chasubs, der Enkel des Azrikam und Urenkel des Chasabja, des Sohnes des Bunni.
16 And Shabbethai, and Iozabad of the chiefe of the Leuites were ouer the workes of the house of God without.
Und Sabtai und Jozabad standen dem äußeren Dienst am Gotteshause vor; sie gehörten zu den Häuptern der Leviten.
17 And Mattaniah, the sonne of Micha, the sonne of Zabdi, the sonne of Asaph was the chiefe to begin the thankesgiuing and prayer: and Bakbukiah the second of his brethren, and Abda, the sonne of Shammua, the sonne of Galal, the sonne of Ieduthun.
Und Mattanja, der Sohn des Mika, der Enkel des Zabdi und Urenkel des Asaph, der Hauptführer, der beim Gebet den Gesang anstimmte, und Bakbukja, der zweite unter seinen Brüdern, und Abda, der Sohn des Sammua, der Enkel des Galal und Urenkel des Jeditum,
18 All the Leuites in the holy citie were two hundreth foure score and foure.
sämtliche Leviten in der heiligen Stadt waren es 284.
19 And the porters Akkub, Talmon and their brethren that kept the gates, were an hundreth twentie and two.
Die Torhüter waren Akkub, Talmon und ihre Brüder, die Wächter bei den Toren, 172.
20 And the residue of Israel, of the Priests, and of the Leuites dwelt in al the cities of Iudah, euery one in his inheritance.
Und das übrige Israel, die Priester, die Leviten, waren in allen Städten Judas, jeder auf seinem Erbbesitz.
21 And the Nethinims dwelt in the fortresse, and Ziha, and Gispa was ouer the Nethinims.
Und die Tempelsklaven wohnten auf dem Ophel. Sicha und Gispa standen den Tempelsklaven vor.
22 And the ouerseer of the Leuites in Ierusalem was Vzzi the sonne of Bani, the sonne of Ashabiah, the sonne of Mattaniah, the sonne of Micha: of the sonnes of Asaph singers were ouer the worke of the house of God.
Der Aufseher der Leviten zu Jerusalem war Uzzi, der Sohn des Bani, der Enkel des Chasabja und Urenkel des Mattanja, des Sohnes des Mika, von den Asaphsöhnen, den Sängern, beim Dienst im Gotteshause.
23 For it was the Kings commandement cocerning them, that faithfull prouision shoulde bee for the singers euery day.
Denn ein königlicher Befehl lag für sie vor und eine Verpflichtung für die Sänger auf jeden Tag.
24 And Pethahiah the sonne of Meshezabeel, of the sonnes of Zerah, the sonne of Iudah was at the Kings hand in all matters concerning the people.
Petachja, Mesezabels Sohn, von den Söhnen des Zerach, des Sohnes Judas, stand dem König zur Seite in allen Angelegenheiten des Volkes.
25 And in the villages in their landes, some of the children of Iudah dwelt in Kiriath-arba, and in the villages thereof, and in Dibon, and in the villages thereof, and in Iekabzeel. and in the villages thereof,
In den Ortschaften auf ihren Feldmarkungen wohnten von den Söhnen Judas solche in Kirjatarba und seinen Dörfern, in Dibon und seinen Dörfern, in Jekabzeel und seinen Gehöften,
26 And in Ieshua, and in Moladah, and in Beth palet,
in Jesua, Molada, Betpelet,
27 And in Hazer-shual, and in Beer-sheba, and in the villages thereof,
in Chasarsual und Beerseba und seinen Dörfern,
28 And in Ziklag, and in Mechonah, and in the villages thereof,
in Siklag und Mekona und seinen Dörfern,
29 And in En-rimmon, and in Zareah, and in Iarmuth,
in Enrimmon, Sora und Jarmut,
30 Zanoah, Adullam, and in their villages, in Lachish, and in the fieldes thereof, at Azekah, and in the villages thereof: and they dwelt from Beer-sheba, vnto the valley of Hinnom.
in Zanoach, Adullam und ihren Gehöften, in Lakis und seinen Feldmarken, in Azeka und seinen Dörfern. Sie siedelten also von Beerseba bis zum Hinnomstale.
31 And the sonnes of Beniamin from Geba, in Michmash, and Aiia, and Beth-el, and in the villages thereof,
Die Söhne Benjamins waren von Geba an zu Mikmas und Ajja, sowie in Betel und seinen Dörfern,
32 Anathoth, Nob, Ananiah,
in Anatot, Nob, Ananja,
33 Hazor, Ramah, Gittaim,
in Chasor, Rama, Gittaim,
34 Hadid, Zeboim, Nebalat,
in Chadid, Seboim, Niblat,
35 Lod and Ono, in the carpenters valley.
in Lod, Ono, und in Gehacharasim.
36 And of the Leuites were diuisions in Iudah and in Beniamin.
Von den Leviten waren Abteilungen in Juda und in Benjamin.
