< Matthew 25 >

1 Then the kingdome of heauen shalbe likened vnto tenne virgins, which tooke their lampes, and went foorth to meete the bridegrome.
“Ɔsoro Ahennie te sɛ mmabaawa edu bi a wɔfaa wɔn nkanea sɛ wɔrekɔhyia ayeforɔkunu.
2 And fiue of them were wise, and fiue foolish.
Na mmabaawa no mu baanum yɛ anyansafoɔ ɛnna baanum nso yɛ nkwaseafoɔ.
3 The foolish tooke their lampes, but tooke none oyle with them.
Wɔn mu nkwaseafoɔ no rekɔ no, wɔfaa wɔn nkanea nanso wɔamfa ngo anka ho.
4 But the wise tooke oyle in their vessels with their lampes.
Nanso, wɔn mu anyansafoɔ no deɛ, wɔrekorɔ no, wɔfaa ngo kaa wɔn nkanea ho de kɔeɛ.
5 Nowe while the bridegrome taried long, all slumbred and slept.
Ayeforɔkunu no amma ntɛm, enti wɔhyɛɛ aseɛ totɔɔ nko dedaeɛ.
6 And at midnight there was a crie made, Behold, the bridegrome commeth: goe out to meete him.
“Ɔdasuom na wɔtee nteateamu sɛ, ‘Ayeforɔkunu no reba! Momfiri adi nkɔhyia no!’
7 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lampes.
“Mmabaawa yi nyinaa sɔre buebuee wɔn nkanea no.
8 And the foolish said to the wise, Giue vs of your oyle, for our lampes are out.
Nkwaseafoɔ no srɛɛ anyansafoɔ no sɛ, ‘Momma yɛn mo ngo no bi ngu yɛn nkanea no mu na ɛredum.’
9 But the wise answered, saying, Not so, lest there will not be ynough for vs and you: but goe ye rather to them that sell, and bye for your selues.
“Anyansafoɔ no ka kyerɛɛ wɔn sɛ, ‘Krasin a yɛwɔ no sua. Monkɔ kurom nkɔtɔ bi.’
10 And while they went to bye, the bridegrome came: and they that were readie, went in with him to the wedding, and the gate was shut.
“Wɔrekɔtɔ ngo no pɛ, na ayeforɔkunu no baeɛ. Enti, wɔn a wɔasiesie wɔn ho no ne ayeforɔkunu no kɔɔ nʼapontoɔ no ase, na wɔtoo ɛpono no mu.
11 Afterwards came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to vs.
“Akyire yi a baanum no sane baeɛ no, wɔgyinaa ɛpono no akyi frɛɛ sɛ, ‘Owura, hini yɛn!’
12 But he answered, and said, Verely I say vnto you, I knowe you not.
“Nanso, ɔka kyerɛɛ wɔn sɛ, ‘Momfiri hɔ nkɔ. Mennim mo!’
13 Watch therfore: for ye know neither the day, nor the houre, when the sonne of man will come.
“Enti, monwɛn na monnim da anaa dɔn ko a mɛsane aba.
14 For the kingdome of heauen is as a man that going into a strange countrey, called his seruants, and deliuered to them his goods.
“Bio, Ɔsoro Ahennie te sɛ ɔbarima bi a ɔretu ɛkwan akɔ ɔman foforɔ bi so. Ɔrekɔ no, ɔfrɛɛ nʼapaafoɔ baasa, maa wɔn mu biara sika a ɛfata sɛ wɔmfa nyɛ adwuma.
15 And vnto one he gaue fiue talents, and to an other two, and to another one, to euery man after his own ability, and straightway went from home.
Ɔmaa ɔbaako dwetɛ kilogram ɔha aduɔson. Ɔmaa deɛ ɔdi hɔ no dwetɛ kilogram aduosia nnwɔtwe ɛnna ɔmaa deɛ ɔtwa toɔ no dwetɛ kilogram aduasa ɛnan.
16 Then he that had receiued the fiue talents, went and occupied with them, and gained other fiue talents.
Ɔpaani a ɔmaa no dwetɛ kilogram ɔha aduɔson no de sika no kɔdii dwa, nyaa mfasoɔ dwetɛ kilogram ɔha aduɔson kaa ho.
17 Likewise also, he that receiued two, he also gained other two.
Deɛ ɔnyaa dwetɛ kilogram aduosia nnwɔtwe no nso de sika no kɔyɛɛ adwuma nyaa mfasoɔ dwetɛ kilogram aduosia nnwɔtwe kaa ne sika no ho.
18 But he that receiued that one, went and digged it in the earth, and hid his masters money.
Nanso, ɔpaani a ne wura maa no dwetɛ kilogram aduasa ɛnan no deɛ, ɔkɔtuu fam de sika no siee hɔ.
19 But after a long season, the master of those seruants came, and reckoned with them.
“Mmerɛ bi akyi, wɔn wura no firi akwantuo mu baeɛ. Ɔfrɛɛ apaafoɔ baasa yi sɛ wɔmmɛbu nkonta nkyerɛ no.
20 Then came he that had receiued fiue talents, and brought other fiue talents, saying, Master, thou deliueredst vnto me fiue talents: behold, I haue gained with them other fiue talents.
21 Then his master saide vnto him, It is well done good seruant and faithfull, Thou hast bene faithfull in litle, I will make thee ruler ouer much: enter into thy masters ioy.
“Ne wura no ka kyerɛɛ no sɛ, ‘Mo, akoa pa ne nokwafoɔ, woadi kakra yi ho nokorɛ, mede wo bɛsi nneɛma pii so panin. Bra, na me ne wo nni dɛ!’
22 Also he that had receiued two talents, came, and said, Master, thou deliueredst vnto me two talents: behold, I haue gained two other talets more.
“Ɔpaani a ɔmaa no dwetɛ kilogram aduosia nnwɔtwe no nso baeɛ. Ɔka kyerɛɛ ne wura no sɛ, ‘Worekɔ no, womaa me dwetɛ kilogram aduosia nnwɔtwe. Mede yɛɛ adwuma, na manya dwetɛ kilogram aduosia nnwɔtwe aka ho.’
23 His master saide vnto him, It is well done good seruant, and faithfull, Thou hast bene faithfull in litle, I will make thee ruler ouer much: enter into thy masters ioy.
“Ne wura no ka kyerɛɛ no sɛ, ‘Mo, akoa pa ne nokwafoɔ, woadi kakra yi ho nokorɛ, mede wo bɛsi nneɛma pii so panin. Bra wo wura anigyeɛ mu!’
24 Then he which had receiued the one talent, came, and said, Master, I knewe that thou wast an hard man, which reapest where thou sowedst not, and gatherest where thou strawedst not:
“Ɔpaani a ɔnyaa dwetɛ kilogram aduasa ɛnan no nso baeɛ. Ɔka kyerɛɛ ne wura no sɛ, ‘Owura, menim sɛ woyɛ onipa a wʼasɛm yɛ den. Wotumi twa wɔ deɛ wonnuaeɛ, ɛnna wotumi boaboa ano wɔ deɛ wompeteeɛ;
25 I was therefore afraide, and went, and hid thy talent in the earth: behold, thou hast thine owne.
enti mesuroeɛ, na mede wo sika no kɔhyɛɛ fam, enti wʼadeɛ nie!’
26 And his master answered, and said vnto him, Thou euill seruant, and slouthfull, thou knewest that I reape where I sowed not, and gather where I strawed not.
“Ne wura no ka kyerɛɛ no sɛ, ‘Akoa bɔne ne onihafoɔ! Wonim sɛ metumi twa wɔ deɛ mennuaeɛ, na metumi boaboa ano wɔ deɛ mempeteeɛ a,
27 Thou oughtest therefore to haue put my money to ye exchangers, and then at my comming should I haue receiued mine owne with vantage.
anka ɛsɛ sɛ wode sika no kɔto sikakorabea nya nsiho to hɔ ma me.
28 Take therefore the talent from him, and giue it vnto him which hath tenne talents.
“‘Monnye ne nsam sika no, na momfa nkɔma deɛ ɔnyaa dwetɛ kilogram ahasa aduanan no.
29 For vnto euery man that hath, it shall be giuen, and he shall haue abundance, and from him that hath not, euen that he hath, shalbe taken away.
Obiara a ɔde deɛ wɔde ama no no bɛyɛ ade pa no, wɔde bi bɛka no ho. Na obiara a wamfa deɛ wɔde ama no no anyɛ ade pa no, deɛ ɔwɔ no mpo, wɔbɛgye afiri ne nsam.
30 Cast therefore that vnprofitable seruant into vtter darkenes: there shalbe weeping and gnasshing of teeth.
Monto akoa a ne ho nni mfasoɔ yi ntwene esum kabii mu: ɛhɔ na esu ne agyaadwoɔ wɔ.’
31 And when the Sonne of man commeth in his glory, and all the holy Angels with him, then shall he sit vpon the throne of his glorie,
“Na sɛ Onipa Ba no ba nʼanimuonyam mu a abɔfoɔ nyinaa ka ne ho a, saa ɛberɛ no na ɔbɛtena nʼanimuonyam ahennwa no so.
32 And before him shalbe gathered all nations, and he shall seperate them one from another, as a shepheard separateth the sheepe from ye goates.
Na wɔbɛboaboa aman nyinaa ano nʼanim. Na ɔbɛpa nnipa no mu sɛdeɛ odwanhwɛfoɔ pa nnwan firi mpɔnkye mu;
33 And he shall set the sheepe on his right hand, and the goates on the left.
na ɔde nnwan no bɛgyina ne nifa so, na ɔde mpɔnkye no agyina ne benkum so.
34 Then shall ye king say to them on his right hand, Come ye blessed of my father: take the inheritance of the kingdome prepared for you from the foundation of the world.
“Ɛno na Ɔhene no bɛka akyerɛ wɔn a wɔgyina ne nifa so no sɛ, ‘Mo a mʼagya ahyira mo, mommra mmɛfa ahennie a wɔasiesie ama mo firi ewiase ahyɛaseɛ no nni!
35 For I was an hungred, and ye gaue me meate: I thirsted, and ye gaue me drinke: I was a stranger, and ye tooke me in vnto you.
Ɛkɔm dee me, na momaa me aduane diiɛ. Sukɔm dee me, na momaa me nsuo nomeeɛ. Meyɛɛ ɔhɔhoɔ, na mode me kɔɔ mo fie.
36 I was naked, and ye clothed me: I was sicke, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came vnto me.
Medaa adagya na mofiraa me ntoma. Meyareeɛ, na mobɛsraa me. Medaa afiase, na mobɛhwɛɛ me.’
37 Then shall the righteous answere him, saying, Lord, when sawe we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or a thirst, and gaue thee drinke?
“Saa ɛberɛ no mu na ateneneefoɔ bɛbisa sɛ, ‘Owura, da bɛn na yɛhunuu wo sɛ ɛkɔm de wo a, yɛmaa wo aduane, na sukɔm de wo a yɛmaa wo nsuo nomeeɛ?
38 And when sawe we thee a stranger, and tooke thee in vnto vs? or naked, and clothed thee?
Afei, da bɛn na yɛhunuu sɛ woyɛɛ ɔhɔhoɔ a, yɛde wo kɔɔ yɛn fie, anaasɛ wodaa adagya a, yɛfiraa wo ntoma?
39 Or when sawe we thee sicke, or in prison, and came vnto thee?
Afei, da bɛn na yɛhunuu sɛ woyare a, yɛbɛsraa wo, anaasɛ wodaa afiase a, yɛbɛhwɛɛ wo?’
40 And the King shall answere, and say vnto them, Verely I say vnto you, in as much as ye haue done it vnto one of the least of these my brethre, ye haue done it to me.
“Na Ɔhene no, bɛbua wɔn sɛ, ‘Sɛ moayɛ ama me nuanom nkumaa yi mu baako yi, moayɛ ama me!’
41 Then shall he say vnto them on ye left hand, Depart from me ye cursed, into euerlasting fire, which is prepared for the deuill and his angels. (aiōnios g166)
“Afei, mɛdane mʼani akyerɛ wɔn a wɔgyina me benkum so no aka akyerɛ wɔn sɛ, ‘Mo a wɔadome mo, wɔmfa mo nkɔgu ogyatannaa a ɛnnum da a wɔasɔ ama ɔbonsam ne nʼahokafoɔ no mu. (aiōnios g166)
42 For I was an hungred, and ye gaue me no meate: I thirsted, and ye gaue me no drinke:
Na ɛkɔm dee me, moamma me aduane anni, sukɔm dee me, moamma me nsuo annom.
43 I was a stranger, and ye tooke me not in vnto you: I was naked, and ye clothed me not: sicke, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
Meyɛɛ ɔhɔhoɔ, moamfa me ankɔ mo fie. Medaa adagya, moamfira me ntoma. Meyareeɛ, moammɛsra me. Medaa afiase, moammɛhwɛ me.’
44 Then shall they also answere him, saying, Lord, when sawe we thee an hungred, or a thirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sicke, or in prison, and did not minister vnto thee?
“Wɔn nso bɛbua no sɛ, ‘Awurade, da bɛn na yɛhunuu wo sɛ ɛkɔm dee wo, anaasɛ sukɔm dee wo, anaasɛ woyɛɛ ɔhɔhoɔ, anaasɛ wodaa adagya, anaasɛ woyareeɛ, anaasɛ wodaa afiase, na yɛanyɛ deɛ ɛsɛ sɛ yɛyɛ amma wo?’
45 Then shall he answere them, and say, Verely I say vnto you, in as much as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
“Na mɛbua wɔn sɛ, ‘Sɛ moanyɛ amma nkumaa yi mu baako enti, moanyɛ amma me.’
46 And these shall goe into euerlasting paine, and the righteous into life eternall. (aiōnios g166)
“Na wɔbɛkɔ ahoyera a ɛtoɔ ntwa da mu, na ateneneefoɔ akɔ nkwa a ɛnni awieeɛ mu.” (aiōnios g166)
