Luke 15
1 Then resorted vnto him all the Publicanes and sinners, to heare him.
ததா³ கரஸஞ்சாயிந: பாபிநஸ்²ச லோகா உபதே³ஸ்²கதா²ம்’ ஸ்²ரோதும்’ யீஸோ²: ஸமீபம் ஆக³ச்ச²ந்|
2 Therefore the Pharises and Scribes murmured, saying, Hee receiueth sinners, and eateth with them.
தத: பி²ரூஸி²ந உபாத்⁴யாயாஸ்²ச விவத³மாநா: கத²யாமாஸு: ஏஷ மாநுஷ: பாபிபி⁴: ஸஹ ப்ரணயம்’ க்ரு’த்வா தை: ஸார்த்³த⁴ம்’ பு⁴ம்’க்தே|
3 Then spake hee this parable to them, saying,
ததா³ ஸ தேப்⁴ய இமாம்’ த்³ரு’ஷ்டாந்தகதா²ம்’ கதி²தவாந்,
4 What man of you hauing an hundreth sheepe, if hee lose one of them, doeth not leaue ninetie and nine in the wildernesse, and goe after that which is lost, vntill he finde it?
கஸ்யசித் ஸ²தமேஷேஷு திஷ்ட²த்மு தேஷாமேகம்’ ஸ யதி³ ஹாரயதி தர்ஹி மத்⁴யேப்ராந்தரம் ஏகோநஸ²தமேஷாந் விஹாய ஹாரிதமேஷஸ்ய உத்³தே³ஸ²ப்ராப்திபர்ய்யநதம்’ ந க³வேஷயதி, ஏதாத்³ரு’ஸோ² லோகோ யுஷ்மாகம்’ மத்⁴யே க ஆஸ்தே?
5 And when he hath found it, he laieth it on his shoulders with ioye.
தஸ்யோத்³தே³ஸ²ம்’ ப்ராப்ய ஹ்ரு’ஷ்டமநாஸ்தம்’ ஸ்கந்தே⁴ நிதா⁴ய ஸ்வஸ்தா²நம் ஆநீய ப³ந்து⁴பா³ந்த⁴வஸமீபவாஸிந ஆஹூய வக்தி,
6 And when he commeth home, he calleth together his friendes and neighbours, saying vnto them, Reioyce with mee: for I haue founde my sheepe which was lost.
ஹாரிதம்’ மேஷம்’ ப்ராப்தோஹம் அதோ ஹேதோ ர்மயா ஸார்த்³த⁴ம் ஆநந்த³த|
7 I say vnto you, that likewise ioy shall be in heauen for one sinner that conuerteth, more then for ninetie and nine iust men, which neede none amendment of life.
தத்³வத³ஹம்’ யுஷ்மாந் வதா³மி, யேஷாம்’ மந: பராவர்த்தநஸ்ய ப்ரயோஜநம்’ நாஸ்தி, தாத்³ரு’ஸை²கோநஸ²ததா⁴ர்ம்மிககாரணாத்³ ய ஆநந்த³ஸ்தஸ்மாத்³ ஏகஸ்ய மந: பரிவர்த்திந: பாபிந: காரணாத் ஸ்வர்கே³ (அ)தி⁴காநந்தோ³ ஜாயதே|
8 Either what woman hauing ten groates, if she lose one groate, doth not light a candle, and sweepe the house, and seeke diligently till shee finde it?
அபரஞ்ச த³ஸா²நாம்’ ரூப்யக²ண்டா³நாம் ஏகக²ண்டே³ ஹாரிதே ப்ரதீ³பம்’ ப்ரஜ்வால்ய க்³ரு’ஹம்’ ஸம்மார்ஜ்ய தஸ்ய ப்ராப்திம்’ யாவத்³ யத்நேந ந க³வேஷயதி, ஏதாத்³ரு’ஸீ² யோஷித் காஸ்தே?
9 And when shee hath found it, shee calleth her friendes, and neighbours, saying, Reioyce with me: for I haue found the groate which I had lost.
ப்ராப்தே ஸதி ப³ந்து⁴பா³ந்த⁴வஸமீபவாஸிநீராஹூய கத²யதி, ஹாரிதம்’ ரூப்யக²ண்ட³ம்’ ப்ராப்தாஹம்’ தஸ்மாதே³வ மயா ஸார்த்³த⁴ம் ஆநந்த³த|
10 Likewise I say vnto you, there is ioy in the presence of the Angels of God, for one sinner that conuerteth.
தத்³வத³ஹம்’ யுஷ்மாந் வ்யாஹராமி, ஏகேந பாபிநா மநஸி பரிவர்த்திதே, ஈஸ்²வரஸ்ய தூ³தாநாம்’ மத்⁴யேப்யாநந்தோ³ ஜாயதே|
11 He sayde moreouer, A certaine man had two sonnes.
அபரஞ்ச ஸ கத²யாமாஸ, கஸ்யசித்³ த்³வௌ புத்ராவாஸ்தாம்’,
12 And the yonger of them sayde to his father, Father, giue mee the portion of the goods that falleth to mee. So he deuided vnto them his substance.
தயோ: கநிஷ்ட²: புத்ர: பித்ரே கத²யாமாஸ, ஹே பிதஸ்தவ ஸம்பத்த்யா யமம்’ஸ²ம்’ ப்ராப்ஸ்யாம்யஹம்’ விப⁴ஜ்ய தம்’ தே³ஹி, தத: பிதா நிஜாம்’ ஸம்பத்திம்’ விப⁴ஜ்ய தாப்⁴யாம்’ த³தௌ³|
13 So not many daies after, when the yonger sonne had gathered all together, hee tooke his iourney into a farre countrey, and there hee wasted his goods with riotous liuing.
கதிபயாத் காலாத் பரம்’ ஸ கநிஷ்ட²புத்ர: ஸமஸ்தம்’ த⁴நம்’ ஸம்’க்³ரு’ஹ்ய தூ³ரதே³ஸ²ம்’ க³த்வா து³ஷ்டாசரணேந ஸர்வ்வாம்’ ஸம்பத்திம்’ நாஸ²யாமாஸ|
14 Nowe when hee had spent all, there arose a great dearth throughout that land, and he began to be in necessitie.
தஸ்ய ஸர்வ்வத⁴நே வ்யயம்’ க³தே தத்³தே³ஸே² மஹாது³ர்பி⁴க்ஷம்’ ப³பூ⁴வ, ததஸ்தஸ்ய தை³ந்யத³ஸா² ப⁴விதும் ஆரேபே⁴|
15 Then hee went and claue to a citizen of that conntrey, and hee sent him to his farme, to feede swine.
தத: பரம்’ ஸ க³த்வா தத்³தே³ஸீ²யம்’ க்³ரு’ஹஸ்த²மேகம் ஆஸ்²ரயத; தத: ஸதம்’ ஸூ²கரவ்ரஜம்’ சாரயிதும்’ ப்ராந்தரம்’ ப்ரேஷயாமாஸ|
16 And hee would faine haue filled his bellie with the huskes, that the swine ate: but no man gaue them him.
கேநாபி தஸ்மை ப⁴க்ஷ்யாதா³நாத் ஸ ஸூ²கரப²லவல்கலேந பிசிண்ட³பூரணாம்’ வவாஞ்ச²|
17 Then he came to him selfe, and said, Howe many hired seruaunts at my fathers haue bread ynough, and I die for hunger?
ஸே²ஷே ஸ மநஸி சேதநாம்’ ப்ராப்ய கத²யாமாஸ, ஹா மம பிது: ஸமீபே கதி கதி வேதநபு⁴ஜோ தா³ஸா யதே²ஷ்டம்’ ததோதி⁴கஞ்ச ப⁴க்ஷ்யம்’ ப்ராப்நுவந்தி கிந்த்வஹம்’ க்ஷுதா⁴ முமூர்ஷு: |
18 I wil rise and goe to my father, and say vnto him, Father, I haue sinned against heaue, and before thee,
அஹமுத்தா²ய பிது: ஸமீபம்’ க³த்வா கதா²மேதாம்’ வதி³ஷ்யாமி, ஹே பிதர் ஈஸ்²வரஸ்ய தவ ச விருத்³த⁴ம்’ பாபமகரவம்
19 And am no more worthy to be called thy sonne: make me as one of thy hired seruants.
தவ புத்ரஇதி விக்²யாதோ ப⁴விதும்’ ந யோக்³யோஸ்மி ச, மாம்’ தவ வைதநிகம்’ தா³ஸம்’ க்ரு’த்வா ஸ்தா²பய|
20 So hee arose and came to his father, and when hee was yet a great way off, his father sawe him, and had compassion, and ranne and fell on his necke, and kissed him.
பஸ்²சாத் ஸ உத்தா²ய பிது: ஸமீபம்’ ஜகா³ம; ததஸ்தஸ்ய பிதாதிதூ³ரே தம்’ நிரீக்ஷ்ய த³யாஞ்சக்ரே, தா⁴வித்வா தஸ்ய கண்ட²ம்’ க்³ரு’ஹீத்வா தம்’ சுசும்ப³ ச|
21 And the sonne sayde vnto him, Father, I haue sinned against heauen, and before thee, and am no more worthie to be called thy sonne.
ததா³ புத்ர உவாச, ஹே பிதர் ஈஸ்²வரஸ்ய தவ ச விருத்³த⁴ம்’ பாபமகரவம்’, தவ புத்ரஇதி விக்²யாதோ ப⁴விதும்’ ந யோக்³யோஸ்மி ச|
22 Then the father said to his seruaunts, Bring foorth the best robe, and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feete,
கிந்து தஸ்ய பிதா நிஜதா³ஸாந் ஆதி³தே³ஸ², ஸர்வ்வோத்தமவஸ்த்ராண்யாநீய பரிதா⁴பயதைநம்’ ஹஸ்தே சாங்கு³ரீயகம் அர்பயத பாத³யோஸ்²சோபாநஹௌ ஸமர்பயத;
23 And bring the fat calfe, and kill him, and let vs eate, and be merie:
புஷ்டம்’ கோ³வத்ஸம் ஆநீய மாரயத ச தம்’ பு⁴க்த்வா வயம் ஆநந்தா³ம|
24 For this my sonne was dead, and is aliue againe: and he was lost, but he is found. And they began to be merie.
யதோ மம புத்ரோயம் அம்ரியத புநரஜீவீத்³ ஹாரிதஸ்²ச லப்³தோ⁴பூ⁴த் ததஸ்த ஆநந்தி³தும் ஆரேபி⁴ரே|
25 Nowe the elder brother was in the fielde, and when he came and drewe neere to the house, he heard melodie, and dauncing,
தத்காலே தஸ்ய ஜ்யேஷ்ட²: புத்ர: க்ஷேத்ர ஆஸீத்| அத² ஸ நிவேஸ²நஸ்ய நிகடம்’ ஆக³ச்ச²ந் ந்ரு’த்யாநாம்’ வாத்³யாநாஞ்ச ஸ²ப்³த³ம்’ ஸ்²ருத்வா
26 And called one of his seruaunts, and asked what those things meant.
தா³ஸாநாம் ஏகம் ஆஹூய பப்ரச்ச², கிம்’ காரணமஸ்ய?
27 And hee sayde vnto him, Thy brother is come, and thy father hath killed the fatte calfe, because he hath receiued him safe and sound.
தத: ஸோவாதீ³த், தவ ப்⁴ராதாக³மத், தவ தாதஸ்²ச தம்’ ஸுஸ²ரீரம்’ ப்ராப்ய புஷ்டம்’ கோ³வத்ஸம்’ மாரிதவாந்|
28 Then he was angry, and would not goe in: therefore came his father out and entreated him.
தத: ஸ ப்ரகுப்ய நிவேஸ²நாந்த: ப்ரவேஷ்டும்’ ந ஸம்மேநே; ததஸ்தஸ்ய பிதா ப³ஹிராக³த்ய தம்’ ஸாத⁴யாமாஸ|
29 But he answered and said to his father, Loe, these many yeeres haue I done thee seruice, neither brake I at any time thy commadement, and yet thou neuer gauest mee a kidde that I might make merie with my friends.
தத: ஸ பிதரம்’ ப்ரத்யுவாச, பஸ்²ய தவ காஞ்சித³ப்யாஜ்ஞாம்’ ந விலம்’க்⁴ய ப³ஹூந் வத்ஸராந் அஹம்’ த்வாம்’ ஸேவே ததா²பி மித்ரை: ஸார்த்³த⁴ம் உத்ஸவம்’ கர்த்தும்’ கதா³பி சா²க³மேகமபி மஹ்யம்’ நாத³தா³: ;
30 But when this thy sonne was come, which hath deuoured thy good with harlots, thou hast for his sake killed the fat calfe.
கிந்து தவ ய: புத்ரோ வேஸ்²யாக³மநாதி³பி⁴ஸ்தவ ஸம்பத்திம் அபவ்யயிதவாந் தஸ்மிந்நாக³தமாத்ரே தஸ்யைவ நிமித்தம்’ புஷ்டம்’ கோ³வத்ஸம்’ மாரிதவாந்|
31 And he said vnto him, Sonne, thou art euer with me, and al that I haue, is thine.
ததா³ தஸ்ய பிதாவோசத், ஹே புத்ர த்வம்’ ஸர்வ்வதா³ மயா ஸஹாஸி தஸ்மாந் மம யத்³யதா³ஸ்தே தத்ஸர்வ்வம்’ தவ|
32 It was meete that we shoulde make merie, and be glad: for this thy brother was dead, and is aliue againe: and hee was lost, but he is found.
கிந்து தவாயம்’ ப்⁴ராதா ம்ரு’த: புநரஜீவீத்³ ஹாரிதஸ்²ச பூ⁴த்வா ப்ராப்தோபூ⁴த், ஏதஸ்மாத் காரணாத்³ உத்ஸவாநந்தௌ³ கர்த்தும் உசிதமஸ்மாகம்|
