Matthew 10
1 And hee called his twelue disciples vnto him, and gaue them power against vncleane spirits, to cast them out, and to heale euery sickenesse, and euery disease.
Ug ang iyang napulog-duha ka mga tinun-an iyang gitawag ngadto kaniya, ug iyang gihatagan silag kagahum batok sa mga mahugawng espiritu, aron sa pagpagula niini, ug sa pag-ayo sa tanang mga sakit ug sa tanang kaluyahon.
2 Nowe the names of the twelue Apostles are these. The first is Simon, called Peter, and Andrew his brother: Iames the sonne of Zebedeus, and Iohn his brother.
Ang mga ngalan sa napulog-duha ka mga apostoles mao kini: nahauna, si Simon nga ginganlan si Pedro, ug si Andres nga igsoon ni Simon; si Santiago nga anak ni Zebedeo, ug si Juan nga igsoon niya ni Santiago;
3 Philippe and Bartlemewe: Thomas, and Matthewe that Publicane: Iames the sonne of Alpheus, and Lebbeus whose surname was Thaddeus:
si Felipe ug si Bartolome; si Tomas ug si Mateo nga maniningil sa buhis; si Santiago nga anak ni Alfeo, ug si Tadeo;
4 Simon the Cananite, and Iudas Iscariot, who also betraied him.
si Simon nga Kananeyo, ug si Judas Iscariote, nga mao ang nagbudhi kang Jesus.
5 These twelue did Iesus send forth, and commanded them, saying, Goe not into the way of of the Gentiles, and into the cities of the Samaritans enter yee not:
" Ug kining Napulog-Duha gipalakaw ni Jesus tapus matugon sila niya nga nag-ingon, " Pangadto kamo dili sa agianan sa mga Gentil, ug sumulod kamo dili sa kalungsuran sa mga Samarianhon,
6 But goe rather to the lost sheepe of the house of Israel.
kondili pangadto hinoon kamo sa mga nangawalang karnero sa banay ni Israel.
7 And as ye goe, preach, saying, The kingdome of heauen is at hand.
Ug samtang magapanglakaw kamo, pagwali kamo nga magaingon, `Ang gingharian sa langit haduol na.'
8 Heale the sicke: cleanse the lepers: raise vp the dead: cast out the deuils. Freely ye haue receiued, freely giue.
Ayoha ninyo ang mga masakiton, banhawa ninyo ang mga patay, hinloi ninyo ang mga sanlahon, pagulaa ninyo ang mga yawa. Nakadawat kamo nga walay bayad, busa panghatag kamo nga walay bayad.
9 Possesse not golde, nor siluer, nor money in your girdels,
Ayaw kamo pagbalon ug bulawan, o salapi, o tumbaga diha sa inyong mga bulsa sa bakus,
10 Nor a scrippe for the iourney, neither two coates, neither shoes, nor a staffe: for the workeman is worthie of his meate.
o puyo alang sa inyong panaw, o duha ka kamisola, o mga sapin, o sungkod; kay ang mamumoo takus sa iyang pagakan-on.
11 And into whatsoeuer citie or towne ye shall come, enquire who is worthy in it, and there abide till yee goe thence.
Ug sa bisan unsang lungsod o balangay nga inyong adtoan, susiha didto kon kinsa ang inyong kaangayan, ug pomuyo kamo sa iyang balay hangtud sa inyong pagpamahawa.
12 And when yee come into an house, salute the same.
Ug inigsaka ninyo sa balay, humatag kamog katahuran.
13 And if the house be worthy, let your peace come vpon it: but if it be not worthie, let your peace returne to you.
Kon ang balay takus man niini, nan, ipaabut diha ang inyong kalinaw; ug kon dili man takus, nan, ipabalik diha kaninyo ang inyong kalinaw.
14 And whosoeuer shall not receiue you, nor heare your woordes, when yee depart out of that house, or that citie, shake off the dust of your feete.
Ug kon kamo dili man pagadawaton ni bisan kinsa, ug dili patalinghugan ang inyong mga pulong, itaktak ninyo ang mga abog gikan sa inyong mga tiil inigpahawa ninyo sa maong balay o lungsod.
15 Truely I say vnto you, it shall be easier for them of the lande of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of iudgement, then for that citie.
Sa pagkatinuod, maga-ingon ako kaninyo, nga sa adlaw sa hukom maarang-arang pa unya alang sa yuta sa Sodoma ug sa Gomorra kay sa maong lungsod.
16 Behold, I send you as sheepe in the middes of the wolues: be yee therefore wise as serpents, and innocent as doues.
"Tan-awa, paadtoon ko kamo nga daw mga karnero sa taliwala sa mga lobo; busa magmasinabuton kamo ingon sa mga bitin ug magmalumo kamo ingon sa mga salampati.
17 But beware of men, for they will deliuer you vp to the Councils, and will scourge you in their Synagogues.
Kinahanglan magbantay kamo sa mga tawo; kay kamo igatugyan nila ngadto sa mga hukmanan, ug kamo ilang pagahampakon sa sulod sa ilang mga sinagoga,
18 And ye shall be brought to the gouernours and Kings for my sake, in witnes to them, and to the Gentiles.
ug tungod kanako kamo pagataralon ngadto sa atubangan sa mga punoan ug sa mga hari, aron makapanghimatuod kamo ngadto kanila ug sa mga Gentil.
19 But when they deliuer you vp, take no thought howe or what ye shall speake: for it shall be giuen you in that houre, what ye shall say.
Ug sa diha nga igatugyan na kamo nila, ayaw kamo pagkalibog kon unsaon ninyo pagsulti o unsay inyong igasulti, kay ang inyong igasulti igahatag ra kaninyo niadtong taknaa;
20 For it is not yee that speake, but the spirite of your father which speaketh in you.
kay dili man kamo mao ang magasulti, kondili ang Espiritu sa inyong Amahan mao ang magasulti pinaagi kaninyo.
21 And the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the sonne, and the children shall rise against their parents, and shall cause them to die.
Ang igsoon magatugyan sa iyang igsoon ngadto sa kamatayon; ug ang amahan magatugyan sa iyang anak; ug ang mga anak mosupil batok sa ilang mga ginikanan ug magapapatay kanila;
22 And yee shall be hated of all men for my Name: but he that endureth to the end, he shall be saued.
ug pagadumtan kamo sa tanang tawo tungod sa akong ngalan. Apan ang molahutay hangtud sa katapusan mamaluwas.
23 And when they persecute you in this citie, flee into another: for verely I say vnto you, yee shall not goe ouer all the cities of Israel, till the Sonne of man be come.
Ug sa diha nga lutoson kamo nila sa usa ka lungsod, pangagiw kamo ngadto sa sunod nga lungsod; kay sa pagkatinuod magaingon ako kaninyo, nga dili pa gani mahurot ninyog libut ang tanang kalungsuran sa Israel, ang Anak sa Tawo mahiabut na.
24 The disciple is not aboue his master, nor the seruant aboue his Lord.
"Ang tinun-an dili labaw sa iyang magtutudlo, ug ang ulipon dili labaw sa iyang agalon.
25 It is ynough for the disciple to bee as his master is, and the seruaunt as his Lord. If they haue called the master of the house Beel-zebub, howe much more them of his housholde?
Igo na alang sa tinun-an nga mahisama siya sa iyang magtutudlo, ug sa ulipon nga mahisama siya sa iyang agalon. Kon ang pangulo sa panimalay ilang ginganlan ug Beelzebu, unsa ka labi pang mangil-ad sa ilang ihingalan sa mga sakop sa iyang panimalay!
26 Feare them not therefore: for there is nothing couered, that shall not be disclosed, nor hid, that shall not be knowen.
"Busa, ayaw kamo pagkahadlok kanila; kay walay tinabonan nga dili pagaukban, o tinagoan nga dili mahibaloan.
27 What I tell you in darkenesse, that speake yee in light: and what yee heare in the eare, that preach yee on the houses.
Ang gipamulong ko kaninyo sa ngitngit, isulti ninyo kini sa hayag; ug ang inyong nadungog nga gihonghong kaninyo, imantala ninyo kini diha sa ibabaw sa mga atop.
28 And feare yee not them which kill the bodie, but are nor able to kill the soule: but rather feare him, which is able to destroy both soule and bodie in hell. (Geenna g1067)
Ug ayaw ninyo pagkahadloki sila nga magapatay sa lawas apan dili arang makapatay sa kalag; mao hinooy kahadloki ninyo ang arang makalaglag sa kalag ug lawas didto sa infierno. (Geenna g1067)
29 Are not two sparrowes sold for a farthing, and one of them shall not fal on the ground without your Father?
Dili ba ang gagmayng mga langgam ginabaligya man lamang sa tagurha kabuok usa ka daku? Ngani walay bisan usa kanila nga mahulog sa yuta nga dili mahibaloan sa inyong Amahan.
30 Yea, and all the heares of your head are nombred.
Bisan pa gani ang mga buhok sa inyong ulo naihap ang tanan.
31 Feare ye not therefore, yee are of more value then many sparowes.
Busa, ayaw kamo pagkahadlok; kamo labaw pag bili kay sa daghang mga langgam.
32 Whosoeuer therefore shall confesse me before men, him will I confesse also before my Father which is in heauen.
Busa, bisan kinsa kadtong moila kanako sa atubangan sa mga tawo, ilhon ko usab siya sa atubangan sa akong Amahan nga anaa sa langit;
33 But whosoeuer shall denie me before me, him will I also denie before my Father which is in heauen.
apan bisan kinsa kadtong dili moila kanako sa atubangan sa mga tawo, dili ko usab siya ilhon sa atubangan sa akong Amahan nga anaa sa langit.
34 Thinke not that I am come to sende peace into the earth: I came not to send peace, but the sworde.
"Ayaw kamo pagdahum nga mianhi ako sa pagdalag pagdinaitay dinhi sa yuta; wala ako moanhi sa pagdalag pagdinaitay, kondili espada hinoon.
35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in lawe.
Kay mianhi ako sa pagpahimutang sa tawo aron makigbingkil siya batok sa iyang amahan, ug sa anak nga babaye batok sa iyang inahan, ug sa binalaye batok sa iyang ugangang babaye;
36 And a mans enemies shall be they of his owne housholde.
ug ang mga kaaway sa tawo anaa ra sa sulod sa iyang kaugalingong panimalay.
37 He that loueth father or mother more then me, is not worthie of me. And he that loueth sonne, or daughter more then mee, is not worthie of me.
Ang mahigugma sa iyang amahan o inahan labaw pa kanako, dili takus kanako; ug ang mahigugma sa iyang anak nga lalaki o anak nga babaye labaw pa kanako, dili takus kanako;
38 And hee that taketh not his crosse, and followeth after me, is not worthie of me.
ug ang wala magpas-an sa iyang krus ug wala lmagsunod kanako, dili takus kanako.
39 He that will finde his life, shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake, shall finde it.
Ang makakaplag sa iyang kinabuhi kawagtangan himoon niini; apan ang magawagtang sa iyang kinabuhi tungod kanako, makakaplag ra niini.
40 He that receiueth you, receiueth me: and hee that receiueth mee, receiueth him that hath sent me.
"Ang magadawat kaninyo magadawat kanako, ug ang magadawat kanako magadawat sa nagpadala kanako.
41 Hee that receiueth a Prophet in the name of a Prophet, shall receiue a Prophetes rewarde: and hee that receiueth a righteous man, in the name of a righteous man, shall receiue the rewarde of a righteous man.
Ang magadawat sa profeta tungkod kay kini usa ka profeta, magadawat siya sa balus nga alang sa profeta; ug ang magadawat sa tawong matarung tungod kay kini usa ka tawong matarung, magadawat sa balus nga alang sa tawong matarung.
42 And whosoeuer shall giue vnto one of these litle ones to drinke a cuppe of colde water onely, in the name of a disciple, verely I say vnto you, he shall not lose his rewarde.
"Ug bisan kinsa nga magahatag ug bisan usa na lang ka kabo nga bugnawng tubig aron ipainom sa usa niining mga gagmay tungod kay kini usa ka tinun-an, sa pagkatinuod, magaingon ako kaninyo, dili gayud siya kawad-an sa iyang balus."
