Leviticus 11
1 After, the Lord spake vnto Moses and to Aaron, saying vnto them,
Y habló Jehová a Moisés, y a Aarón, diciéndoles:
2 Speake vnto the children of Israel, and say, These are the beastes which yee shall eate, among all the beasts that are on the earth.
Hablád a los hijos de Israel, diciendo: Estos son los animales, que comeréis de todos los animales que están sobre la tierra:
3 Whatsoeuer parteth the hoofe, and is clouen footed, and cheweth the cudde, among the beastes, that shall ye eate.
Todo animal de pesuño, y que tiene los pesuños hendidos, y que rumia, de entre los animales, este comeréis.
4 But of them that chewe the cud, or deuide the hoofe onely, of them yee shall not eate: as the camel, because he cheweth the cud, and deuideth not ye hoofe, he shall be vncleane vnto you.
Estos empero no comeréis de los que rumian, y de los que tienen pesuño: El camello; porque rumia, mas no tiene pesuño, tenerlo heis por inmundo.
5 Likewise the conie, because he cheweth the cud and deuideth not the hoofe, he shall bee vncleane to you.
Ítem, el conejo; porque rumia, mas no tiene pesuño, tenerlo heis por inmundo.
6 Also the hare, because he cheweth the cud, and deuideth not the hoofe, he shalbe vncleane to you.
Ítem, la liebre; porque rumia, mas no tiene pesuño, tenerla heis por inmunda.
7 And the swine, because he parteth ye hoofe and is clouen footed, but cheweth not the cud, he shalbe vncleane to you.
También el puerco; porque tiene pesuño, y es de pesuños hendidos, mas no rumia, tenerlo heis por inmundo.
8 Of their flesh shall yee not eate, and their carkeise shall yee not touch: for they shall bee vncleane to you.
De la carne de ellos no comeréis, ni tocaréis su cuerpo muerto, tenerlos heis por inmundos.
9 These shall ye eate, of all that are in the waters: whatsoeuer hath finnes and skales in ye waters, in the seas, or in the riuers, them shall ye eate.
Esto comeréis de todas las cosas que están en las aguas: Todas las cosas que tienen alas y escamas en las aguas de la mar, y en los ríos, aquellas comeréis.
10 But all that haue not finnes nor skales in the seas, or in the riuers, of all that moueth in the waters, and of al liuing things that are in the waters, they shalbe an abomination vnto you.
Mas todas las cosas que no tienen alas, ni escamas, en la mar, y en los ríos, así de todo reptil de agua, como de toda cosa viviente que está en las aguas, tenerlas heis en abominación.
11 They, I say, shalbe an abomination to you: ye shall not eate of their flesh, but shall abhorre their carkeis.
Y seros han en abominación: de su carne no comeréis, y sus cuerpos muertos abominaréis.
12 Whatsoeuer hath not fins nor skales in the waters, that shalbe abomination vnto you.
Todo lo que no tuviere alas y escamas en las aguas tendréis en abominación.
13 These shall ye haue also in abomination among the foules, they shall not be eaten: for they are an abomination, the eagle, and the goshauke, and the osprey:
Ítem, de las aves, estas tendréis en abominación, no se comerán, abominación serán: El águila, el azor, el esmerejón,
14 Also the vultur, and the kite after his kinde,
El milano, y el buitre según su especie,
15 And all rauens after their kinde:
Todo cuervo según su especie,
16 The ostrich also, and the night crowe, and the seameaw, and the hauke after his kinde:
El avestruz, y el mochuelo, y la garceta, y el gavilán según su especie,
17 The litle owle also, and the connorant, and the great owle.
Y el halcón, y la gaviota, y la lechuza,
18 Also the redshanke and the pelicane, and the swanne:
Y el calamón, y el cisne, y el pelícano,
19 The storke also, the heron after his kinde, and the lapwing, and the backe:
Y la cigüeña, y el cuervo marino, según su especie, y la abubilla, y el murciélago.
20 Also euery foule that creepeth and goeth vpon all foure, such shalbe an abomination vnto you.
Todo reptil de ave que anduviere sobre cuatro pies tendréis en abominación.
21 Yet these shall ye eate: of euery foule that creepeth, and goeth vpon all foure which haue their feete and legs all of one to leape withal vpon the earth,
Empero esto comeréis de todo reptil de aves que anda sobre cuatro pies que tuviere piernas allende de sus pies, para saltar con ellas sobre la tierra.
22 Of them ye shall eate these, the grashopper after his kinde, and the solean after his kinde, the hargol after his kinde, and the hagab after his kind.
Estos comeréis de ellos: La langosta según su especie, y el langostín según su especie, y el haregol según su especie, y el hahgab según su especie.
23 But al other foules that creepe and haue foure feete, they shalbe abomination vnto you.
Todo otro reptil de aves, que tenga cuatro pies, tendréis en abominación.
24 For by such ye shalbe polluted: whosoeuer toucheth their carkeis, shalbe vncleane vnto the euening.
Y por estas cosas seréis inmundos: Cualquiera que tocare a sus cuerpos muertos, será inmundo hasta la tarde.
25 Whosoeuer also beareth of their carkeis, shall wash his clothes, and be vncleane vntil euen.
Ítem, cualquiera que llevare sus cuerpos muertos, lavará sus vestidos, y será inmundo hasta la tarde.
26 Euery beast that hath clawes deuided, and is not clouen footed, nor cheweth the cud, such shalbe vncleane vnto you: euery one that toucheth them, shalbe vncleane.
Todo animal de pesuño, mas que no tiene el pesuño hendido, ni rumia, tendréis por inmundo: cualquiera que los tocare, será inmundo.
27 And whatsoeuer goeth vpon his pawes among all maner beastes that goeth on all foure, such shalbe vncleane vnto you: who so doth touch their carkeis shalbe vncleane vntil the euen.
Y cualquiera que anda sobre sus palmas de todos los animales que andan a cuatro pies, tendréis por inmundo: cualquiera que tocare sus cuerpos muertos, será inmundo hasta la tarde.
28 And he that beareth their carkeis, shall wash his clothes, and be vncleane vntill the euen: for such shalbe vncleane vnto you.
Y el que llevare sus cuerpos muertos, lavará sus vestidos, y será inmundo hasta la tarde: tenerlos heis por inmundos.
29 Also these shalbe vncleane to you amog the things that creepe and moue vpon the earth, the weasell, and the mouse, and the frog, after his kinde:
Ítem, estos tendréis por inmundos de los reptiles que van arrastrando sobre la tierra: La comadreja, y el ratón, y la rana según su especie,
30 Also the rat, and the lizard, and the chameleon, and the stellio, and the molle.
Y el erizo, y el lagarto, y el caracol, y la babosa, y el topo.
31 These shall be vncleane to you among all that creepe: whosoeuer doeth touch them when they be dead, shalbe vncleane vntil the euen.
Estos tendréis por inmundos de todos los reptiles: cualquiera que los tocare, cuando fueren muertos, será inmundo hasta la tarde.
32 Also whatsoeuer any of the dead carkeises of them doth fall vpon, shalbe vncleane, whether it be vessel of wood, or rayment, or skinne, or sacke: whatsoeuer vessel it be that is occupied, it shalbe put in the water as vncleane vntil the euen, and so be purified.
Y todo aquello sobre que cayere alguna cosa de ellos después de muertos, será inmundo, así vaso de madera, como vestido, o piel, o saco: cualquiera instrumento con que se hace obra, será metido en agua, y será inmundo hasta la tarde, y así será limpio.
33 But euery earthen vessel, whereinto any of them falleth, whatsoeuer is within it shalbe vncleane, and ye shall breake it.
Ítem, todo vaso de barro dentro del cual cayere algo de ellos, todo lo que estuviere en él, será inmundo, y el vaso quebraréis.
34 Al meate also that shalbe eaten, if any such water come vpon it, shalbe vncleane: and all drinke that shalbe drunke in al such vessels shalbe vncleane.
Toda vianda que se come, sobre la cual viniere el agua, será inmunda: y toda bebida que se bebiere, en todo vaso será inmunda.
35 And euery thing that their carkeis fall vpon, shalbe vncleane: the fornais or the pot shalbe broken: for they are vncleane, and shalbe vncleane vnto you.
Y todo aquello, sobre que cayere algo de su cuerpo muerto, será inmundo. El horno y la chimenea serán derribados: inmundos son, y por inmundos los tendréis.
36 Yet the fountaines and welles where there is plentie of water shalbe cleane: but that which toucheth their carkeises shalbe vncleane.
Empero la fuente, o la cisterna donde se recojen aguas, serán limpias: mas lo que hubiere tocado en sus cuerpos muertos, será inmundo.
37 And if there fal of their dead carkeis vpon any seede, which vseth to be sowe, it shalbe cleane.
Ítem, si cayere algo de sus cuerpos muertos sobre alguna simiente sembrada, que estuviere sembrada, será limpia.
38 But if any water be powred vpon ye seede, and there fal of their dead carkeis thereon, it shall be vncleane vnto you.
Mas si hubiere puesta agua sobre la simiente, y cayere algo de sus cuerpos muertos sobre ella, tenerla heis por inmunda.
39 If also any beast, whereof ye may eate, die, he that toucheth the carkeis thereof shall be vncleane vntil the euen.
Ítem, si algún animal que tuviereis para comer, se muriere, el que tocare su cuerpo muerto, será inmundo hasta la tarde.
40 And he that eateth of the carkeis of it, shall wash his clothes and be vncleane vntil the euen: he also that beareth the carkeis of it, shall wash his clothes, and be vncleane vntil the euen.
Y el que comiere de su cuerpo muerto, lavará sus vestidos, y será inmundo hasta la tarde: asimismo el que sacare su cuerpo muerto, lavará sus vestidos, y será inmundo hasta la tarde.
41 Euery creeping thing therefore that creepeth vpon the earth shalbe an abomination, and not be eaten.
Ítem, todo reptil que va arrastrando sobre la tierra, abominación es, no se comerá.
42 Whatsoeuer goeth vpon the breast, and whatsoeuer goeth vpon al foure, or that hath many feete among all creeping thinges that creepe vpon the earth, ye shall not eate of them, for they shalbe abomination.
Todo lo que anda sobre el pecho, y todo lo que anda sobre cuatro, o más pies, de todo reptil, que anda arrastrando sobre la tierra, no comeréis, porque son abominación.
43 Ye shall not pollute your selues with any thing that creepeth, neither make your selues vncleane with them, neither defile your selues thereby: ye shall not, I say, be defiled by them,
No ensuciéis vuestras almas en ningún reptil, que anda arrastrando, ni os contaminéis en ellos, ni seáis inmundos por ellos.
44 For I am the Lord your God: be sanctified therefore, and be holy, for I am holy, and defile not your selues with any creeping thing, that creepeth vpon the earth.
Porque yo soy Jehová vuestro Dios: por tanto vosotros os santificaréis, y seréis santos, porque yo soy santo: y no ensuciéis vuestras almas en ningún reptil, que anduviere arrastrando sobre la tierra.
45 For I am the Lord that brought you out of the lande of Egypt, to be your God, and that you should be holy, for I am holy.
Porque yo soy Jehová, que os hago subir de la tierra de Egipto para seros por Dios. Seréis pues santos, porque yo soy santo.
46 This is the law of beasts, and of foules, and of euery liuing thing that moueth in the waters, and of euery thing that creepeth vpon the earth:
Esta es la ley de los animales, y de las aves, y de toda cosa viva, que se mueve en las aguas, y de toda cosa que anda arrastrando sobre la tierra.
47 That there may be a difference betweene the vncleane and cleane, and betweene the beast that may be eaten, and the beast that ought not to be eaten.
Para hacer diferencia entre inmundo y limpio; y entre los animales que se pueden comer, y los animales que no se pueden comer.
