Luke 15
1 Then resorted vnto him all the Publicanes and sinners, to heare him.
ตทา กรสญฺจายิน: ปาปินศฺจ โลกา อุปเทศฺกถำ โศฺรตุํ ยีโศ: สมีปมฺ อาคจฺฉนฺฯ
2 Therefore the Pharises and Scribes murmured, saying, Hee receiueth sinners, and eateth with them.
ตต: ผิรูศิน อุปาธฺยายาศฺจ วิวทมานา: กถยามาสุ: เอษ มานุษ: ปาปิภิ: สห ปฺรณยํ กฺฤตฺวา ไต: สารฺทฺธํ ภุํกฺเตฯ
3 Then spake hee this parable to them, saying,
ตทา ส เตภฺย อิมำ ทฺฤษฺฏานฺตกถำ กถิตวานฺ,
4 What man of you hauing an hundreth sheepe, if hee lose one of them, doeth not leaue ninetie and nine in the wildernesse, and goe after that which is lost, vntill he finde it?
กสฺยจิตฺ ศตเมเษษุ ติษฺฐตฺมุ เตษาเมกํ ส ยทิ หารยติ ตรฺหิ มเธฺยปฺรานฺตรมฺ เอโกนศตเมษานฺ วิหาย หาริตเมษสฺย อุทฺเทศปฺราปฺติปรฺยฺยนตํ น คเวษยติ, เอตาทฺฤโศ โลโก ยุษฺมากํ มเธฺย ก อาเสฺต?
5 And when he hath found it, he laieth it on his shoulders with ioye.
ตโสฺยทฺเทศํ ปฺราปฺย หฺฤษฺฏมนาสฺตํ สฺกนฺเธ นิธาย สฺวสฺถานมฺ อานีย พนฺธุพานฺธวสมีปวาสิน อาหูย วกฺติ,
6 And when he commeth home, he calleth together his friendes and neighbours, saying vnto them, Reioyce with mee: for I haue founde my sheepe which was lost.
หาริตํ เมษํ ปฺราปฺโตหมฺ อโต เหโต รฺมยา สารฺทฺธมฺ อานนฺทตฯ
7 I say vnto you, that likewise ioy shall be in heauen for one sinner that conuerteth, more then for ninetie and nine iust men, which neede none amendment of life.
ตทฺวทหํ ยุษฺมานฺ วทามิ, เยษำ มน: ปราวรฺตฺตนสฺย ปฺรโยชนํ นาสฺติ, ตาทฺฤไศโกนศตธารฺมฺมิกการณาทฺ ย อานนฺทสฺตสฺมาทฺ เอกสฺย มน: ปริวรฺตฺติน: ปาปิน: การณาตฺ สฺวรฺเค 'ธิกานนฺโท ชายเตฯ
8 Either what woman hauing ten groates, if she lose one groate, doth not light a candle, and sweepe the house, and seeke diligently till shee finde it?
อปรญฺจ ทศานำ รูปฺยขณฺฑานามฺ เอกขณฺเฑ หาริเต ปฺรทีปํ ปฺรชฺวาลฺย คฺฤหํ สมฺมารฺชฺย ตสฺย ปฺราปฺตึ ยาวทฺ ยตฺเนน น คเวษยติ, เอตาทฺฤศี โยษิตฺ กาเสฺต?
9 And when shee hath found it, shee calleth her friendes, and neighbours, saying, Reioyce with me: for I haue found the groate which I had lost.
ปฺราปฺเต สติ พนฺธุพานฺธวสมีปวาสินีราหูย กถยติ, หาริตํ รูปฺยขณฺฑํ ปฺราปฺตาหํ ตสฺมาเทว มยา สารฺทฺธมฺ อานนฺทตฯ
10 Likewise I say vnto you, there is ioy in the presence of the Angels of God, for one sinner that conuerteth.
ตทฺวทหํ ยุษฺมานฺ วฺยาหรามิ, เอเกน ปาปินา มนสิ ปริวรฺตฺติเต, อีศฺวรสฺย ทูตานำ มเธฺยปฺยานนฺโท ชายเตฯ
11 He sayde moreouer, A certaine man had two sonnes.
อปรญฺจ ส กถยามาส, กสฺยจิทฺ เทฺวา ปุตฺราวาสฺตำ,
12 And the yonger of them sayde to his father, Father, giue mee the portion of the goods that falleth to mee. So he deuided vnto them his substance.
ตโย: กนิษฺฐ: ปุตฺร: ปิเตฺร กถยามาส, เห ปิตสฺตว สมฺปตฺตฺยา ยมํศํ ปฺราปฺสฺยามฺยหํ วิภชฺย ตํ เทหิ, ตต: ปิตา นิชำ สมฺปตฺตึ วิภชฺย ตาภฺยำ ทเทาฯ
13 So not many daies after, when the yonger sonne had gathered all together, hee tooke his iourney into a farre countrey, and there hee wasted his goods with riotous liuing.
กติปยาตฺ กาลาตฺ ปรํ ส กนิษฺฐปุตฺร: สมสฺตํ ธนํ สํคฺฤหฺย ทูรเทศํ คตฺวา ทุษฺฏาจรเณน สรฺวฺวำ สมฺปตฺตึ นาศยามาสฯ
14 Nowe when hee had spent all, there arose a great dearth throughout that land, and he began to be in necessitie.
ตสฺย สรฺวฺวธเน วฺยยํ คเต ตทฺเทเศ มหาทุรฺภิกฺษํ พภูว, ตตสฺตสฺย ไทนฺยทศา ภวิตุมฺ อาเรเภฯ
15 Then hee went and claue to a citizen of that conntrey, and hee sent him to his farme, to feede swine.
ตต: ปรํ ส คตฺวา ตทฺเทศียํ คฺฤหสฺถเมกมฺ อาศฺรยต; ตต: สตํ ศูกรวฺรชํ จารยิตุํ ปฺรานฺตรํ เปฺรษยามาสฯ
16 And hee would faine haue filled his bellie with the huskes, that the swine ate: but no man gaue them him.
เกนาปิ ตไสฺม ภกฺษฺยาทานาตฺ ส ศูกรผลวลฺกเลน ปิจิณฺฑปูรณำ ววาญฺฉฯ
17 Then he came to him selfe, and said, Howe many hired seruaunts at my fathers haue bread ynough, and I die for hunger?
เศเษ ส มนสิ เจตนำ ปฺราปฺย กถยามาส, หา มม ปิตุ: สมีเป กติ กติ เวตนภุโช ทาสา ยเถษฺฏํ ตโตธิกญฺจ ภกฺษฺยํ ปฺราปฺนุวนฺติ กินฺตฺวหํ กฺษุธา มุมูรฺษุ: ฯ
18 I wil rise and goe to my father, and say vnto him, Father, I haue sinned against heaue, and before thee,
อหมุตฺถาย ปิตุ: สมีปํ คตฺวา กถาเมตำ วทิษฺยามิ, เห ปิตรฺ อีศฺวรสฺย ตว จ วิรุทฺธํ ปาปมกรวมฺ
19 And am no more worthy to be called thy sonne: make me as one of thy hired seruants.
ตว ปุตฺรอิติ วิขฺยาโต ภวิตุํ น โยโคฺยสฺมิ จ, มำ ตว ไวตนิกํ ทาสํ กฺฤตฺวา สฺถาปยฯ
20 So hee arose and came to his father, and when hee was yet a great way off, his father sawe him, and had compassion, and ranne and fell on his necke, and kissed him.
ปศฺจาตฺ ส อุตฺถาย ปิตุ: สมีปํ ชคาม; ตตสฺตสฺย ปิตาติทูเร ตํ นิรีกฺษฺย ทยาญฺจเกฺร, ธาวิตฺวา ตสฺย กณฺฐํ คฺฤหีตฺวา ตํ จุจุมฺพ จฯ
21 And the sonne sayde vnto him, Father, I haue sinned against heauen, and before thee, and am no more worthie to be called thy sonne.
ตทา ปุตฺร อุวาจ, เห ปิตรฺ อีศฺวรสฺย ตว จ วิรุทฺธํ ปาปมกรวํ, ตว ปุตฺรอิติ วิขฺยาโต ภวิตุํ น โยโคฺยสฺมิ จฯ
22 Then the father said to his seruaunts, Bring foorth the best robe, and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feete,
กินฺตุ ตสฺย ปิตา นิชทาสานฺ อาทิเทศ, สรฺโวฺวตฺตมวสฺตฺราณฺยานีย ปริธาปยไตนํ หเสฺต จางฺคุรียกมฺ อรฺปยต ปาทโยศฺโจปานเหา สมรฺปยต;
23 And bring the fat calfe, and kill him, and let vs eate, and be merie:
ปุษฺฏํ โควตฺสมฺ อานีย มารยต จ ตํ ภุกฺตฺวา วยมฺ อานนฺทามฯ
24 For this my sonne was dead, and is aliue againe: and he was lost, but he is found. And they began to be merie.
ยโต มม ปุโตฺรยมฺ อมฺริยต ปุนรชีวีทฺ หาริตศฺจ ลพฺโธภูตฺ ตตสฺต อานนฺทิตุมฺ อาเรภิเรฯ
25 Nowe the elder brother was in the fielde, and when he came and drewe neere to the house, he heard melodie, and dauncing,
ตตฺกาเล ตสฺย เชฺยษฺฐ: ปุตฺร: เกฺษตฺร อาสีตฺฯ อถ ส นิเวศนสฺย นิกฏํ อาคจฺฉนฺ นฺฤตฺยานำ วาทฺยานาญฺจ ศพฺทํ ศฺรุตฺวา
26 And called one of his seruaunts, and asked what those things meant.
ทาสานามฺ เอกมฺ อาหูย ปปฺรจฺฉ, กึ การณมสฺย?
27 And hee sayde vnto him, Thy brother is come, and thy father hath killed the fatte calfe, because he hath receiued him safe and sound.
ตต: โสวาทีตฺ, ตว ภฺราตาคมตฺ, ตว ตาตศฺจ ตํ สุศรีรํ ปฺราปฺย ปุษฺฏํ โควตฺสํ มาริตวานฺฯ
28 Then he was angry, and would not goe in: therefore came his father out and entreated him.
ตต: ส ปฺรกุปฺย นิเวศนานฺต: ปฺรเวษฺฏุํ น สมฺเมเน; ตตสฺตสฺย ปิตา พหิราคตฺย ตํ สาธยามาสฯ
29 But he answered and said to his father, Loe, these many yeeres haue I done thee seruice, neither brake I at any time thy commadement, and yet thou neuer gauest mee a kidde that I might make merie with my friends.
ตต: ส ปิตรํ ปฺรตฺยุวาจ, ปศฺย ตว กาญฺจิทปฺยาชฺญำ น วิลํฆฺย พหูนฺ วตฺสรานฺ อหํ ตฺวำ เสเว ตถาปิ มิไตฺร: สารฺทฺธมฺ อุตฺสวํ กรฺตฺตุํ กทาปิ ฉาคเมกมปิ มหฺยํ นาททา: ;
30 But when this thy sonne was come, which hath deuoured thy good with harlots, thou hast for his sake killed the fat calfe.
กินฺตุ ตว ย: ปุโตฺร เวศฺยาคมนาทิภิสฺตว สมฺปตฺติมฺ อปวฺยยิตวานฺ ตสฺมินฺนาคตมาเตฺร ตไสฺยว นิมิตฺตํ ปุษฺฏํ โควตฺสํ มาริตวานฺฯ
31 And he said vnto him, Sonne, thou art euer with me, and al that I haue, is thine.
ตทา ตสฺย ปิตาโวจตฺ, เห ปุตฺร ตฺวํ สรฺวฺวทา มยา สหาสิ ตสฺมานฺ มม ยทฺยทาเสฺต ตตฺสรฺวฺวํ ตวฯ
32 It was meete that we shoulde make merie, and be glad: for this thy brother was dead, and is aliue againe: and hee was lost, but he is found.
กินฺตุ ตวายํ ภฺราตา มฺฤต: ปุนรชีวีทฺ หาริตศฺจ ภูตฺวา ปฺราปฺโตภูตฺ, เอตสฺมาตฺ การณาทฺ อุตฺสวานนฺเทา กรฺตฺตุมฺ อุจิตมสฺมากมฺฯ
