Leviticus 6
1 And the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying,
Et l'Éternel parla à Moïse en ces termes:
2 If any sinne and commit a trespasse against the Lord, and denie vnto his neighbour that, which was take him to keepe, or that which was put to him of trust, or doth by robberie, or by violence oppresse his neighbour,
Transmets ce commandement à Aaron et à ses fils: Voici le rite de l'holocauste: L'holocauste restera sur l'âtre, sur l'Autel, toute la nuit jusqu'au matin, et le feu de l'Autel y sera entretenu.
3 Or hath found that which was lost, and denieth it, and sweareth falsely, for any of these things that a man doeth, wherein he sinneth:
Et le Prêtre mettra ses habits de lin et couvrira sa nudité avec le caleçon de lin, et il enlèvera la cendre produite par le feu qui aura consumé l'holocauste sur l'Autel et la mettra à côté de l'Autel.
4 When, I say, he thus sinneth and trespasseth, he shall then restore the robbery that he robbed, or the thing taken by violence which hee tooke by force, or the thing which was deliuered him to keepe, or the lost thing which he founde,
Et il ôtera ses habits et en mettra d'autres pour porter la cendre hors du camp dans un lieu pur.
5 Or for whatsoeuer he hath sworne falsely, he shall both restore it in the whole summe, and shall adde the fift parte more thereto, and giue it vnto him to whome perteyneth, the same day that he offreth for trespasse.
Et le feu de l'Autel y brûlera sans s'éteindre; chaque matin le Prêtre y allumera du bois et y arrangera l'holocauste et y fera fumer la graisse des victimes pacifiques.
6 Also he shall bring for his trespasse vnto the Lord, a ramme without blemish out of the flocke in thy estimation worth two shekels for a trespasse offring vnto the Priest.
Un feu perpétuel brûlera sur l'Autel sans s'éteindre.
7 And the Priest shall make an atonement for him before the Lord, and it shall be forgiuen him, whatsoeuer thing he hath done, and trespassed therein.
Voici le rite de l'offrande: Des fils d'Aaron la présenteront devant l'Éternel, devant l'Autel;
8 Then the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying,
et ils y prendront une poignée de la fleur de farine de l'offrande et de l'huile, et tout l'encens ajouté à l'offrande, et feront fumer sur l'Autel en parfum agréable à l'Éternel cette part destinée.
9 Commaund Aaron and his sonnes, saying, This is the lawe of the burnt offring, (it is the burnt offring because it burneth vpon the altar al the night vnto the morning, and the fire burneth on the altar)
Et Aaron et ses fils mangeront le reste: ce sont des azymes qui se mangeront dans le Lieu-Saint; ils le mangeront dans le Parvis de la Tente du Rendez-vous.
10 And the Priest shall put on his linen garment, and shall put on his linen breeches vpon his flesh, and take away the ashes when the fire hath consumed the burnt offring vpon the altar, and he shall put them beside the altar.
Elle ne sera pas boulangée avec du levain; je la leur ai donnée pour leur part sur mes sacrifices ignés; elle est très sainte comme les victimes offertes pour le péché et pour le délit.
11 After, he shall put off his garments, and put on other raiment, and cary the ashes foorth without the hoste vnto a cleane place.
Tous les mâles d'entre les enfants d'Aaron la mangeront; c'est une rente perpétuelle à prendre dans vos âges futurs sur les sacrifices ignés faits à l'Éternel. Pour y toucher, il faut être consacré.
12 But the fire vpon the altar shall burne thereon and neuer be put out: wherefore the Priest shall burne wood on it euery morning, and lay the burnt offering in order vpon it, and he shall burne thereon the fat of the peace offrings.
Et l'Éternel parla à Moïse en ces termes:
13 The fire shall euer burne vpon the altar, and neuer go out.
Voici l'oblation qu'Aaron et ses fils offriront à l'Éternel le jour de son Onction; le dixième d'un épha de fleur de farine, telle sera leur offrande perpétuelle dont ils présenteront la moitié le matin, et la moitié le soir.
14 Also this is the lawe of the meate offring, which Aarons sonnes shall offer in the presence of the Lord, before the altar.
Elle sera préparée à l'huile sur la poêle; tu l'apporteras bien imbibée, tu l'offriras disposée comme l'offrande, en menus morceaux, en parfum agréable à l'Éternel.
15 He shall euen take thence his handfull of fine flowre of the meate offring and of the oyle, and all the incense which is vpon the meat offring, and shall burne it vpon the altar for a sweete sauour, as a memoriall therefore vnto the Lord:
Et le Prêtre qui parmi ses fils lui succédera dans l'Onction, la préparera; c'est une prestation perpétuelle due à l'Éternel: elle sera brûlée en totalité.
16 But the rest thereof shall Aaron and his sonnes eate: it shalbe eaten without leauen in the holy place: in the court of the Tabernacle of the Congregation they shall eate it.
Et toute offrande sacerdotale sera brûlée en totalité; elle ne se mangera pas.
17 It shall not be baken with leauen: I haue giuen it for their portion of mine offrings made by fire: for it is as the sinne offering and as the trespasse offring.
Et l'Éternel parla à Moïse en ces termes:
18 All the males among the children of Aaron shall eate of it: It shalbe a statute for euer in your generations concerning the offrings of the Lord, made by fire: whatsoeuer toucheth them shall be holy.
Parle à Aaron et à ses fils et dis: Voici le rite du sacrifice pour le péché. C'est dans le lieu où l'on égorge l'holocauste que sera égorgée la victime expiatoire devant l'Éternel: elle est très sainte.
19 Agayne the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying,
Le Prêtre expiateur la mangera; elle se mangera dans un lieu saint, dans le Parvis de la Tente du Rendez-vous.
20 This is the offering of Aaron and his sonnes, which they shall offer vnto the Lord in the day when he is anointed: the tenth part of an Ephah of fine floure, for a meate offering perpetuall: halfe of it in ye morning, and halfe thereof at night.
Pour en goûter la chair, il faut être consacré, et celui qui en fera jaillir du sang sur un vêtement, lavera dans un lieu saint ce qu'il aura aspergé.
21 In the frying panne it shalbe made with oyle: thou shalt bring it fryed, and shalt offer the baken pieces of the meate offering for a sweete sauour vnto the Lord.
Le vase de terre qui aura servi à la cuire, sera brisé, et si on la fait cuire dans un vase d'airain, on le nettoiera et le lavera avec de l'eau.
22 And the Priest that is anointed in his steade, among his sonnes shall offer it: It is the Lordes ordinance for euer, it shall be burnt altogether.
Tout mâle parmi les Prêtres en mangera: elle est très sainte.
23 For euery meate offring of the Priest shall be burnt altogether, it shall not be eaten.
Et toute victime expiatoire dont on apportera du sang dans la Tente du Rendez-vous pour la propitiation, ne se mangera point dans le Sanctuaire, elle sera brûlée au feu.
24 Furthermore, the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying,
La graisse de bêtes mortes ou déchirées pourra être employée à toute sorte d'usages,
25 Speake vnto Aaron, and vnto his sonnes, and say, This is the Lawe of the sinne offering, In the place where the burnt offring is killed, shall the sinne offring be killed before the Lord, for it is most holy.
mais vous ne devez point la manger; car quiconque mangera de la graisse des bestiaux dont on offre des sacrifices ignés à l'Éternel, celui qui en aura mangé sera éliminé de son peuple.
26 The Priest that offreth this sinne offring, shall eate it: in the holy place shall it be eaten, in the court of ye Tabernacle of the Congregation.
Et vous ne mangerez point de sang du tout dans toutes vos demeures, ni d'oiseaux, ni de quadrupèdes.
27 Whatsoeuer shall touch the flesh thereof shalbe holy: and when there droppeth of the blood thereof vpon a garment, thou shalt wash that whereon it droppeth in the holy place.
Celui qui mangera du sang d'une espèce quelconque, celui-là sera éliminé de son peuple.
28 Also the earthen pot that it is sodden in, shalbe broken, but if it be sodden in a brasen pot, it shall both be scoured and washed with water.
Et l'Éternel parla à Moïse en ces termes:
29 All the males among the Priestes shall eate thereof, for it is most holy.
Parle aux enfants d'Israël et dis: Celui qui offre son sacrifice pacifique à l'Éternel, apportera à l'Éternel son oblation prise sur son sacrifice pacifique.
30 But no sinne offering, whose blood is brought into the Tabernacle of the Congregation to make reconciliation in the holy place, shalbe eaten, but shalbe burnt in the fire.
De ses propres mains il apportera ce qui doit être un sacrifice igné à l'Éternel, il apportera la graisse avec la poitrine, la poitrine pour l'offrir par agitation comme offrande agitée à l'Éternel.
