Judges 7
1 Then Ierubbaal (who is Gideon) rose vp early, and all the people that were with him, and pitched beside the well of Harod, so that the hoste of the Midianites was on the Northside of them in the valley by the hill of Moreh.
Kaj frue matene leviĝis Jerubaal, tio estas Gideon, kaj la tuta popolo, kiu estis kun li, kaj ili starigis sian tendaron ĉe la fonto Ĥarod; kaj la tendaro de Midjan estis rilate al li sur la norda flanko de la monteto More en la valo.
2 And the Lord said vnto Gideon, The people that are with thee, are too many for me to giue the Midianites into their hands, lest Israel make their vaunt against me, and say, Mine hand hath saued mee.
Kaj la Eternulo diris al Gideon: La popolo, kiu estas kun vi, estas tro grandnombra, por ke Mi transdonu la Midjanidojn en iliajn manojn; eble fieriĝos kontraŭ Mi Izrael, dirante: Mia mano helpis min.
3 Now therefore proclaime in the audience of the people, and say, Who so is timerous or fearefull, let him returne, and depart earely from mount Gilead. And there returned of the people which were at mount Gilead, two and twentie thousand: so ten thousand remayned.
Tial nun proklamu al la oreloj de la popolo jene: Kiu estas timema kaj tremema, tiu iru returne kaj foriru de la monto Gilead. Kaj iris returne el la popolo dudek du mil, kaj dek mil restis.
4 And the Lord said vnto Gideon, The people are yet too many: bring them downe vnto the water, and I will try them for thee there: and of whome I say vnto thee, This man shall goe with thee, the same shall go with thee: and of whomsoeuer I say vnto thee, This man shall not goe with thee, the same shall not go.
Kaj la Eternulo diris al Gideon: Ankoraŭ estas tro multe da popolo; konduku ilin malsupren al la akvo, kaj tie Mi ilin elektos por vi. Pri kiu Mi diros al vi: Ĉi tiu iru kun vi — tiu devas iri kun vi; kaj ĉiu, pri kiu Mi diros al vi: Ĉi tiu ne iru kun vi — tiu ne devas iri.
5 So he brought downe the people vnto the water. And the Lord sayd vnto Gideon, As many as lap the water with their tongues, as a dog lappeth, them put by themselues, and euery one that shall bow downe his knees to drinke, put apart.
Kaj li alvenigis la popolon al la akvo. Kaj la Eternulo diris al Gideon: Ĉiun, kiu lektrinkos akvon per sia lango, kiel lektrinkas hundo, tiun starigu aparte; ankaŭ ĉiun, kiu kliniĝos sur siaj genuoj, por trinki.
6 And the nomber of them that lapped by putting their handes to their mouthes, were three hundreth men: but all the remnant of the people kneeled downe vpon their knees to drinke water.
Kaj la nombro de tiuj, kiuj lektrinkis el la mano al la buŝo, estis tricent homoj; la tuta cetera popolo kliniĝis sur siaj genuoj, por trinki la akvon.
7 Then the Lord sayde vnto Gideon, By these three hundreth men that lapped, will I saue you, and deliuer the Midianites into thine hand: and let all the other people go euery man vnto his place.
Kaj la Eternulo diris al Gideon: Per la tricent homoj, kiuj lektrinkis, Mi helpos vin, kaj Mi transdonos la Midjanidojn en viajn manojn; kaj la tuta popolo foriru ĉiu al sia loko.
8 So the people tooke vitailes with them, and their trumpets: and he sent all the rest of Israel, euery man vnto his tent, and reteined the three hundreth men: and the hoste of Midian was beneath him in a valley.
Kaj ili prenis al si la manĝotaĵon de la popolo, kaj iliajn trumpetojn; kaj ĉiujn Izraelidojn li forsendis ĉiun al lia tendo, kaj la tricent homojn li retenis. La tendaro de Midjan estis malsupre de li en la valo.
9 And the same night the Lord sayde vnto him, Arise, get thee downe vnto the hoste: for I haue deliuered it into thine hand.
En tiu nokto la Eternulo diris al li: Leviĝu, iru malsupren en la tendaron; ĉar Mi transdonas ĝin en viajn manojn.
10 But if thou feare to go downe, then go thou, and Phurah thy seruant downe to the hoste,
Sed se vi timas malsupreniri, tiam iru vi kun via junulo Pura al la tendaro,
11 And thou shalt hearken what they say, and so shall thine handes be strong to go downe vnto the hoste. Then went he downe and Phurah his seruant vnto the outside of the souldiers that were in the hoste.
kaj aŭskultu, kion oni parolas; tiam fortiĝos viaj manoj, kaj vi iros malsupren en la tendaron. Kaj li iris kun sia junulo Pura al la unua armita taĉmenteto de la tendaro.
12 And the Midianites, and the Amalekites and all they of the East, lay in the valley like grashoppers in multitude, and their camels were without nomber, as the sande which is by the sea side for multitude.
La Midjanidoj kaj la Amalekidoj kaj ĉiuj orientanoj kuŝis en la valo en tia multego, kiel akridoj; kaj iliaj kameloj estis sennombraj, en tia multego, kiel la sablo sur la bordo de la maro.
13 And when Gideon was come, beholde, a man tolde a dreame vnto his neighbour, and said, Behold, I dreamed a dreame, and lo, a cake of barley bread tumbled from aboue into the hoste of Midian, and came vnto a tent, and smote it that it fell, and ouerturned it, that the tent fell downe.
Gideon venis, kaj jen unu rakontas al sia kamarado sonĝon, kaj diras: Mi vidis en sonĝo, ke jen elbakita hordea pano ruliĝis tra la tendaro de Midjan, kaj venis al tendo, kaj ekfrapis ĝin tiel, ke ĝi falis, kaj renversis ĝin, kaj la tendo tute kuŝis.
14 And his fellow answered, and sayde, This is nothing els saue the sworde of Gideon the sonne of Ioash a man of Israel: for into his hande hath God deliuered Midian and all the hoste.
Tiam lia kamarado respondis, dirante: Tio estas nenio alia, nur la glavo de Gideon, filo de Joaŝ, Izraelido; Dio transdonis en lian manon la Midjanidojn kaj la tutan tendaron.
15 When Gideon heard the dreame tolde, and the interpretation of the same, he worshipped, and returned vnto the hoste of Israel, and said, Vp: for the Lord hath deliuered into your hande the hoste of Midian.
Kaj kiam Gideon aŭdis la rakonton pri la sonĝo kaj la klarigon de ĝia signifo, li adorkliniĝis, kaj revenis en la tendaron de la Izraelidoj, kaj diris: Leviĝu, ĉar la Eternulo transdonis en viajn manojn la tendaron de Midjan.
16 And hee deuided the three hundreth men into three bandes, and gaue euery man a trumpet in his hande with emptie pitchers, and lampes within the pitchers.
Kaj li dividis la tricent homojn en tri taĉmentojn, kaj donis al ĉiuj en la manojn trumpetojn kaj malplenajn kruĉojn, kun torĉoj interne de la kruĉoj.
17 And he sayd vnto them, Looke on me, and do likewise, when I come to the side of the hoste: euen as I do, so do you.
Kaj li diris al ili: Rigardu min, kaj faru tion saman, kion mi faros; jen mi iras al la rando de la tendaro, kaj kion mi faros, tion faru ankaŭ vi.
18 When I blowe with a trumpet and all that are with me, blowe ye with trumpets also on euery side of the hoste, and say, For the Lord, and for Gideon.
Kiam mi kaj tiuj, kiuj estas kun mi, ekblovos per trumpeto, tiam ankaŭ vi blovu per la trumpetoj ĉirkaŭ la tuta tendaro, kaj kriu: Pro la Eternulo kaj pro Gideon!
19 So Gideon and the hundreth men that were with him, came vnto the outside of the hoste, in the beginning of the middle watche, and they raised vp the watchmen, and they blew with their trumpets, and brake the pitchers that were in their handes.
Kaj venis Gideon, kaj la cent homoj, kiuj estis kun li, al la rando de la tendaro en la komenco de la meza noktogardo, kiam ĵus stariĝis la gardistoj; kaj ili ekblovis per la trumpetoj, kaj rompis la kruĉojn, kiujn ili havis en la manoj.
20 And the three companies blew with trumpets and brake the pitchers, and helde the lampes in their left hands, and the trumpets in their right. handes to blowe withall: and they cryed, The sword of the Lord and of Gideon.
Tiam ekblovis la tri taĉmentoj per la trumpetoj kaj rompis la kruĉojn, kaj ili tenis en la maldekstra mano la torĉojn, kaj en la dekstra la trumpetojn por blovi, kaj ili kriis: Glavo pro la Eternulo kaj pro Gideon!
21 And they stoode, euery man in his place round about the hoste: and all the hoste ranne, and cryed, and fled.
Kaj ili staris ĉiu sur sia loko ĉirkaŭ la tendaro; kaj la tuta tendaranaro ekkuris; kaj ĉiuj ekkriis kaj forkuris.
22 And the three hundreth blewe with trumpets, and the Lord set euery mans sworde vpon his neighbour, and vpon all the hoste: so the hoste fled to Beth-hashittah in Zererah, and to the border of Abel-meholah, vnto Tabbath.
Kaj oni blovis per la tricent trumpetoj, kaj la Eternulo turnis en la tuta tendaro la glavon de unu kontraŭ alian; kaj la tendaranoj kuris ĝis Bet-Ŝita, al Cerera, ĝis la limo de Abel-Meĥola apud Tabat.
23 Then the men of Israel being gathered together out of Naphtali, and out of Asher, and out of all Manasseh, pursued after the Midianites.
Kaj oni kunvokis la Izraelidojn el Naftali kaj el Aŝer kaj el la tuta Manase, kaj ili postkuris la Midjanidojn.
24 And Gideon sent messengers vnto all mount Ephraim, saying, Come downe against the Midianites, and take before them the waters vnto Beth-barah, and Iorden. Then all the men of Ephraim gathered together and tooke the waters vnto Beth-barah, and Iorden.
Kaj Gideon sendis senditojn sur la tutan monton de Efraim, por diri: Kuru renkonte al la Midjanidoj kaj baru al ili la akvon ĝis Bet-Bara kaj ĝis Jordan. Kaj kolektiĝis ĉiuj Efraimidoj kaj baris la vojon ĝis Bet-Bara kaj ĝis Jordan.
25 And they tooke two princes of the Midianites, Oreb and Zeeb, and slew Oreb vpon the rocke Oreb, and slewe Zeeb at the winepresse of Zeeb, and pursued the Midianites, and brought the heads of Oreb and Zeeb to Gideon beyonde Iorden.
Kaj ili kaptis Orebon kaj Zeebon, du princojn de Midjan, kaj mortigis Orebon ĉe la roko de Oreb, kaj Zeebon ili mortigis ĉe la vinpremejo de Zeeb, kaj persekutis la Midjanidojn; kaj la kapojn de Oreb kaj Zeeb ili alportis al Gideon trans Jordanon.
