< Luke 20 >

1 And it came to passe, that on one of those dayes, as he taught the people in the Temple, and preached the Gospel, the hie Priests and the Scribes came vpon him with the Elders,
Nikhat Yeshuan mipi thu ahil'a Kipana Thupha houin'a aseiphong laiyin, thempu pipui ho, hou danthu hil ho, chule upa ho cheng ahengah ahungun.
2 And spake vnto him, saying, Tell vs by what authoritie thou doest these things, or who is hee that hath giuen thee this authoritie?
“Ipi thuneina noiya nangman hiche hohi nabol ham? Kon thaneina napeh ham?” tin ahung dong uve.
3 And he answered, and sayde vnto them, I also will aske you one thing: tell me therefore:
“Ken thudoh khat nanei masauvinge” tin adonbut in,
4 The baptisme of Iohn, was it from heauen, or of men?
“Twilutsah John thaneina chu van'a kon ham ahilouleh mihem a kon ham?” tin adongtai.
5 And they reasoned within themselues, saying, If we shall say, From heauen, he will say, Why then beleeued ye him not?
Amaho akihouvun, “Van'a kon ahi tileu hen, ibol'a John natahsan lou u ham eiti kit diu.
6 But if we shall say, Of men, all the people will stone vs: for they be perswaded that Iohn was a Prophet.
Ahin iham tin mihem a kon ahi tileu hen, mipin songa eise kit diu, ajehchu John chu themgao ahi tia apom'u ahi” akitiuvin ahi.
7 Therefore they answered, that they could not tell whence it was.
Hijeh chun achainakeiyin kahepouve tin ahin donbut tauve.
8 Then Iesus sayd vnto them, Neither tell I you, by what authoritie I doe these things.
Chuin Yeshuan adonbut in, “Achutileh kenjong ipi thuneina noiya kabol ham ti naseipeh pouvinge,” ati. Lengpi-Lei Le Alei Lhouho Thulem
9 Then began he to speake to ye people this parable, A certaine man planted a vineyarde, and let it forth to husbandmen: and went into a strange countrey, for a great time.
Tun Yeshuan mipi lam angakit in hiche thusim hi aseipeh e: Mikhat hin lengpilei abol in, aloulhou miho komah apedoh in, gamdang khat ah kumsottah tham dingin achetai.
10 And at the time conuenient he sent a seruant to the husbandmen, that they should giue him of the fruite of the vineyard: but the husbandmen did beate him, and sent him away emptie.

13 Then sayd the Lord of the vineyard, What shall I doe? I will send my beloued sonne: it may be that they will doe reuerence, when they see him.
“Ipi kabol ding hitam?” tin louneipa akihoulim in ahi. “Kahetai! Keiman kachapa kasahlut tah hi sol'inge. Tahbeh in jana hinpe nauvinte” ati.
14 But when the husbandmen sawe him, they reasoned with themselues, saying, This is the heire: come, let vs kill him, that the inheritance may be ours.
Ahinlah, aloulhou hon achapa amu phat un, amaho akihou som'un, “Agoulo ding pa ahunge, thatdoh utin agoulo ding hi eiho chang tauhite!” akitiuve.
15 So they cast him out of the vineyarde, and killed him. What shall the Lord of the vineyarde therefore doe vnto them?
Hijeh chun ama chu lengpilei pam langah akaidoh un athat tauve. “Lengpilei neipa chun amaho chungah ipi bol'in te tia nangaitouvam?” tin Yeshuan ahin dongin,
16 He will come and destroy these husbandmen, and wil giue out his vineyard to others. But when they heard it, they sayd, God forbid.
“Naseipeh unge–ama hungin tin loulhou ho chu athadoh a lengpilei chu midang asan sah ding ahitai” ati. “Iti khoh hitam chutobang thil aso jeng ding chu,” atiuvin athusei jaho chun ahin donbut uve.
17 And he beheld them, and said, What meaneth this then that is written, The stone that the builders refused, that is made the head of the corner?
Yeshuan amaho chu aven aseitai, “Achutileh, Pathen Lekhabun ipi ati naham? Insa hon apaidoh u song chu Inning songpin apangtai,”
18 Whosoeuer shall fall vpon that stone, shall be broken: and on whomsoeuer it shall fall, it will grinde him to pouder.
“Hiche songpia kipal jouse chu ahal hal'a keh ding, chule achunga lhu chu ipi hijong leh chip ding ahi” ati.
19 Then the hie Priests, and the Scribes the same houre went about to lay hands on him: (but they feared the people) for they perceiued that he had spoken this parable against them.
Hou danthuhil ho le thempu pipuihon Yeshua chu kintah a matding adeilheh un ahi ajeh chu athusim seichu amaho kiseina ahi ahin kihetdoh u ahitai–amaho chu loulhou agilou hochu hiuvah ahi. Ahivangin mipi ho lethuh na chu akichauvin ahi.

21 And they asked him, saying, Master, we know that thou sayest, and teachest right, neither doest thou accept mans person, but teachest the way of God truely.

22 Is it lawfull for vs to giue Cesar tribute or no?

23 But he perceiued their craftines, and sayd vnto them, Why tempt ye me?
Aman alungthim bol'u ahichu ahen aseitai,
24 Shew me a penie. Whose image and superscription hath it? They answered, and sayd, Cesars.
“Rome te sumpum khat neivetsah'un. Koi lim le thucheng kijih ham achunga chu?” tin adongtai. Amahon adonbut un, “Caesar a ahi,” atiuve.
25 Then he sayd vnto them, Giue then vnto Cesar the things which are Cesars, and to God those which are Gods.
Aman asei kit in, “Aphai ahileh, Caesar a chu Caesar peuvin lang Pathen a chu Pathen peuvin,” ati.
26 And they could not reproue his saying before the people: but they marueiled at his answere, and helde their peace.

27 Then came to him certaine of the Sadduces (which denie that there is any resurrection) and they asked him,
Chuin Yeshua chu Sadducee–hou lamkai, thokitna aumpoi tihon kimupi din ahin naiyun ahi.
28 Saying, Master, Moses wrote vnto vs, If any mans brother die hauing a wife, and hee die without children, that his brother should take his wife, and raise vp seede vnto his brother.
Hiche thudoh hi adongun ahi: “Houhil, Mosen dan khat eipeuvin, mikhat chu athia ajinu adalhah'a chaneilou ahileh, asopipan hiche meithai chu akichenpi ding, cha aneipi ding hichun asopipa min apoh ding ahi.
29 Now there were seuen brethren, and the first tooke a wife, and he dyed without children.
Aphai, tun tekahnan ucha pasal sagi aume. A'upen ajineiyin cha neilouvin athitai.
30 And the second tooke the wife, and he dyed childelesse.

32 And last of all the woman dyed also.

33 Therefore at the resurrection, whose wife of them shall she be? for seuen had her to wife.
Hijeh chun neiseipeh un, thokitna'a chu koi ji a pang ding ham? Ajeh chu asagiuva chu akichenpi cheh u anahi!”
34 Then Iesus answered, and sayd vnto them, The children of this world marry wiues, and are married. (aiōn g165)
Yeshuan adonbut in, “Kichen hi hiche leiset chunga cheng miho ding bou ahi.” (aiōn g165)
35 But they which shalbe counted worthy to enioy that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry wiues, neither are married. (aiōn g165)
Ahin, ahung lhung ding khang'ah, athilah a kona thoudoh dinga lom ho chu akicheng tapouvin chule chen jong akichensah tapouve. (aiōn g165)
36 For they can die no more, forasmuch as they are equall vnto the Angels, and are the sonnes of God, since they are the children of the resurrection.
Chule amaho thikit talou diu, hitia chu amaho van'a Vantilte tobang hidiu ahitai. Amaho Pathen chate ahitauvin chule thoukit chate ahitauve.
37 And that the dead shall rise againe, euen Moses shewed it besides the bush, when he said, The Lord is the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Iacob.
“Ahin tun, mithi thoukit mong ding hinam ti thudol ah”—Mose jengin jong nanglah meikong thudol asut chun avetsah in ahi. Abraham, Isaac, le Jacob thijou phat sottah jou nungin, Pakai chu Abraham Pathen, Isaac Pathen, Jacob Pathen tia akou ahi.

“Hijeh a chu ama chu ahingho Pathen ahin, athiho a hilou ahi, ajeh chu amaho abonchauva ama'a hingah ahitauve.”
39 Then certaine of the Scribes answered, and sayd, Master, thou hast well sayd.
Chukom mun'a ding, hou danthu hil ho phabep khat chun, “Nasei hoiye, houhil” atiuve.
40 And after that, durst they not aske him any thing at all.
Chule koiman thudoh adong ngam tapouvin ahi.
41 Then sayd he vnto them, Howe say they that Christ is Dauids sonne?
Chuin Yeshuan thudoh toh thon hiche hi aseipeh kit e, “Ipi jeh a Messiah chu David chapa kiti ding ham?”
42 And Dauid himselfe sayth in the booke of the Psalmes, The Lord sayd vnto my Lord, Sit at my right hand,
Ajeh chu David amatah in jong Labu'a anajihlut ahi: “Pakai in ka Pakai jah'a, Kajet lam'a kijana mun'ah touvin,”

44 Seeing Dauid called him Lord, howe is he then his sonne?

45 Then in the audience of all the people he sayd vnto his disciples,
Chuin mihonpi jah dingin, aseijuite kom langah akiheiyin aseitai,
46 Beware of the Scribes, which willingly go in long robes, and loue salutations in the markets, and the highest seates in the assemblies, and the chiefe roomes at feastes:
