Mark 1
1 The beginning of the Gospel of Iesus Christ, the Sonne of God:
Începutul evangheliei lui Isus Cristos, Fiul lui Dumnezeu;
2 As it is written in the Prophets, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee.
Așa cum este scris în profeți: Iată, eu trimit pe mesagerul meu înaintea feței tale, care îți va pregăti calea înaintea ta.
3 The voyce of him that cryeth in the wildernesse is, Prepare the way of the Lord: make his paths straight.
Vocea unuia care strigă în pustie: Pregătiți calea Domnului, faceți cărările sale drepte.
4 Iohn did baptize in the wildernesse, and preach the baptisme of amendment of life, for remission of sinnes.
Ioan boteza în pustie și predica botezul pocăinței pentru iertarea păcatelor.
5 And al ye countrey of Iudea, and they of Hierusalem went out vnto him, and were all baptized of him in the riuer Iordan, confessing their sinnes.
Și ieșea la el toată țara Iudeii și cei din Ierusalim și toți au fost botezați de el în râul Iordan, mărturisindu-și păcatele.
6 Nowe Iohn was clothed with camels heare, and with a girdle of a skinne about his loynes: and he did eate Locusts and wilde hony,
Și Ioan era îmbrăcat cu o haină din păr de cămilă și cu un brâu de piele în jurul mijlocului său și mânca lăcuste și miere sălbatică;
7 And preached, saying, A stronger then I commeth after me, whose shoes latchet I am not worthy to stoupe downe, and vnloose.
Și predica, spunând: După mine vine unul mai puternic decât mine, căruia nu sunt demn să mă aplec să îi dezleg cureaua sandalelor.
8 Trueth it is, I haue baptized you with water: but he will baptize you with the holy Ghost.
Eu într-adevăr v-am botezat cu apă, dar el vă va boteza cu Duhul Sfânt.
9 And it came to passe in those dayes, that Iesus came from Nazareth, a citie of Galile, and was baptized of Iohn in Iordan.
Și s-a întâmplat în acele zile că Isus a venit din Nazaretul Galileii și a fost botezat de Ioan în Iordan.
10 And assoone as he was come out of the water, Iohn saw the heauens clouen in twaine, and the holy Ghost descending vpon him like a doue.
Și îndată, ieșind din apă, a văzut cerurile deschizându-se și Duhul ca un porumbel coborând pe el;
11 Then there was a voyce from heauen, saying, Thou art my beloued Sonne, in whome I am well pleased.
Și a venit o voce din cer: Tu ești Fiul meu preaiubit în care îmi găsesc toată plăcerea.
12 And immediatly the Spirite driueth him into the wildernesse.
Și îndată Duhul l-a condus în pustie.
13 And he was there in the wildernesse fourtie daies, and was tempted of Satan: hee was also with the wilde beastes, and the Angels ministred vnto him.
Și a fost acolo, în pustie, patruzeci de zile ispitit de Satan; și a fost cu fiarele sălbatice; și îngerii i-au servit.
14 Now after that Iohn was committed to prison, Iesus came into Galile, preaching the Gospel of the kingdome of God,
Și după ce Ioan a fost pus în închisoare, Isus a venit în Galileea predicând evanghelia împărăției lui Dumnezeu,
15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdome of God is at hand: repent and beleeue the Gospel.
Și, spunând: Timpul este împlinit și împărăția lui Dumnezeu este aproape: pocăiți-vă și credeți evanghelia.
16 And as he walked by the sea of Galile, he saw Simon, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea, (for they were fishers.)
Și pe când umbla pe lângă marea Galileii, a văzut pe Simon și pe Andrei, fratele lui, aruncând un năvod în mare, fiindcă erau pescari.
17 Then Iesus said vnto them, Folow me, and I will make you to be fishers of men.
Și Isus le-a spus: Veniți după mine și vă voi face să deveniți pescari de oameni.
18 And straightway they forsooke their nets, and folowed him.
Și îndată și-au lăsat plasele și l-au urmat.
19 And when hee had gone a litle further thence, he sawe Iames the sonne of Zebedeus, and Iohn his brother, as they were in the ship, mending their nets.
Și mergând puțin mai departe de acolo, a văzut pe Iacov al lui Zebedei și pe Ioan, fratele său; și ei erau în corabie, reparându-și plasele.
20 And anon hee called them: and they left their father Zebedeus in the shippe with his hired seruants, and went their way after him.
Și îndată i-a chemat; iar ei au lăsat pe tatăl lor, Zebedei, în corabie, cu servitorii angajați și au mers după el.
21 So they entred into Capernaum, and straightway on the Sabbath day hee entred into the Synagogue, and taught.
Și s-au dus în Capernaum; și îndată în sabat, a intrat în sinagogă și îi învăța.
22 And they were astonied at his doctrine, for he taught them as one that had authoritie, and not as the Scribes.
Și erau înmărmuriți de doctrina lui; fiindcă îi învăța ca unul care avea autoritate și nu precum scribii.
23 And there was in their Synagogue a man in whome was an vncleane spirite, and hee cried out,
Și în sinagoga lor era un om cu un duh necurat; și el a strigat,
24 Saying, Ah, what haue we to do with thee, O Iesus of Nazareth? Art thou come to destroy vs? I knowe thee what thou art, euen that holy one of God.
Spunând: Lasă-ne; ce avem noi a face cu tine, Isuse din Nazaret? Ai venit să ne nimicești? Te știu cine ești: Sfântul lui Dumnezeu.
25 And Iesus rebuked him, saying, Holde thy peace, and come out of him.
Și Isus l-a mustrat, spunând: Taci și ieși din el.
26 And the vncleane spirit tare him, and cried with a loude voyce, and came out of him.
Și după ce duhul necurat l-a scuturat puternic, și a strigat cu voce tare, a ieșit din el.
27 And they were all amased, so that they demaunded one of another, saying, What thing is this? what newe doctrine is this? for he commandeth euen the foule spirites with authoritie, and they obey him.
Și toți au fost atât de uimiți, încât se întrebau între ei, spunând: Ce este aceasta? Ce doctrină nouă este aceasta? Căci poruncește cu autoritate chiar duhurilor necurate și ele ascultă de el.
28 And immediatly his fame spred abroade throughout all the region bordering on Galile.
Și faima lui s-a răspândit îndată prin toată regiunea, de jur împrejurul Galileii.
29 And assoone as they were come out of the Synagogue, they entred into the house of Symon and Andrew, with Iames and Iohn.
Și îndată, ieșind din sinagogă, au intrat în casa lui Simon și Andrei, împreună cu Iacov și Ioan.
30 And Symons wiues mother lay sicke of a feuer, and anon they told him of her.
Iar soacra lui Simon zăcea cu febră și îndată i-au vorbit despre ea.
31 And he came and tooke her by the hand, and lifted her vp, and the feuer forsooke her by and by, and shee ministred vnto them.
Iar el a venit și a luat-o de mână și a ridicat-o; și îndată a lăsat-o febra și ea le-a servit.
32 And whe euen was come, at what time the sunne setteth, they brought to him all that were diseased, and them that were possessed with deuils.
Și făcându-se seară, când soarele apunea, aduceau la el pe toți cei ce erau bolnavi și pe cei posedați de draci.
33 And the whole citie was gathered together at the doore.
Și toată cetatea s-a adunat la ușă.
34 And he healed many that were sicke of diuers diseases: and he cast out many deuils, and suffred not the deuils to say that they knewe him.
Și a vindecat pe mulți ce erau bolnavi de diferite boli; și a scos mulți draci; și nu îi lăsa pe draci să vorbească, pentru că îl cunoșteau.
35 And in the morning very early before day, Iesus arose and went out into a solitarie place, and there praied.
Și de dimineață, s-a sculat cu mult înainte de ziuă, a ieșit și a plecat într-un loc pustiu și s-a rugat acolo.
36 And Simon, and they that were with him, followed carefully after him.
Și Simon și cei ce erau cu el, l-au urmat.
37 And when they had found him, they sayde vnto him, All men seeke for thee.
Și când l-au găsit, i-au spus: Toți te caută.
38 Then he said vnto them, Let vs go into the next townes, that I may preach there also: for I came out for that purpose.
Iar el le-a spus: Să mergem în satele învecinate ca să predic și acolo; fiindcă pentru aceasta am venit.
39 And hee preached in their Synagogues, throughout all Galile, and cast the deuils out.
Și predica în sinagogile lor, prin toată Galileea și scotea draci.
40 And there came a leper to him, beseeching him, and kneeled downe vnto him, and said to him, If thou wilt, thou canst make me cleane.
Și a venit la el un lepros, implorându-l și îngenunchind înaintea lui și spunându-i: Dacă voiești, mă poți curăți.
41 And Iesus had compassion, and put foorth his hand, and touched him, and said to him, I wil: be thou cleane.
Iar lui Isus, făcându-i-se milă, și-a întins mâna și l-a atins și i-a spus: Voiesc; fii curățit.
42 And assone as he had spoken, immediatly ye leprosie departed from him, and he was made cleane.
Și pe când vorbea, îndată lepra s-a depărtat de la el și a fost curățit.
43 And after he had giue him a streight commandement, he sent him away forthwith,
Și i-a poruncit cu strictețe și îndată l-a trimis de acolo;
44 And sayde vnto him, See thou say nothing to any man, but get thee hence, and shewe thy selfe to the Priest, and offer for thy clensing those things, which Moses commanded, for a testimoniall vnto them.
Și i-a spus: Vezi să nu spui nimănui nimic; ci du-te, arată-te preotului și oferă pentru curățirea ta lucrurile pe care le-a poruncit Moise, ca mărturie pentru ei.
45 But when he was departed, hee began to tel many things, and to publish the matter: so that Iesus could no more openly enter into the citie, but was without in desert places: and they came to him from euery quarter.
Dar el a ieșit și a început să vestească mult și să răspândească acest lucru, atât de mult încât Isus nu mai putea să intre pe față în cetate, ci era afară în locuri pustii; și veneau la el din toate părțile.
