Leviticus 27
1 Moreouer the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying,
Et l'Éternel parla à Moïse en ces termes:
2 Speake vnto the children of Israel, and say vnto them, If any man shall make a vowe of a person vnto the Lord, by thy estimation,
Parle aux enfants d'Israël et leur dis: Lorsque l'on consacre un vœu, si ce sont des personnes, elles appartiendront à l'Éternel pour le prix que tu fixeras.
3 Then thy estimation shall bee thus: a male from twentie yeere olde vnto sixty yeere olde shalbe by thy estimation euen fifty shekels of siluer, after the shekel of the Sanctuarie.
Et en faisant l'estimation d'un mâle de vingt à soixante ans, tu fixeras son prix à cinquante sicles d'argent, monnaie du Sanctuaire,
4 But if it be a female, then thy valuation shall be thirtie shekels.
et, si c'est une femme, tu fixeras son prix à trente sicles;
5 And from fiue yere old to twentie yere olde thy valuation shall be for the male twentie shekels, and for the female ten shekels.
pour ceux de cinq à vingt ans tu fixeras le prix d'un mâle à vingt sicles, et celui d'une fille à dix sicles;
6 But from a moneth old vnto fiue yere old, thy price of the male shall bee fiue shekels of siluer, and thy price of the female, three shekels of siluer.
pour ceux d'un mois à cinq ans tu fixeras le prix d'un mâle à cinq sicles d'argent, et celui d'une fille à trois sicles d'argent,
7 And from sixty yeere olde and aboue, if he be a male, then thy price shalbe fifteene shekels, and for the female ten shekels.
et pour ceux de soixante ans et au-dessus tu fixeras le prix d'un mâle à quinze sicles et celui d'une femme à dix sicles.
8 But if he be poorer then thou hast esteemed him, then shall hee present himselfe before the Priest, and the Priest shall value him, according to the abilitie of him that vowed, so shall the Priest value him.
Que s'il n'a pas le moyen de payer le prix que tu auras fixé, on présentera la personne au Prêtre qui fixera son prix; et le Prêtre fixera un prix proportionné aux moyens de celui qui a fait le vœu.
9 And if it be a beast, whereof men bring an offering vnto the Lord, all that one giueth of such vnto the Lord, shalbe holy.
Et si c'est un animal de l'espèce qu'on offre en oblation à l'Éternel, tout ce qu'on en donnera à l'Éternel, sera chose sacrée.
10 He shall not alter it nor change it, a good for a badde, nor a badde for a good: and if hee change beast for beast, then both this and that, which was changed for it, shall be holy.
On ne l'échangera point, et n'en substituera point un mauvais à un bon, ni un bon à un mauvais, et si on échange un animal contre un autre, il sera ainsi que l'animal substitué, chose sacrée.
11 And if it be any vncleane beast, of which men do not offer a sacrifice vnto the Lord, hee shall then present the beast before the Priest.
Et si c'est un animal immonde quelconque de l'espèce qu'on n'offre pas en oblation a l'Éternel, on présentera l'animal au Prêtre,
12 And the Priest shall value it, whether it be good or bad: and as thou valuest it, which art the Priest, so shall it bee.
et le Prêtre l'évaluera d'après sa qualité bonne ou mauvaise; il vaudra ce que tu l'auras évalué, toi, Prêtre.
13 But if he will bye it againe, then hee shall giue the fift part of it more, aboue thy valuation.
Et si on veut le racheter, on ajoutera un cinquième au prix fixé par toi.
14 Also whe a man shall dedicate his house to be holy vnto the Lord, then the Priest shall value it, whether it be good or bad, and as ye Priest shall prise it, so shall the value be.
Et si c'est sa maison que l'on consacre à l'Éternel, le Prêtre l'évaluera d'après ce qu'elle est en bien ou en mal, et l'on s'arrêtera à l'évaluation du Prêtre.
15 But if he that sanctified it, will redeeme his house, then hee shall giue thereto the fift part of money more then thy estimation, and it shalbe his.
Et si le consacrant veut racheter sa maison, il ajoutera un cinquième du prix en argent fixé par toi, et elle sera sienne.
16 If also a man dedicate to the Lord any grounde of his inheritance, then shalt thou esteeme it according to the seede therof: an Homer of barlie seede shalbe at fiftie shekels of siluer.
Et lorsque quelqu'un consacre à l'Éternel quelque chose du champ qu'il possède, ton estimation sera en proportion de ses semences, cinquante sicles d'argent par homer de semences d'orge.
17 If he dedicate his field immediatly from the yeere of Iubile, it shall bee worth as thou doest esteeme it.
S'il consacre son champ dès l'année du Jubilé, on s'arrêtera à ton estimation;
18 But if hee dedicate his fielde after the Iubile, then the Priest shall recken him the money according to ye yeeres that remaine vnto the yere of Iubile, and it shalbe abated by thy estimation.
mais s'il consacre son champ après le Jubilé, le Prêtre lui fera son compte en argent en proportion des années restantes jusqu'au Jubilé, et tu les déduiras de ton prix d'estimation.
19 And if he that dedicateth it, will redeeme the fielde, then he shall put the fift parte of the price, that thou esteemedst it at, thereunto, and it shall remaine his.
Et si le consacrant veut racheter son champ, il ajoutera le cinquième du prix en argent fixé par toi, et il lui reviendra;
20 And if he will not redeeme the fielde, but the Priest sell the fielde to another man, it shalbe redeemed no more.
mais s'il ne rachète pas son champ, et que le champ soit vendu à un autre, il ne peut plus être racheté,
21 But the field shalbe holy to the Lord, whe it goeth out in the Iubile, as a fielde separate from common vses: the possession thereof shall be the Priests.
et ce champ, devenu franc au Jubilé, demeure consacré à l'Éternel comme un champ qui a été dévoué; il appartiendra au Prêtre en propriété.
22 If a man also dedicate vnto ye Lord a fielde which he hath bought, which is not of the groud of his inheritance,
Et lorsque quelqu'un consacre à l'Éternel le champ qui a été acquis par lui et qui n'est point l'un des champs de sa propriété,
23 Then the Priest shall set the price to him, as thou esteemest it, vnto the yeere of Iubile, and he shall giue thy price the same day, as a thing holy vnto the Lord.
le Prêtre fera le compte de la somme à payer par lui sur ton estimation jusqu'à l'année du Jubilé, et le jour même il remettra le prix fixé par toi, comme consacré à l'Éternel.
24 But in the yeere of Iubile, the fielde shall returne vnto him, of whome it was bought: to him, I say, whose inheritance the land was.
L'année du Jubilé le champ reviendra à celui de qui il l'aura acheté et qui est propriétaire du fonds.
25 And all thy valuation shall bee according to the shekel of the Sanctuarie: a shekel conteyneth twenty gerahs.
Et tu feras toutes tes estimations en sicles du Sanctuaire: vingt géras font un sicle.
26 Notwithstanding the first borne of the beastes, because it is the Lordes first borne, none shall dedicate such, be it bullocke, or sheepe; for it is the Lords.
Seulement quant aux animaux, les premiers-nés qui par la primogéniture sont dévolus à l'Éternel, personne ne les consacrera;
27 But if it be an vncleane beast, then he shall redeeme it by thy valuation, and giue the fift part more thereto: and if it be not redeemed, then it shalbe solde, according to thy estimation.
soit bœuf, soit mouton, ils sont à l'Éternel. Mais s'il s'agit d'un animal immonde, on le rachètera au taux de ton évaluation, en y ajoutant un cinquième; s'il n'est pas racheté, il sera vendu au taux de ton évaluation.
28 Notwithstanding, nothing separate from the common vse that a man doeth separate vnto the Lord of all that he hath (whether it bee man or beast, or lande of his inheritance) may be solde nor redeemed: for euery thing separate from the common vse is most holy vnto the Lord.
Seulement tout ce qui est dévoué, et que quelqu'un a dévoué à l'Éternel, dans tout ce qu'il possède, gens, bestiaux et champs de sa propriété, ne peut être ni vendu ni racheté; tout ce qui a été dévoué est une chose très sacrée de l'Éternel.
29 Nothing separate from the common vse, which shall be separate from man, shalbe redeemed, but dye the death.
Tout individu dévoué qui a été dévoué d'entre les hommes ne peut être racheté, il doit être mis à mort.
30 Also all the tithe of the lande both of the seede of the ground, and of the fruite of the trees is the Lords: it is holy to the Lord.
Et toute dîme du pays en graine de la terre et en fruits des arbres appartient à l'Éternel, est consacrée à l'Éternel.
31 But if a man will redeeme any of his tithe, he shall adde the fift part thereto.
Et si quelqu'un veut racheter quelque chose de sa dîme, il y ajoutera le cinquième.
32 And euery tithe of bullock, and of sheepe, and of all that goeth vnder the rod, the tenth shalbe holy vnto the Lord.
Et quant à toutes les dîmes de gros et de menu bétail, et de tout ce qui passe sous la houlette, la dîme est consacrée à l'Éternel.
33 He shall not looke if it be good or bad, neither shall he change it: els if he change it, both it, and that it was changed withall, shalbe holy, and it shall not be redeemed.
On ne recherchera pas si la qualité en est bonne ou mauvaise, et on ne fera point d'échanges, et si on échange une pièce de bétail, celle qui a été échangée et celle qui a été substituée seront choses sacrées, ne pourront se racheter.
34 These are the commandements which the Lord commanded by Moses vnto the children of Israel in mount Sinai.
Tels sont les commandements que sur le mont de Sinaï l'Éternel ordonna à Moïse de transmettre aux enfants d'Israël.
