Matthew 21
1 And when they drewe neere to Hierusalem, and were come to Bethphage, vnto the mount of the Oliues, then sent Iesus two disciples,
| هنگامی که به حوالی اورشلیم، به نزدیکی بیت‌فاجی واقع در کوه زیتون رسیدند، عیسی دو نفر از شاگردان خود را جلوتر فرستاد |
2 Saying to them, Goe into the towne that is ouer against you, and anon yee shall finde an asse bounde, and a colt with her: loose them, and bring them vnto me.
| و فرمود: «به دهکده‌ای که در مقابل شماست بروید. هنگامی که وارد شدید، الاغی را با کُرّه‌اش خواهید دید که بسته‌اند. آنها را باز کنید و نزد من بیاورید. |
3 And if any man say ought vnto you, say ye, that the Lord hath neede of them, and straightway he will let them goe.
| اگر کسی پرسید که چه می‌کنید، بگویید:”خداوند لازمشان دارد،“و او بی‌درنگ اجازه خواهد داد آنها را بیاورید.» |
4 All this was done that it might be fulfilled, which was spoken by the Prophet, saying,
| با این کار، پیشگویی یکی از انبیای دوران گذشته جامهٔ عمل پوشید که گفته بود: |
5 Tell ye the daughter of Sion, Beholde, thy King commeth vnto thee, meeke and sitting vpon an asse, and a colte, the foale of an asse vsed to the yoke.
| «به اورشلیم بگویید:”پادشاهت نزد تو می‌آید. او فروتن است و سوار بر الاغ، بر کرّهٔ الاغ.“» |
6 So the disciples went, and did as Iesus had commanded them,
| آن دو شاگرد رفتند و هر چه عیسی گفته بود، انجام دادند. |
7 And brought the asse and the colt, and put on them their clothes, and set him thereon.
| ایشان الاغ و کرّه‌اش را آوردند و لباسهای خود را بر پشت آنها انداختند و عیسی سوار شد. |
8 And a great multitude spred their garments in the way: and other cut downe branches from the trees, and strawed them in the way.
| از میان جمعیت، عدۀ زیادی رداهای خود را در مقابل او، روی جاده پهن می‌کردند و عده‌ای هم شاخه‌های درختان را بریده، جلوی او روی جاده پهن می‌کردند. |
9 Moreouer, the people that went before, and they also that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the Sonne of Dauid, Blessed be hee that commeth in the Name of the Lord, Hosanna thou which art in the highest heauens.
| مردم از جلو و از پشت سر حرکت می‌کردند و فریاد می‌زدند: «هوشیعانا بر پسر داوود! مبارک است آن که به نام خداوند می‌آید. هوشیعانا در عرش برین!» |
10 And when he was come into Hierusalem, all the citie was mooued, saying, Who is this?
| وقتی او وارد اورشلیم شد، تمام شهر به هیجان آمد. مردم می‌پرسیدند: «این مرد کیست؟» |
11 And the people said, This is Iesus that Prophet of Nazareth in Galile.
| جواب می‌شنیدند: «او عیسای پیامبر است از ناصرهٔ جلیل.» |
12 And Iesus went into the Temple of God, and cast out all them that solde and bought in the Temple, and ouerthrew the tables of the money chagers, and the seates of them that sold doues,
| آنگاه عیسی به داخل معبد رفت و کسانی را که در آنجا خرید و فروش می‌کردند، بیرون راند و میزهای صرافان و بساط کبوترفروشان را واژگون کرد. |
13 And said to them, it is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer: but ye haue made it a denne of theeues.
| عیسی به ایشان گفت: «کتب مقدّس می‌فرماید که”خانهٔ من خانهٔ دعا خوانده خواهد شد“، اما شما آن را لانۀ دزدان ساخته‌اید.» |
14 Then the blinde, and the halt came to him in the Temple, and he healed them.
| در همان حال، نابینایان و افلیجان نزد او به معبد آمدند و او همه را شفا داد. |
15 But when the chiefe priestes and Scribes sawe the marueiles that hee did, and the children crying in the Temple, and saying, Hosanna to the Sonne of Dauid, they disdained,
| کاهنان اعظم و علمای دین نیز این معجزات را می‌دیدند، و می‌شنیدند که کودکان فریاد زده، می‌گویند: «خوش آمدی، ای پسر داوود پادشاه!» |
16 And said vnto him, Hearest thou what these say? And Iesus said vnto them, Yea: read ye neuer, By the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast made perfite the praise?
| از این رو به خشم آمده، به عیسی گفتند: «نمی‌شنوی این بچه‌ها چه می‌گویند؟» عیسی جواب داد: «چرا، می‌شنوم! مگر شما هرگز کتب مقدّس را نخوانده‌اید؟ در آنجا نوشته شده که”کودکان و شیرخوارگان، زبان به ستایش تو می‌گشایند!“» |
17 So hee left them, and went out of the citie vnto Bethania, and lodged there.
| آنگاه از شهر خارج شده به بیت‌عنیا رفت و شب را در آنجا به سر برد. |
18 And in the morning, as he returned into the citie, he was hungrie,
| صبح روز بعد، وقتی عیسی به اورشلیم بازمی‌گشت، گرسنه شد. |
19 And seeing a figge tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaues onely, and said to it, Neuer fruite grow on thee henceforwards. And anon the figge tree withered. (aiōn g165)
| کنار جاده درخت انجیری دید؛ جلو رفت تا میوه‌ای از آن بچیند. اما جز برگ چیز دیگری بر درخت نیافت. پس گفت: «باشد که دیگر هرگز از تو میوه‌ای به‌عمل نیاید!» بلافاصله درخت خشک شد. (aiōn g165) |
20 And when his disciples saw it, they marueiled, saying, How soone is the figge tree withered!
| شاگردان که از دیدن این واقعه حیرت‌زده شده بودند، گفتند: «چه زود درخت انجیر خشک شد!» |
21 And Iesus answered and said vnto them, Verely I say vnto you, if ye haue faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only doe that, which I haue done to the figge tree, but also if ye say vnto this mountaine, Take thy selfe away, and cast thy selfe into the sea, it shalbe done.
| عیسی به ایشان گفت: «براستی به شما می‌گویم اگر ایمان داشته باشید و شک نکنید، نه فقط این کار، بلکه بزرگتر از این نیز انجام خواهید داد. حتی می‌توانید به این کوه بگویید،”از جا کنده شو و به دریا افکنده شو“، و چنین خواهد شد. |
22 And whatsoeuer ye shall aske in prayer, if ye beleeue, ye shall receiue it.
| اگر ایمان داشته باشید، هر چه در دعا بخواهید، خواهید یافت.» |
23 And whe he was come into the Temple, the chiefe Priestes, and the Elders of the people came vnto him, as he was teaching, and saide, By what authoritie doest thou these things? and who gaue thee this authoritie?
| عیسی بار دیگر به معبد آمد و به تعلیم مردم پرداخت. کاهنان اعظم و مشایخ قوم پیش آمدند و از او پرسیدند: «با چه اختیاری این کارها را انجام می‌دهی؟ چه کسی به تو این اختیار را داده است؟» |
24 Then Iesus answered and said vnto them, I also will aske of you a certaine thing, which if ye tell me, I likewise will tell you by what authoritie I doe these things.
| عیسی فرمود: «من به شرطی جواب شما را می‌دهم که اول به سؤال من جواب دهید. |
25 The baptisme of Iohn, whence was it? from heauen, or of men? Then they reasoned among themselues, saying, If we shall say, From heauen, he will say vnto vs, Why did ye not then beleeue him?
| آیا اقتدار یحیی برای تعمید دادن مردم از آسمان بود یا از انسان؟» ایشان درباره این موضوع با یکدیگر مشورت کرده، گفتند: «اگر بگوییم از سوی خدا فرستاده شده بود، خود را به دام انداخته‌ایم، زیرا خواهد پرسید: پس چرا به او ایمان نیاوردید؟ |
26 And if we say, Of men, we feare the multitude, for all holde Iohn as a Prophet.
| و اگر بگوییم از انسان بود، این مردم بر ما هجوم خواهند آورد، چون همه یحیی را پیامبر می‌دانند.» |
27 Then they answered Iesus, and said, We can not tell. And he said vnto them, Neither tell I you by what authoritie I doe these things.
| سرانجام گفتند: «ما نمی‌دانیم!» عیسی فرمود: «پس در این صورت من هم به شما نمی‌گویم که با چه اقتداری این کارها را می‌کنم. |
28 But what thinke ye? A certaine man had two sonnes, and came to the elder, and saide, Sonne, goe and worke to day in my vineyarde.
| «اما نظرتان در این مورد چیست؟ «مردی دو پسر داشت. به پسر بزرگتر گفت: پسرم، امروز به مزرعه برو و کار کن. |
29 But he answered, and said, I will not: yet afterward he repented himselfe, and went.
| جواب داد:”نمی‌روم!“ولی بعد پشیمان شد و رفت. |
30 Then came he to the second, and said likewise. And he answered, and said, I will, Syr: yet he went not.
| پس از آن، به پسر کوچکترش همین را گفت. او جواب داد:”اطاعت می‌کنم آقا.“ولی نرفت. |
31 Whether of them twaine did the will of the father? They saide vnto him, The first. Iesus saide vnto them, Verely I say vnto you, that the Publicanes and the harlots goe before you into the kingdome of God.
| به نظر شما کدام پسر دستور پدر را اطاعت کرده است؟» جواب دادند: «البته پسر بزرگتر.» آنگاه عیسی منظورش را از این حکایت بیان فرمود: «مطمئن باشید باجگیران فاسد و فاحشه‌ها زودتر از شما وارد ملکوت خدا خواهند شد، |
32 For Iohn came vnto you in the way of righteousnes, and yee beleeued him not: but the Publicanes, and the harlots beleeued him, and ye, though ye sawe it, were not mooued with repentance afterward, that ye might beleeue him.
| زیرا یحیی شما را به توبه و بازگشت به سوی خدا دعوت کرد، اما شما به دعوتش توجهی نکردید، در حالی که بسیاری از باجگیران و فاحشه‌ها به سخنان او ایمان آوردند. حتی با دیدن این موضوع، باز هم شما توبه نکردید و ایمان نیاوردید. |
33 Heare another parable, There was a certaine housholder, which planted a vineyard, and hedged it round about, and made a winepresse therein, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a strange countrey.
| «به مَثَل دیگری گوش کنید: صاحب مِلکی تاکستانی درست کرد، دور تا دور آن را دیوار کشید، حوضی برای له کردن انگور ساخت، و یک برج هم برای دیده‌بانی احداث کرد و باغ را به چند باغبان اجاره داد، و خود به سفر رفت. |
34 And when the time of the fruite drewe neere, hee sent his seruants to the husbandmen to receiue the fruites thereof.
| در فصل انگورچینی، خدمتکارانش را فرستاد تا سهم خود را از محصول باغ بگیرد. |
35 And ye husbandmen tooke his seruants and beat one, and killed another, and stoned another.
| ولی باغبانان ایشان را گرفته، یکی را زدند، یکی را کشتند و دیگری را سنگسار کردند. |
36 Againe hee sent other seruants, moe then the first: and they did the like vnto them.
| صاحب باغ خدمتکاران بیشتری فرستاد تا سهم خود را بگیرد؛ ولی نتیجه همان بود. |
37 But last of all he sent vnto them his owne sonne, saying, They will reuerence my sonne.
| سرانجام پسر خود را فرستاد، با این تصور که به او احترام خواهند گذاشت. |
38 But when the husbandmen saw the sonne, they saide among themselues, This is the heire: come, let vs kill him, and let vs take his inheritance.
| ولی وقتی باغبانها چشمشان به پسر مالک افتاد، به یکدیگر گفتند:”او وارث است؛ پس بیایید او را بکشیم تا باغ مال ما شود.“ |
39 So they tooke him, and cast him out of the vineyarde, and slewe him.
| پس او را از باغ بیرون کشیدند و کشتند. |
40 When therefore the Lord of the vineyarde shall come, what will hee doe to those husbandmen?
| «حالا به نظر شما وقتی صاحب باغ برگردد، با باغبانها چه خواهد کرد؟» |
41 They saide vnto him, Hee will cruelly destroy those wicked men, and will let out his vineyard vnto other husbandmen, which shall deliuer him the fruites in their seasons.
| سران قوم جواب دادند: «حتماً انتقام شدیدی از آنان خواهد گرفت و باغ را به باغبانهایی اجاره خواهد داد تا بتواند سهم خود را به موقع از ایشان بگیرد.» |
42 Iesus saide vnto them, Read ye neuer in the Scriptures, The stone which the builders refused, the same is made the head of the corner? This was the Lordes doing, and it is marueilous in our eyes.
| آنگاه عیسی از ایشان پرسید: «آیا تا به حال در کتب مقدّس نخوانده‌اید که:”سنگی که معماران دور افکندند، سنگ اصلی ساختمان شده است. این کارِ خداوند است و در نظر ما عجیب می‌نماید“؟ |
43 Therefore say I vnto you, The kingdome of God shalbe taken from you, and shalbe giuen to a nation, which shall bring foorth the fruites thereof.
| «منظورم این است که ملکوت خدا از شما گرفته و به قومی داده خواهد شد که میوۀ آن را بدهند. |
44 And whosoeuer shall fall on this stone, he shalbe broken: but on whomsoeuer it shall fall, it will dash him a pieces.
| اگر کسی روی این سنگ بیفتد، تکه‌تکه خواهد شد؛ و اگر این سنگ بر روی کسی بیفتد، او را له خواهد کرد.» |
45 And when the chiefe Priestes and Pharises had heard his parables, they perceiued that hee spake of them.
| وقتی کاهنان اعظم و فریسیان متوجه شدند که عیسی دربارهٔ آنان سخن می‌گوید و منظورش از باغبانهای ظالم در این مَثَل، خود آنهاست، |
46 And they seeking to laye handes on him, feared the people, because they tooke him as a Prophet.
| تصمیم گرفتند او را بکشند، اما از مردم ترسیدند چون همه عیسی را پیامبر می‌دانستند. |
