Mark 16
1 And when the Sabbath day was past, Marie Magdalene, and Marie the mother of Iames, and Salome, bought sweete oyntments, that they might come, and anoynt him.
Quand le sabbat fut passé, Marie Madeleine, Marie, mère de Jacques, et Salomé achetèrent des aromates, afin d'aller embaumer Jésus;
2 Therefore early in the morning, the first day of the weeke, they came vnto the sepulchre, when the Sunne was nowe risen.
et, le premier jour de la semaine, de très-grand matin, elles arrivèrent au sépulcre au moment où le soleil venait de se lever.
3 And they saide one to another, Who shall rolle vs away the stone from the doore of the sepulchre?
Elles se disaient entre elles: «Qui nous ôtera la pierre de l'entrée du sépulcre?»
4 And when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away (for it was a very great one)
Et, ayant levé les yeux, elles aperçurent que la pierre était ôtée, car elle était extrêmement grosse.
5 So they went into the sepulchre, and saw a yong man sitting at the right side, clothed in a long white robe: and they were sore troubled.
Étant entrées dans le sépulcre, elles virent un jeune homme assis à droite, vêtu d'une robe blanche; et elles furent bouleversées.
6 But he said vnto them, Be not so troubled: ye seeke Iesus of Nazareth, which hath bene crucified: he is risen, he is not here: behold the place where they put him.
Il leur dit: «Ne vous bouleversez pas. Vous cherchez Jésus de Nazareth, qui a été crucifié; il est ressuscité; il n'est point ici: voilà la place où on l'avait mis.
7 But goe your way, and tell his disciples, and Peter, that he will goe before you into Galile: there shall ye see him, as he said vnto you.
Mais allez dire à ses disciples et à Pierre, qu'il vous précède en Galilée: c'est là que vous le verrez, comme il vous l'a dit.»
8 And they went out quickly, and fled from the sepulchre: for they trembled, and were amased: neither said they any thing to any man: for they were afraide.
Elles sortirent et s'enfuirent du sépulcre. Le tremblement et l'émotion les avaient saisies; et elles ne dirent rien à personne, parce qu'elles étaient effrayées.

10 And shee went and tolde them that had bene with him, which mourned and wept.
Elle alla en porter la nouvelle à ceux qui avaient été avec lui, et qui étaient dans le deuil et dans les larmes.
11 And when they heard that he was aliue, and had appeared to her, they beleeued it not.
Quand ils entendirent que Jésus était vivant, et qu'elle l’avait vu, ils ne la crurent point.
12 After that, he appeared vnto two of them in an other forme, as they walked and went into the countrey.
Ensuite Jésus se montra en chemin, sous une autre forme que la sienne, à deux d'entre eux. qui allaient à la campagne.
13 And they went, and told it to the remnant, neither beleeued they them.
Eux aussi vinrent l'annoncer aux autres disciples, mais ils le les crurent pas davantage.
14 Finally, he appeared vnto the eleuen as they sate together, and reproched them for their vnbeliefe and hardnesse of heart, because they beleeued not them which had seene him, being risen vp againe.
Plus tard, il se montra aux Onze eux-mêmes, pendant qu'ils étaient à table. Il leur reprocha leur incrédulité et leur obstination à ne pas croire ceux qui l’avaient vu ressuscité,
15 And he saide vnto them, Goe ye into all the worlde, and preach the Gospel to euery creature.
et il ajouta: «Allez par tout le monde, et prêchez l’évangile à toute créature.
16 He that shall beleeue and be baptized, shalbe saued: but he that will not beleeue, shalbe damned.
Celui qui croira et qui sera baptisé, sera sauvé; mais celui qui ne croira pas sera condamné.
17 And these tokens shall folowe them that beleeue, In my Name they shall cast out deuils, and shall speake with newe tongues,
Voici les miracles qui accompagneront ceux qui auront cru: en mon nom, ils chasseront les démons; ils parleront de nouvelles langues;
18 And shall take away serpents, and if they shall drinke any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them: they shall lay their handes on the sicke, and they shall recouer.
ils prendront les serpents; s'ils boivent quelque breuvage mortel, ils n'en ressentiront aucun mal; ils guériront les malades en leur imposant les mains.
19 So after ye Lord had spoken vnto them, he was receiued into heauen, and sate at the right hand of God.
Après leur avoir ainsi parlé, le Seigneur fut enlevé au ciel et il s'assit à la droite de Dieu.
20 And they went foorth, and preached euery where. And the Lord wrought with them, and confirmed the worde with signes that folowed. Amen.
Pour eux, ils allèrent prêcher en tous lieux. Le Seigneur les assistait dans leur oeuvre, et confirmait sa Parole par les miracles qui l'accompagnaient.]
