Joshua 8
1 After, the Lord saide vnto Ioshua, Feare not, neither bee thou faint hearted: take all the men of warre with thee and arise, go vp to Ai: beholde, I haue giuen into thine hand the King of Ai, and his people, and his citie, and his land.
ಆಗ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಯೆಹೋಶುವನಿಗೆ, “ಭಯಪಡಬೇಡ, ನಿರುತ್ಸಾಹಗೊಳ್ಳಬೇಡ, ನೀನು ಸಮಸ್ತ ಸೈನ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಎದ್ದು ಆಯಿ ಎಂಬ ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೆ ಏರಿ ಹೋಗು. ನೋಡು, ನಾನು ಆಯಿ ಎಂಬ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಅರಸನನ್ನೂ ಅವನ ಜನರನ್ನೂ ಅವನ ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನೂ ಅವನ ಸೀಮೆಯನ್ನೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
2 And thou shalt doe to Ai and to the King thereof, as thou didst vnto Iericho and to the King thereof: neuerthelesse the spoyle thereof and the cattell thereof shall ye take vnto you for a praye: thou shalt lye in wait against the citie on the backside thereof.
ನೀನು ಯೆರಿಕೋವಿಗೂ ಅದರ ಅರಸನಿಗೂ ಯಾವ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಮಾಡಿದೆಯೋ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಆಯಿ ಎಂಬ ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೂ ಅದರ ಅರಸನಿಗೂ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು. ಅದರ ಕೊಳ್ಳೆಯನ್ನೂ, ಪಶುಪ್ರಾಣಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾತ್ರವೇ ನಿಮಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ. ನೀವು ಆ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಹಿಂಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಂಚುಹಾಕಲು ಸ್ಥಳಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ,” ಎಂದರು.
3 Then Ioshua arose, and all the men of warre to goe vp against Ai: and Ioshua chose out thirtie thousand strong men, and valiant, and sent them away by night.
ಆಗ ಆಯಿ ಎಂಬ ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೆ ಏರಿ ಹೋಗಲು ಯೆಹೋಶುವನೂ, ಸಮಸ್ತ ಸೈನಿಕರೂ ಎದ್ದರು. ಆದರೆ ಯೆಹೋಶುವನು ಪರಾಕ್ರಮಶಾಲಿಗಳಾದ ಮೂವತ್ತು ಸಾವಿರ ಜನರನ್ನು ಆಯ್ದುಕೊಂಡು ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು.
4 And he commanded them, saying, Behold, yee shall lye in waite against the citie on the backeside of the citie: goe not very farre from the citie, but be ye all in a readinesse.
ಅವರಿಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿ, “ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಹಿಂದೆ ನೀವು ಹೊಂಚಿಕೊಂಡಿರಿ, ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೆ ಬಹುದೂರ ಹೋಗಬೇಡಿರಿ. ನೀವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಸಿದ್ಧವಾಗಿರಿ.
5 And I and all the people that are with me, will approche vnto the citie: and when they shall come out against vs, as they did at the first time, then will we flee before them.
ಆದರೆ ನಾನೂ, ನನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇರುವ ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಸಮೀಪಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರುವೆವು. ಆಗ, ಅವರು ಮುಂಚಿನ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ನಮಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಿಂದ ಹೊರಟು ಬರುವಾಗ ಅವರ ಮುಂದೆ ನಾವು ಓಡಿ ಹೋಗುವೆವು.
6 For they wil come out after vs, till we haue brought them out of the citie: for they will say, They flee before vs as at the first time: so we will flee before them.
ಆಗ ಅವರು, ‘ಮುಂಚಿನ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ನಮ್ಮ ಮುಂದೆ ಓಡಿಹೋಗುತ್ತಾರೆ,’ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು. ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಬಳಿಯಿಂದ ದೂರದವರೆಗೂ ಅವರು ಬರುವವರೆಗೆ ನಾವು ಓಡಿ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಲೇ ಇರುವೆವು.
7 Then you shall rise vp from lying in waite and destroy the citie: for the Lord your God wil deliuer it into your hand.
ಆಗ ನೀವು ಹೊಂಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಸ್ಥಳದಿಂದ ಎದ್ದು ಬಂದು ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಧೀನಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ. ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಅದನ್ನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕೈಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಡುವರು.
8 And when ye haue taken the citie, ye shall set it on fire: according to the commandement of the Lord shall ye do: behold, I haue charged you.
ನೀವು ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದ ತರುವಾಯ, ಬೆಂಕಿ ಹಚ್ಚಿ, ಅದನ್ನು ಸುಟ್ಟುಬಿಟ್ಟು, ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಆಜ್ಞೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೇ ಮಾಡಿರಿ. ನಾನು ಇದನ್ನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ,” ಎಂದನು.
9 Ioshua then sent them foorth, and they went to lye in waite, and abode betweene Beth-el and Ai, on the Westside of Ai: but Ioshua lodged that night among the people.
ಯೆಹೋಶುವನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದಾಗ ಅವರು ಹೋಗಿ ಹೊಂಚಿಕೊಂಡು ಬೇತೇಲಿಗೂ ಆಯಿ ಎಂಬ ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೂ ನಡುವೆ ಆಯಿ ಎಂಬ ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೆ ಪಶ್ಚಿಮದ ಕಡೆ ಅಡಗಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಆದರೆ ಯೆಹೋಶುವನು ಆ ರಾತ್ರಿ ಜನರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಳಿದನು.
10 And Ioshua rose vp early in the morning, and nombred the people: and he and the Elders of Israel went vp before the people against Ai.
ಉದಯಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋಶುವನು ಎದ್ದು ಸೈನ್ಯವನ್ನು ಲೆಕ್ಕ ಮಾಡಿ, ತಾನೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಹಿರಿಯರೂ ಜನರ ಮುಂದೆ ನಡೆದು ಆಯಿ ಎಂಬ ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೆ ಏರಿಹೋದರು.
11 Also all the men of warre that were with him went vp and drewe neere, and came against the citie, and pitched on the Northside of Ai: and there was a valley betweene them and Ai.
ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದ ಸೈನಿಕರೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಡೆದು ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಸಮೀಪವಾಗಿ ಬಂದು ಸೇರಿ, ಆಯಿ ಎಂಬ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಉತ್ತರ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಳೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಳಿದುಕೊಂಡರು. ಆದರೆ ಆಯಿ ಎಂಬ ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೂ ಅವರಿಗೂ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಕಣಿವೆ ಇತ್ತು.
12 And hee tooke about fiue thousande men, and set them to lye in waite betweene Beth-el and Ai, on the Westside of the citie.
ಯೆಹೋಶುವನು ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಕಡಿಮೆ ಐದು ಸಾವಿರ ಜನರನ್ನು ಆಯ್ದುಕೊಂಡು, ಆ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ ಕಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬೇತೇಲಿಗೂ, ಆಯಿ ಎಂಬ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ನಡುವೆ ಹೊಂಚಿಹಾಕಿಕೊಂಡಿರಲು ಅವರನ್ನು ಇಟ್ಟನು.
13 And the people set all the hoste that was on the Northside against the citie, and the liers in waite on the West, against the citie: and Ioshua went the same night into the mids of the valley.
ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೆ ಉತ್ತರದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸಕಲ ಸೈನ್ಯದ ಜನರನ್ನೂ, ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೆ ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಂಚುಗಾರರನ್ನೂ ಇಟ್ಟ ತರುವಾಯ ಯೆಹೋಶುವನು ಆ ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಣಿವೆಯ ಮಧ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದನು.
14 And when the King of Ai sawe it, then the men of the citie hasted and rose vp earely, and went out against Israel to battell, hee and all his people at the time appointed, before the plaine: for he knew not that any lay in waite against him on the backeside of the citie.
ಆಯಿ ಎಂಬ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಅರಸನು ಇದನ್ನು ಕಂಡಾಗ, ಆ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಜನರು ತ್ವರೆಪಟ್ಟು, ಉದಯಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಎದ್ದು, ನಿಶ್ಚಯಿಸಿದ ವೇಳೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆಯಿ ಎಂಬ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಅರಸನೂ ಅವನ ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿಗೆ ಎದುರಾಗಿ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡಲು ಬಯಲಿಗೆ ಹೊರಟರು. ಅವನೂ ಅವನ ಜನರೂ ಅರಾಬಾ ಎಂಬ ತಗ್ಗಾದ ಪ್ರದೇಶವು ಕಾಣುವ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದರು. ಆದರೆ ಅವನು ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಹಿಂದೆ ತನಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಹೊಂಚಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವವರನ್ನು ಅರಿಯದೆ ಇದ್ದನು.
15 Then Ioshua and all Israel as beaten before them, fled by the way of the wildernes.
ಅವರ ಮುಂದೆ ಯೆಹೋಶುವನೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಸೋತವರ ಹಾಗೆ ಮರುಭೂಮಿಯ ಮಾರ್ಗವಾಗಿ ಓಡಿಹೋದರು.
16 And all the people of the citie were called together, to pursue after them: and they pursued after Ioshua, and were drawen away out of the city,
ಆಗ ಆಯಿ ಎಂಬ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನು ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹಿಂದಟ್ಟುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆಯಲಾದವರು ಯೆಹೋಶುವನನ್ನು ಹಿಂದಟ್ಟಿದರು. ಹೀಗೆ ಅವರು ಆ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಿಂದ ಹೊರಬಂದರು.
17 So that there was not a man left in Ai, nor in Beth-el, that went not out after Israel: and they left the citie open, and pursued after Israel.
ಆಯಿ ಎಂಬ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಬೇತೇಲಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಹಿಂದೆ ಹೊರಟು ಹೋಗದ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಒಬ್ಬನೂ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ತೆರೆದಿಟ್ಟು ಹೋಗಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರನ್ನು ಹಿಂದಟ್ಟಿದರು.
18 Then the Lord said vnto Ioshua, Stretch out the speare that is in thine hande, towarde Ai: for I wil giue it into thine hand: and Ioshua stretched out the speare that hee had in his hand, toward the citie.
ಆಗ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಯೆಹೋಶುವನಿಗೆ, “ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಈಟಿಯನ್ನು ಆಯಿ ಎಂಬ ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೆ ಎದುರಾಗಿ ಚಾಚು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅದನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಡುವೆನು,” ಎಂದರು. ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಈಟಿಯನ್ನು ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೆ ಎದುರಾಗಿ ಚಾಚಿದನು.
19 And they that lay in wait, arose quickly out of their place, and ranne as soone as he had stretched out his hand, and they entred into the citie, and tooke it, and hasted, and set the citie on fire.
ಆಗ ಹೊಂಚುಗಾರರು ತ್ವರೆಯಾಗಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಸ್ಥಳದಿಂದ ಎದ್ದು ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿ, ಸೆರೆಹಿಡಿದು ಕೂಡಲೆ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಬೆಂಕಿಯನ್ನು ಹಚ್ಚಿದರು.
20 And the men of Ai looked behinde them, and sawe it: for loe, the smoke of the citie ascended vp to heauen, and they had no power to flee this way or that way: for the people that fled to the wildernesse, turned backe vpon the pursuers.
ಆಯಿ ಎಂಬ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಮನುಷ್ಯರು ಹಿಂದಕ್ಕೆ ತಿರುಗಿ ನೋಡಿದಾಗ, ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಹೊಗೆ ಹೊತ್ತಿ ಆಕಾಶಕ್ಕೆ ಏಳುವುದನ್ನು ಕಂಡರು. ಹೇಗಾದರೂ ಓಡಿಹೋಗಲು ಅವರಿಗೆ ತ್ರಾಣ ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ಹೋಯಿತು. ಆಗ ಮರುಭೂಮಿಗೆ ಓಡಿ ಹೋದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ಹಿಂದಟ್ಟಿದವರ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿದರು.
21 When Ioshua and all Israel sawe that they that lay in waite, had taken the citie, and that the smoke of the citie mounted vp, then they turned againe and slewe the men of Ai.
ಪಟ್ಟಣವು ಹೊಂಚುಗಾರರಿಗೆ ಸ್ವಾಧೀನವಾದುದನ್ನೂ ಹೊಗೆ ಆಕಾಶಕ್ಕೆ ಏರುತ್ತಿದ್ದುದನ್ನೂ ಕಂಡಾಗ ಯೆಹೋಶುವನೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರೂ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಿ ಆಯಿ ಎಂಬ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಜನರ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಿದ್ದರು.
22 Also the other issued out of the citie against them: so were they in the middes of Israel, these being on the one side, and the rest on the other side: and they slewe them, so that they let none of them remaine nor escape.
ಅವರು ಪಟ್ಟಣದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಇವರಿಗೆ ಎದುರಾಗಿ ಬಂದ ಕಾರಣ, ಅವರು ಈ ಕಡೆ ಆ ಕಡೆ ಇರುವ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದರು. ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಇಬ್ಬರೂ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಅವರನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದರು.
23 And the King of Ai they tooke aliue, and brought him to Ioshua.
ಆಯಿ ಎಂಬ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಅರಸನನ್ನು ಜೀವಸಹಿತ ಹಿಡಿದು ಯೆಹೋಶುವನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತಂದರು.
24 And when Israel had made an ende of slaying all the inhabitants of Ai in the fielde, that is, in the wildernesse, where they chased them, and when they were all fallen on the edge of the sworde, vntill they were consumed, all the Israelites returned vnto Ai, and smote it with the edge of the sworde.
ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ಮರುಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಬಯಲಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಓಡಿಸಿದ ಆಯಿ ಎಂಬ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನೂ ಖಡ್ಗದಿಂದ ಸಂಹರಿಸಿದ ನಂತರ ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿದ್ದವರನ್ನು ಕೊಂದರು.
25 And all that fell that day, both of men and women, were twelue thousande, euen all the men of Ai.
ಆ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಯಿ ಎಂಬ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿಯ ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಸಾವಿರ ಜನರು ಹತರಾದರು.
26 For Ioshua drewe not his hande backe againe which he had stretched out with the speare, vntill hee had vtterly destroyed all the inhabitants of Ai.
ಆಯಿ ಎಂಬ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನೂ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ನಾಶವಾಗುವವರೆಗೂ ಯೆಹೋಶುವನು ಚಾಚಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ತನ್ನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಈಟಿಯನ್ನು ಹಿಂದೆಗೆಯಲಿಲ್ಲ.
27 Onely the cattell and the spoyle of this citie, Israel tooke for a praye vnto themselues, according vnto the worde of the Lord, which hee commanded Ioshua.
ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಯೆಹೋಶುವನಿಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ ಮಾತಿನ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೇ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ಆ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಪಶುಪ್ರಾಣಿಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಕೊಳ್ಳೆಯನ್ನೂ ತಮಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡರು.
28 And Ioshua burnt Ai, and made it an heape for euer, and a wildernes vnto this day.
ಯೆಹೋಶುವನು ಆಯಿ ಎಂಬ ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ಸುಟ್ಟುಬಿಟ್ಟು, ಅದನ್ನು ಮರಳಿ ಕಟ್ಟಲಾಗದಂತೆ ಹಾಳು ದಿಬ್ಬವಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದನು. ಅದು ಇಂದಿನವರೆಗೂ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಉಳಿದಿದೆ.
29 And the King of Ai hee hanged on a tree, vnto the euening. And as soone as the sunne was down, Ioshua commanded that they should take his carkeis downe from the tree, and cast it at the entring of ye gate of the city, and lay thereon a great heape of stones, that remaineth vnto this day.
ಆಯಿ ಎಂಬ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಅರಸನನ್ನು ಸಾಯಂಕಾಲದವರೆಗೂ ಒಂದು ಮರದಲ್ಲಿ ತೂಗಿಹಾಕಿಸಿದನು. ಸೂರ್ಯ ಅಸ್ತಮಿಸುವಾಗ ಯೆಹೋಶುವನು ಅವನ ಹೆಣವನ್ನು ಮರದಿಂದ ಇಳಿಸಿ, ಅದನ್ನು ಆ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಬಾಗಿಲಿನ ದ್ವಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕಲು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದನು. ಆಗ ಅವರು ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಆ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಕಲ್ಲು ಕುಪ್ಪೆಯನ್ನು ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಇಟ್ಟರು. ಅದು ಇಂದಿನವರೆಗೂ ಇದೆ.
30 Then Ioshua built an altar vnto the Lord God of Israel, in mount Ebal,
ಆಗ ಯೆಹೋಶುವನು ಏಬಾಲ್ ಪರ್ವತದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಒಂದು ಬಲಿಪೀಠವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿದನು.
31 As Moses the seruant of the Lord had commanded the children of Israel, as it is written in the booke of the Lawe of Moses, an altar of whole stone, ouer which no man had lift an yron: and they offered thereon burnt offrings vnto the Lord, and sacrificed peace offerings.
ಸೇವಕನಾದ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಿಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದಂತೆ, ಮೋಶೆಯ ನಿಯಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆದಿರುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಉಳಿಮುಟ್ಟದ ಪೂರ್ಣವಾದ ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳಿಂದ ಬಲಿಪೀಠವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿದನು. ಆಗ ಅವರು ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ದಹನಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸಮಾಧಾನ ಸಮರ್ಪಣೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದರು.
32 Also he wrote there vpon the stones, a rehearsall of the Lawe of Moses, which he wrote in the presence of the children of Israel.
ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಸಮಕ್ಷಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೋಶೆ ಬರೆದಿದ್ದ ಮೋಶೆಯ ನಿಯಮದ ಪ್ರತಿಯನ್ನು ಬರೆದನು.
33 And all Israel (and their Elders, and officers and their iudges stoode on this side of the Arke, and on that side, before the Priestes of the Leuites, which bare the Arke of the couenant of the Lord) as well the stranger, as he that is borne in the countrey: halfe of them were ouer against mount Gerizim, and halfe of them ouer against mount Ebal, as Moses the seruant of the Lord had commanded before, that they should blesse the people of Israel.
ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಅವರ ಹಿರಿಯರೂ ಅವರ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳೂ ಅವರ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಧಿಪತಿಗಳೂ ಪರದೇಶಸ್ಥರೂ ಸ್ವದೇಶಸ್ಥರೂ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯ ಮಂಜೂಷವನ್ನು ಹೊರುವ ಲೇವಿಯರಾದ ಯಾಜಕರ ಮುಂದೆ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯ ಮಂಜೂಷಕ್ಕೆ ಈ ಕಡೆಯೂ ಆ ಕಡೆಯೂ ಅರ್ಧ ಗೆರಿಜೀಮ್ ಪರ್ವತದ ಕಡೆಗೂ ಅರ್ಧ ಏಬಾಲ್ ಪರ್ವತದ ಮುಂದೆಯೂ ನಿಂತರು. ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಸೇವಕ ಮೋಶೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸುವಂತೆ ಮುಂಚೆ ವಾಕ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟಾಗ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ನಿಂತರು.
34 Then afterwarde hee read all the wordes of the Lawe, the blessings and cursings, according to all that is written in the booke of the Lawe.
ತರುವಾಯ ಯೆಹೋಶುವನು ದೇವರ ನಿಯಮ ಗ್ರಂಥದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆದಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಶಾಪಗಳನ್ನೂ ಓದಿದನು.
35 There was not a worde of all that Moses had commanded, which Ioshua read not before all the Congregation of Israel, as well before the women and the children, as the stranger that was conuersant among them.
ಮೋಶೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ್ದರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದನ್ನೂ ಬಿಡದೆ ಮಹಿಳೆಯರಿಗೂ, ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೂ, ಅನ್ಯದೇಶೀಯರಿಗೂ ಕೇಳಿಸುವಂತೆ ಸರ್ವಸಮೂಹದ ಮುಂದೆ ಓದಿದನು.
