< Matthew 7 >

1 Judge not, that ye be not iudged.
“Unu ekpela ndị ọzọ ikpe, ka a ghara ikpekwa unu ikpe.
2 Eor with what iudgement ye iudge, ye shall be iudged, and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you againe.
Nʼihi na a ga-ekpe unu ikpe dịka unu si kpee ndị ọzọ. Ọ bụkwa ihe unu ji tụọrọ ndị ọzọ ka a ga-eji tụọrọ unu.
3 And why seest thou the mote, that is in thy brothers eye, and perceiuest not the beame that is in thine owne eye?
“Gịnị mere i ji elee ntakịrị ahịhịa dị nwanna gịnʼanya ma ị dịghị ahụta obodobo osisi dị gị onwe gị nʼanya?
4 Or howe sayest thou to thy brother, Suffer me to cast out the mote out of thine eye, and beholde, a beame is in thine owne eye?
Olee otu ị ga-esi gwa ya si, ‘Nwanna m, kwere ka m tụpụ gị ntakịrị ahịhịa danyere gị nʼanya,’ mgbe obodobo osisi dị gị nʼanya, nke na-adịghị ekwe gị hụzie ụzọ.
5 Hypocrite, first cast out that beame out of thine owne eye, and then shalt thou see clearely to cast out the mote out of thy brothers eye.
Onye ihu abụọ! Buru ụzọ wepụ obodobo osisi dị gị nʼanya ka i nwee ike ịhụzi ụzọ tụpụ ntakịrị ahịhịa nke dị nwanna gị nʼanya.
6 Giue ye not that which is holy, to dogges, neither cast ye your pearles before swine, lest they treade them vnder their feete, and turning againe, all to rent you.
“Enyela nkịta ihe dị nsọ. Enyekwala ezi ihe dị oke ọnụahịa. Ha ga-azọtọ ha ma tụgharịakwa dọrie gị.
7 Aske, and it shall be giuen you: seeke, and ye shall finde: knocke, and it shall be opened vnto you.
“Na-arịọnụ, unu ga-arịọta, na-achọnụ, unu ga-achọta, kụọkwanụ aka nʼụzọ, a ga-emeghekwara unu ụzọ.
8 For whosoeuer asketh, receiueth: and he, that seeketh, findeth: and to him that knocketh, it shall be opened.
Nʼihi na onye na-arịọ, na-arịọta. Onye na-achọ, na-achọta. Onye na-akụ aka nʼụzọ ka a ga-emeghekwara ụzọ.
9 For what man is there among you, which if his sonne aske him bread, woulde giue him a stone?
“Ọ dị onye nʼime unu, ma ọ bụrụ na nwa ya arịọọ ya achịcha, ga-enye ya okwute?
10 Or if he aske fish, wil he giue him a serpent?
Maọbụ, nwata ahụ arịọọ azụ, o nye ya agwọ?
11 If ye then, which are euill, can giue to your children good giftes, howe much more shall your Father which is in heauen, giue good thinges to them that aske him?
Ya mere, ebe unu ndị ọjọọ maara otu e si enye ụmụ unu ezi onyinye, Nna unu bi nʼeluigwe ọ gaghị enye unu karịa, ma ọ bụrụ na unu arịọọ ya!
12 Therefore whatsoeuer ye woulde that men should doe to you, euen so doe ye to them: for this is the Lawe and the Prophets.
Ya mere, nʼime ihe niile, na-emeso ndị mmadụ dị ka i si chọọ ka ha mesoo gị. Nke a bụ nchịkọta ihe iwu na ndị amụma ziri.
13 Enter in at the streight gate: for it is the wide gate, and broade way that leadeth to destruction: and many there be which goe in thereat,
“Sitenụ nʼọnụ ụzọ dị warawara banye. Nʼihi na ọnụ ụzọ ahụ dị obosara. Mbara ka ụzọ ahụ dịkwa na-eduba nʼịla nʼiyi. Ọtụtụ na-esoro ya.
14 Because the gate is streight, and the way narowe that leadeth vnto life, and fewe there be that finde it.
Ole na ole na-achọta ụzọ ahụ na-eduba na ndụ, nʼihi na ọ dị warawara, dịkwa nkpagide.
15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you, in sheepes clothing, but inwardly they are rauening wolues.
“Kpachapụnụ anya! Nʼihi na ndị amụma ụgha dị. Ha na-abịakwute unu nʼụdịdị atụrụ, ma ha bụ agụ.
16 Ye shall know them by their fruites. Doe men gather grapes of thornes? or figges of thistles?
A ga-esite na mkpụrụha mata ndị ha bụ. Ndị mmadụ ọ na-esite nʼosisi ogwu dị nʼọhịa ghọta mkpụrụ osisi grepu, ka ha na-esite nʼosisi uke gbara nʼọhịa ghọta mkpụrụ fiig?
17 So euery good tree bringeth foorth good fruite, and a corrupt tree bringeth forth euill fruite.
Nʼụzọ dị otu a, osisi ọbụla dị mma na-amịpụta mkpụrụ ọma, ma osisi dị njọ na-amịpụta mkpụrụ dị njọ.
18 A good tree can not bring forth euil fruite: neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruite.
Osisi na-amị mkpụrụ ọma adịghị amị mkpụrụ ọjọọ. Nke na-amị mkpụrụ ọjọọ adịghịkwa amị mkpụrụ ọma.
19 Euery tree that bringeth not forth good fruite, is hewen downe, and cast into the fire.
Ma osisi ọbụla na-amịghị mkpụrụ ọma ka a ga-egbutu tụnye ya nʼọkụ.
20 Therefore by their fruites ye shall knowe them.
Ụzọ e si amata osisi ọma bụ site na mkpụrụ ya.
21 Not euery one that sayeth vnto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdome of heauen, but he that doeth my Fathers will which is in heauen.
“Ọ bụghị ndị niile na-asị m ‘Onyenwe anyị, Onyenwe anyị,’ ga-abanye nʼalaeze eluigwe, kama ọ bụ naanị ndị ahụ na-eme ihe Nna m nọ nʼeluigwe na-achọ ka ha mee.
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, haue we not by thy Name prophecied? and by thy name cast out deuils? and by thy name done many great workes?
Nʼụbọchị ahụ, ọtụtụ ndị mmadụ ga-asị m, ‘Onyenwe anyị, Onyenwe anyị, ọ bụ na anyị ejighị aha gị buo amụma, jiri aha gị chụpụ mmụọ ọjọọ, ma jirikwa aha gị ruo ọtụtụ ọrụ ebube?’
23 And then will I professe to them, I neuer knewe you: depart from me, ye that worke iniquitie.
Mgbe ahụ aga m agwa ha hoohaa sị ha, ‘Amaghị m unu, sitenụ nʼihu m pụọ, unu ndị ajọ omume!’
24 Whosoeuer then heareth of mee these words, and doeth the same, I will liken him to a wise man, which hath builded his house on a rock:
“Onye ọbụla ṅara ntị nʼokwu ndị a m kwuru, ma meekwa ha, dị ka nwoke ahụ maara ihe, onye wuru ụlọ ya nʼelu oke nkume.
25 And the raine fell, and the floods came, and the windes blewe, and beat vpon that house, and it fell not: for it was grounded on a rocke.
Mmiri zosikwara ike nʼelu ụlọ ahụ, idee mmiri sọkwara, tie nʼụlọ ahụ. Ifufe siri ike fekwara, ma ụlọ ahụ adaghị. Nʼihi na e wuru ntọala ya nʼelu oke nkume.
26 But whosoeuer heareth these my wordes, and doeth them not, shall be likened vnto a foolish man, which hath builded his house vpon the sand:
Ma ndị niile nụrụ okwu ndị a, ma lefuru ha anya, bụ ndị nzuzu. Ha dị ka nwoke wuru ụlọ ya nʼelu aja.
27 And the raine fell, and the floods came, and the windes blewe, and beat vpon that house, and it fell, and the fall thereof was great.
Ngwangwa mmiri zoro, idee mmiri sọkwara, ifufe fesikwara ike tie nʼụlọ ahụ, ụlọ ahụ dara daruo ala. Ọdịda ya dị ukwuu.”
28 And it came to passe, when Iesus had ended these wordes, the people were astonied at his doctrine.
Mgbe Jisọs kwuchara okwu ndị a, ozizi ya juru igwe mmadụ ahụ niile anya.
29 For he taught them as one hauing authoritie, and not as the Scribes.
Nʼihi na o ziri ihe dịka onye nwere ikike. Ọ bụghị dị ka ndị ozizi iwu ha.
