Joshua 21
1 Then came the principall fathers of the Leuites vnto Eleazar the Priest, and vnto Ioshua the sonne of Nun, and vnto the chiefe fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel,
Então os chefes das casas dos pais dos levitas se aproximaram de Eleazar, o sacerdote, e de Josué, o filho de Freira, e dos chefes das casas dos pais das tribos dos filhos de Israel.
2 And spake vnto them at Shiloh in the land of Canaan, saying, The Lord commanded by the hande of Moses, to giue vs cities to dwell in, with the suburbes thereof for our cattell.
Eles falaram com eles em Shiloh, na terra de Canaã, dizendo: “Javé ordenou através de Moisés que nos dessem cidades para morar, com suas terras de pasto para nosso gado”.
3 So the children of Israel gaue vnto the Leuites, out of their inheritance at the commandement of the Lord these cities with their suburbes.
Os filhos de Israel deram aos Levitas, de sua herança, de acordo com o mandamento de Javé, estas cidades com suas terras de pasto.
4 And the lot came out for the families of the Kohathites: and the children of Aaron ye Priest, which were of the Leuites, had by lot, out of the tribe of Iudah, and out of the tribe of Simeon, and out of the tribe of Beniamin thirteene cities.
O lote saiu para as famílias dos Kohathitas. Os filhos de Aarão, o sacerdote, que eram dos levitas, tinham treze cidades por sorteio da tribo de Judá, da tribo dos simeonitas e da tribo de Benjamim.
5 And the rest of the children of Kohath had by lot out of the families of the tribe of Ephraim, and out of the tribe of Dan, and out of the halfe tribe of Manasseh, tenne cities.
O resto dos filhos de Kohath tinha dez cidades por sorte das famílias da tribo de Efraim, da tribo de Dan, e da meia tribo de Manasseh.
6 Also the children of Gershon had by lot out of the families of the tribe of Issachar, and out of the tribe of Asher, and out of ye tribe of Naphtali, and out of the halfe tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, thirteene cities.
Os filhos de Gershon tinham treze cidades por sorte das famílias da tribo de Issachar, da tribo de Asher, da tribo de Naftali e da meia tribo de Manasseh em Bashan.
7 The children of Merari according to their families had out of the tribe of Reuben, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun, twelue cities.
As crianças de Merari de acordo com suas famílias tinham doze cidades da tribo de Reuben, da tribo de Gad, e da tribo de Zebulun.
8 So the children of Israel gaue by lot vnto the Leuites these cities with their suburbes, as the Lord had commanded by the hand of Moses.
Os filhos de Israel deram estas cidades com suas terras de pasto por sorteio aos levitas, como ordenou o Yahweh por Moisés.
9 And they gaue out of the tribe of the children of Iudah, and out of the tribe of the children of Simeo, these cities which are here named.
Eles deram da tribo dos filhos de Judá, e da tribo dos filhos de Simeão, estas cidades que são mencionadas pelo nome:
10 And they were the childrens of Aaron being of the families of the Kohathites, and of the sonnes of Leui, (for theirs was the first lot)
e eram para os filhos de Arão, das famílias dos coatitas, que eram dos filhos de Levi; pois a deles foi o primeiro lote.
11 So they gaue them Kiriath-arba of the father of Anok (which is Hebron) in the mountaine of Iudah, with the suburbes of the same round about it.
Eles lhes deram Kiriath Arba, com o nome do pai de Anak (também chamado Hebron), na região montanhosa de Judá, com suas terras de pasto ao seu redor.
12 (But the lande of the citie, and the villages thereof, gaue they to Caleb the sonne of Iephunneh to be his possession)
But eles deram os campos da cidade e suas aldeias a Calebe, filho de Jefonneh, por sua posse.
13 Thus they gaue to the children of Aaron the Priest, a citie of refuge for the slaier, euen Hebron with her suburbes, and Libnah with her suburbes,
aos filhos de Arão, o sacerdote, deram Hebron com suas terras de pasto, a cidade de refúgio para o homem assassino, Libnah com suas terras de pasto,
14 And Iattir with her suburbes, and Eshtemoa, and her suburbes,
Jattir com suas terras de pasto, Eshtemoa com suas terras de pasto,
15 And Holon with her suburbes, and Debir with her suburbes,
Holon com suas terras de pasto, Debir com suas terras de pasto,
16 And Ain with her suburbes, and Iuttah with her suburbes, Beth-shemesh with her suburbes: nine cities out of those two tribes.
Ain com suas terras de pasto, Juttah com suas terras de pasto, e Beth Shemesh com suas terras de pasto: nove cidades dessas duas tribos.
17 And out of the tribe of Beniamin they gaue Gibeon with her suburbes, Geba with her suburbes,
da tribo de Benjamin, Gibeon com suas terras de pasto, Geba com suas terras de pasto,
18 Anathoth with her suburbes, and Almon with her suburbes: foure cities.
Anathoth com suas terras de pasto, e Almon com suas terras de pasto: quatro cidades.
19 All the cities of the children of Aaron Priests, were thirteene cities with their suburbes.
Todas as cidades dos filhos de Aarão, os sacerdotes, eram treze cidades com suas terras de pasto.
20 But to the families of the children of Kohath of the Leuites, which were the rest of the children of Kohath (for the cities of their lot were out of the tribe of Ephraim)
As famílias das crianças de Kohath, os Levitas, mesmo o resto das crianças de Kohath, tiveram as cidades de seu lote fora da tribo de Efraim.
21 They gaue them the citie of refuge for the slaier, Shechem with her suburbes in mount Ephraim, and Gezer with her suburbes,
They deu-lhes Shechem com suas terras de pasto na região montanhosa de Efraim, a cidade de refúgio para o homem assassino, e Gezer com suas terras de pasto,
22 And Kibzaim with her suburbs, and Bethhoron with her suburbes: foure cities.
Kibzaim com suas terras de pasto, e Beth Horon com suas terras de pasto: quatro cidades.
23 And out of the tribe of Dan, Eltekeh with her suburbes, Gibethon with her suburbes,
Fora da tribo de Dan, Elteke com suas terras de pasto, Gibethon com suas terras de pasto,
24 Aiialon with her suburbes, Gath-rimmon with her suburbes: foure cities.
Aijalon com suas terras de pasto, Gath Rimmon com suas terras de pasto: quatro cidades.
25 And out of the halfe tribe of Manasseh, Tanach with her suburbes, and Gath-rimmon with her suburbes: two cities.
Da meia tribo de Manasseh, Taanach com suas terras de pasto, e Gath Rimmon com suas terras de pasto: duas cidades.
26 All the cities for the other families of the children of Kohath were ten with their suburbes.
Todas as cidades das famílias dos demais filhos de Kohath eram dez com suas terras de pasto.
27 Also vnto the children of Gershon of the families of the Leuites, they gaue out of the halfe tribe of Manasseh, the citie of refuge for the slaier, Golan in Bashan with her suburbes, and Beeshterah with her suburbes: two cities.
They deu às crianças de Gershon, das famílias dos Levitas, da meia tribo de Manasseh Golan em Bashan com suas terras de pasto, a cidade de refúgio para o homem assassino, e Be Eshterah com suas terras de pasto: duas cidades.
28 And out of the tribe of Issachar, Kishon with her suburbes, Dabereh with her suburbes,
Fora da tribo de Issachar, Kishion com suas terras de pasto, Daberath com suas terras de pasto,
29 Iarmuth with her suburbes, En-gannim with her suburbes: foure cities.
Jarmuth com suas terras de pasto, En Gannim com suas terras de pasto: quatro cidades.
30 And out of the tribe of Asher, Mishal with her suburbes, Abdon with her suburbes,
Da tribo de Asher, Mishal com suas terras de pasto, Abdon com suas terras de pasto,
31 Helkah with her suburbs, and Rehob with her suburbes: foure cities.
Helkath com suas terras de pasto, e Rehob com suas terras de pasto: quatro cidades.
32 And out of the tribe of Naphtali, the citie of refuge for the slaier, Kedesh in Galil with her suburbes, and Hammoth-dor with her suburbes, and Kartan with her suburbes: three cities.
Fora da tribo de Naftali, Kedesh na Galiléia com suas terras de pasto, a cidade de refúgio do assassino de homens, Hammothdor com suas terras de pasto, e Kartan com suas terras de pasto: três cidades.
33 Al the cities of the Gershonites according to their families, were thirteene cities with their suburbes.
Todas as cidades dos Gershonitas de acordo com suas famílias eram treze cidades com suas terras de pasto.
34 Also vnto the families of the children of Merari the rest of the Leuites, they gaue out of the tribe of Zebulun, Iokneam with her suburbs, and Kartah with her suburbes,
Para as famílias dos filhos de Merari, os demais levitas, da tribo de Zebulun, Jokneam com suas terras de pasto, Kartah com suas terras de pasto,
35 Dimnah with her suburbes, Nahalal, with her suburbes: foure cities.
Dimnah com suas terras de pasto, e Nahalal com suas terras de pasto: quatro cidades.
36 And out of the tribe of Reuben, Bezer with her suburbs, and Iahazah with her suburbs,
Da tribo de Reuben, Bezer com suas terras de pasto, Jahaz com suas terras de pasto,
37 Kedemoth with her suburbes, and Mephaath with her suburbes: foure cities.
Kedemoth com suas terras de pasto, e Mephaath com suas terras de pasto: quatro cidades.
38 And out of the tribe of Gad they gaue for a citie of refuge for the slaier, Ramoth in Gilead with her suburbes, and Mahanaim with her suburbes,
Fora da tribo de Gad, Ramoth em Gilead com suas terras de pasto, a cidade de refúgio para o homem assassino, e Mahanaim com suas terras de pasto,
39 Heshbon with her suburbs, and Iazer with her suburbes: foure cities in all.
Heshbon com suas terras de pasto, Jazer com suas terras de pasto: quatro cidades no total.
40 So all the cities of the children of Merari according to their families (which were the rest of the families of the Leuites) were by their lot, twelue cities.
Todas estas foram as cidades das crianças de Merari de acordo com suas famílias, até mesmo as demais famílias dos Levitas. Seu lote era de doze cidades.
41 And all the cities of the Leuites within the possession of the children of Israel, were eight and fourtie with their suburbes.
Todas as cidades dos Levitas entre os bens das crianças de Israel eram quarenta e oito cidades com suas terras de pasto.
42 These cities lay euery one seuerallie with their suburbes round about them: so were all these cities.
Cada uma dessas cidades incluía suas terras de pasto ao seu redor. Foi assim com todas essas cidades.
43 So the Lord gaue vnto Israel all ye land, which hee had sworne to giue vnto their fathers: and they possessed it, and dwelt therein.
Então Yahweh deu a Israel toda a terra que jurou dar a seus pais. Eles a possuíam, e viviam nela.
44 Also the Lord gaue them rest rounde about according to all that hee had sworne vnto their fathers: and there stoode not a man of all their enemies before them: for the Lord deliuered all their enemies into their hand.
Javé lhes deu descanso a todos, de acordo com tudo o que jurou a seus pais. Nem um homem de todos os seus inimigos estava diante deles. Javé entregou todos os seus inimigos em suas mãos.
45 There failed nothing of all the good things, which the Lord hath sayde vnto the house of Israel, but all came to passe.
Nada falhou de nada bom que Iavé tivesse falado à casa de Israel. Tudo aconteceu.
