Lamentations 5
1 Remember, O Lord, what is come vpon vs: consider, and behold our reproche.
യഹോവേ, ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് എന്തു സംഭവിച്ചു എന്നു നോക്കണമേ; നോക്കൂ, ഞങ്ങളുടെ നിന്ദ കാണണമേ.
2 Our inheritance is turned to the strangers, our houses to the aliants.
ഞങ്ങളുടെ ഓഹരി അപരിചിതർക്കും ഞങ്ങളുടെ ഭവനങ്ങൾ വിദേശികൾക്കും ആയിപ്പോയി.
3 We are fatherles, euen without father, and our mothers are as widowes.
ഞങ്ങൾ അനാഥരും പിതാവില്ലാത്തവരും ആയി, ഞങ്ങളുടെ മാതാക്കൾ വിധവമാരെപ്പോലെ ആയി.
4 Wee haue drunke our water for money, and our wood is solde vnto vs.
ഞങ്ങൾക്കുള്ള വെള്ളം ഞങ്ങൾ വിലകൊടുത്തു വാങ്ങണം; വിലകൊടുത്താൽമാത്രമേ ഞങ്ങൾക്കു വിറകു ലഭിക്കുകയുള്ളൂ;
5 Our neckes are vnder persecution: we are wearie, and haue no rest.
ഞങ്ങളെ പിൻതുടരുന്നവർ ഞങ്ങളുടെ കുതികാലുകളിൽ എത്തി; ഞങ്ങൾ ക്ഷീണിച്ചു, വിശ്രമം കണ്ടെത്തുന്നതുമില്ല.
6 We haue giuen our handes to the Egyptians, and to Asshur, to be satisfied with bread.
മതിയാവോളം അപ്പം കിട്ടേണ്ടതിന് ഞങ്ങൾ ഈജിപ്റ്റിനും അശ്ശൂരിനും കീഴടങ്ങി.
7 Our fathers haue sinned, and are not, and we haue borne their iniquities.
ഞങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാർ പാപംചെയ്ത് കടന്നുപോയി ഞങ്ങളോ അവർക്കുള്ള ശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കുന്നു.
8 Seruants haue ruled ouer vs, none would deliuer vs out of their hands.
അടിമകൾ ഞങ്ങളെ ഭരിക്കുന്നു അവരുടെ കൈകളിൽനിന്ന് ഞങ്ങളെ വിടുവിക്കാൻ ആരുമില്ല.
9 Wee gate our bread with the perill of our liues, because of the sword of the wildernesse.
മരുഭൂമിയിലെ വാൾനിമിത്തം ജീവൻ പണയംവെച്ച് ഞങ്ങൾ അപ്പം തേടുന്നു.
10 Our skinne was blacke like as an ouen because of the terrible famine.
വിശപ്പിന്റെ താപത്താൽ ഞങ്ങളുടെ ത്വക്ക് അടുപ്പുപോലെ നീറുന്നു.
11 They defiled the women in Zion, and the maydes in the cities of Iudah.
സ്ത്രീകൾ സീയോനിലും കന്യകമാർ യെഹൂദാപട്ടണങ്ങളിലും ബലാൽക്കാരംചെയ്യപ്പെട്ടു.
12 The princes are hanged vp by their hande: the faces of the elders were not had in honour.
പ്രഭുക്കന്മാർ അവരുടെ കരങ്ങളാൽ തൂക്കിലിടപ്പെട്ടു; ഗോത്രത്തലവന്മാരോട് യാതൊരു ആദരവും കാട്ടിയതുമില്ല.
13 They tooke the yong men to grinde, and the children fell vnder the wood.
യുവാക്കൾ തിരികല്ലിൽ പണിയുന്നു, ബാലന്മാർ വിറകുകെട്ടെടുത്ത് ഇടറുന്നു
14 The Elders haue ceased from the gate and the yong men from their songs.
ഗോത്രത്തലവന്മാർ നഗരകവാടത്തിൽനിന്ന് പൊയ്പ്പോയി, യുവാക്കൾ അവരുടെ സംഗീതാലാപനം അവസാനിപ്പിച്ചു.
15 The ioy of our heart is gone, our daunce is turned into mourning.
ഞങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയത്തിൽനിന്ന് ആനന്ദം പോയിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞങ്ങളുടെ നൃത്തം വിലാപമായി മാറി.
16 The crowne of our head is fallen: wo nowe vnto vs, that we haue sinned.
ഞങ്ങളുടെ ശിരസ്സിൽനിന്ന് കിരീടം വീണിരിക്കുന്നു, ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് അയ്യോ കഷ്ടം, കാരണം ഞങ്ങൾ പാപംചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു!
17 Therefore our heart is heauy for these things, our eyes are dimme,
അതിനാൽ ഞങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയം തളർന്നിരിക്കുന്നു അതിനാൽ ഞങ്ങളുടെ കണ്ണുകൾ മങ്ങിപ്പോയി.
18 Because of the mountaine of Zion which is desolate: the foxes runne vpon it.
പതുങ്ങി നടക്കുന്ന കുറുക്കന്മാരെക്കൊണ്ട് സീയോൻപർവതം ശൂന്യമായി കിടക്കുന്നു.
19 But thou, O Lord, remainest for euer: thy throne is from generation to generation.
യഹോവേ, അവിടന്ന് ശാശ്വതമായി വാഴണമേ; അങ്ങയുടെ സിംഹാസനം തലമുറതലമുറയായി നിലനിൽക്കുന്നു.
20 Wherefore doest thou forget vs for euer, and forsake vs so long time?
എന്തുകൊണ്ട് അവിടന്ന് എപ്പോഴും ഞങ്ങളെ മറക്കുന്നു? എന്തിന് ഞങ്ങളെ ഇത്രത്തോളം ഉപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നു?
21 Turne thou vs vnto thee, O Lord, and we shalbe turned: renue our dayes as of olde.
അങ്ങ് ഞങ്ങളെ നിശ്ശേഷം തള്ളിക്കളഞ്ഞിട്ടില്ലായെങ്കിൽ, അളവില്ലാത്തവിധം ഞങ്ങളോട് കോപിച്ചിട്ടില്ലായെങ്കിൽ. യഹോവേ, ഞങ്ങൾ മടങ്ങിവരേണ്ടതിനു ഞങ്ങളെ അവിടത്തേക്കായി പുനരുദ്ധരിക്കണമേ, പണ്ടത്തെപ്പോലെ ഞങ്ങളുടെ നാളുകൾ പുതുക്കണമേ.
22 But thou hast vtterly reiected vs: thou art exceedingly angry against vs.
