Malachi 4
1 For behold, the day commeth that shall burne as an ouen, and all the proude, yea, and all that doe wickedly, shall be stubble, and the day that commeth, shall burne them vp, sayeth the Lord of hostes, and shall leaue them neither roote nor branche.
“Porque he aquí que llega el día, ardiente como un horno, en que todos los soberbios y todos los que obran la maldad serán rastrojos. El día que viene los quemará”, dice el Señor de los Ejércitos, “de modo que no les dejará ni raíz ni rama.
2 But vnto you that feare my Name, shall the sunne of righteousnesse arise, and health shall be vnder his wings, and ye shall goe forth, and growe vp as fat calues.
Pero a ustedes, los que temen mi nombre, les saldrá el sol de la justicia con la curación en sus alas. Saldréis y saltaréis como terneros de la cuadra.
3 And ye shall treade downe the wicked: for they shall be dust vnder the soles of your feete in the day that I shall doe this, sayeth the Lord of hostes.
Aplastaréis a los impíos, porque serán cenizas bajo las plantas de vuestros pies en el día que yo haga”, dice el Señor de los Ejércitos.
4 Remember the lawe of Moses my seruant, which I commanded vnto him in Horeb for all Israel with the statutes and iudgements.
“Acuérdate de la ley de Moisés, mi siervo, que le ordené en Horeb para todo Israel, los estatutos y las ordenanzas.
5 Beholde, I will sende you Eliiah the Prophet before the comming of the great and fearefull day of the Lord.
He aquí que os envío al profeta Elías antes de que llegue el día grande y terrible de Yahvé.
6 And he shall turne the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with cursing.
Él hará que los corazones de los padres se vuelvan hacia los hijos y los corazones de los hijos hacia sus padres, no sea que yo venga y golpee la tierra con una maldición.”
