Lamentations 3
1 I am the man, that hath seene affliction in the rod of his indignation.
१तो पूरूष मीच आहे, ज्याने परमेश्वराच्या क्रोधाच्या काठीकडून संकटे पाहिली.
2 He hath ledde mee, and brought me into darkenes, but not to light.
२त्याने मला दूर करून प्रकाशाकडे न जाता अंधारात चालण्यास भाग पाडले.
3 Surely he is turned against me: he turneth his hand against me all the day.
३खचितच तो माझ्याविरूद्ध झाला आहे; पूर्ण दिवस त्याने आपला हात माझ्यावर उगारला आहे.
4 My flesh and my skinne hath he caused to waxe olde, and he hath broken my bones.
४त्यांने माझा देह व त्वचा जीर्ण केली आहे आणि माझी हाडे मोडली आहेत
5 He hath builded against me, and compassed me with gall, and labour.
५त्याने माझ्याविरूद्ध विष व दुःखाचे बांधकाम करून मला वेढले आहे.
6 He hath set me in darke places, as they that be dead for euer.
६फार पूर्वी मृत्यू पावलेल्या मनुष्याप्रमाणे त्याने मला काळोखात रहावयास लावले आहे.
7 He hath hedged about mee, that I cannot get out: he hath made my chaines heauy.
७त्याने माझ्याभोवती तटबंदी केल्याने त्यातून माझी सुटका होऊ शकत नाही. त्याने माझे बंध अधिक मजबूत केले आहेत.
8 Also when I cry and showte, hee shutteth out my prayer.
८मी मदतीसाठी आक्रोशाने धावा केला तेव्हाही तो माझ्या प्रार्थनांचा धिक्कार करतो.
9 He hath stopped vp my wayes with hewen stone, and turned away my paths.
९त्याने माझा रस्ता दगडी चिऱ्यांच्या भिंतीने अडवला आहे. त्याने माझा मार्ग वाकडा केला आहे.
10 He was vnto me as a beare lying in waite, and as a Lion in secret places.
१०तो माझ्यावर हल्ला करण्यासाठी टपून बसलेल्या अस्वलासारखा आणि लपून बसलेल्या सिंहासारखा झाला आहे.
11 He hath stopped my wayes, and pulled me in pieces: he hath made me desolate.
११त्याने माझ्या मार्गावरून मला बाजूला करून, फाडून माझे तुकडे तुकडे केले आहेत आणि मला उदास केले आहे.
12 He hath bent his bow and made me a marke for the arrow.
१२त्याने आपला धनुष्य वाकवला आहे आणि मला त्याच्या बाणांचे लक्ष्य बनविले आहे.
13 Hee caused the arrowes of his quiuer to enter into my reines.
१३त्याने आपले बाण माझ्या अंतःकरणात घुसवले आहेत.
14 I was a derision to all my people, and their song all the day.
१४माझ्या स्वजनामध्येच मी चेष्टेचा विषय; प्रतिदिवशी त्यांचे हास्यास्पद गीत झालो आहे.
15 He hath filled me with bitternes, and made me drunken with wormewood.
१५त्याने मला कडूपणाने भरले आहे, त्याने मला कडू दवणा प्यायला भाग पाडले आहे.
16 He hath also broken my teeth with stones, and hath couered me with ashes.
१६त्याने खड्यांनी माझे दात तोडले आहेत. त्याने मला राखेत लोटले आहे.
17 Thus my soule was farre off from peace: I forgate prosperitie,
१७माझ्या जीवनातील शांतीच तू काढून टाकली आहेस; कोणत्याही आनंदाचे मला स्मरण होत नाही.
18 And I saide, My strength and mine hope is perished from the Lord,
१८मी म्हणालो, “माझे बल आणि परमेश्वरावरची माझी आशा नष्ट झाली आहे.”
19 Remembring mine affliction, and my mourning, the wormewood and the gall.
१९माझे दुःख, कष्ट, कडू दवणा आणि विष ह्याचे स्मरण कर.
20 My soule hath them in remembrance, and is humbled in me.
२०मला माझ्या सर्व त्रासांची आठवण आहे. म्हणूनच मी माझ्यामध्ये नमलो आहे.
21 I consider this in mine heart: therefore haue I hope.
२१पण हे मी माझ्या मनात विचार करतो म्हणून मला आशा वाटते.
22 It is the Lordes mercies that wee are not consumed, because his compassions faile not.
२२ही परमेश्वराची प्रेमदया आहे की आम्ही नाश नाही झालो. त्याची करुणा कधी न संपणारी आहे.
23 They are renued euery morning: great is thy faithfulnesse.
२३ती प्रत्येक दिवशी नवीन होते; तुझे विश्वासूपण महान आहे.
24 The Lord is my portion, sayth my soule: therefore wil I hope in him.
२४माझा जीव म्हणतो, “परमेश्वर माझा वतनभाग आहे. म्हणूनच मी त्याच्यावर आशा ठेवीन.”
25 The Lord is good vnto them, that trust in him, and to the soule that seeketh him.
२५जे परमेश्वराची वाट पाहतात व जो जीव त्यास शोधतो, त्याला परमेश्वर चांगला आहे.
26 It is good both to trust, and to waite for the saluation of the Lord.
२६परमेश्वरापासून येणाऱ्या तारणाची मुकाट्याने वाट पाहणे हे चांगले आहे.
27 It is good for a man that he beare the yoke in his youth.
२७पुरूषाने आपल्या तरूणपणांत जू वाहावे हे त्यास फार चांगले आहे.
28 He sitteth alone, and keepeth silence, because he hath borne it vpon him.
२८ते परमेश्वराने त्याच्यावर ठेवले आहे म्हणून त्याने एकांती बसावे व स्वस्थ रहावे.
29 He putteth his mouth in the dust, if there may be hope.
२९त्याने आपले मुख धुळीत घातल्यास, कदाचित त्यास आशा प्राप्त होईल.
30 Hee giueth his cheeke to him that smiteth him: he is filled full with reproches.
३०एखाद्यास मारण्यासाठी खुशाल आपला गाल पुढे करून त्यास पूर्ण खजील करावे;
31 For the Lord will not forsake for euer.
३१कारण परमेश्वर त्यांचा कायमचा त्याग करणार नाही.
32 But though he sende affliction, yet will he haue compassion according to the multitude of his mercies.
३२जरी त्याने दुःख दिले तरी तो आपल्या दयेच्या विपुलतेनूसार करुणा करील.
33 For he doeth not punish willingly, nor afflict the children of men,
३३कारण तो आपल्या खुशीने कोणाचा छळ करत नाही आणि मनूष्य संतानास दुःख देत नाही.
34 In stamping vnder his feete all the prisoners of the earth,
३४पृथ्वीवरील सर्व बंदिवानांना पायाखाली तुडविणे,
35 In ouerthrowing the right of a man before the face of the most high,
३५परात्पराच्या समोर मनुष्याचे हक्क बुडवणे,
36 In subuerting a man in his cause: the Lord seeth it not.
३६एका व्यक्तीने दुसऱ्या व्यक्तीला फसविणे, या अशा गोष्टी परमेश्वराच्या दृष्टी आड आहेत काय?
37 Who is he then that sayth, and it commeth to passe, and the Lord commandeth it not?
३७परमेश्वराने आज्ञा केली नसता ज्याने काही बोलावे आणि ते घडून यावे असा कोणी आहे का?
38 Out of the mouth of the most high proceedeth not euill and good?
३८इष्ट व अनिष्ट ही सर्वश्रेष्ठ देवाच्या मुखातून येत नाहीत काय?
39 Wherefore then is the liuing man sorowfull? man suffreth for his sinne.
३९कोणत्याही जिवंत मनुष्याने व पुरूषाने आपल्या पापांच्या शिक्षेबद्दल कुरकुर का करावी?
40 Let vs search and try our wayes, and turne againe to the Lord.
४०चला तर आपण आपले मार्ग शोधू आणि तपासू आणि परमेश्वराकडे परत फिरू.
41 Let vs lift vp our hearts with our handes vnto God in the heauens.
४१आपण आपले हृदय व आपले हात स्वर्गातील देवाकडे उंचावूया.
42 We haue sinned, and haue rebelled, therefore thou hast not spared.
४२आम्ही पाप केले आहे, फितूरी केली आहे. म्हणूनच तू आम्हास क्षमा केली नाहीस.
43 Thou hast couered vs with wrath, and persecuted vs: thou hast slaine and not spared.
४३तू आपणाला क्रोधाने झाकून घेऊन आमचा पाठलाग केला आणि दया न दाखविता आम्हास ठार केलेस.
44 Thou hast couered thy selfe with a cloude, that our prayer should not passe through.
४४कोणतीही प्रार्थना तुझ्यापर्यंत पोहोचू नये म्हणून तू स्वतःला अभ्रांनी वेढले आहेस.
45 Thou hast made vs as the ofscouring and refuse in the middes of the people.
४५लोकांमध्ये तू आम्हास कचरा व धूळ ह्यासारखे केलेस.
46 All our enemies haue opened their mouth against vs.
४६आमच्या सर्व शत्रूंनी आम्हाविरूद्ध आपले तोंड वासले आहे.
47 Feare, and a snare is come vpon vs with desolation and destruction.
४७भय व खाच, नाश व विध्वंस ही आम्हावर आली आहे.
48 Mine eye casteth out riuers of water, for the destruction of the daughter of my people.
४८माझ्या लोकांच्या कन्येचा नाश झाला आहे, म्हणून माझ्या डोळयांना धारा लागल्या आहेत.
49 Mine eye droppeth without stay and ceaseth not,
४९माझे डोळे गळत आहेत व थांबत नाही;
50 Till the Lord looke downe, and beholde from heauen.
५०परमेश्वर स्वर्गातून आपली नजर खाली लावून पाहीपर्यंत त्याचा अंत होणार नाही.
51 Mine eye breaketh mine heart because of all the daughters of my citie.
५१माझ्या नगरातील सर्व कन्यांची स्थिती पाहून माझे डोळे मला दुःखी करतात.
52 Mine enemies chased me sore like a birde, without cause.
५२निष्कारण शत्रू बनलेल्या लोकांनी पाखरासारखा माझा पाठलाग केला आहे.
53 They haue shut vp my life in the dungeon, and cast a stone vpon me.
५३गर्तेत ढकलून त्यांनी माझ्या जिवाचा अंत केला आहे. आणि माझ्यावर दगड लोटला आहे.
54 Waters flowed ouer mine head, then thought I, I am destroyed.
५४माझ्या डोक्यावरून पाणी गेले. मी मनाशी म्हणालो, “आता माझा अंत होत आहे.”
55 I called vpon thy Name, O Lord, out of the lowe dungeon.
५५परमेश्वरा मी खोल खाचेतून तुझ्या नावाचा धावा केला.
56 Thou hast heard my voyce: stoppe not thine eare from my sigh and from my cry.
५६तू माझा आवाज ऐकलास. माझे उसासे व माझ्या आरोळीला आपला कान बंद करू नको.
57 Thou drewest neere in the day that I called vpon thee: thou saydest, Feare not.
५७मी तुझा धावा केला त्या दिवशी तू जवळ आलास व म्हणालास, “भिऊ नकोस.”
58 O Lord, thou hast maintained the cause of my soule, and hast redeemed my life.
५८परमेश्वरा, माझ्या जीवनातील वादविवादाकरिता तू मध्यस्थी केलीस, तू खंडणी भरून माझा जीव सोडवलास.
59 O Lord, thou hast seene my wrong, iudge thou my cause.
५९परमेश्वरा, माझ्याविषयी जो अन्याय झाला आहे, तो तू बघितला आहेस. तू मला न्याय दे.
60 Thou hast seene all their vengeance, and all their deuises against me.
६०माझ्याविरूद्ध रचलेले सुडाचे सर्व कृत्ये; आणि त्यांच्या योजना तू पाहिल्यास.
61 Thou hast heard their reproch, O Lord, and all their imaginations against me:
६१त्यांनी केलेला माझा उपहास आणि माझ्याविरूध्द आखलेले बेत. परमेश्वरा, तू ऐकले आहेस.
62 The lippes also of those that rose against me, and their whispering against me continually.
६२माझ्यावर उठलेले ओठ आणि सारा दिवस त्यांनी माझ्याविरुध्द केलेली योजना तू ऐकली आहे.
63 Behold, their sitting downe and their rising vp, how I am their song.
६३परमेश्वरा, त्यांचे बसने व उठने तू पाहा, मी त्यांच्या थट्टेचा विषय झालो आहे.
64 Giue them a recompence, O Lord, according to the worke of their handes.
६४परमेश्वरा, त्यांना योग्य ते फळ दे. त्यांच्या कार्मांची परतफेड कर.
65 Giue them sorow of heart, euen thy curse to them.
६५तू त्यांना हृदयाची कठोरता देशील, तुझा शाप त्यांना देशील.
66 Persecute with wrath and destroy them from vnder the heauen, O Lord.
६६क्रोधाने तू त्यांचा पाठलाग करशील व परमेश्वराच्या आकाशाखाली तू त्यांचा विध्वंस करशील.
