Luke 24
1 Nowe the first day of the weeke early in the morning, they came vnto the sepulchre, and brought the odours, which they had prepared, and certaine women with them.
அத² ஸப்தாஹப்ரத²மதி³நே(அ)திப்ரத்யூஷே தா யோஷித: ஸம்பாதி³தம்’ ஸுக³ந்தி⁴த்³ரவ்யம்’ க்³ரு’ஹீத்வா தத³ந்யாபி⁴: கியதீபி⁴: ஸ்த்ரீபி⁴: ஸஹ ஸ்²மஸா²நம்’ யயு: |
2 And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre,
கிந்து ஸ்²மஸா²நத்³வாராத் பாஷாணமபஸாரிதம்’ த்³ரு’ஷ்ட்வா
3 And went in, but found not the body of the Lord Iesus.
தா: ப்ரவிஸ்²ய ப்ரபோ⁴ ர்தே³ஹமப்ராப்ய
4 And it came to passe, that as they were amased thereat, beholde, two men suddenly stood by them in shining vestures.
வ்யாகுலா ப⁴வந்தி ஏதர்ஹி தேஜோமயவஸ்த்ராந்விதௌ த்³வௌ புருஷௌ தாஸாம்’ ஸமீபே ஸமுபஸ்தி²தௌ
5 And as they were afraide, and bowed downe their faces to the earth, they sayd to them, Why seeke ye him that liueth, among the dead?
தஸ்மாத்தா: ஸ²ங்காயுக்தா பூ⁴மாவதோ⁴முக்²யஸ்யஸ்து²: | ததா³ தௌ தா ஊசது ர்ம்ரு’தாநாம்’ மத்⁴யே ஜீவந்தம்’ குதோ ம்ரு’க³யத²?
6 He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake vnto you, when he was yet in Galile,
ஸோத்ர நாஸ்தி ஸ உத³ஸ்தா²த்|
7 Saying, that the sonne of man must be deliuered into the hands of sinfull men, and be crucified, and the third day rise againe.
பாபிநாம்’ கரேஷு ஸமர்பிதேந க்ருஸே² ஹதேந ச மநுஷ்யபுத்ரேண த்ரு’தீயதி³வஸே ஸ்²மஸா²நாது³த்தா²தவ்யம் இதி கதா²ம்’ ஸ க³லீலி திஷ்ட²ந் யுஷ்மப்⁴யம்’ கதி²தவாந் தாம்’ ஸ்மரத|
8 And they remembred his wordes,
ததா³ தஸ்ய ஸா கதா² தாஸாம்’ மந: ஸு ஜாதா|
9 And returned from the sepulchre, and tolde all these things vnto the eleuen, and to all the remnant.
அநந்தரம்’ ஸ்²மஸா²நாத்³ க³த்வா தா ஏகாத³ஸ²ஸி²ஷ்யாதி³ப்⁴ய: ஸர்வ்வேப்⁴யஸ்தாம்’ வார்த்தாம்’ கத²யாமாஸு: |
10 Now it was Mary Magdalene, and Ioanna, and Mary the mother of Iames, and other women with them, which tolde these things vnto the Apostles.
மக்³த³லீநீமரியம், யோஹநா, யாகூபோ³ மாதா மரியம் தத³ந்யா: ஸங்கி³ந்யோ யோஷிதஸ்²ச ப்ரேரிதேப்⁴ய ஏதா: ஸர்வ்வா வார்த்தா: கத²யாமாஸு:
11 But their wordes seemed vnto them, as a fained thing, neither beleeued they them.
கிந்து தாஸாம்’ கதா²ம் அநர்த²காக்²யாநமாத்ரம்’ பு³த்³த்⁴வா கோபி ந ப்ரத்யைத்|
12 Then arose Peter, and ran vnto the sepulchre, and looked in, and saw the linnen clothes laide by themselues, and departed wondering in himselfe at that which was come to passe.
ததா³ பிதர உத்தா²ய ஸ்²மஸா²நாந்திகம்’ த³தா⁴வ, தத்ர ச ப்ரஹ்வோ பூ⁴த்வா பார்ஸ்²வைகஸ்தா²பிதம்’ கேவலம்’ வஸ்த்ரம்’ த³த³ர்ஸ²; தஸ்மாதா³ஸ்²சர்ய்யம்’ மந்யமாநோ யத³க⁴டத தந்மநஸி விசாரயந் ப்ரதஸ்தே²|
13 And beholde, two of them went that same day to a towne which was from Hierusalem about threescore furlongs, called Emmaus.
தஸ்மிந்நேவ தி³நே த்³வௌ ஸி²ய்யௌ யிரூஸா²லமஸ்²சதுஷ்க்ரோஸா²ந்தரிதம் இம்மாயுக்³ராமம்’ க³ச்ச²ந்தௌ
14 And they talked together of al these things that were done.
தாஸாம்’ க⁴டநாநாம்’ கதா²மகத²யதாம்’
15 And it came to passe, as they communed together, and reasoned, that Iesus himselfe drewe neere, and went with them.
தயோராலாபவிசாரயோ: காலே யீஸு²ராக³த்ய தாப்⁴யாம்’ ஸஹ ஜகா³ம
16 But their eyes were holden, that they could not know him.
கிந்து யதா² தௌ தம்’ ந பரிசிநுதஸ்தத³ர்த²ம்’ தயோ ர்த்³ரு’ஷ்டி: ஸம்’ருத்³தா⁴|
17 And he sayd vnto them, What maner of communications are these that ye haue one to another as ye walke and are sad?
ஸ தௌ ப்ரு’ஷ்டவாந் யுவாம்’ விஷண்ணௌ கிம்’ விசாரயந்தௌ க³ச்ச²த²: ?
18 And the one (named Cleopas) answered, and sayd vnto him, Art thou onely a stranger in Hierusalem, and hast not knowen the things which are come to passe therein in these dayes?
ததஸ்தயோ: க்லியபாநாமா ப்ரத்யுவாச யிரூஸா²லமபுரே(அ)து⁴நா யாந்யக⁴டந்த த்வம்’ கேவலவிதே³ஸீ² கிம்’ தத்³வ்ரு’த்தாந்தம்’ ந ஜாநாஸி?
19 And he said vnto them, What things? And they sayd vnto him, Of Iesus of Nazareth, which was a Prophet, mightie in deede and in word before God, and all people,
ஸ பப்ரச்ச² கா க⁴டநா: ? ததா³ தௌ வக்துமாரேபா⁴தே யீஸு²நாமா யோ நாஸரதீயோ ப⁴விஷ்யத்³வாதீ³ ஈஸ்²வரஸ்ய மாநுஷாணாஞ்ச ஸாக்ஷாத் வாக்யே கர்ம்மணி ச ஸ²க்திமாநாஸீத்
20 And howe the hie Priests, and our rulers deliuered him to be condemned to death, and haue crucified him.
தம் அஸ்மாகம்’ ப்ரதா⁴நயாஜகா விசாரகாஸ்²ச கேநாபி ப்ரகாரேண க்ருஸே² வித்³த்⁴வா தஸ்ய ப்ராணாநநாஸ²யந் ததீ³யா க⁴டநா: ;
21 But we trusted that it had bene he that should haue deliuered Israel, and as touching all these things, to day is ye third day, that they were done.
கிந்து ய இஸ்ராயேலீயலோகாந் உத்³தா⁴ரயிஷ்யதி ஸ ஏவாயம் இத்யாஸா²ஸ்மாபி⁴: க்ரு’தா| தத்³யதா² ததா²ஸ்து தஸ்யா க⁴டநாயா அத்³ய தி³நத்ரயம்’ க³தம்’|
22 Yea, and certaine women among vs made vs astonied, which came early vnto the sepulchre.
அதி⁴கந்த்வஸ்மாகம்’ ஸங்கி³நீநாம்’ கியத்ஸ்த்ரீணாம்’ முகே²ப்⁴யோ(அ)ஸம்ப⁴வவாக்யமித³ம்’ ஸ்²ருதம்’;
23 And when they found not his body, they came, saying, that they had also seene a vision of Angels, which sayd, that he was aliue.
தா: ப்ரத்யூஷே ஸ்²மஸா²நம்’ க³த்வா தத்ர தஸ்ய தே³ஹம் அப்ராப்ய வ்யாகு⁴ட்யேத்வா ப்ரோக்தவத்ய: ஸ்வர்கீ³ஸதூ³தௌ த்³ரு’ஷ்டாவஸ்மாபி⁴ஸ்தௌ சாவாதி³ஷ்டாம்’ ஸ ஜீவிதவாந்|
24 Therefore certaine of them which were with vs, went to the sepulchre, and found it euen so as the women had sayd, but him they saw not.
ததோஸ்மாகம்’ கைஸ்²சித் ஸ்²மஸா²நமக³ம்யத தே(அ)பி ஸ்த்ரீணாம்’ வாக்யாநுரூபம்’ த்³ரு’ஷ்டவந்த: கிந்து தம்’ நாபஸ்²யந்|
25 Then he sayd vnto them, O fooles and slowe of heart to beleeue all that the Prophets haue spoken!
ததா³ ஸ தாவுவாச, ஹே அபோ³தௌ⁴ ஹே ப⁴விஷ்யத்³வாதி³பி⁴ருக்தவாக்யம்’ ப்ரத்யேதும்’ விலம்ப³மாநௌ;
26 Ought not Christ to haue suffered these things, and to enter into his glory?
ஏதத்ஸர்வ்வது³: க²ம்’ பு⁴க்த்வா ஸ்வபூ⁴திப்ராப்தி: கிம்’ க்²ரீஷ்டஸ்ய ந ந்யாய்யா?
27 And he began at Moses, and at all the Prophets, and interpreted vnto them in all the Scriptures the things which were written of him.
தத: ஸ மூஸாக்³ரந்த²மாரப்⁴ய ஸர்வ்வப⁴விஷ்யத்³வாதி³நாம்’ ஸர்வ்வஸா²ஸ்த்ரே ஸ்வஸ்மிந் லிகி²தாக்²யாநாபி⁴ப்ராயம்’ போ³த⁴யாமாஸ|
28 And they drew neere vnto ye towne, which they went to, but he made as though hee would haue gone further.
அத² க³ம்யக்³ராமாப்⁴யர்ணம்’ ப்ராப்ய தேநாக்³ரே க³மநலக்ஷணே த³ர்ஸி²தே
29 But they constrained him, saying, Abide with vs: for it is towards night, and the day is farre spent. So he went in to tarie with them.
தௌ ஸாத⁴யித்வாவத³தாம்’ ஸஹாவாப்⁴யாம்’ திஷ்ட² தி³நே க³தே ஸதி ராத்ரிரபூ⁴த்; தத: ஸ தாப்⁴யாம்’ ஸார்த்³த⁴ம்’ ஸ்தா²தும்’ க்³ரு’ஹம்’ யயௌ|
30 And it came to passe, as hee sate at table with them, he tooke the bread, and blessed, and brake it, and gaue it to them.
பஸ்²சாத்³போ⁴ஜநோபவேஸ²காலே ஸ பூபம்’ க்³ரு’ஹீத்வா ஈஸ்²வரகு³ணாந் ஜகா³த³ தஞ்ச ப⁴ம்’க்த்வா தாப்⁴யாம்’ த³தௌ³|
31 Then their eyes were opened, and they knewe him: and he was no more seene of them.
ததா³ தயோ ர்த்³ரு’ஷ்டௌ ப்ரஸந்நாயாம்’ தம்’ ப்ரத்யபி⁴ஜ்ஞது: கிந்து ஸ தயோ: ஸாக்ஷாத³ந்தர்த³தே⁴|
32 And they saide betweene themselues, Did not our heartes burne within vs, while he talked with vs by the way, and when he opened to vs the Scriptures?
ததஸ்தௌ மிதோ²பி⁴தா⁴தும் ஆரப்³த⁴வந்தௌ க³மநகாலே யதா³ கதா²மகத²யத் ஸா²ஸ்த்ரார்த²ஞ்சபோ³த⁴யத் ததா³வயோ ர்பு³த்³தி⁴: கிம்’ ந ப்ராஜ்வலத்?
33 And they rose vp the same houre, and returned to Hierusalem, and found the Eleuen gathered together, and them that were with them,
தௌ தத்க்ஷணாது³த்தா²ய யிரூஸா²லமபுரம்’ ப்ரத்யாயயது: , தத்ஸ்தா²நே ஸி²ஷ்யாணாம் ஏகாத³ஸா²நாம்’ ஸங்கி³நாஞ்ச த³ர்ஸ²நம்’ ஜாதம்’|
34 Which said, The Lord is risen in deede, and hath appeared to Simon.
தே ப்ரோசு: ப்ரபு⁴ருத³திஷ்ட²த்³ இதி ஸத்யம்’ ஸி²மோநே த³ர்ஸ²நமதா³ச்ச|
35 Then they tolde what things were done in the way, and howe he was knowen of them in breaking of bread.
தத: பத²: ஸர்வ்வக⁴டநாயா: பூபப⁴ஞ்ஜநேந தத்பரிசயஸ்ய ச ஸர்வ்வவ்ரு’த்தாந்தம்’ தௌ வக்துமாரேபா⁴தே|
36 And as they spake these things, Iesus himselfe stoode in the middes of them, and saide vnto them, Peace be to you.
இத்த²ம்’ தே பரஸ்பரம்’ வத³ந்தி தத்காலே யீஸு²: ஸ்வயம்’ தேஷாம்’ மத்⁴ய ப்ரோத்த²ய யுஷ்மாகம்’ கல்யாணம்’ பூ⁴யாத்³ இத்யுவாச,
37 But they were abashed and afraide, supposing that they had seene a spirit.
கிந்து பூ⁴தம்’ பஸ்²யாம இத்யநுமாய தே ஸமுத்³விவிஜிரே த்ரேஷுஸ்²ச|
38 Then he saide vnto them, Why are ye troubled? and wherefore doe doutes arise in your hearts?
ஸ உவாச, குதோ து³: கி²தா ப⁴வத²? யுஷ்மாகம்’ மந: ஸு ஸந்தே³ஹ உதே³தி ச குத: ?
39 Beholde mine handes and my feete: for it is I my selfe: handle me, and see: for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me haue.
ஏஷோஹம்’, மம கரௌ பஸ்²யத வரம்’ ஸ்ப்ரு’ஷ்ட்வா பஸ்²யத, மம யாத்³ரு’ஸா²நி பஸ்²யத² தாத்³ரு’ஸா²நி பூ⁴தஸ்ய மாம்’ஸாஸ்தீ²நி ந ஸந்தி|
40 And when he had thus spoken, he shewed them his hands and feete.
இத்யுக்த்வா ஸ ஹஸ்தபாதா³ந் த³ர்ஸ²யாமாஸ|
41 And while they yet beleeued not for ioy, and wondred, he saide vnto them, Haue ye here any meate?
தே(அ)ஸம்ப⁴வம்’ ஜ்ஞாத்வா ஸாநந்தா³ ந ப்ரத்யயந்| தத: ஸ தாந் பப்ரச்ச², அத்ர யுஷ்மாகம்’ ஸமீபே கா²த்³யம்’ கிஞ்சித³ஸ்தி?
42 And they gaue him a piece of a broyled fish, and of an honie combe,
ததஸ்தே கியத்³த³க்³த⁴மத்ஸ்யம்’ மது⁴ ச த³து³:
43 And hee tooke it, and did eate before them.
ஸ ததா³தா³ய தேஷாம்’ ஸாக்ஷாத்³ பு³பு⁴ஜே
44 And he saide vnto them, These are the wordes, which I spake vnto you while I was yet with you, that all must be fulfilled which are written of me in the Lawe of Moses, and in the Prophets, and in the Psalmes.
கத²யாமாஸ ச மூஸாவ்யவஸ்தா²யாம்’ ப⁴விஷ்யத்³வாதி³நாம்’ க்³ரந்தே²ஷு கீ³தபுஸ்தகே ச மயி யாநி ஸர்வ்வாணி வசநாநி லிகி²தாநி தத³நுரூபாணி க⁴டிஷ்யந்தே யுஷ்மாபி⁴: ஸார்த்³த⁴ம்’ ஸ்தி²த்வாஹம்’ யதே³தத்³வாக்யம் அவத³ம்’ ததி³தா³நீம்’ ப்ரத்யக்ஷமபூ⁴த்|
45 Then opened he their vnderstanding, that they might vnderstand the Scriptures,
அத² தேப்⁴ய: ஸா²ஸ்த்ரபோ³தா⁴தி⁴காரம்’ த³த்வாவத³த்,
46 And said vnto them, Thus is it written, and thus it behoued Christ to suffer, and to rise againe from the dead the third day,
க்²ரீஷ்டேநேத்த²ம்’ ம்ரு’தியாதநா போ⁴க்தவ்யா த்ரு’தீயதி³நே ச ஸ்²மஸா²நாது³த்தா²தவ்யஞ்சேதி லிபிரஸ்தி;
47 And that repentance, and remission of sinnes should be preached in his Name among all nations, beginning at Hierusalem.
தந்நாம்நா யிரூஸா²லமமாரப்⁴ய ஸர்வ்வதே³ஸே² மந: பராவர்த்தநஸ்ய பாபமோசநஸ்ய ச ஸுஸம்’வாத³: ப்ரசாரயிதவ்ய: ,
48 Nowe ye are witnesses of these things.
ஏஷு ஸர்வ்வேஷு யூயம்’ ஸாக்ஷிண: |
49 And beholde, I doe sende the promise of my Father vpon you: but tary ye in the citie of Hierusalem, vntill ye be endued with power from an hie.
அபரஞ்ச பஸ்²யத பித்ரா யத் ப்ரதிஜ்ஞாதம்’ தத் ப்ரேஷயிஷ்யாமி, அதஏவ யாவத்காலம்’ யூயம்’ ஸ்வர்கீ³யாம்’ ஸ²க்திம்’ ந ப்ராப்ஸ்யத² தாவத்காலம்’ யிரூஸா²லம்நக³ரே திஷ்ட²த|
50 Afterward he lead them out into Bethania, and lift vp his hands, and blessed them.
அத² ஸ தாந் பை³த²நீயாபர்ய்யந்தம்’ நீத்வா ஹஸ்தாவுத்தோல்ய ஆஸி²ஷ வக்துமாரேபே⁴
51 And it came to passe, that as he blessed them, he departed from them, and was caried vp into heauen.
ஆஸி²ஷம்’ வத³ந்நேவ ச தேப்⁴ய: ப்ரு’த²க்³ பூ⁴த்வா ஸ்வர்கா³ய நீதோ(அ)ப⁴வத்|
52 And they worshipped him, and returned to Hierusalem with great ioy,
ததா³ தே தம்’ ப⁴ஜமாநா மஹாநந்தே³ந யிரூஸா²லமம்’ ப்ரத்யாஜக்³மு: |
53 And were continually in the Temple, praysing, and lauding God, Amen.
ததோ நிரந்தரம்’ மந்தி³ரே திஷ்ட²ந்த ஈஸ்²வரஸ்ய ப்ரஸ²ம்’ஸாம்’ த⁴ந்யவாத³ஞ்ச கர்த்தம் ஆரேபி⁴ரே| இதி||
