Matthew 6
1 Take heede that ye giue not your almes before men, to be seene of them, or els ye shall haue no reward of your Father which is in heaue.
ଲୋକ ଦେଖାଇବା ପାଇଁ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ଯେପରି ଧର୍ମକର୍ମ ନ କର, ଏଥିପାଇଁ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସାବଧାନ ହୋଇଥାଅ, ନୋହିଲେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସ୍ୱର୍ଗସ୍ଥ ପିତାଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ପୁରସ୍କାର ନାହିଁ।
2 Therefore when thou giuest thine almes, thou shalt not make a trumpet to be blowen before thee, as the hypocrites doe in the Synagogues and in the streetes, to be praysed of men. Verely I say vnto you, they haue their rewarde.
ଏଣୁ ଦାନ କରିବା ସମୟରେ କପଟୀମାନଙ୍କ ପରି ନିଜ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ତୂରୀ ବଜାଅ ନାହିଁ; ସେମାନେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଗୌରବ ପାଇବା ପାଇଁ ସମାଜଗୃହରେ ଓ ଦାଣ୍ଡରେ ସେପ୍ରକାର କରନ୍ତି। ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ସତ୍ୟ କହୁଅଛି, ସେମାନେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ପୁରସ୍କାର ପାଇଅଛନ୍ତି।
3 But when thou doest thine almes, let not thy left hand knowe what thy right hand doeth,
କିନ୍ତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଦାନ କରିବା ସମୟରେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ହସ୍ତ କଅଣ କରୁଅଛି ତାହା ତୁମ୍ଭର ବାମ ହସ୍ତ ନ ଜାଣୁ,
4 That thine almes may be in secret, and thy Father that seeth in secret, hee will rewarde thee openly.
ଯେପରି ତୁମ୍ଭର ଦାନ ଗୋପନରେ ହେବ, ଆଉ ତୁମ୍ଭର ପିତା ଯେ ଗୋପନରେ ଦେଖନ୍ତି, ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଫଳ ଦେବେ।
5 And when thou prayest, be not as the hypocrites: for they loue to stand, and pray in the Synagogues, and in the corners of the streetes, because they would be seene of men. Verely I say vnto you, they haue their rewarde.
ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରିବା ସମୟରେ କପଟୀମାନଙ୍କ ପରି ହୁଅ ନାହିଁ, କାରଣ ସେମାନେ ଲୋକ ଦେଖାଇବା ପାଇଁ ସମାଜଗୃହ ଓ ଛକକୋଣରେ ଠିଆ ହୋଇ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରିବାକୁ ଭଲ ପାଆନ୍ତି; ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ସତ୍ୟ କହୁଅଛି, ସେମାନେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ପୁରସ୍କାର ପାଇଅଛନ୍ତି।
6 But when thou prayest, enter into thy chamber and when thou hast shut thy doore, pray vnto thy Father which is in secret, and thy Father which seeth in secret, shall rewarde thee openly.
କିନ୍ତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରିବା ସମୟରେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଗୁପ୍ତ କୋଠରୀରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କର, ପୁଣି, ତୁମ୍ଭର ଦ୍ୱାର ବନ୍ଦ କରି ଗୋପନରେ ଥିବା ତୁମ୍ଭ ପିତାଙ୍କ ଛାମୁରେ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କର; ଆଉ ତୁମ୍ଭର ପିତା ଯେ ଗୋପନରେ ଦେଖନ୍ତି, ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଫଳ ଦେବେ।
7 Also when ye pray, vse no vaine repetitions as the Heathen: for they thinke to be heard for their much babbling.
ପୁଣି, ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରିବା ସମୟରେ ଅଣଯିହୁଦୀମାନଙ୍କ ପରି ଅନାବଶ୍ୟକ ପୁନରୁକ୍ତି କର ନାହିଁ, କାରଣ ସେମାନେ ବହୁତ କଥା କହିବାରୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା ଶୁଣାଯିବ ବୋଲି ମନେ କରନ୍ତି।
8 Be ye not like them therefore: for your Father knoweth whereof ye haue neede, before ye aske of him.
ଏଣୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପରି ହୁଅ ନାହିଁ, କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର କଅଣ ପ୍ରୟୋଜନ, ମାଗିବା ପୂର୍ବରୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ପିତା ଈଶ୍ବର ତାହା ଜାଣନ୍ତି।
9 After this maner therefore pray ye, Our father which art in heauen, halowed be thy name.
ଅତଏବ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଏହି ପ୍ରକାରେ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କର, ‘ହେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସ୍ୱର୍ଗସ୍ଥ ପିତା, ତୁମ୍ଭ ନାମ ପବିତ୍ର ବୋଲି ମାନ୍ୟ ହେଉ।
10 Thy Kingdome come. Thy will be done euen in earth, as it is in heauen.
ତୁମ୍ଭର ରାଜ୍ୟ ଆସୁ। ଯେପରି ସ୍ୱର୍ଗରେ, ସେହିପରି ପୃଥିବୀରେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଇଚ୍ଛା ସଫଳ ହେଉ।
11 Giue vs this day our dayly bread.
ଆଜି ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରୟୋଜନୀୟ ଆହାର ଦିଅ।
12 And forgiue vs our dettes, as we also forgiue our detters.
ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଯେପରି ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ଅପରାଧୀମାନଙ୍କୁ କ୍ଷମା କରିଅଛୁ, ସେପରି ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଅପରାଧସବୁ କ୍ଷମା କର।
13 And leade vs not into tentation, but deliuer vs from euill: for thine is the kingdome, and the power, and the glorie for euer. Amen.
ପରୀକ୍ଷାରେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆଣ ନାହିଁ, ମାତ୍ର ମନ୍ଦରୁ ରକ୍ଷା କର। [ଯେଣୁ ରାଜ୍ୟ, ପରାକ୍ରମ ଓ ଗୌରବ ଯୁଗେ ଯୁଗେ ତୁମ୍ଭର। ଆମେନ୍।]’
14 For if ye doe forgiue men their trespasses, your heauenly Father will also forgiue you.
କାରଣ ଯେବେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ଅପରାଧସବୁ କ୍ଷମା କର, ତେବେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସ୍ୱର୍ଗସ୍ଥ ପିତା ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ମଧ୍ୟ କ୍ଷମା କରିବେ;
15 But if ye do not forgiue men their trespasses, no more will your father forgiue you your trespaces.
କିନ୍ତୁ ଯେବେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ କ୍ଷମା ନ କର, ତେବେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପିତା ମଧ୍ୟ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଅପରାଧସବୁ କ୍ଷମା କରିବେ ନାହିଁ।
16 Moreouer, when ye fast, looke not sowre as the hypocrites: for they disfigure their faces, that they might seeme vnto men to fast. Verely I say vnto you, that they haue their rewarde.
ଉପବାସ କରିବା ସମୟରେ କପଟୀମାନଙ୍କ ପରି ବିଷର୍ଣ୍ଣବଦନ ହୁଅ ନାହିଁ, କାରଣ ସେମାନେ ଉପବାସ କରୁଅଛନ୍ତି ବୋଲି ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ଆଗରେ ଦେଖାଇବା ପାଇଁ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ମୁଖ ମଳିନ କରନ୍ତି; ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ସତ୍ୟ କହୁଅଛି, ସେମାନେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ପୁରସ୍କାର ପାଇଅଛନ୍ତି।
17 But when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face,
କିନ୍ତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଉପବାସ କରିବା ସମୟରେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ମସ୍ତକରେ ତୈଳ ଲଗାଅ ଓ ମୁଖ ପ୍ରକ୍ଷାଳନ କର,
18 That thou seeme not vnto men to fast, but vnto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret, will rewarde thee openly.
ଯେପରି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଉପବାସ କରୁଅଛ ବୋଲି ଲୋକଙ୍କ ସାକ୍ଷାତରେ ଦେଖା ନ ଯାଇ ବରଂ ଗୋପନରେ ଥିବା ତୁମ୍ଭ ପିତାଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ଦେଖାଯିବ; ଆଉ ତୁମ୍ଭର ପିତା ଯେ ଗୋପନରେ ଦେଖନ୍ତି, ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଫଳ ଦେବେ।
19 Lay not vp treasures for your selues vpon the earth, where the mothe and canker corrupt, and where theeues digge through and steale.
ଯେଉଁଠାରେ କୀଟ ଓ କଳଙ୍କ କ୍ଷୟ କରେ ପୁଣି, ଚୋରମାନେ ସିନ୍ଧି କାଟି ଚୋରି କରନ୍ତି, ଏପରି ପୃଥିବୀରେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଧନ ସଞ୍ଚୟ କର ନାହିଁ;
20 But lay vp treasures for your selues in heauen, where neither the mothe nor canker corrupteth, and where theeues neither digge through, nor steale.
ମାତ୍ର ଯେଉଁଠାରେ କୀଟ ଓ କଳଙ୍କ ନଷ୍ଟ ନ କରେ ଏବଂ ଚୋରମାନେ ସିନ୍ଧି କାଟି ଚୋରି ନ କରନ୍ତି, ଏପରି ସ୍ୱର୍ଗରେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଧନ ସଞ୍ଚୟ କର,
21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
କାରଣ ଯେଉଁଠାରେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଧନ, ସେହିଠାରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ତୁମ୍ଭର ମନ।
22 The light of the body is the eye: if then thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be light.
ଚକ୍ଷୁ ଶରୀରର ପ୍ରଦୀପ। ଏଣୁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଚକ୍ଷୁ ଯେବେ ନିର୍ମଳ ଥାଏ, ତେବେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ସମସ୍ତ ଶରୀର ଆଲୋକମୟ ହେବ।
23 But if thine eye be wicked, then all thy body shalbe darke. Wherefore if the light that is in thee, be darkenes, howe great is that darkenesse?
କିନ୍ତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଚକ୍ଷୁ ଯେବେ ଦୂଷିତ ଥାଏ, ତେବେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ସମସ୍ତ ଶରୀର ଅନ୍ଧକାରମୟ ହେବ। ଅତଏବ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଅନ୍ତରସ୍ଥ ଜ୍ୟୋତିଃ ଯେବେ ଅନ୍ଧକାର ହୁଏ, ତେବେ ସେ ଅନ୍ଧକାର କେଡ଼େ ଘୋରତର!
24 No man can serue two masters: for eyther he shall hate the one, and loue the other, or els he shall leane to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serue God and riches.
କୌଣସି ଲୋକ ଦୁଇ ପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ଦାସ ହୋଇପାରେ ନାହିଁ; କାରଣ ସେ ଜଣଙ୍କୁ ଘୃଣା କରିବ ଓ ଅନ୍ୟ ଜଣକୁ ପ୍ରେମ କରିବ, ଅଥବା ଜଣଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଅନୁରକ୍ତ ହେବ ଓ ଅନ୍ୟ ଜଣଙ୍କୁ ଅବଜ୍ଞା କରିବ। ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଈଶ୍ବର ଓ ଧନ ଉଭୟର ଦାସ ହୋଇପାର ନାହିଁ।
25 Therefore I say vnto you, be not carefull for your life, what ye shall eate, or what ye shall drinke: nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more worth then meate? and the bodie then raiment?
ଏଥିନିମନ୍ତେ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ କହୁଅଛି, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଜୀବନ ନିମନ୍ତେ କଅଣ ଖାଇବ ବା କଅଣ ପିଇବ, କିଅବା କଅଣ ପିନ୍ଧିବ, ଏଭଳି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଶରୀର ନିମନ୍ତେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଚିନ୍ତା କର ନାହିଁ। ଖାଦ୍ୟ ଅପେକ୍ଷା ଜୀବନ ଓ ବସ୍ତ୍ର ଅପେକ୍ଷା ଶରୀର କି ଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠ ନୁହେଁ?
26 Behold the foules of the heauen: for they sowe not, neither reape, nor carie into the barnes: yet your heauenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better then they?
ଆକାଶର ପକ୍ଷୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦେଖ, ସେମାନେ ବୁଣନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ କି କାଟନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ କିଅବା ଅମାରରେ ସଞ୍ଚୟ କରନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ, ଆଉ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସ୍ୱର୍ଗସ୍ଥ ପିତା ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଖାଦ୍ୟ ଦିଅନ୍ତି। ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ କଅଣ ସେମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠ ନୁହଁ?
27 Which of you by taking care is able to adde one cubite vnto his stature?
ପୁଣି, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ କିଏ ଚିନ୍ତା କରି କରି ଆପଣା ଆୟୁଷର ଗୋଟିଏ ମୁହୂର୍ତ୍ତ ମଧ୍ୟ ବୃଦ୍ଧି କରିପାରେ?
28 And why care ye for raiment? Learne howe the lilies of the fielde doe growe: they are not wearied, neither spinne:
ଆଉ ବସ୍ତ୍ର ନିମନ୍ତେ କାହିଁକି ଚିନ୍ତା କରୁଅଛ? କ୍ଷେତ୍ରର ପୁଷ୍ପଗୁଡ଼ିକ ବିଷୟରେ ଭାବି ଶିକ୍ଷା ଗ୍ରହଣ କର, ସେଗୁଡ଼ିକ କିପରି ବଢ଼ନ୍ତି; ସେ ସବୁ ପରିଶ୍ରମ କରନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ, କିମ୍ବା ସୂତା କାଟନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ,
29 Yet I say vnto you, that euen Salomon in all his glorie was not arayed like one of these.
ତଥାପି ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ କହୁଅଛି, ଶଲୋମନ ସୁଦ୍ଧା ଆପଣାର ସମସ୍ତ ଐଶ୍ୱର୍ଯ୍ୟରେ ଏଗୁଡ଼ିକ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଗୋଟିକ ପରି ବିଭୂଷିତ ନ ଥିଲେ।
30 Wherefore if God so clothe the grasse of the fielde which is to day, and to morowe is cast into the ouen, shall he not doe much more vnto you, O ye of litle faith?
କିନ୍ତୁ କ୍ଷେତର ଯେଉଁ ଘାସ ଆଜି ଅଛି, ଆଉ କାଲି ଚୁଲିରେ ପକାଯାଏ, ତାହାକୁ ଯେବେ ଈଶ୍ବର ଏପ୍ରକାର ବେଶ ଦିଅନ୍ତି, ତେବେ, ହେ ଅଳ୍ପ ବିଶ୍ୱାସୀମାନେ, ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ କି ଅଧିକ ନିଶ୍ଚିତରୂପେ ବସ୍ତ୍ର ନ ଦେବେ?
31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eate? or what shall we drinke? or where with shall we be clothed?
ଏଣୁ କଅଣ ଖାଇବା? ଅବା କଅଣ ପିଇବା? କିଅବା କଅଣ ପିନ୍ଧିବା? ଏହା କହି ଚିନ୍ତିତ ହୁଅ ନାହିଁ।
32 (For after all these things seeke the Gentiles) for your heauenly Father knoweth, that ye haue neede of all these things.
କାରଣ ଅଣଯିହୁଦୀମାନେ ଏହିସବୁ ବିଷୟ ଖୋଜି ବୁଲନ୍ତି। ଆଉ ଏହି ସମସ୍ତ ବିଷୟ ଯେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଆବଶ୍ୟକ, ତାହା ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ସ୍ୱର୍ଗସ୍ଥ ପିତା ଜାଣନ୍ତି।
33 But seeke ye first the kingdome of God, and his righteousnesse, and all these things shall be ministred vnto you.
କିନ୍ତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ପ୍ରଥମରେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ରାଜ୍ୟ ଓ ଧାର୍ମିକତା ଅନ୍ୱେଷଣ କର, ଆଉ ଏହି ସମସ୍ତ ବିଷୟ ମଧ୍ୟ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦିଆଯିବ।
34 Care not then for the morowe: for the morowe shall care for it selfe: the day hath ynough with his owne griefe.
ଅତଏବ କାଲି ପାଇଁ ଚିନ୍ତିତ ହୁଅ ନାହିଁ, କାରଣ କାଲି ନିଜେ ନିଜ ପାଇଁ ଚିନ୍ତା କରିବ। ଆଜିର କଷ୍ଟ ଆଜି ପାଇଁ ଯଥେଷ୍ଟ।
