Leviticus 23
1 And the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying,
Et le Seigneur parla à Moïse, disant:
2 Speake vnto the children of Israel, and say vnto them, The feastes of ye Lord which yee shall call ye holie assemblies, euen these are my feasts.
Parle aux fils d'Israël, et dis-leur: Les fêtes du Seigneur, que vous appellerez saintes et solennelles, ce sont mes fêtes.
3 Six daies shall worke be done, but in the seuenth day shalbe the Sabbath of rest, an holie conuocation: ye shall do no worke therein, it is the Sabbath of the Lord, in all your dwellings.
Pendant six jours, vous ferez vos travaux; le septième jour est le sabbat, repos saint et solennel; consacré au Seigneur; vous ne ferez aucune œuvre ce jour-là; c'est le sabbat du Seigneur, partout ou vous serez établis.
4 These are the feastes of the Lord, and holie conuocations, which yee shall proclaime in their seasons.
Voici les fêtes saintes et solennelles que vous célèbrerez à leurs époques:
5 In the first moneth, and in the fourteenth day of the moneth at euening shalbe ye Passeouer of the Lord.
Au premier mois, le quatorzième jour de la lune, vers le milieu de la soirée, c'est la pâque du Seigneur.
6 And on the fifteenth day of this moneth shalbe the feast of vnleauened bread vnto the Lord: seuen dayes ye shall eate vnleauened bread.
Et le quinzième jour de cette lune, c'est la fête des azymes du Seigneur; pendant sept jours vous mangerez des azymes.
7 In the first day yee shall haue an holy conuocation: ye shall do no seruile worke therein.
Le premier jour sera saint et solennel parmi vous; vous ne ferez aucune œuvre servile.
8 Also ye shall offer sacrifice made by fire vnto the Lord seuen daies, and in the seuenth day shalbe an holie conuocation: ye shall do no seruile worke therein.
Pendant sept jours vous présenterez des holocaustes au Seigneur, et le septième jour sera parmi vous saint et solennel; vous ne ferez aucune œuvre servile.
9 And the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying,
Et le Seigneur parla à Moïse, disant:
10 Speake vnto the children of Israel, and say vnto them, When ye be come into ye land which I giue vnto you, and reape the haruest thereof, then ye shall bring a sheafe of the first fruites of your haruest vnto the Priest,
Parle aux fils d'Israël, et dis-leur: Lorsque vous serez entrés en la terre que je vous donne, et que vous y ferez la moisson, vous apporterez au prêtre une gerbe, comme prémices de votre moisson.
11 And hee shall shake the sheafe before the Lord, that it may be acceptable for you: the morowe after the Sabbath, the Priest shall shake it.
Et il présentera la gerbe au Seigneur, afin qu'il l'accepte pour vous; le prêtre la présentera dès le lendemain du premier jour.
12 And that day when yee shake the sheafe, shall yee prepare a lambe without blemish of a yeere olde, for a burnt offring vnto the Lord:
Et, le jour même où vous apporterez la gerbe, vous immolerez une brebis d'un an et sans tache, en holocauste au Seigneur.
13 And the meate offring thereof shalbe two tenth deales of fine floure mingled with oyle, for a sacrifice made by fire vnto ye Lord of sweete sauour. and the drinke offring thereof the fourth part of an Hin of wine.
Et pour son oblation vous offrirez deux dixièmes de fleur de farine pétris dans l'huile; c'est le sacrifice au Seigneur, l'odeur de suavité pour le Seigneur, et ses libations seront faites avec le quart d'une mesure de vin.
14 And ye shall eat neither bread nor parched corne, nor greene eares vntill the selfe same day that ye haue brought an offring vnto your God: this shalbe a lawe for euer in your generations and in all your dwellings.
Vous ne mangerez ni pain ni grains grillés de la nouvelle récolte, avant ce jour, avant d'avoir offert vos oblations à votre Dieu. C'est une loi perpétuelle pour toutes vos générations, partout où vous demeurerez.
15 Ye shall count also to you from the morowe after the Sabbath, euen from the day that yee shall bring the sheafe of the shake offring, seuen Sabbaths, they shalbe complete.
Et, à partir du lendemain du sabbat, jour où vous présenterez la gerbe de prémices, vous compterez sept semaines complètes;
16 Vnto ye morow after the seuenth Sabbath shall ye nomber fiftie dayes: then yee shall bring a newe meate offring vnto the Lord.
Y compris le jour qui suivra la dernière semaine, vous aurez compté cinquante jours; et vous offrirez au Seigneur un sacrifice nouveau.
17 Ye shall bring out of your habitations bread for the shake offring: they shalbe two loaues of two tenth deales of fine floure, which shalbe baken with leauen for first fruites vnto the Lord.
Vous apporterez de vos demeures des pains de prémices; ce seront deux pains faits avec deux dixièmes de fleur de farine, les premiers pains levés faits des prémices au Seigneur.
18 Also yee shall offer with the bread seuen lambes without blemish of one yeere olde, and a yong bullocke and two rams: they shalbe for a burnt offring vnto the Lord, with their meate offrings and their drinke offrings, for a sacrifice made by fire of a sweete sauour vnto the Lord.
Et avec les pains vous présenterez sept agneaux d'un an sans tache, un veau pris parmi les bœufs, et deux béliers sans tache, en holocauste au Seigneur, avec leurs oblations et libations; ce sera le sacrifice d'odeur de suavité pour le Seigneur.
19 Then ye shall prepare an hee goate for a sinne offring, and two lambes of one yeere olde for peace offrings.
Après cela, on immolera, pour le péché, un bouc pris parmi les chèvres, et deux agneaux d'un an, comme hosties pacifiques offertes avec les pains de prémices.
20 And the Priest shall shake them to and from with the bread of the first fruits before the Lord, and with the two lambes: they shalbe holy to the Lord, for the Priest.
Et le prêtre placera la victime, pour le péché, devant le Seigneur, avec le monceau des pains de prémices, et avec les deux agneaux offerts comme hosties pacifiques; ils seront consacrés au Seigneur, et appartiendront au prêtre qui en aura fait l'offrande,
21 So ye shall proclayme the same day, that it may be an holie conuocation vnto you: ye shall doe no seruile worke therein: it shalbe an ordinance for euer in al your dwellinges, throughout your generations.
Vous appellerez ce jour-là solennel, et il sera saint pour vous, vous ne ferez en ce jour aucune œuvre servile; c'est une loi perpétuelle en toutes vos générations, partout où vous demeurerez.
22 And when you reape the haruest of your land, thou shalt not rid cleane the corners of thy field when thou reapest, neither shalt thou make any aftergathering of thy haruest, but shalt leaue them vnto the poore and to the stranger: I am the Lord your God.
Lorsque vous moissonnerez en votre terre, vous n'achèverez pas strictement votre moisson, vous ne recueillerez pas les épis de blé tombés çà et là, vous les laisserez pour le pauvre et pour l'étranger: je suis le Seigneur votre Dieu.
23 And the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying,
Et le Seigneur parla à Moïse, disant:
24 Speake vnto the children of Israel, and say, In the seuenth moneth, and in the first day of the moneth shall ye haue a Sabbath, for the remembrance of blowing the trumpets, an holy conuocation.
Parle aux fils d'Israël, dis-leur: Lors de la septième lune, le premier jour de la lune sera pour vous un jour de repos, en souvenir des trompettes; ce jour sera parmi vous saint et solennel;
25 Ye shall do no seruile worke therein, but offer sacrifice made by fire vnto the Lord.
Vous ne ferez aucune œuvre servile, et vous présenterez un holocauste au Seigneur.
26 And the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying,
Et le Seigneur parla à Moïse, disant:
27 The tenth also of this seuenth moneth shalbe a day of reconciliation: it shalbe an holie conuocation vnto you, and yee shall humble your soules, and offer sacrifice made by fire vnto the Lord.
Le dixième jour de la septième lune, c'est le jour de l'expiation, qui sera parmi vous saint et solennel, et vous humilierez vos âmes, et vous offrirez un holocauste au Seigneur.
28 And ye shall doe no worke that same day: for it is a day of reconciliation, to make an atonement for you before the Lord your God.
Vous ne ferez ce jour-là aucune œuvre servile, car c'est le jour de l'expiation destiné à effacer vos fautes devant le Seigneur votre Dieu.
29 For euery person that humbleth not himselfe that same day, shall euen be cut off from his people.
Toute âme qui ne s'humiliera point en elle-même ce jour-là, sera exterminée parmi son peuple.
30 And euery person that shall doe any work that same day, the same person also will I destroy from among his people.
Et toute âme qui, en ce jour-là, fera quelque œuvre servile, périra parmi son peuple.
31 Ye shall do no maner worke therefore: this shalbe a law for euer in your generations, throughout all your dwellings.
Vous ne ferez aucune œuvre; c'est une loi perpétuelle pour toutes vos générations, dans tous vos séjours.
32 This shalbe vnto you a Sabbath of rest, and ye shall humble your soules: in the ninth day of the moneth at euen, from euen to euen shall ye celebrate your Sabbath.
Ce sera pour vous le sabbat des sabbats, et vous humilierez vos âmes; le neuvième jour, d'un soir à l'autre, vous célèbrerez ce sabbat.
33 And the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying,
Et le Seigneur parla à Moïse, disant:
34 Speake vnto the children of Israel, and say, In the fifteenth day of this seueth moneth shalbe for seuen dayes the feast of Tabernacles vnto the Lord.
Parle aux fils d'Israël, et dis-leur: Le quinzième jour de cette septième lune, c'est la solennité des tabernacles; elle durera sept jours consacrés au Seigneur.
35 In the first day shalbe an holie conuocation: ye shall do no seruile worke therein.
Le premier jour sera saint et solennel; vous ne ferez aucune œuvre servile.
36 Seuen daies ye shall offer sacrifice made by fire vnto the Lord, and in the eight day shalbe an holy conuocation vnto you, and ye shall offer sacrifices made by fire vnto the Lord: it is the solemne assemblie, yee shall doe no seruile worke therein.
Pendant sept jours, vous offrirez des holocaustes au Seigneur, et le huitième jour sera parmi vous saint et solennel, et vous offrirez des holocaustes au Seigneur; c'est la fin, vous ne ferez aucune œuvre servile.
37 These are the feastes of the Lord (which ye shall call holie conuocations) to offer sacrifice made by fire vnto the Lord, as burnt offring, and meate offring, sacrifice, and drinke offrings, euery one vpon his day,
Telles sont les fêtes du Seigneur, que vous appellerez saintes et solennelles, et dans lesquelles vous offrirez au Seigneur des hosties, des holocaustes, avec leurs oblations et leurs libations, chaque jour de fête.
38 Beside the Sabbaths of the Lord, and beside your giftes, and beside al your vowes, and beside all your free offrings, which ye shall giue vnto the Lord.
Ce sera en outre des sabbats du Seigneur, et de vos dons ordinaires, et en outre de tous vos vœux, et des offrandes volontaires que vous ferez au Seigneur.
39 But in the fifteenth day of the seueth moneth, when ye haue gathered in the fruite of the land, ye shall keepe an holie feast vnto the Lord seuen daies: in the first day shalbe a Sabbath: likewise in the eight day shalbe a Sabbath.
Ainsi, à commencer par le quinzième jour de cette septième lune, lorsque vous aurez recueilli tous les produits de la terre, vous célèbrerez, pendant sept jours, la fête du Seigneur; le premier jour, il y aura repos; le huitième jour, repos.
40 And yee shall take you in the first day the fruite of goodly trees, branches of palme trees, and the boughes of thicke trees, and willowes of the brooke, and shall reioyce before the Lord your God seuen daies.
Et, le premier jour, vous prendrez des plus beaux fruits de vos arbres, des palmes de palmier, des rameaux d'arbres touffus, des branches de saule et des branches du gattilier qui borde les torrents, pour vous réjouir, devant le Seigneur votre Dieu, ces sept jours de l'année.
41 So ye shall keepe this feast vnto the Lord seuen daies in the yere, by a perpetuall ordinance through your generations: in the seuenth moneth shall you keepe it.
C'est une loi perpétuelle en toutes vos générations; le septième mois vous célèbrerez cette fête.
42 Ye shall dwell in boothes seuen daies: all that are Israelites borne, shall dwel in boothes,
Pendant sept jours vous demeurerez sous des tentes; tout enfant d'Israël demeurera sous la tente;
43 That your posterity may know that I haue made the children of Israel to dwell in boothes, when I brought them out of the lande of Egypt: I am the Lord your God.
Afin que vos descendants sachent que j'ai fait demeurer sous des tentes les fils d'Israël, lorsque je les ai tirés de la terre d'Egypte: je suis le Seigneur votre Dieu.
44 So Moses declared vnto the children of Israel the feastes of the Lord.
Ainsi, Moïse apprit aux fils d'Israël les fêtes du Seigneur.
