< Mark 12 >
1 And he began to speake vnto them in parables, A certaine man planted a vineyard, and copassed it with an hedge, and digged a pit for the winepresse, and built a tower in it, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a strange countrey.
Yesuusi enttaw leemison yaagidi odis; “Issi uray woyne atakiltte tokkidi, yuushshi aathidi dirssi diris. Qassi he woyniya gum77iya olaaka bookkis. Iya naaganaw adussa shakko shakkis. Hessafe guye, kothe oothiya asaas immidi, hara biitta bis.
2 And at the time, he sent to the husbandmen a seruant, that he might receiue of the husbandmen of the fruite of the vineyard.
Woyne ayfiyaa maxiya wodey gakkin, bana gakkeyssa ekkidi yaana mela, issi ba aylliya kothe aawatakko kiittis.
3 But they tooke him, and beat him, and sent him away emptie.
Kothe aawati iya aylliya oykkidi wadhdhidi, mela kushe yeddidosona.
4 And againe he sent vnto them another seruant, and at him they cast stones, and brake his head, and sent him away shamefully handled.
Nam77antho hara aylle enttako kiittin, entti he aylliyas huu7iya qoo7idi kawushshidi yeddidosona.
5 And againe he sent another, and him they slew, and many other, beating some, and killing some.
Woyne atakilttiya goday qassika hara aylle kiittis. He aylliya wodhidosona, qassi hara darota hessada oothidosona, issota issota wadhdhidi, harata wodhidosona.
6 Yet had he one sonne, his deare beloued: him also he sent the last vnto them, saying, They will reuerence my sonne.
“Woyne atakilttiya godaas kiittanaw ubbaafe wurssethan I daro dosiya ba na7aa xalaali attis. I, “Entti ta na7aa bonchchonna aggokona” gidi, ba na7aa enttako kiittis.
7 But ye husbandmen said among themselues, This is the heire: come, let vs kill him, and the inheritance shalbe ours.
“Shin kothe aawati bantta giddon, ‘Laattanayssi hayssa; yedhdhite iya wodhoos; iya laatay nubaa gidana!’ yaagidosona.
8 So they tooke him, and killed him, and cast him out of the vineyard.
Na7aa oykkidi wodhidi, iya ahaa woyne atakilttiya giddofe gaxa kessi holidosona.
9 What shall then the Lord of the vineyard doe? He will come and destroy these husbandmen, and giue the vineyard to others.
“Hiza, woyne atakilttiya goday waatanee? Yidi he kothe aawata wodhi onggidi, woyniya kothe oothiya hara asas immana.
10 Haue ye not read so much as this Scripture? The stone which the builders did refuse, is made the head of the corner.
‘Gimbbeyssati boridi ixxida shuchchay godaa xaphuwa minthiya, ubbaafe aadhdhiya shuchchu gidis. Hayssi Goday oothidabaa; qassi nu ayfiyaaskka malaalisiyabaa’ yaageyssa Geeshsha Maxaafaappe nabbabibeekketii?” yaagis.
11 This was done of the Lord, and it is marueilous in our eyes.
12 Then they went about to take him, but they feared the people: for they perceiued that he spake that parable against them: therefore they left him, and went their way.
Kahine halaqati, higge asttamaaretinne cimati Yesuusi he leemisuwa bantta bolla leemisidayssa erida gisho, iya oykkanaw koyidosona, shin asaas yayyidi, aggi bidosona.
13 And they sent vnto him certaine of the Pharises, and of ye Herodians that they might take him in his talke.
Qassi iya odaappe bala demmidi, iya oykkana mela, Farisaawetappenne Heroodisa baggatappe guutha asata iyaakko kiittidosona.
14 And when they came, they saide vnto him, Master, we know that thou art true, and carest for no man: for thou considerest not the person of men, but teachest the way of God truely, Is it lawfull to giue tribute to Cesar, or not?
Entti iyaakko yidi, “Asttamaariyaw, neeni tuma odetteyssanne asappe ase shaakkonnayssa nuuni eroos. Neeni ase dummayakka; qassi Xoossaa ogiya tumatethan tamaarssaasa. Nuuni Roome biittaa Kawuwa Qeesares giira giireyssi wogeyye woga gidennee? Giira giiranee agganee?” yaagidosona.
15 Should we giue it, or should we not giue it? but he knew their hypocrisie, and said vnto them, Why tempt ye me? Bring me a peny, that I may see it.
Shin entta cubbotethaa Yesuusi eridi, “Tana ays paacetii? Ane issi santime tana bessite” yaagis.
16 So they brought it, and he said vnto them, Whose is this image and superscription? and they said vnto him, Cesars.
Entti iyaw ehidosona, “Ha malaynne sunthay oodeysee?” yaagidi entta oychchis. Entti, “Roome Kawuwa Qeesareyssa” yaagidosona.
17 Then Iesus answered, and saide vnto them, Giue to Cesar the things that are Cesars, and to God, those that are Gods: and they marueiled at him.
Yesuusi zaaridi, “Yaatikko, Qeesareyssa Qeesares, Xoossayssa Xoossaas immite” yaagin entti iyabaa malaalettidosona.
18 Then came the Sadduces vnto him, (which say, there is no resurrection) and they asked him, saying,
Hayqqida asi denddenna giya Saduqaawetappe issi issi asati Yesuusakko yidi, hayssada yaagidi, iya oychchidosona.
19 Master, Moses wrote vnto vs, If any mans brother die, and leaue his wife, and leaue no children, that his brother should take his wife, and rayse vp seede vnto his brother.
“Asttamaariyaw, Musey nuus higgiya xaafishe, ‘Machcho ekkida asi na7a yelonna hayqqiko, he hayqqidayssa ishay iya machchiw ekkidi, ba ishaas na7a yelanaw bessees’ yaageyssa xaafis.
20 There were seuen brethren, and the first tooke a wife, and when he died, left no issue.
Beni wode laappun ishati de7eyssatappe bayray machcho ekkidi, na7a yelonna hayqqis.
21 Then the seconde tooke her, and he died, neither did he yet leaue issue, and the third likewise:
Nam77anthoy iyo ekkis, ikka na7a yelonna hayqqis. Heedzanthoyka hessada hanis.
22 So those seuen had her, and left no yssue: last of all the wife died also.
Laappunatikka hessatho iyo ekkidi, na7a yelonna hayqqidosona. Ubbaafe guye, qassi he maccasiya hayqqasu.
23 In the resurrection then, when they shall rise againe, whose wife shall she be of them? for seuen had her to wife.
Yaatin, laappunati iyo ekkida gisho hayqqida asay hayqoppe denddiya gallas, iya enttafe awussas machcho gidanee?” yaagidosona.
24 Then Iesus answered, and saide vnto them, Are ye not therefore deceiued, because ye knowe not the Scriptures, neither the power of God?
Yesuusi zaaridi, “Hintte baley, Geeshsha Maxaafata woykko Xoossaa wolqqaa eronna gishossa!
25 For when they shall rise againe from the dead, neither men marry, nor wiues are married, but are as the Angels which are in heauen.
Hayqqida asay hayqoppe denddiya gallas, salon de7iya kiitanchchota mela gidanaappe attin adde asay ekkokona; macca asay gelekkona.
26 And as touching the dead, that they shall rise againe, haue ye not read in the booke of Moses, howe in the bush God spake vnto him, saying, I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Iacob?
Shin hayqqidayssata dendduwabaa gidikko, Muse maxaafan xaafettida xuugettiya buuriyabaa odiya bessan, Xoossay Musekko, ‘Taani, Abrahaame Xoossaa, Yisaaqa Xoossaa, Yayqooba Xoossaa’ gidayssa nabbabibeekketii?
27 God is not ye God of the dead, but the God of the liuing. Ye are therefore greatly deceiued.
Hessa gisho, I, paxa de7eyssata Xoossaafe attin hayqqidayssata Xoosse gidenna. Hintte daro balideta” yaagis.
28 Then came one of the Scribes that had heard them disputing together, and perceiuing that he had answered them well, he asked him, Which is the first commandement of all?
Higge asttamaaretappe issoy entti palameyssa shiiqidi si7is. Qassi Yesuusi enttaw loythi zaaridayssa si7idi, “Kiita ubbaafe aadhdhiya kiitay awussee?” yaagidi Yesuusa oychchis.
29 Iesus answered him, The first of all the commandements is, Heare, Israel, The Lord our God is the onely Lord.
Yesuusi zaaridi, iya hayssada yaagis; “Kiita ubbaafe aadhdhiya kiitaa si7ite; ‘Isra7eele asaw, Goday nu Xoossay issi Godaa.
30 Thou shalt therefore loue the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soule, and with all thy minde, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandement.
Ne Godaa ne Xoossaa ne kumetha wozanappe, ne kumetha shemppuwafe, ne kumetha qofaappe, ne kumetha wolqqaafe dosa’ yaagees.
31 And the second is like, that is, Thou shalt loue thy neighbour as thy selfe. There is none other commandement greater then these.
Qassi kiita ubbaafe aadhdhiya nam77antho kiitay hayssa; ‘Ase ubbaa ne huu7iyada dosa’ yaageyssa; hayssatappe aadhdhiya hara kiiti baawa” yaagis.
32 Then that Scribe said vnto him, Well, Master, thou hast saide the trueth, that there is one God, and that there is none but he,
Higge asttamaarey Yesuusakko, “Asttamaariyaw, tuma gadasa; neeni ‘Xoossay issi Xoossaa xalaala. Iyappe attin hari baawa’ gidayssi tuma.
33 And to loue him with all the heart, and with all the vnderstanding, and with all the soule, and with all the strength, and to loue his neighbour as himselfe, is more then all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.
Xoossaa kumetha wozanappe, kumetha qofaappenne kumetha wolqqaafe doseysinne qassi ase ubbaa ba huu7iyada doseyssi, xuuggiya yarshshuwafenne hara yarshsho ubbaafe aadhdhees” yaagis.
34 Then when Iesus saw that he answered discreetely, he saide vnto him, Thou art not farre from the kingdome of God. And no man after that durst aske him any question.
Yesuusi higge asttamaariya zaaroy aadhdhida eranchcho asa zaaro gididayssa be7idi, “Neeni Xoossaa kawotethaafe haakkabaakka” yaagis; hessafe guye, Yesuusa harabaa oychchanaw oonikka minnibeenna.
35 And Iesus answered and said teaching in the Temple, Howe say the Scribes that Christ is the sonne of Dauid?
Yesuusi Xoossa Keethan tamaarssishe, hayssada yaagis: “Higge asttamaareti Kiristtoosa woygidi Dawite na7a goonaa?
36 For Dauid himselfe said by ye holy Ghost, The Lord said to my Lord, Sit at my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footestoole.
Dawitey Geeshsha Ayyaanan kumidi, ‘Goday, ta Godaa, “Taani ne morkketa ne tohoy yedhdhiyaso oothana gakkanaw, hayssan taappe ushachcha baggara utta” gis’ yaagis.
37 Then Dauid himselfe calleth him Lord: by what meanes is he then his sonne? and much people heard him gladly.
Dawitey ba huu7en Kiristtoosa, ‘Godaa’ gidi xeegikko, yaatin, Kiristtoosi waanidi, Dawite na7a gidii” yaagis. Daro asay Yesuusi geyssa ufayssan si7idosona.
38 Moreouer he saide vnto them in his doctrine, Beware of the Scribes which loue to goe in long robes, and loue salutations in the markets,
Yesuusi tamaarssishe, hayssada yaagis; “Higge asttamaaretappe naagettite; entti adussa ma7o ma7idi yuuyeyssanne giyankka asay entta bonchchidi sarotheyssa dosoosona.
39 And the chiefe seates in the Synagogues, and the first roumes at feastes,

Entti am77eta keethaa bonqidi, banttaw lo77o daananaw woosa adussoosona; entti ubbaafe aadhdhiya pirddaa ekkana” yaagis.
41 And as Iesus sate ouer against the treasurie, he beheld how the people cast money into the treasurie, and many rich men cast in much.
Yesuusi Xoossa Keethan muxaata yeggiya saaxiniya matan uttidi, asay ba miishiya he saaxiniyan yeggeyssa be7is; daro dure asay daro miishiya he saaxiniyan yeggoosona.
42 And there came a certaine poore widowe, and she threw in two mites, which make a quadrin.
Issi manqo am77iya yada, nam77u bakkannata he saaxiniyan yeggasu.
43 Then he called vnto him his disciples, and said vnto them, Verely I say vnto you, that this poore widowe hath cast more in, then all they which haue cast into the treasurie.
Yesuusi ba tamaareta xeegidi, “Taani hinttew tuma odays; muxaata saaxiniyan yeggida asa ubbaafe ha manqo am77iya darssada yeggasu.
44 For they all did cast in of their superfluitie: but she of her pouertie did cast in all that she had, euen all her liuing.
Ays giikko, harati ubbay bantaw palahida miishiyappe yeggidosona. Shin iya ba pacciyaafe, baw de7iya aquwaa kumethi immasu” yaagis.
