1 Bvt the children of Israel continued to commit wickednesse in the sight of the Lord, and the Lord deliuerd them into the handes of the Philistims fourtie yeere.

2 Then there was a man in Zorah of the familie of the Danites, named Manoah, whose wife was baren, and bare not.
Dan acaeng, Zorah vangpui kami, Manoah, tiah ahmin kaom kami maeto oh; anih ih zu loe, caa kaak, caa sah thai ai.
3 And the Angel of the Lord appeared vnto the woman, and said vnto her, Beholde nowe, thou art baren, and bearest not: but thou shalt conceiue, and beare a sonne.
Angraeng ih van kami to a zu khaeah angphong moe, anih khaeah, Khenah, vaihi nang loe caa na kaak, caa na sah ai; toe zokpomh ueloe, capa maeto na sah tih.
4 And nowe therefore beware that thou drinke no wine, nor strong drinke, neither eate any vncleane thing.

5 For loe, thou shalt conceiue and beare a sonne, and no rasor shall come on his head: for the childe shall be a Nazarite vnto God from his birth: and he shall begin to saue Israel out of the handes of the Philistims.

6 Then the wife came, and tolde her husband, saying, A man of God came vnto me, and the facion of him was like the facion of the Angel of God exceeding feareful, but I asked him not whence he was, neither told he me his name,
To pacoengah nongpata loe sava khaeah caeh moe, Sithaw kami maeto kai khaeah angzoh; anih loe Sithaw ih van kami baktiah oh, a krang loe zitthoh parai; naa bang hoiah maw nang zoh, tiah ka dueng ai moe, angmah ih ahmin doeh na thui ai.
7 But he saide vnto me, Beholde, thou shalt conceiue, and beare a sonne, and nowe thou shalt drinke no wine, nor strong drinke, neither eate any vncleane thing: for the childe shalbe a Nazarite to God from his birth to the day of his death.

8 Then Manoah prayed to the Lord and saide, I pray thee, my Lord, Let the man of God, whome thou sentest, come againe nowe vnto vs, and teach vs what we shall doe vnto the child when he is borne.
To naah Manoah mah Sithaw khaeah lawkthuih; Aw ka Angraeng, nang patoeh ih Sithaw kami to angzosak let loe, tapen han koi nawkta to kawbangmaw ka khetzawn han, tito na patuk nasoe, tiah a naa.
9 And God heard the voyce of Manoah, and the Angel of God came againe vnto the wife, as she sate in the fielde, but Manoah her husband was not with her.
Manoah lawkthuihaih to Sithaw mah tahngaih pae; nongpata loe lawk ah oh naah, Sithaw ih van kami anih khaeah angzoh pae let; to naah a sava Manoah loe anih khaeah om ai.
10 And the wife made haste and ranne, and shewed her husband and sayde vnto him, Behold, the man hath appeared vnto me, that came vnto me to day.
Nongpata loe a sava khaeah karangah cawnh moe, Khenah, canghniah kai khae angzo kami to, vaihi hae ah angzoh let, tiah a naa.
11 And Manoah arose and went after his wife, and came to the man, and saide vnto him, Art thou the man that spakest vnto the woman? and he said, Yea.
Manoah loe angthawk moe, a zu hnukah bang; to kami khae phak naah, Ka zu khae lokthuikung loe nang maw? tiah a naa. To naah anih mah, Ue kai ni, tiah a naa.
12 Then Manoah sayde, Nowe let thy saying come to passe: but howe shall we order the childe and doe vnto him?
Manoah mah, Na thuih ih lok akoep naah, nawkta loe kawbangmaw om ueloe, kawbangmaw ka khetzawn han loe? tiah a naa.
13 And the Angell of the Lord saide vnto Manoah, The woman must beware of all that I said vnto her.
Angraeng ih van kami mah, Manoah khaeah, Nongpata khae ka thuih pae ih loknawk baktiah anih mah khenzawn nasoe.
14 She may eate of nothing that commeth of the vinetree: she shall not drinke wine nor strong drinke, nor eate any vncleane thing: let her obserue all that I haue commanded her.
Misur takha thung hoi tacawt tidoeh caa mak ai ueloe, misurkung hoi tacawt tih hmuen doeh caa mak ai; misurtui hoi paquih thai koi hmuen tidoeh nae mak ai ueloe, ciimcai ai hmuen tidoeh caa mak ai; ka paek ih loknawk boih nongpata mah pazui nasoe, tiah a naa.
15 Manoah then said vnto the Angell of the Lord, I pray thee, let vs reteine thee, vntill we haue made readie a kid for thee.
Manoah mah Angraeng ih van kami khaeah, Nang han maeh caa maeto bop pacoeng ai kakroek to, hae ah om raeh, tiah a naa.
16 And the Angel of the Lord said vnto Manoah, Though thou make me abide, I will not eate of thy bread, and if thou wilt make a burnt offring, offer it vnto the Lord: for Manoah knewe not that it was an Angel of the Lord.
Angraeng ih van kami mah, Kai nang kang khruek cadoeh, nang ih buh to ka caa mak ai; toe hmai angbawnhaih sak na koeh nahaeloe, Angraeng khaeah sah ah, tiah a naa. Manoah mah anih loe Angraeng ih van kami ni, tiah panoek ai.
17 Againe Manoah said vnto the Angell of the Lord, What is thy name, that when thy saying is come to passe, we may honour thee?
To pacoengah Manoah mah Angraeng ih van kami khaeah, Na thuih ih lok akoep naah na hmin pakoeh hanah, na hmin loe mi aa? tiah a dueng.
18 And the Angell of the Lord saide vnto him, Why askest thou thus after my name, which is secret?
Anih mah tih hanah ka hmin nang dueng loe? Ka hmin loe dawnrai koiah oh, tiah a naa.
19 Then Manoah tooke a kid with a meate offering, and offered it vpon a stone vnto the Lord: and the Angell did wonderously, whiles Manoah and his wife looked on.
To pacoengah Manoah mah maeh caa to lak moe, canghum hoi nawnto angbawnhaih to thlung nuiah Angraeng khaeah paek; Manoah hoi a zu mah khet hoi li naah, van kami mah dawnrai hmuen to sak.
20 For when the flame came vp toward heauen from the altar, the Angel of the Lord ascended vp in the flame of the altar, and Manoah and his wife behelde it, and fell on their faces vnto the grounde.
Hmaicam thung hoiah van bangah hmai angqong tahang naah, Angraeng ih van kami loe hmaicam hmai kangqong pongah van ah dawh tahang; Manoah hoi a zu mah hnuk hoi naah, long ah mikhmai akuep hoi.
21 (So the Angel of the Lord did no more appeare vnto Manoah and his wife.) Then Manoah knewe that it was an Angel of the Lord.
Manoah hoi a zu khaeah van kami to amtueng let ai boeh. To pacoengah loe Manoah mah Anih loe Angraeng ih van kami ni, tiah panoek.
22 And Manoah said vnto his wife, We shall surely dye, because we haue seene God.
To naah Manoah mah a zu khaeah, Sithaw a hnuk hoi boeh pongah, a dueh hoi tangtang tih boeh, tiah a naa.
23 But his wife saide vnto him, If the Lord woulde kill vs, he woulde not haue receiued a burnt offring, and a meate offring of our hands, neither would he haue shewed vs all these things, nor would now haue tolde vs any such.

24 And the wife bare a sonne, and called his name Samson: and the childe grewe, and the Lord blessed him.
Nongpata mah capa maeto tapen, anih ih ahmin to Samson, tiah a sak; anih loe qoeng tahang moe, Angraeng mah tahamhoihaih paek.
25 And the Spirite of the Lord beganne to strengthen him in the host of Dan, betweene Zorah, and Eshtaol.
Zorah hoi Eshtaol vangpui salak, Dan kaminawk ataihaih ahmuen ah oh naah, Angraeng ih Muithla mah anih khaeah toksak amtong.
