Nehemiah 10

1 Now they that sealed were Nehemiah the Tirshatha the sonne of Hachaliah, and Zidkiiah,

Yang membubuhi meterai adalah: kepala daerah Nehemia bin Hakhalya, Zedekia,

2 Seraiah, Azariah, Ieremiah,

Seraya, Azarya, Yeremia,

3 Pashur, Amariah, Malchiah,

Pasyhur, Amarya, Malkia,

4 Hattush, Shebaniah, Malluch,

Hatus, Sebanya, Malukh,

5 Harim, Merimoth, Obadiah,

Harim, Meremot, Obaja,

6 Daniel, Ginnethon, Baruch,

Daniel, Gineton, Barukh,

7 Meshullam, Abiiah, Miamin,

Mesulam, Abia, Miyamin,

8 Maaziah, Bilgai, Shemaiah: these are the Priestes.

Maazya, Bilgai dan Semaya. Itulah para imam.

9 And the Leuites: Ieshua the sonne of Azaniah, Binnui, of the sonnes of Henadad, Kadmiel.

Sedang dari orang-orang Lewi: Yesua bin Azanya, Binui, seorang dari antara anak-anak Henadad, Kadmiel.

10 And their brethren Shebaniah, Hodiiah, Kelita, Pelaiah, Hanun,

Dan saudara-saudara mereka, yakni: Sebanya, Hodia, Kelita, Pelaya, Hanan,

11 Micha, Rehob, Hashabiah,

Mikha, Rehob, Hasabya,

12 Zaccur, Sherebiah, Shebaniah,

Zakur, Serebya, Sebanya,

13 Hodiah, Bani, Beninu.

Hodia, Bani dan Beninu.

14 The chiefe of the people were Parosh, Pahath Moab, Elam, Zattu, Bani,

Dan dari pemimpin-pemimpin bangsa: Paros, Pahat-Moab, Elam, Zatu, Bani,

15 Bunni, Azgad, Bebai,

Buni, Azgad, Bebai,

16 Adoniah, Biguai, Adin,

Adonia, Bigwai, Adin,

17 Ater, Hizkiiah, Azzur,

Ater, Hizkia, Azur,

18 Hodiah, Hashum, Bezai,

Hodia, Hasum, Bezai,

19 Hariph, Anathoth, Nebai,

Harif, Anatot, Nebai,

20 Magpiash, Meshullam, Hezir,

Magpias, Mesulam, Hezir,

21 Meshezabeel, Zadok, Iaddua,

Mesezabeel, Zadok, Yadua,

22 Pelatiah, Hanan, Anaiah,

Pelaca, Hanan, Anaya,

23 Hoshea, Hananiah, Hashub,

Hosea, Hananya, Hasub,

24 Hallohesh, Pileha, Shobek,

Halohesh, Pilha, Sobek,

25 Rehum, Hashabnah, Maaseiah,

Rehum, Hasabna, Maaseya,

26 And Ahiiah, Hanan, Anan,

Ahia, Hanan, Anan,

27 Malluch, Harim, Baanah.

Malukh, Harim dan Baana.

28 And the rest of the people, the Priestes, the Leuites, the porters, the singers, the Nethinims, and all that were separated from the people of the landes vnto the Lawe of God, their wiues, their sonnes, and their daughters, all that coulde vnderstande.

Dan orang-orang yang lain, yakni: para imam dan orang-orang Lewi, para penunggu pintu gerbang, para penyanyi, para budak di bait Allah dan segala orang yang memisahkan diri dari penduduk negeri untuk patuh kepada hukum Allah, serta isteri mereka, anak-anak lelaki dan anak-anak perempuan mereka, begitu juga semua orang yang cukup dewasa untuk mengerti,

29 The chiefe of them receiued it for their brethren, and they came to the curse and to the othe to walke in Gods Law, which was giuen by Moses the seruant of God, to obserue and doe all the commandements of the Lord our God, and his iudgements and his statutes:

menggabungkan diri dengan saudara-saudara mereka, yakni pemuka-pemuka mereka itu. Mereka bersumpah kutuk untuk hidup menurut hukum Allah yang diberikan dengan perantaraan Musa, hamba Allah itu, dan untuk tetap mengikuti dan melakukan segala perintah TUHAN, yakni Tuhan kami, serta segala peraturan dan ketetapan-Nya.

30 And that we would not giue our daughters to the people of the lande, neither take their daughters for our sonnes.

Pula kami tidak akan memberi anak-anak perempuan kami kepada penduduk negeri, ataupun mengambil anak-anak perempuan mereka bagi anak-anak lelaki kami.

31 And if the people of the lande brought ware on the Sabbath, or any vitailes to sell, that we would not take it of them on the Sabbath and on the holy dayes: and that we would let the seuenth yeere be free, and the debtes of euery person.

Dan bilamana penduduk negeri membawa barang-barang dan berbagai-bagai gandum untuk dijual pada hari Sabat, kami tidak akan membelinya dari mereka pada hari Sabat atau pada hari yang kudus. Dan kami akan membiarkan begitu saja hasil tanah pada tahun yang ketujuh dan tidak akan menagih sesuatu hutang.

32 And we made statutes for our selues to giue by the yeere the thirde part of a shekel for the seruice of the house of our God,

Pula kami mewajibkan diri untuk memberi tiap tahun sepertiga syikal untuk ibadah di rumah Allah kami, yakni:

33 For the shewbread, and for the daily offring, and for the daily burnt offring, the Sabbaths, the newe moones, for the solemne feastes, and for the thinges that were sanctified, and for the sinne offrings to make an atonement for Israel, and for all the worke of the house of our God.

untuk roti sajian, untuk korban sajian yang tetap, untuk korban bakaran yang tetap, untuk hari-hari Sabat, bulan-bulan baru dan masa raya yang tetap, untuk persembahan-persembahan kudus dan korban-korban penghapus dosa, untuk mengadakan pendamaian bagi orang Israel serta segala pekerjaan di rumah Allah kami.

34 We cast also lottes for the offering of the wood, euen the Priestes, the Leuites and the people to bring it into the house of our God, by the house of our fathers, yeerely at the times appointed, to burne it vpon the altar of the Lord our God, as it is written in the Lawe,

Pula dengan membuang undi kami, yakni para imam, orang-orang Lewi dan kaum awam, menetapkan suatu cara untuk menyediakan kayu api. Kayu itu harus dibawa ke rumah Allah kami secara bergilir oleh kaum-kaum keluarga kami pada waktu-waktu tertentu setiap tahun, supaya di atas mezbah TUHAN Allah kami ada api yang menyala, seperti tertulis dalam kitab Taurat.

35 And to bring the first fruites of our land, and the first of all the fruites of all trees, yeere by yeere, into the house of the Lord,

Lagipula setiap tahun kami akan membawa ke rumah TUHAN hasil yang pertama dari tanah kami dan buah sulung segala pohon.

36 And the first borne of our sonnes, and of our cattel, as it is written in the Lawe, and the first borne of our bullockes and of our sheepe, to bring it into the house of our God, vnto ye Priests that minister in the house of our God,

Pun kami akan membawa ke rumah Allah kami, yakni kepada para imam yang menyelenggarakan kebaktian di rumah Allah kami, anak-anak sulung kami dan anak-anak sulung ternak kami seperti tertulis dalam kitab Taurat, juga anak-anak sulung lembu kami dan kambing domba kami.

37 And that we should bring the first fruite of our dough, and our offrings, and the fruite of euery tree, of wine and of oyle, vnto the Priests, to the chambers of the house of our God: and the tithes of our lande vnto the Leuites, that the Leuites might haue the tithes in all the cities of our trauaile.

Dan tepung jelai kami yang mula-mula, dan persembahan-persembahan khusus kami, dan buah segala pohon, dan anggur dan minyak akan kami bawa kepada para imam, ke bilik-bilik rumah Allah kami, dan kepada orang-orang Lewi akan kami bawa persembahan persepuluhan dari tanah kami, karena orang-orang Lewi inilah yang memungut persembahan-perse persepuluhan di segala kota pertanian kami.

38 And the Priest, the sonne of Aaron shall be with the Leuites, when ye Leuites take tithes, and the Leuites shall bring vp the tenth parte of the tithes vnto the house of our God, vnto the chambers of the treasure house.

Seorang imam, anak Harun, akan menyertai orang-orang Lewi itu, bila mereka memungut persembahan persepuluhan. Dan orang-orang Lewi itu akan membawa persembahan persepuluhan dari pada persembahan persepuluhan itu ke rumah Allah kami, ke bilik-bilik rumah perbendaharaan.

39 For the children of Israel, and the children of Leui shall bring vp the offerings of the corne, of the wine, and of the oyle, vnto the chabers: and there shalbe the vessels of the Sanctuarie, and the Priestes that minister, and the porters, and the fingers, and we will not forsake the house of our God.

Karena orang Israel dan orang Lewi harus membawa persembahan khusus dari pada gandum, anggur dan minyak ke bilik-bilik itu. Di situ ada perkakas-perkakas tempat kudus, pula para imam yang menyelenggarakan kebaktian, para penunggu pintu gerbang dan para penyanyi. Kami tidak akan membiarkan rumah Allah kami.
