Matthew 10
1 And hee called his twelue disciples vnto him, and gaue them power against vncleane spirits, to cast them out, and to heale euery sickenesse, and euery disease.
Yesuus barattoota isaa kudha lamaan ofitti waamee akka isaan hafuurota xuraaʼoo baasaniif, dhibee fi dhukkuba hundumaa akka fayyisaniif taayitaa kenneef.
2 Nowe the names of the twelue Apostles are these. The first is Simon, called Peter, and Andrew his brother: Iames the sonne of Zebedeus, and Iohn his brother.
Maqaan ergamoota kudha lamaaniis kana: Jalqabatti Simoon isa Phexros jedhamuu fi obboleessa isaa Indiriiyaas, Yaaqoob ilma Zabdewoosii fi obboleessa isaa Yohannis,
3 Philippe and Bartlemewe: Thomas, and Matthewe that Publicane: Iames the sonne of Alpheus, and Lebbeus whose surname was Thaddeus:
Fiiliphoos, Bartaloomewoos, Toomaas, Maatewos isa qaraxa walitti qabu, Yaaqoob ilma Alfewoosii fi Taadewoos,
4 Simon the Cananite, and Iudas Iscariot, who also betraied him.
Simoon Hinaafticha, Yihuudaa Keeriyoticha isa Yesuusin dabarsee kenne.
5 These twelue did Iesus send forth, and commanded them, saying, Goe not into the way of of the Gentiles, and into the cities of the Samaritans enter yee not:
Yesuusis warra kudha lamaan kanneen erge; akkanas jedhee isaan ajaje; “Gara Namoota Ormaa hin dhaqinaa; magaalaawwan Samaariyaa tokko illee hin seeninaa.
6 But goe rather to the lost sheepe of the house of Israel.
Qooda kanaa gara hoolota mana Israaʼel kanneen badan sanaa dhaqaa.
7 And as ye goe, preach, saying, The kingdome of heauen is at hand.
Yommuu dhaqxanittis, ‘mootummaan samii dhiʼaateera’ jedhaa lallabaa.
8 Heale the sicke: cleanse the lepers: raise vp the dead: cast out the deuils. Freely ye haue receiued, freely giue.
Dhukkubsattoota fayyisaa; warra duʼan kaasaa; warra lamxaaʼan qulqulleessaa; hafuurota hamoo baasaa. Tola waan argattaniif toluma kennaa.
9 Possesse not golde, nor siluer, nor money in your girdels,
“Sabbata keessanitti warqee yookaan meetii yookaan sibiila diimaa hin qabatinaa;
10 Nor a scrippe for the iourney, neither two coates, neither shoes, nor a staffe: for the workeman is worthie of his meate.
karaa keessaniif korojoo yookaan kittaa lama yookaan kophee yookaan ulee hin qabatinaa; hojjetaaf waan isa barbaachisu argachuun ni malaatii.
11 And into whatsoeuer citie or towne ye shall come, enquire who is worthy in it, and there abide till yee goe thence.
Magaalaa yookaan ganda seentan kam iyyuu keessa nama malu barbaadaa; hamma achii baatanittis manuma isaa turaa.
12 And when yee come into an house, salute the same.
Yommuu mana sana seentanittis nagaa gaafadhaa.
13 And if the house be worthy, let your peace come vpon it: but if it be not worthie, let your peace returne to you.
Nagaan keessan yoo mana sanaaf male, mana sanaaf haa taʼu; yoo isaaf hin malin garuu nagaan keessan isiniif haa deebiʼu.
14 And whosoeuer shall not receiue you, nor heare your woordes, when yee depart out of that house, or that citie, shake off the dust of your feete.
Yoo namni tokko illee isin simachuu baate yookaan dubbii keessan dhagaʼuu baate, yeroo mana yookaan magaalaa sanaa baatanitti awwaara miilla keessanii dhadhaʼadhaa.
15 Truely I say vnto you, it shall be easier for them of the lande of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of iudgement, then for that citie.
Ani dhuguma isinittin hima; guyyaa murtiitti magaalaa sana irra Sodoomii fi Gomoraaf ni salphata.
16 Behold, I send you as sheepe in the middes of the wolues: be yee therefore wise as serpents, and innocent as doues.
“Kunoo, ani akka hoolotaa gara gidduu yeeyyiittin isin erga. Kanaafuu akka bofaa ogeeyyii, akka gugee garraamii taʼaa.
17 But beware of men, for they will deliuer you vp to the Councils, and will scourge you in their Synagogues.
Namoota irraa of eeggadhaa; isin dabarfamtanii yaaʼiitti ni kennamtu; manneen sagadaa keessattis ni garafamtu.
18 And ye shall be brought to the gouernours and Kings for my sake, in witnes to them, and to the Gentiles.
Isinis akka isaanii fi Namoota Ormaatti dhuga baatota taataniif anaaf jettanii fuula bulchitootaatii fi moototaa duratti ni dhiʼeeffamtu.
19 But when they deliuer you vp, take no thought howe or what ye shall speake: for it shall be giuen you in that houre, what ye shall say.
Yommuu dabarsanii isin kennanis akkamitti akka dubbattan yookaan maal akka dubbattan hin yaaddaʼinaa. Wanni isin dubbattan yeruma sanatti isiniif kennama;
20 For it is not yee that speake, but the spirite of your father which speaketh in you.
Hafuura Abbaa keessaniitu isin keessaa dubbata malee isintu dubbata mitii.
21 And the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the sonne, and the children shall rise against their parents, and shall cause them to die.
“Obboleessi dabarsee obboleessa duʼatti kenna; abbaan dabarsee ijoollee isaa duʼatti kenna; ijoolleenis warra isaaniitti kaʼanii isaan ajjeesu.
22 And yee shall be hated of all men for my Name: but he that endureth to the end, he shall be saued.
Namni hundinuu sababii kootiif isin jibba; kan hamma dhumaatti jabaatee dhaabatu garuu ni fayya.
23 And when they persecute you in this citie, flee into another: for verely I say vnto you, yee shall not goe ouer all the cities of Israel, till the Sonne of man be come.
Yommuu magaalaa tokko keessatti isin ariʼatanitti, gara magaalaa kaaniitti baqadhaa; ani dhuguma isinittin hima; hamma Ilmi Namaa dhufutti magaalaawwan Israaʼel hundumaa keessa naannoftanii waliin hin geessan.
24 The disciple is not aboue his master, nor the seruant aboue his Lord.
“Barataan barsiisaa isaatii ol miti; garbichis gooftaa isaatii ol miti.
25 It is ynough for the disciple to bee as his master is, and the seruaunt as his Lord. If they haue called the master of the house Beel-zebub, howe much more them of his housholde?
Barataan tokko akka barsiisaa isaa taʼuun, garbichi tokko immoo akka gooftaa isaa taʼuun ni gaʼa. Erga abbaa manaatiin ‘Biʼeelzebuul’ jedhanii, warra mana isaa jiraataniin immoo hammam kana caalaa haa jedhan ree!
26 Feare them not therefore: for there is nothing couered, that shall not be disclosed, nor hid, that shall not be knowen.
“Kanaafuu isaan hin sodaatinaa. Wanni haguugamee utuu hin mulʼifamin hafu yookaan wanni dhokfamee utuu hin beekamin hafu tokko iyyuu hin jiruutii.
27 What I tell you in darkenesse, that speake yee in light: and what yee heare in the eare, that preach yee on the houses.
Waan ani dukkana keessatti isinitti himu guyyaa adiin odeessaa; waan gurratti isinitti hasaasan, bantii manaa irraa labsaa.
28 And feare yee not them which kill the bodie, but are nor able to kill the soule: but rather feare him, which is able to destroy both soule and bodie in hell. (Geenna g1067)
Warra foon malee lubbuu ajjeesuu hin dandeenye hin sodaatinaa. Qooda kanaa Isa gahaannam keessatti foonii fi lubbuu balleessuu dandaʼu sana sodaadhaa. (Geenna g1067)
29 Are not two sparrowes sold for a farthing, and one of them shall not fal on the ground without your Father?
Daaloteen lama saantima tokkotti gurguramu mitii? Isaan keessaa garuu tokko iyyuu fedhii Abbaa keessanii malee lafa hin buutu.
30 Yea, and all the heares of your head are nombred.
Rifeensi mataa keessanii hundis lakkaaʼameera.
31 Feare ye not therefore, yee are of more value then many sparowes.
Kanaaf hin sodaatinaa; isin daalotee hedduu caalaa gatii qabduutii.
32 Whosoeuer therefore shall confesse me before men, him will I confesse also before my Father which is in heauen.
“Kanaafuu nama fuula namootaa duratti dhugaa naa baʼu kamiif iyyuu, anis fuula Abbaa koo isa samii irraa duratti dhugaa nan baʼa.
33 But whosoeuer shall denie me before me, him will I also denie before my Father which is in heauen.
Nama fuula namootaa duratti na ganu kam iyyuu garuu anis fuula Abbaa koo isa samii irraa duratti nan gana.
34 Thinke not that I am come to sende peace into the earth: I came not to send peace, but the sworde.
“Isin waan ani lafa irratti nagaa buusuuf dhufe hin seʼinaa. Ani goraadee fiduuf malee nagaa buusuuf hin dhufne.
35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in lawe.
Ani, “‘Nama abbaa isaatti, intala immoo haadha isheetti, niitii ilmaas amaatii isheetti kaasuuf dhufeeraatii;
36 And a mans enemies shall be they of his owne housholde.
diinonni namaa, miseensotuma mana isaatii.’
37 He that loueth father or mother more then me, is not worthie of me. And he that loueth sonne, or daughter more then mee, is not worthie of me.
“Namni abbaa isaa yookaan haadha isaa na caalchisee jaallatu kam iyyuu naaf hin malu; namni ilma isaa yookaan intala isaa na caalchisee jaallatu kam iyyuu naaf hin malu.
38 And hee that taketh not his crosse, and followeth after me, is not worthie of me.
Namni fannoo ofii isaa baadhatee na duukaa hin buune kam iyyuu naaf hin malu.
39 He that will finde his life, shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake, shall finde it.
Namni lubbuu isaa oolfatu kam iyyuu lubbuu isaa ni dhaba; garuu namni naaf jedhee lubbuu isaa dhabu kam iyyuu lubbuu isaa ni argata.
40 He that receiueth you, receiueth me: and hee that receiueth mee, receiueth him that hath sent me.
“Namni isin simatu na simata; namni na simatu immoo isa na erge sana simata.
41 Hee that receiueth a Prophet in the name of a Prophet, shall receiue a Prophetes rewarde: and hee that receiueth a righteous man, in the name of a righteous man, shall receiue the rewarde of a righteous man.
Namni raajii tokko sababii inni raajii taʼeef simatu kam iyyuu gatii raajii ni argata; namni nama qajeelaa tokko sababii inni nama qajeelaa taʼeef simatu gatii nama qajeelaa tokkoo ni argata.
42 And whosoeuer shall giue vnto one of these litle ones to drinke a cuppe of colde water onely, in the name of a disciple, verely I say vnto you, he shall not lose his rewarde.
Ani dhuguman isinitti hima; namni kam iyyuu yoo warra xixinnaa kanneen keessaa isa tokkoof sababii inni barataa koo taʼeef bishaan qabbanaaʼaa budduuqsaa tokkoo illee kenne, inni dhugumaan gatii isaa hin dhabu.”
