Jude 1
1 IVde a seruaunt of Iesus Christ, and brother of Iames, to them which are called and sanctified of God the Father, and returned to Iesus Christ:
Judas, Jesu Kristi tjänare och Jakobs broder, hälsar de kallade, dem som äro upptagna i Guds, Faderns, kärlek och bevarade åt Jesus Kristus.
2 Mercie vnto you, and peace and loue be multiplied.
Barmhärtighet och frid och kärlek föröke sig hos eder.
3 Beloued, when I gaue al diligece to write vnto you of the common saluation, it was needful for me to write vnto you to exhort you, that yee should earnestly contend for the maintenace of ye faith, which was once giuen vnto the Saintes.
Mina älskade, då jag nu med all iver har tagit mig för att skriva till eder om vår gemensamma frälsning, finner jag det nödigt att i min skrivelse förmana eder att kämpa för den tro som en gång för alla har blivit meddelad åt de heliga.
4 For there are certaine men crept in, which were before of olde ordeined to this condemnation: vngodly men they are which turne the grace of our God into wantonnesse, and denie God the onely Lord, and our Lord Iesus Christ.
Några människor hava nämligen innästlat sig hos eder -- några om vilka det för länge sedan blev skrivet att de skulle hemfalla under den domen -- ogudaktiga människor, som missbruka vår Guds nåd till lösaktighet och förneka vår ende härskare och herre, Jesus Kristus.
5 I wil therfore put you in remebrance, forasmuch as ye once knew this, how that the Lord, after that he had deliuered the people out of Egypt, destroied them afterward which beleeued not.
Men fastän I redan en gång haven fått kunskap om alltsammans, vill jag påminna eder därom, att Herren, sedan han hade frälst sitt folk ur Egyptens land, efteråt förgjorde dem som icke trodde,
6 The Angels also which kept not their first estate, but left their owne habitation, hee hath reserued in euerlasting chaines vnder darkenesse vnto the iudgement of the great day. (aïdios g126)
så ock därom, att de änglar som icke behöllo sin furstehöghet, utan övergåvo sin boning, hava av honom med eviga bojor blivit förvarade i mörker till den stora dagens dom. (aïdios g126)
7 As Sodom and Gomorrhe, and the cities about them, which in like maner as they did, committed fornication, and followed strange flesh, are set foorth for an ensample, and suffer the vengeance of eternall fire. (aiōnios g166)
Likaså hava ock Sodom och Gomorra med kringliggande städer, vilka på samma sätt som de förra bedrevo otukt och stodo efter annat umgänge än det naturliga, blivit satta till ett varnande exempel, i det att de få lida straff i evig eld. (aiōnios g166)
8 Likewise notwithstanding these sleepers also defile the flesh, and despise gouernment, and speake euill of them that are in authoritie.
Dock göra nu också dessa människor på samma sätt, förblindade av sina drömmar: köttet besmitta de, men andevärldens herrar förakta de, och dess härlige smäda de.
9 Yet Michael the Archangell, when hee stroue against the deuill, and disputed about the body of Moses, durst not blame him with cursed speaking, but sayd, The Lord rebuke thee.
Icke så Mikael, överängeln; när denne tvistade med djävulen angående Moses' kropp, dristade han sig icke att över honom uttala någon smädande dom, utan sade allenast: »Herren näpse dig.»
10 But these speake euill of those thinges, which they know not: and whatsoeuer things they know naturally, as beasts, which are without reason, in those things they corrupt them selues.
Dessa åter smäda vad de icke känna till; och vad de, likasom de oskäliga djuren, med sina naturliga sinnen kunna fatta, det bruka de till sitt fördärv.
11 Wo be vnto them: for they haue followed the way of Cain, and are cast away by the deceit of Balaams wages, and perish in the gainsaying of Core.
Ve dem! De hava trätt in på Kains väg, de hava för löns skull störtat sig i Balaams villfarelse och hava gått förlorade till följd av en gensträvighet lik Koras.
12 These are rockes in your feasts of charitie when they feast with you, without al feare, feeding themselues: cloudes they are without water, caried about of windes, corrupt trees and without fruit, twise dead, and plucked vp by ye rootes.
Det är dessa som få hålla gästabud med eder, där de sitta såsom skamfläckar vid edra kärleksmåltider och oförsynt se sig själva till godo. De äro skyar utan vatten, skyar som drivas bort av vindarna. De äro träd som stå nakna på senhösten, ofruktbara, i dubbel måtto döda, uppryckta med rötterna.
13 They are the raging waues of the sea, foming out their owne shame: they are wandring starres, to whome is reserued the blackenesse of darkenesse for euer. (aiōn g165)
De äro vilda havsvågor som uppkasta sina egna skändligheters skum. De äro irrande stjärnor, åt vilka det svarta mörkret är förvarat till evig tid. (aiōn g165)
14 And Enoch also the seuenth from Adam, prophecied of such, saying, Beholde, the Lord commeth with thousands of his Saints,
Om dessa var det ock som Enok, den sjunde från Adam, profeterade och sade: »Se, Herren kommer med sina mångtusen heliga,
15 To giue iudgement against al men, and to rebuke all the vngodly among them of all their wicked deeds, which they haue vngodly committed, and of all their cruel speakings, which wicked sinners haue spoken against him.
för att hålla dom över alla och bestraffa alla de ogudaktiga för alla de ogudaktiga gärningar som de hava övat, och för alla de förmätna ord som de i sin syndiga ogudaktighet hava talat mot honom.»
16 These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their owne lustes: Whose mouthes speake proud things, hauing mens persons in admiration, because of aduantage.
De äro människor som alltid knorra och knota över sin lott, medan de likväl vandra efter sina egna begärelser. Och deras mun talar stora ord, under det att de dock av egennytta söka vara människor till behag.
17 But, yee beloued, remember the wordes which were spoken before of the Apostles of our Lord Iesus Christ,
Men kommen ihåg, I mina älskade, vad som har blivit förutsagt av vår Herres, Jesu Kristi, apostlar,
18 How that they told you that there should be mockers in ye last time, which should walke after their owne vngodly lustes.
huru de sade till eder: »I den yttersta tiden skola bespottare uppstå, som vandra efter sina egna ogudaktiga begärelser.»
19 These are they that separate them selues from other, naturall, hauing not the Spirit.
Det är dessa människor som vålla söndringar, dessa som äro »själiska» och icke hava ande.
20 But, yee beloued, edifie your selues in your most holy faith, praying in the holy Ghost,
Men I, mina älskade, uppbyggen eder på eder allraheligaste tro, bedjen i den helige Ande,
21 And keepe your selues in the loue of God, looking for the mercie of our Lord Iesus Christ, vnto eternall life. (aiōnios g166)
och bevaren eder så i Guds kärlek, under det att I vänten på vår Herres, Jesu Kristi, barmhärtighet, till evigt liv. (aiōnios g166)
22 And haue compassion of some, in putting difference:
Mot somliga av dem, sådana som äro tvivlande, mån I vara barmhärtiga
23 And other saue with feare, pulling them out of the fire, and hate euen that garment which is spotted by the flesh.
och frälsa dem genom att rycka dem ur elden; mot de andra mån I också vara barmhärtiga, dock med fruktan, så att I avskyn till och med deras livklädnad, den av köttet befläckade.
24 Nowe vnto him that is able to keepe you, that ye fall not, and to present you faultlesse before the presence of his glorie with ioy,
Men honom som förmår bevara eder ifrån fall och ställa eder inför sin härlighet ostraffliga, i fröjd,
25 That is, to God only wise, our Sauiour, be glorie, and maiestie, and dominion, and power, both nowe and for euer, Amen. (aiōn g165)
honom som allena är Gud, och som är vår Frälsare genom Jesus Kristus, vår Herre, honom tillhör ära, majestät, välde och makt, såsom före all tid, så ock nu och i alla evigheter. Amen. Se Själisk i Ordförkl (aiōn g165)
