Luke 15
1 Then resorted vnto him all the Publicanes and sinners, to heare him.
௧எல்லா வரி வசூலிப்பவர்களும் பாவிகளும் அவருடைய வசனங்களைக் கேட்கும்படி அவரிடத்தில் வந்துசேர்ந்தார்கள்.
2 Therefore the Pharises and Scribes murmured, saying, Hee receiueth sinners, and eateth with them.
௨அப்பொழுது பரிசேயர்களும் வேதபண்டிதர்களும் முறுமுறுத்து: இவர் பாவிகளை ஏற்றுக்கொண்டு அவர்களோடு சாப்பிடுகிறார் என்றார்கள்.
3 Then spake hee this parable to them, saying,
௩அவர்களுக்கு அவர் சொன்ன உவமையாவது:
4 What man of you hauing an hundreth sheepe, if hee lose one of them, doeth not leaue ninetie and nine in the wildernesse, and goe after that which is lost, vntill he finde it?
௪உங்களில் ஒரு மனிதன் நூறு ஆடுகளை உடையவனாக இருந்து, அவைகளில் ஒன்று காணாமற்போனால், தொண்ணூற்றொன்பது ஆடுகளையும் வனாந்திரத்திலேவிட்டு, காணாமற்போன ஆட்டைக் கண்டுபிடிக்கும்வரை தேடித்திரியானோ?
5 And when he hath found it, he laieth it on his shoulders with ioye.
௫கண்டுபிடித்தபின்பு, அவன் மகிழ்ச்சியோடு அதைத் தன் தோள்களின்மேல் போட்டுக்கொண்டு,
6 And when he commeth home, he calleth together his friendes and neighbours, saying vnto them, Reioyce with mee: for I haue founde my sheepe which was lost.
௬வீட்டிற்கு வந்து, நண்பர்களையும் அண்டைகுடும்பத்தாரையும் கூட வரவழைத்து: காணாமற்போன என் ஆட்டைக் கண்டுபிடித்தேன், என்னோடுகூட மகிழுங்கள் என்பான் அல்லவா?
7 I say vnto you, that likewise ioy shall be in heauen for one sinner that conuerteth, more then for ninetie and nine iust men, which neede none amendment of life.
௭அதுபோல, மனந்திரும்ப அவசியமில்லாத தொண்ணூற்றொன்பது நீதிமான்களைக்குறித்து மகிழ்ச்சி உண்டாகிறதைவிட மனந்திரும்புகிற ஒரே பாவியினிமித்தம் பரலோகத்தில் மிகுந்த மகிழ்ச்சி உண்டாயிருக்கும் என்று உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன்.
8 Either what woman hauing ten groates, if she lose one groate, doth not light a candle, and sweepe the house, and seeke diligently till shee finde it?
௮அன்றியும், ஒரு பெண் பத்து வெள்ளிக்காசுகளை உடையவளாக இருந்து, அதில் ஒரு வெள்ளிக்காசு காணாமற்போனால், விளக்கைக் கொளுத்தி, வீட்டைப் பெருக்கி, அதைக் கண்டுபிடிக்கிறவரைக்கும் அக்கறையோடு தேடாமலிருப்பாளோ?
9 And when shee hath found it, shee calleth her friendes, and neighbours, saying, Reioyce with me: for I haue found the groate which I had lost.
௯கண்டுபிடித்தபின்பு, தன் தோழிகளையும் அண்டை வீட்டுக்காரிகளையும் கூட வரவழைத்து: காணாமற்போன வெள்ளிக்காசைக் கண்டுபிடித்தேன், என்னோடுகூட மகிழ்ச்சியாக இருங்கள் என்பாள் அல்லவா?
10 Likewise I say vnto you, there is ioy in the presence of the Angels of God, for one sinner that conuerteth.
௧0அதுபோல மனந்திரும்புகிற ஒரே பாவியினிமித்தம் தேவனுடைய தூதர்களுக்கு முன்பாக மகிழ்ச்சி உண்டாயிருக்கிறது என்று உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன் என்றார்.
11 He sayde moreouer, A certaine man had two sonnes.
௧௧பின்னும் அவர் சொன்னது: ஒரு மனிதனுக்கு இரண்டு குமாரர்கள் இருந்தார்கள்.
12 And the yonger of them sayde to his father, Father, giue mee the portion of the goods that falleth to mee. So he deuided vnto them his substance.
௧௨அவர்களில் இளையவன் தகப்பனை நோக்கி: தகப்பனே, சொத்தில் எனக்கு வரும் பங்கை எனக்குத் தரவேண்டும் என்றான். அந்தப்படி அவன் அவர்களுக்குத் தன் சொத்தை பங்கிட்டுக்கொடுத்தான்.
13 So not many daies after, when the yonger sonne had gathered all together, hee tooke his iourney into a farre countrey, and there hee wasted his goods with riotous liuing.
௧௩சில நாட்களுக்குப்பின்பு, இளையமகன் தன் சொத்தைவிற்று பணத்தை திரட்டிக்கொண்டு, தூரதேசத்திற்குப் புறப்பட்டுப்போய், அங்கே துன்மார்க்கமாக வாழ்ந்து, தன் சொத்தை அழித்துப்போட்டான்.
14 Nowe when hee had spent all, there arose a great dearth throughout that land, and he began to be in necessitie.
௧௪எல்லாவற்றையும் அவன் செலவழித்தபின்பு, அந்த தேசத்திலே கொடிய பஞ்சமுண்டானது. அப்பொழுது அவன் வறுமைக்குள்ளானான்,
15 Then hee went and claue to a citizen of that conntrey, and hee sent him to his farme, to feede swine.
௧௫அந்த தேசத்துக் குடிகளில் ஒருவனிடத்தில்போய் வேலையில் சேர்ந்தான். அந்தக் குடியானவன் அவனைத் தன் வயல்களில் பன்றிகளை மேய்க்கும்படி அனுப்பினான்.
16 And hee would faine haue filled his bellie with the huskes, that the swine ate: but no man gaue them him.
௧௬அப்பொழுது பன்றிகள் தின்கிற தவிட்டினாலே தன் பசியைதீர்க்க ஆசையாக இருந்தான், ஒருவனும் அதை அவனுக்குக் கொடுக்கவில்லை.
17 Then he came to him selfe, and said, Howe many hired seruaunts at my fathers haue bread ynough, and I die for hunger?
௧௭அவனுக்குப் புத்தி தெளிந்தபோது, அவன்: என் தகப்பனுடைய வேலைக்காரர்கள் எத்தனையோ பேருக்கு நிறைவான உணவு இருக்கிறது, நானோ பசியினால் சாகிறேன்.
18 I wil rise and goe to my father, and say vnto him, Father, I haue sinned against heaue, and before thee,
௧௮நான் எழுந்து என் தகப்பனிடத்திற்குப்போய்: தகப்பனே, பரலோகத்திற்கு விரோதமாகவும் உமக்கு முன்பாகவும் பாவம் செய்தேன்.
19 And am no more worthy to be called thy sonne: make me as one of thy hired seruants.
௧௯இனிமேல் உம்முடைய குமாரன் என்று சொல்லப்படுவதற்கு நான் தகுதியற்றவன், உம்முடைய வேலைக்காரர்களில் ஒருவனாக என்னை வைத்துக்கொள்ளும் என்பேன் என்று சொல்லி;
20 So hee arose and came to his father, and when hee was yet a great way off, his father sawe him, and had compassion, and ranne and fell on his necke, and kissed him.
௨0எழுந்து புறப்பட்டு, தன் தகப்பனிடத்தில் வந்தான். அவன் தூரத்தில் வரும்போதே, அவனுடைய தகப்பன் அவனைக் கண்டு, மனதுருகி, ஓடி, அவன் கழுத்தைக் கட்டிக்கொண்டு, அவனை முத்தம்செய்தான்.
21 And the sonne sayde vnto him, Father, I haue sinned against heauen, and before thee, and am no more worthie to be called thy sonne.
௨௧குமாரன் தகப்பனை நோக்கி: தகப்பனே பரலோகத்திற்கு விரோதமாகவும், உமக்கு முன்பாகவும் பாவம் செய்தேன், இனிமேல் உம்முடைய குமாரன் என்று சொல்லப்படுவதற்கு நான் தகுதியற்றவன் என்று சொன்னான்.
22 Then the father said to his seruaunts, Bring foorth the best robe, and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feete,
௨௨அப்பொழுது தகப்பன் தன் வேலைக்காரர்களை நோக்கி: நீங்கள் உயர்ந்த ஆடைகளை கொண்டுவந்து இவனுக்கு உடுத்தி இவன் கைக்கு மோதிரத்தையும் கால்களுக்குப் பாதரட்சைகளையும் போடுங்கள்.
23 And bring the fat calfe, and kill him, and let vs eate, and be merie:
௨௩கொழுத்தக் கன்றைக் கொண்டுவந்து அடியுங்கள். நாம் விருந்து கொண்டாடுவோம்.
24 For this my sonne was dead, and is aliue againe: and he was lost, but he is found. And they began to be merie.
௨௪என் குமாரனாகிய இவன் மரித்தான், திரும்பவும் உயிர்த்தான்; காணாமற்போனான், திரும்பவும் காணப்பட்டான் என்றான். அப்படியே அவர்கள் கொண்டாடத் தொடங்கினார்கள்.
25 Nowe the elder brother was in the fielde, and when he came and drewe neere to the house, he heard melodie, and dauncing,
௨௫அவனுடைய மூத்தகுமாரன் வயலில் இருந்தான். அவன் திரும்பி வீட்டிற்கு அருகில் வருகிறபோது, கீதவாத்தியத்தையும் நடனக்களிப்பையும் கேட்டு;
26 And called one of his seruaunts, and asked what those things meant.
௨௬வேலைக்காரர்களில் ஒருவனை அழைத்து: இதென்ன என்று விசாரித்தான்.
27 And hee sayde vnto him, Thy brother is come, and thy father hath killed the fatte calfe, because he hath receiued him safe and sound.
௨௭அதற்கு அவன்: உம்முடைய சகோதரன் வந்தார், அவர் மறுபடியும் சுகத்துடனே உம்முடைய தகப்பனிடத்தில் வந்து சேர்ந்தபடியினாலே அவருக்காகக் கொழுத்தக் கன்றை அடித்திருக்கிறார் என்றான்.
28 Then he was angry, and would not goe in: therefore came his father out and entreated him.
௨௮அப்பொழுது அவன் கோபமடைந்து உள்ளே போக விருப்பமில்லாதிருந்தான். தகப்பனோ வெளியே வந்து அவனை வருந்தி அழைத்தான்.
29 But he answered and said to his father, Loe, these many yeeres haue I done thee seruice, neither brake I at any time thy commadement, and yet thou neuer gauest mee a kidde that I might make merie with my friends.
௨௯அவன் தகப்பனுக்கு மறுமொழியாக: இதோ, இத்தனை வருடகாலமாக நான் உமக்கு வேலைச்செய்து, எப்பொழுதுமே எல்லாவற்றிலும் உம்முடைய வார்த்தைகளுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிந்திருந்தும், என் நண்பர்களோடு நான் மகிழ்ச்சியாக இருக்கும்படி நீர் ஒருபோதும் எனக்கு ஒரு ஆட்டுக்குட்டியையாவது கொடுக்கவில்லை.
30 But when this thy sonne was come, which hath deuoured thy good with harlots, thou hast for his sake killed the fat calfe.
௩0வேசிகளிடத்தில் உம்முடைய சொத்துக்களை அழித்துப்போட்ட உம்முடைய குமாரனாகிய இவன் வந்தவுடனே கொழுத்தக் கன்றை இவனுக்காக அடிப்பித்தீரே என்றான்.
31 And he said vnto him, Sonne, thou art euer with me, and al that I haue, is thine.
௩௧அதற்குத் தகப்பன்: மகனே, நீ எப்போதும் என்னோடு இருக்கிறாய், எனக்குள்ளதெல்லாம் உன்னுடையதாக இருக்கிறது.
32 It was meete that we shoulde make merie, and be glad: for this thy brother was dead, and is aliue againe: and hee was lost, but he is found.
௩௨உன் சகோதரனாகிய இவனோ மரித்தான், திரும்பவும் உயிர்த்தான்; காணாமற்போனான், திரும்பவும் காணப்பட்டான்; ஆனபடியினாலே, நாம் கொண்டாடி மகிழ்ச்சியாக இருக்கவேண்டுமே என்று சொன்னான் என்றார்.
