Micah 1
1 The word of the Lord, that came vnto Micah the Morashite in the dayes of Iotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah Kings of Iudah, which he sawe concerning Samaria, and Ierusalem.
LA parola del Signore, che fu [indirizzata] a Michea Morastita, a' dì di Giotam, di Achaz, [e] di Ezechia, re di Giuda, la quale gli fu rivelata in visione, contro a Samaria, e contro a Gerusalemme.
2 Heare, al ye people: hearke thou, O earth, and all that therein is, and let the Lord God be witnes against you, euen ye Lord from his holy Teple.
O POPOLI tutti, ascoltate; sii attenta, o terra, con tutto ciò ch'è in te; e il Signore Iddio sarà testimonio contro a voi; il Signore, [dico], dal Tempio della sua santità.
3 For beholde, the Lord commeth out of his place, and will come downe, and tread vpon the hie places of the earth.
Perciocchè, ecco, il Signore esce del suo luogo, e scenderà, e camminerà sopra gli alti luoghi della terra.
4 And the mountaines shall melt vnder him (so shall the valleys cleaue) as waxe before the fire, and as the waters that are powred downewarde.
E i monti si struggeranno sotto lui, e le valli si schianteranno; come la cera [si strugge] al fuoco, come le acque si spandono per una pendice.
5 For the wickednes of Iaakob is all this, and for the sinnes of the house of Israel: what is the wickednes of Iaakob? Is not Samaria? and which are the hie places of Iudah? Is not Ierusalem?
Tutto questo [avverrà] per lo misfatto di Giacobbe, e per li peccati della casa d'Israele. Quale [è] il misfatto di Giacobbe? non [è] egli Samaria? E [quali sono] gli alti luoghi di Giuda? non [sono] eglino Gerusalemme?
6 Therefore I wil make Samaria as an heape of the fielde, and for the planting of a vineyard, and I will cause the stones thereof to tumble downe into the valley, and I will discouer the foundations thereof.
Perciò, io ridurrò Samaria in un luogo desolato di campagna da piantar vigne; e verserò le sue pietre nella valle, e scoprirò i suoi fondamenti.
7 And all the grauen images thereof shalbe broken, and all the giftes thereof shalbe burnt with the fire, and all the idoles thereof will I destroy: for she gathered it of the hire of an harlot, and they shall returne to the wages of an harlot.
E tutte le sue sculture saranno tritate, e tutti i suoi premii di fornicazioni saranno arsi col fuoco, ed io metterò in desolazione tutti i suoi idoli; perciocchè ella ha adunate [quelle cose] di prezzo di meretrice, torneranno altresì [ad esser] prezzo di meretrice.
8 Therefore I will mourne and howle: I wil goe without clothes, and naked: I will make lamentation like the dragons, and mourning as the ostriches.
Perciò, io lamenterò, ed urlerò; io andrò spogliato e nudo; io farò un lamento, [gridando] come gli sciacalli; e un cordoglio, [urlando] come l'ulule.
9 For her plagues are grieuous: for it is come into Iudah: the enemie is come vnto the gate of my people, vnto Ierusalem.
Perciocchè le piaghe di essa [sono] insanabili; perciocchè son pervenute fino a Giuda, son giunte fino alla porta del mio popolo, fino a Gerusalemme.
10 Declare ye it not at Gath, neither weepe ye: for the house of Aphrah roule thy selfe in the dust.
Non l'annunziate in Gat, non piangete punto; io mi son voltolato nella polvere a Bet-Leafra.
11 Thou that dwellest at Shaphir, go together naked with shame: she that dwelleth at Zaanan, shall not come forth in ye mourning of Beth-ezel: the enemie shall receiue of you for his standing.
Passatene, o abitatrice di Safir, con le vergogne nude; l'abitatrice di Saanan non è uscita; la casa di Bet-haesel [è piena di] lamento; egli ha tolta da voi la sua difesa.
12 For the inhabitant of Maroth wayted for good, but euill came from the Lord vnto the gate of Ierusalem.
Perciocchè l'abitatrice di Marot è dolente per li [suoi] beni; perciocchè il male è sceso da parte del Signore, fino alla porta di Gerusalemme.
13 O thou inhabitant of Lachish, binde the charet to the beastes of price: she is the beginning of the sinne to the daughter of Zion: for the transgressions of Israel were found in thee.
Metti i corsieri al carro, o abitatrice di Lachis; ella [è stata] il principio di peccato alla figliuola di Sion; conciossiachè in te si sieno trovati i misfatti d'Israele.
14 Therefore shalt thou giue presents to Moresheth Gath: the houses of Achzib shalbe as a lye to the Kings of Israel.
Perciò, manda pur presenti a Moreset-Gat; le case di Aczib [saranno] fallaci ai re d'Israele.
15 Yet will I bring an heire vnto thee, O inhabitant of Mareshah, he shall come vnto Adullam, the glorie of Israel.
Ancora ti addurrò un erede, o abitatrice di Maresa; egli perverrà fino ad Adullam, [fino alla] gloria d'Israele.
16 Make thee balde: and shaue thee for thy delicate children: enlarge thy baldenesse as the eagle, for they are gone into captiuity from thee.
Dipelati, e tosati, per li figliuoli delle tue delizie; allarga la tua calvezza, come un'aquila; perciocchè quelli sono stati menati via da te in cattività.
