Mark 12
1 And he began to speake vnto them in parables, A certaine man planted a vineyard, and copassed it with an hedge, and digged a pit for the winepresse, and built a tower in it, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a strange countrey.
Und dann begann er, in Gleichnissen zu ihnen zu reden. "Es pflanzte jemand einen Weinberg, umgab ihn mit einem Zaun, grub eine Kelter und baute einen Turm. Darauf verpachtete er ihn an Winzer und ging außer Landes.
2 And at the time, he sent to the husbandmen a seruant, that he might receiue of the husbandmen of the fruite of the vineyard.
Als nun die Zeit gekommen war, da schickte er einen Knecht zu den Winzern, um von den Winzern vom Ertrag des Weinbergs zu empfangen.
3 But they tooke him, and beat him, and sent him away emptie.
Doch diese packten ihn, schlugen ihn und schickten ihn mit leeren Händen heim.
4 And againe he sent vnto them another seruant, and at him they cast stones, and brake his head, and sent him away shamefully handled.
Da schickte er ein zweitesmal einen anderen Knecht zu ihnen, doch sie mißhandelten auch diesen und beschimpften ihn.
5 And againe he sent another, and him they slew, and many other, beating some, and killing some.
Noch einen dritten schickte er; diesen brachten sie sogar ums Leben; und so noch viele andere, die sie teils mißhandelten, teils ermordeten.
6 Yet had he one sonne, his deare beloued: him also he sent the last vnto them, saying, They will reuerence my sonne.
Nun hatte er noch einen, seinen vielgeliebten Sohn. Den schickte er zuletzt zu ihnen; er sagte sich: 'Vor meinem Sohne werden sie doch Achtung haben.'
7 But ye husbandmen said among themselues, This is the heire: come, let vs kill him, and the inheritance shalbe ours.
Doch jene Winzer sprachen zueinander: 'Das ist der Erbe; kommt, den töten wir; dann gehört sein Erbteil uns.'
8 So they tooke him, and killed him, and cast him out of the vineyard.
Und sie ergriffen ihn und brachten ihn ums Leben und warfen ihn zum Weinberg hinaus.
9 What shall then the Lord of the vineyard doe? He will come and destroy these husbandmen, and giue the vineyard to others.
Was wird wohl der Herr des Weinbergs tun? Er wird kommen und die Winzer töten und seinen Weinberg anderen anvertrauen.
10 Haue ye not read so much as this Scripture? The stone which the builders did refuse, is made the head of the corner.
Habt ihr nie die Stelle in der Schrift gelesen: 'Der Stein, den die Bauleute verworfen haben, der ist zum Schlußstein geworden;
11 This was done of the Lord, and it is marueilous in our eyes.
durch den Herrn ist dies geschehen, und es ist wunderbar in unseren Augen?'"
12 Then they went about to take him, but they feared the people: for they perceiued that he spake that parable against them: therefore they left him, and went their way.
Sie hätten sich seiner gern bemächtigt; allein sie fürchteten sich vor dem Volke. Sie hatten nämlich wohl erkannt, daß dieses Gleichnis ihnen gelte. So ließen sie ihn stehen und gingen weg.
13 And they sent vnto him certaine of the Pharises, and of ye Herodians that they might take him in his talke.
Sie schickten alsdann einige von den Pharisäern und den Herodianern zu ihm, damit sie ihn mit einer Rede fangen sollten.
14 And when they came, they saide vnto him, Master, we know that thou art true, and carest for no man: for thou considerest not the person of men, but teachest the way of God truely, Is it lawfull to giue tribute to Cesar, or not?
Sie kamen und sagten zu ihm: "Meister, wir wissen, daß du wahrhaftig bist; du fragst nach niemand; du siehst nicht auf die Stellung der Menschen, sondern lehrst den Weg Gottes in Wahrheit: Darf man dem Kaiser Steuer zahlen oder nicht? Sollen wir bezahlen oder nicht?"
15 Should we giue it, or should we not giue it? but he knew their hypocrisie, and said vnto them, Why tempt ye me? Bring me a peny, that I may see it.
Doch er erkannte ihre Heuchelei und sprach zu ihnen: "Warum versucht ihr mich? Zeigt mir einen Denar, damit ich sehe."
16 So they brought it, and he said vnto them, Whose is this image and superscription? and they said vnto him, Cesars.
Sie reichten einen hin. Er fragte sie: "Wessen Bild und Aufschrift ist das?" "Des Kaisers", gaben sie ihm zur Antwort.
17 Then Iesus answered, and saide vnto them, Giue to Cesar the things that are Cesars, and to God, those that are Gods: and they marueiled at him.
Darauf entgegnete ihnen Jesus: "So gebt dem Kaiser, was des Kaisers, und Gott, was Gottes ist." Und sie staunten über ihn.
18 Then came the Sadduces vnto him, (which say, there is no resurrection) and they asked him, saying,
Jetzt kamen die Sadduzäer zu ihm; - diese leugnen, daß es eine Auferstehung gebe - sie fragten ihn:
19 Master, Moses wrote vnto vs, If any mans brother die, and leaue his wife, and leaue no children, that his brother should take his wife, and rayse vp seede vnto his brother.
"Meister, bei Moses steht geschrieben: 'Wenn irgend jemands Bruder stirbt und er ein Weib, doch kein Kind hinterläßt, dann soll der Bruder dessen Weib heiraten und seinem Bruder Nachkommen erwecken.'
20 There were seuen brethren, and the first tooke a wife, and when he died, left no issue.
Da waren sieben Brüder. Der erste nahm ein Weib; doch er starb kinderlos.
21 Then the seconde tooke her, and he died, neither did he yet leaue issue, and the third likewise:
Darauf nahm sie der zweite; allein auch er starb kinderlos und ebenso der dritte;
22 So those seuen had her, and left no yssue: last of all the wife died also.
alle sieben blieben kinderlos. Zuletzt von allen starb dann auch das Weib.
23 In the resurrection then, when they shall rise againe, whose wife shall she be of them? for seuen had her to wife.
Wessen Weib wird sie nun bei der Auferstehung sein; - gesetzt den Fall, daß sie wirklich auferstehen - denn alle sieben haben sie zum Weibe gehabt?"
24 Then Iesus answered, and saide vnto them, Are ye not therefore deceiued, because ye knowe not the Scriptures, neither the power of God?
Und Jesus sprach zu ihnen: "Liegt nicht schon darin euer Irrtum, daß ihr weder die Schriften noch die Allmacht Gottes kennt?
25 For when they shall rise againe from the dead, neither men marry, nor wiues are married, but are as the Angels which are in heauen.
Denn wenn man von den Toten aufersteht, dann heiratet man nicht mehr und wird auch nicht verheiratet; man ist vielmehr so wie die Engel in den Himmeln.
26 And as touching the dead, that they shall rise againe, haue ye not read in the booke of Moses, howe in the bush God spake vnto him, saying, I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Iacob?
Was aber die Auferstehung der Toten betrifft, habt ihr nicht im Buche Mosis gelesen, wie bei der Stelle von dem Dornbusch Gott zu ihm sprach: 'Ich bin der Gott Abrahams, der Gott Isaaks und der Gott Jakobs'?
27 God is not ye God of the dead, but the God of the liuing. Ye are therefore greatly deceiued.
Gott ist doch nicht ein Gott der Toten, sondern der Lebendigen. Ihr irrt euch also gewaltig."
28 Then came one of the Scribes that had heard them disputing together, and perceiuing that he had answered them well, he asked him, Which is the first commandement of all?
Ein Schriftgelehrter, der ihrem Wortstreit zugehört hatte und einsah, daß er ihnen gut erwidert hatte, trat herzu und fragte ihn: "Was ist das erste unter allen Geboten?"
29 Iesus answered him, The first of all the commandements is, Heare, Israel, The Lord our God is the onely Lord.
Und Jesus sprach: "Das erste ist: 'Höre, Israel, der Herr unser Gott ist allein der Herr.
30 Thou shalt therefore loue the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soule, and with all thy minde, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandement.
Du sollst den Herrn, deinen Gott, lieben aus deinem ganzen Herzen, aus deiner ganzen Seele, aus deinem ganzen Gemüte und deiner ganzen Kraft.' Dies ist das erste Gebot.
31 And the second is like, that is, Thou shalt loue thy neighbour as thy selfe. There is none other commandement greater then these.
Das zweite lautet: 'Du sollst deinen Nächsten lieben wie dich selbst.' Ein größeres Gebot als diese gibt es nicht."
32 Then that Scribe said vnto him, Well, Master, thou hast saide the trueth, that there is one God, and that there is none but he,
Da sprach zu ihm der Schriftgelehrte: "Vortrefflich, Meister! Ganz richtig hast du ausgeführt, daß er nur einer ist und daß kein anderer ist außer ihm.
33 And to loue him with all the heart, and with all the vnderstanding, and with all the soule, and with all the strength, and to loue his neighbour as himselfe, is more then all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.
Auch das 'Ihn lieben aus ganzem Herzen und aus ganzem Gemüte und aus aller Kraft', und das 'Du sollst den Nächsten lieben wie dich selbst', ist wertvoller als alle Brand- und anderen Opfer."
34 Then when Iesus saw that he answered discreetely, he saide vnto him, Thou art not farre from the kingdome of God. And no man after that durst aske him any question.
Als Jesus vernahm, wie er so verständig Antwort gab, sprach er zu ihm: "Du bist nicht mehr weit vom Reiche Gottes entfernt." Und keiner wagte mehr, ihn etwas zu fragen.
35 And Iesus answered and said teaching in the Temple, Howe say the Scribes that Christ is the sonne of Dauid?
Als Jesus dann im Tempel lehrte, fragte er: "Wie können die Schriftgelehrten sagen, der Christus sei der Sohn Davids?
36 For Dauid himselfe said by ye holy Ghost, The Lord said to my Lord, Sit at my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footestoole.
Sagt doch David selbst im Heiligen Geist: 'Es sprach der Herr zu meinem Herrn: Setze dich zu meiner Rechten, bis ich deine Feinde dir als Schemel zu Füßen lege.'
37 Then Dauid himselfe calleth him Lord: by what meanes is he then his sonne? and much people heard him gladly.
So nennt ihn David also selber 'Herr': Wie kann er dann sein Sohn sein?" Die große Menge hörte ihm gerne zu.
38 Moreouer he saide vnto them in his doctrine, Beware of the Scribes which loue to goe in long robes, and loue salutations in the markets,
Und weiter sagte er in seiner Lehre: "Hütet euch vor den Schriftgelehrten! Sie lieben es, in langen Kleidern einherzugehen, auf den öffentlichen Plätzen gegrüßt zu werden,
39 And the chiefe seates in the Synagogues, and the first roumes at feastes,
in der Synagoge die Ehrensitze einzunehmen und bei den Gastmählern die Ehrenplätze.
40 Which deuoure widowes houses, euen vnder a colour of long prayers. These shall receiue the greater damnation.
Sie verprassen die Häuser der Witwen und sagen nur zum Schein lange Gebete dafür her. Eine härtere Strafe erwartet diese."
41 And as Iesus sate ouer against the treasurie, he beheld how the people cast money into the treasurie, and many rich men cast in much.
Er saß dem Opferkasten gegenüber und schaute zu, wie das Volk in den Opferkasten sein Geld einwarf, und viele Reiche warfen viel hinein.
42 And there came a certaine poore widowe, and she threw in two mites, which make a quadrin.
Auch eine bettelarme Witwe kam herbei und warf zwei Heller ein, das heißt soviel wie einen Pfennig.
43 Then he called vnto him his disciples, and said vnto them, Verely I say vnto you, that this poore widowe hath cast more in, then all they which haue cast into the treasurie.
Da rief er seine Jünger zu sich her und sprach zu ihnen: "Wahrlich, ich sage euch: Diese arme Witwe gab mehr in den Opferkasten als alle anderen, die etwas hineingeworfen haben.
44 For they all did cast in of their superfluitie: but she of her pouertie did cast in all that she had, euen all her liuing.
Denn alle warfen von ihrem Überfluß hinein; sie aber gab in ihrer Armut alles, was sie hatte, ihren ganzen Lebensunterhalt."
