Matthew 25
1 Then the kingdome of heauen shalbe likened vnto tenne virgins, which tooke their lampes, and went foorth to meete the bridegrome.
Тоді Царство Небесне буде подібне до десяти дів, які взяли свої світильники й вийшли назустріч нареченому.
2 And fiue of them were wise, and fiue foolish.
П’ять із них були нерозумні, а п’ять – мудрі.
3 The foolish tooke their lampes, but tooke none oyle with them.
Нерозумні взяли світильники, але не взяли з собою олії.
4 But the wise tooke oyle in their vessels with their lampes.
А мудрі разом зі своїми світильниками взяли й олію в глечиках.
5 Nowe while the bridegrome taried long, all slumbred and slept.
Оскільки наречений запізнювався, усі задрімали й заснули.
6 And at midnight there was a crie made, Behold, the bridegrome commeth: goe out to meete him.
Опівночі пролунав крик: «Ось наречений іде! Виходьте йому назустріч!»
7 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lampes.
Тоді всі діви встали та приготували свої світильники.
8 And the foolish said to the wise, Giue vs of your oyle, for our lampes are out.
Нерозумні сказали мудрим: «Дайте і нам вашої олії, бо наші світильники гаснуть».
9 But the wise answered, saying, Not so, lest there will not be ynough for vs and you: but goe ye rather to them that sell, and bye for your selues.
А мудрі у відповідь сказали: «Не можемо, щоб і нам часом не забракло. Ідіть і купіть собі».
10 And while they went to bye, the bridegrome came: and they that were readie, went in with him to the wedding, and the gate was shut.
Коли вони пішли купувати, прийшов наречений. Ті, що були готові, увійшли разом із ним на весілля, і ворота зачинилися.
11 Afterwards came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to vs.
Потім повернулися й інші діви та сказали: «Господарю! Господарю! Відчини нам!»
12 But he answered, and said, Verely I say vnto you, I knowe you not.
Але він відповів: «Істинно кажу вам: я не знаю вас».
13 Watch therfore: for ye know neither the day, nor the houre, when the sonne of man will come.
Отже, пильнуйте, бо не знаєте ні дня, ні години, коли Син Людський прийде!
14 For the kingdome of heauen is as a man that going into a strange countrey, called his seruants, and deliuered to them his goods.
Подібно як чоловік, який, вирушивши в подорож, покликав своїх рабів і роздав їм своє майно.
15 And vnto one he gaue fiue talents, and to an other two, and to another one, to euery man after his own ability, and straightway went from home.
Одному дав п’ять талантів, другому – два, іншому – один, кожному за його здібностями, і відразу вирушив.
16 Then he that had receiued the fiue talents, went and occupied with them, and gained other fiue talents.
Той, що отримав п’ять талантів, негайно пішов, вклав їх у діло й заробив ще п’ять.
17 Likewise also, he that receiued two, he also gained other two.
Так само й той, що [отримав] два, заробив ще два.
18 But he that receiued that one, went and digged it in the earth, and hid his masters money.
А той, що отримав один, пішов і закопав у землю срібло свого господаря.
19 But after a long season, the master of those seruants came, and reckoned with them.
Коли минуло багато часу, господар тих рабів повернувся, щоб розрахуватися з ними.
20 Then came he that had receiued fiue talents, and brought other fiue talents, saying, Master, thou deliueredst vnto me fiue talents: behold, I haue gained with them other fiue talents.
Прийшов той, що отримав п’ять талантів, приніс інші п’ять талантів і сказав: «Господарю, ти мені доручив п’ять талантів, ось я заробив ще п’ять талантів».
21 Then his master saide vnto him, It is well done good seruant and faithfull, Thou hast bene faithfull in litle, I will make thee ruler ouer much: enter into thy masters ioy.
Господар сказав йому: «Добре, хороший та вірний рабе! У малому ти був вірний, над великим тебе поставлю. Увійди в радість твого господаря».
22 Also he that had receiued two talents, came, and said, Master, thou deliueredst vnto me two talents: behold, I haue gained two other talets more.
Прийшов той, що отримав два таланти, і сказав: «Господарю, ти мені доручив два таланти, ось я заробив ще два таланти».
23 His master saide vnto him, It is well done good seruant, and faithfull, Thou hast bene faithfull in litle, I will make thee ruler ouer much: enter into thy masters ioy.
Господар сказав йому: «Добре, хороший та вірний рабе! У малому ти був вірний, над великим тебе поставлю. Увійди в радість твого господаря».
24 Then he which had receiued the one talent, came, and said, Master, I knewe that thou wast an hard man, which reapest where thou sowedst not, and gatherest where thou strawedst not:
Прийшов і той, що отримав один талант, і сказав: «Господарю, я знав, що ти жорстока людина: жнеш там, де не сіяв, і збираєш там, де не розкидав.
25 I was therefore afraide, and went, and hid thy talent in the earth: behold, thou hast thine owne.
Я побоявся та пішов і сховав у землю твій талант. Ось твоє!»
26 And his master answered, and said vnto him, Thou euill seruant, and slouthfull, thou knewest that I reape where I sowed not, and gather where I strawed not.
Господар сказав йому: «Злий та лукавий рабе! Ти знав, що я жну там, де не сіяв, і збираю там, де не розкидав?»
27 Thou oughtest therefore to haue put my money to ye exchangers, and then at my comming should I haue receiued mine owne with vantage.
Тобі слід було вкласти моє срібло в банк, щоб я, повернувшись, отримав своє з прибутком.
28 Take therefore the talent from him, and giue it vnto him which hath tenne talents.
Заберіть від нього талант і віддайте тому, хто має десять талантів.
29 For vnto euery man that hath, it shall be giuen, and he shall haue abundance, and from him that hath not, euen that he hath, shalbe taken away.
Бо тому, хто має, додасться, і матиме надмірно, а від того, хто не має, і те, що має, забереться.
30 Cast therefore that vnprofitable seruant into vtter darkenes: there shalbe weeping and gnasshing of teeth.
А цього негідного раба викиньте в зовнішню темряву, там буде плач та скрегіт зубів.
31 And when the Sonne of man commeth in his glory, and all the holy Angels with him, then shall he sit vpon the throne of his glorie,
Коли ж прийде Син Людський у славі Своїй і всі ангели з Ним, тоді Він сяде на престолі Своєї слави.
32 And before him shalbe gathered all nations, and he shall seperate them one from another, as a shepheard separateth the sheepe from ye goates.
Усі народи зберуться перед Ним, і Він відділить одних від інших, як пастух відділяє овець від кіз.
33 And he shall set the sheepe on his right hand, and the goates on the left.
І поставить овець праворуч від Себе, а кіз – ліворуч.
34 Then shall ye king say to them on his right hand, Come ye blessed of my father: take the inheritance of the kingdome prepared for you from the foundation of the world.
Тоді Цар скаже тим, хто праворуч: «Прийдіть, благословенні Мого Отця, й отримайте Царство, яке було приготовлене вам від початку світу.
35 For I was an hungred, and ye gaue me meate: I thirsted, and ye gaue me drinke: I was a stranger, and ye tooke me in vnto you.
Бо коли Я голодував, ви дали Мені їсти; коли страждав від спраги, ви дали Мені пити; коли був чужинцем, ви прийняли Мене;
36 I was naked, and ye clothed me: I was sicke, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came vnto me.
коли був без одягу, ви одягли мене; коли був хворий, ви доглядали Мене; коли був у в’язниці, ви відвідали Мене».
37 Then shall the righteous answere him, saying, Lord, when sawe we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or a thirst, and gaue thee drinke?
Тоді праведні у відповідь скажуть Йому: «Господи, коли ми бачили Тебе голодним і нагодували, або спраглим і дали пити?
38 And when sawe we thee a stranger, and tooke thee in vnto vs? or naked, and clothed thee?
Коли ми бачили Тебе чужинцем і прийняли, або без одягу та одягли?
39 Or when sawe we thee sicke, or in prison, and came vnto thee?
Коли бачили хворим або у в’язниці й прийшли до Тебе?»
40 And the King shall answere, and say vnto them, Verely I say vnto you, in as much as ye haue done it vnto one of the least of these my brethre, ye haue done it to me.
Цар відповість їм: «Істинно кажу вам: усе, що ви зробили одному з цих найменших Моїх братів, ви зробили Мені».
41 Then shall he say vnto them on ye left hand, Depart from me ye cursed, into euerlasting fire, which is prepared for the deuill and his angels. (aiōnios g166)
Тоді скаже тим, хто ліворуч: «Ідіть від Мене, прокляті, у вогонь вічний, який був приготовлений для диявола та його ангелів. (aiōnios g166)
42 For I was an hungred, and ye gaue me no meate: I thirsted, and ye gaue me no drinke:
Бо коли Я голодував, ви не дали Мені їсти; страждав від спраги, а ви не дали Мені пити;
43 I was a stranger, and ye tooke me not in vnto you: I was naked, and ye clothed me not: sicke, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
коли був чужинцем, ви не прийняли Мене; коли був без одягу, ви не одягли Мене; коли був хворим і у в’язниці, ви не відвідали Мене».
44 Then shall they also answere him, saying, Lord, when sawe we thee an hungred, or a thirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sicke, or in prison, and did not minister vnto thee?
Тоді вони у відповідь скажуть: «Господи, коли ми бачили Тебе голодним, або спраглим, або чужинцем, або без одягу, або хворим, або у в’язниці й не послужили Тобі?»
45 Then shall he answere them, and say, Verely I say vnto you, in as much as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
Тоді Він відповість їм: «Істинно кажу вам: якщо ви не зробили це одному з цих найменших, то й Мені не зробили».
