Micah 7
1 Woe is me, for I am as the sommer gatherings, and as the grapes of the vintage: there is no cluster to eate: my soule desired the first ripe fruites.
Wehe mir, denn es geht mir wie denen, welche Obst einsammeln, welche im Herbst Nachlese halten: Keine Traube mehr gibt es zu essen, keine Frühfeige, nach welcher doch meine Seele verlangt!
2 The good man is perished out of the earth, and there is none righteous among men: they all lye in wayte for blood: euery man hunteth his brother with a net.
Der Fromme ist aus dem Lande verschwunden, und es ist kein Redlicher mehr unter den Menschen. Sie lauern alle auf Blut, einer legt dem andern Schlingen.
3 To make good for the euil of their hands, the prince asked, and the iudge iudgeth for a reward: therefore the great man he speaketh out the corruption of his soule: so they wrapt it vp.
Zum Bösen brauchen sie beide Hände, um es ja recht gut zu machen; der Fürst fordert, und dem Richter ist es um den Lohn zu tun; der Große sagt, wie er es haben will, und darnach drehen sie's!
4 The best of them is as a brier, and the most righteous of them is sharper then a thorne hedge: the day of thy watchmen and thy visitation commeth: then shalbe their confusion.
Der Beste von ihnen ist wie ein Dorn, der Redlichste schlimmer als eine Dornhecke. Der Tag deiner Wächter, deiner Heimsuchung, ist da; jetzt wird ihre Bestürzung kommen!
5 Trust ye not in a friend, neither put ye confidence in a counseller: keepe the doores of thy mouth from her that lyeth in thy bosome.
Verlasset euch nicht auf den Nächsten, vertrauet dem Verwandten nicht, bewahre die Pforte deines Mundes vor der, die in deinen Armen liegt!
6 For the sonne reuileth the father: ye daughter riseth vp against her mother: the daughter in lawe against her mother in lawe, and a mans enemies are the men of his owne house.
Denn der Sohn verachtet den Vater, die Tochter erhebt sich wider die Mutter, die Sohnsfrau wider ihre Schwieger; des Menschen Feinde sind seine Hausgenossen!
7 Therefore I will looke vnto the Lord: I will waite for God my Sauiour: my God will heare me.
Ich aber will nach dem HERRN ausschauen, will harren auf den Gott meines Heils; mein Gott wird mich hören.
8 Reioyce not against me, O mine enemie: though I fall, I shall arise: when I shall sit in darkenesse, the Lord shalbe a light vnto me.
Freue dich nicht über mich, meine Feindin, denn ob ich auch gefallen bin, so stehe ich wieder auf; ob ich auch in der Finsternis sitze, so ist doch der HERR mein Licht!
9 I will beare the wrath of the Lord because I haue sinned against him, vntill he pleade my cause, and execute iudgement for me: then will he bring me foorth to the light, and I shall see his righteousnesse.
Des HERRN Zorn will ich tragen (denn ich habe wider ihn gesündigt), bis er meine Sache ausführt und mir Recht schafft; er wird mich ans Licht herausführen, daß ich mit Lust seine Gerechtigkeit schaue.
10 Then she that is mine enemie, shall looke vpon it, and shame shall couer her, which said vnto me, Where is the Lord thy God? Mine eyes shall behold her: now shall she be troden downe as the myre of the streetes.
Wenn meine Feindin das sieht, wird Schamröte sie bedecken, sie, die zu mir sagt: «Wo ist der HERR, dein Gott?» Meine Augen werden es mitansehen, nun wird sie zertreten werden wie Kot auf der Gasse.
11 This is ye day, that thy walles shalbe built: this day shall driue farre away the decree.
Am Tage, da man deine Mauern baut, an dem Tage wird deine Grenze weit werden.
12 In this day also they shall come vnto thee from Asshur, and from the strong cities, and from the strong holdes euen vnto the riuer, and from Sea to Sea, and from mountaine to mountaine.
An jenem Tage wird man zu dir kommen von Assur und von den Städten Ägyptens und von Ägypten bis zum Euphratstrom, von Meer zu Meer und von Berg zu Berg.
13 Notwithstanding, the lande shall be desolate because of them that dwell therein, and for the fruites of their inuentions.
Aber die Erde wird zur Wüste werden um ihrer Bewohner willen, infolge ihrer Übeltaten.
14 Feed thy people with thy rod, the flocke of thine heritage (which dwell solitarie in the wood) as in the middes of Carmel: let them feede in Bashan and Gilead, as in olde time.
Weide dein Volk mit deinem Stabe, die Schafe deines Erbteils, welche abgesondert wohnen im Walde, mitten auf dem Karmel; laß sie in Basan und Gilead weiden wie in uralter Zeit!
15 According to the dayes of thy comming out of the lande of Egypt, will I shewe vnto him marueilous things.
Ich will sie Wunder sehen lassen wie zu der Zeit, als du aus Ägypten zogst!
16 The nations shall see, and be confounded for all their power: they shall lay their hande vpon their mouth: their eares shall be deafe.
Die Heiden werden es sehen und zuschanden werden trotz aller ihrer Macht; sie werden ihre Hand auf den Mund legen, und ihre Ohren werden taub sein.
17 They shall licke the dust like a serpent: they shall mooue out of their holes like wormes: they shalbe afraide of the Lord our God, and shall feare because of thee.
Sie werden Staub lecken wie die Schlangen, wie Erdenwürmer zitternd aus ihren Löchern hervorkriechen; angstvoll werden sie zu dem HERRN, unserm Gott, nahen und sich fürchten vor dir.
18 Who is a God like vnto thee, that taketh away iniquitie, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage! He reteineth not his wrath for euer, because mercie pleaseth him.
Wer ist, o Gott, wie du, der die Sünde vergibt und dem Rest seines Erbteils die Übertretung erläßt, der seinen Zorn nicht allzeit festhält, sondern Lust an der Gnade hat?
19 He will turne againe, and haue compassion vpon vs: he will subdue our iniquities, and cast all their sinnes into the bottome of the sea.
Er wird sich unser wieder erbarmen, unsere Bosheit bezwingen. Und du wirst alle ihre Sünden in die Tiefe des Meeres werfen!
20 Thou wilt perfourme thy trueth to Iaakob, and mercie to Abraham, as thou hast sworne vnto our fathers in olde time.
Du wirst Jakob treulich geben und Abraham gnädig halten, was du unsern Vätern vorlängst geschworen hast.
