Micah 1
1 The word of the Lord, that came vnto Micah the Morashite in the dayes of Iotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah Kings of Iudah, which he sawe concerning Samaria, and Ierusalem.
Palabra de Yahvé que llegó a Miqueas, morastita, en los días de Joatam, Acaz y Ezequías, reyes de Judá, sobre las cosas que vio en orden a Samaria y Jerusalén.
2 Heare, al ye people: hearke thou, O earth, and all that therein is, and let the Lord God be witnes against you, euen ye Lord from his holy Teple.
¡Oíd, pueblos todos! ¡Atiende, oh tierra, y cuanto en ella se contiene! ¡Sea el Señor Yahvé testigo contra vosotros, el Señor desde su santo Templo!
3 For beholde, the Lord commeth out of his place, and will come downe, and tread vpon the hie places of the earth.
Pues he aquí que Yahvé va a salir de su morada, y bajará para hollar las alturas de la tierra.
4 And the mountaines shall melt vnder him (so shall the valleys cleaue) as waxe before the fire, and as the waters that are powred downewarde.
Debajo de Él se derriten los montes y se hienden los valles; son como la cera delante del fuego, como las aguas que se precipitan por un despeñadero
5 For the wickednes of Iaakob is all this, and for the sinnes of the house of Israel: what is the wickednes of Iaakob? Is not Samaria? and which are the hie places of Iudah? Is not Ierusalem?
Todo esto por la prevaricación de Jacob y por el pecado de la casa de Israel. ¿Cuál es la prevaricación de Jacob? ¿No es Samaria? ¿Y cuáles son los lugares altos de Judá? ¿No es Jerusalén?
6 Therefore I wil make Samaria as an heape of the fielde, and for the planting of a vineyard, and I will cause the stones thereof to tumble downe into the valley, and I will discouer the foundations thereof.
Haré de Samaria un montón de piedras en el campo, un lugar para plantar viñas; arrojaré sus piedras en el valle, y descubriré hasta sus cimientos.
7 And all the grauen images thereof shalbe broken, and all the giftes thereof shalbe burnt with the fire, and all the idoles thereof will I destroy: for she gathered it of the hire of an harlot, and they shall returne to the wages of an harlot.
Serán destrozadas todas sus estatuas, y quemadas todas sus ganancias de prostitución. Destruiré todos sus ídolos, porque lo que ella ha acumulado es salario de prostitución, y en salario de prostitución se convertirá.
8 Therefore I will mourne and howle: I wil goe without clothes, and naked: I will make lamentation like the dragons, and mourning as the ostriches.
A causa de esto me lamentaré y prorrumpiré en alaridos; andaré descalzo y desnudo; plañiré como los chacales, y gemiré como los avestruces.
9 For her plagues are grieuous: for it is come into Iudah: the enemie is come vnto the gate of my people, vnto Ierusalem.
Pues es irremediable la llaga de ella, puesto que ha penetrado en Judá; ha llegado hasta las puertas de mi pueblo, hasta Jerusalén.
10 Declare ye it not at Gath, neither weepe ye: for the house of Aphrah roule thy selfe in the dust.
No digáis nada en Gat; no vayáis a llorar en Acó; revolcaos en el polvo de Betrafa.
11 Thou that dwellest at Shaphir, go together naked with shame: she that dwelleth at Zaanan, shall not come forth in ye mourning of Beth-ezel: the enemie shall receiue of you for his standing.
¡Pasa tú, oh moradora de Safir, en vergonzosa desnudez! No pueden salir los habitantes de Saanán; el llanto de Bet-Haesel os priva del apoyo de ellos.
12 For the inhabitant of Maroth wayted for good, but euill came from the Lord vnto the gate of Ierusalem.
La habitante de Marot espera salud, porque de Yahvé ha descendido el mal sobre la puerta de Jerusalén.
13 O thou inhabitant of Lachish, binde the charet to the beastes of price: she is the beginning of the sinne to the daughter of Zion: for the transgressions of Israel were found in thee.
¡Ata al carro el corcel, oh moradora de Laquís! Origen de pecado fue ella para la casa de Sión, pues en ti se han hallado las prevaricaciones de Israel.
14 Therefore shalt thou giue presents to Moresheth Gath: the houses of Achzib shalbe as a lye to the Kings of Israel.
Por tanto habrás de renunciar a Moréset-Gat; las casas de Acsib son para engaño de los reyes de Israel.
15 Yet will I bring an heire vnto thee, O inhabitant of Mareshah, he shall come vnto Adullam, the glorie of Israel.
También a ti enviaré un heredero, oh moradora de Maresá; la gloria de Israel se retirará a Odollam.
16 Make thee balde: and shaue thee for thy delicate children: enlarge thy baldenesse as the eagle, for they are gone into captiuity from thee.
Pélate la cabeza y ráete a causa de tus queridos hijos; ensancha tu calvez como el buitre; porque se han ido al cautiverio, lejos de ti.
