Joshua 21
1 Then came the principall fathers of the Leuites vnto Eleazar the Priest, and vnto Ioshua the sonne of Nun, and vnto the chiefe fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel,
Então os Cabeças dos paes dos levitas se achegaram a Eleazar o sacerdote, e a Josué, filho de Nun, e aos Cabeças dos paes das tribus dos filhos d'Israel;
2 And spake vnto them at Shiloh in the land of Canaan, saying, The Lord commanded by the hande of Moses, to giue vs cities to dwell in, with the suburbes thereof for our cattell.
E fallaram-lhes em Silo na terra de Canaan, dizendo: O Senhor ordenou, pelo ministerio de Moysés, que se nos déssem cidades para habitar, e os seus arrabaldes para os nossos animaes.
3 So the children of Israel gaue vnto the Leuites, out of their inheritance at the commandement of the Lord these cities with their suburbes.
Pelo que os filhos d'Israel deram aos levitas da sua herança, conforme ao dito do Senhor, estas cidades e os seus arrabaldes.
4 And the lot came out for the families of the Kohathites: and the children of Aaron ye Priest, which were of the Leuites, had by lot, out of the tribe of Iudah, and out of the tribe of Simeon, and out of the tribe of Beniamin thirteene cities.
E saiu a sorte pelas familias dos kohathitas: e aos filhos de Aarão, o sacerdote, d'entre os levitas, cairam por sorte da tribu de Judah, e da tribu de Simeão, e da tribu de Benjamin, treze cidades;
5 And the rest of the children of Kohath had by lot out of the families of the tribe of Ephraim, and out of the tribe of Dan, and out of the halfe tribe of Manasseh, tenne cities.
E aos outros filhos de Kohath cairam por sorte das familias da tribu d'Ephraim, e da tribu de Dan, e da meia tribu de Manasseh, dez cidades;
6 Also the children of Gershon had by lot out of the families of the tribe of Issachar, and out of the tribe of Asher, and out of ye tribe of Naphtali, and out of the halfe tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, thirteene cities.
E aos filhos de Gerson cairam por sorte das familias da tribu d'Issacar, e da tribu d'Aser, e da tribu de Naphtali, e da meia tribu de Manasseh em Basan, treze cidades;
7 The children of Merari according to their families had out of the tribe of Reuben, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun, twelue cities.
Aos filhos de Merari, segundo as suas familias, da tribu de Ruben, e da tribu de Gad, e da tribu de Zebulon, doze cidades.
8 So the children of Israel gaue by lot vnto the Leuites these cities with their suburbes, as the Lord had commanded by the hand of Moses.
E deram os filhos de Israel aos levitas estas cidades e os seus arrabaldes por sorte, como o Senhor ordenara pelo ministerio de Moysés.
9 And they gaue out of the tribe of the children of Iudah, and out of the tribe of the children of Simeo, these cities which are here named.
Deram mais da tribu dos filhos de Judah e da tribu dos filhos de Simeão estas cidades, que por nome foram nomeadas:
10 And they were the childrens of Aaron being of the families of the Kohathites, and of the sonnes of Leui, (for theirs was the first lot)
Para que fossem dos filhos d'Aarão, das familias dos kohathitas, dos filhos de Levi: porquanto a primeira sorte foi sua.
11 So they gaue them Kiriath-arba of the father of Anok (which is Hebron) in the mountaine of Iudah, with the suburbes of the same round about it.
Assim lhes deram a cidade d'Arba, do pae d'Anok (esta é Hebron), no monte de Judah, e os seus arrabaldes em redor d'ella.
12 (But the lande of the citie, and the villages thereof, gaue they to Caleb the sonne of Iephunneh to be his possession)
Porém o campo da cidade, e as suas aldeias, deram a Caleb, filho de Jefoné, por sua possessão.
13 Thus they gaue to the children of Aaron the Priest, a citie of refuge for the slaier, euen Hebron with her suburbes, and Libnah with her suburbes,
Assim aos filhos d'Aarão, o sacerdote, deram a cidade do refugio do homicida, Hebron, e os seus arrabaldes, e Libna, e os seus arrabaldes;
14 And Iattir with her suburbes, and Eshtemoa, and her suburbes,
E Jatthir, e os seus arrabaldes, e Estmoa, e os seus arrabaldes;
15 And Holon with her suburbes, and Debir with her suburbes,
E Cholon, e os seus arrabaldes, e Debir, e os seus arrabaldes,
16 And Ain with her suburbes, and Iuttah with her suburbes, Beth-shemesh with her suburbes: nine cities out of those two tribes.
E Ain, e os seus arrabaldes, e Jutta, e os seus arrabaldes, e Bethsemes, e os seus arrabaldes: nove cidades d'estas duas tribus.
17 And out of the tribe of Beniamin they gaue Gibeon with her suburbes, Geba with her suburbes,
E da tribu de Benjamin, Gibeon, e os seus arrabaldes, Geba, e os seus arrabaldes;
18 Anathoth with her suburbes, and Almon with her suburbes: foure cities.
Anathoth, e os seus arrabaldes, e Almon, e os seus arrabaldes; quatro cidades.
19 All the cities of the children of Aaron Priests, were thirteene cities with their suburbes.
Todas as cidades dos sacerdotes, filhos d'Aarão, foram treze cidades e os seus arrabaldes.
20 But to the families of the children of Kohath of the Leuites, which were the rest of the children of Kohath (for the cities of their lot were out of the tribe of Ephraim)
E as familias dos filhos de Kohath, levitas, que ficaram dos filhos de Kohath, tiveram as cidades da sua sorte da tribu d'Ephraim.
21 They gaue them the citie of refuge for the slaier, Shechem with her suburbes in mount Ephraim, and Gezer with her suburbes,
E deram-lhes Sichem, cidade do refugio do homicida, e os seus arrabaldes, no monte de Ephraim, e Gezer, e os seus arrabaldes;
22 And Kibzaim with her suburbs, and Bethhoron with her suburbes: foure cities.
E Kibsaim, e os seus arrabaldes, e Beth-horon, e os seus arrabaldes: quatro cidades.
23 And out of the tribe of Dan, Eltekeh with her suburbes, Gibethon with her suburbes,
E da tribu de Dan, Elteke, e os seus arrabaldes, Gibbethon, e os seus arrabaldes;
24 Aiialon with her suburbes, Gath-rimmon with her suburbes: foure cities.
Ajalon, e os seus arrabaldes, Gath-rimmon, e os seus arrabaldes: quatro cidades.
25 And out of the halfe tribe of Manasseh, Tanach with her suburbes, and Gath-rimmon with her suburbes: two cities.
E da meia tribu de Manasseh, Taanach, e os seus arrabaldes, e Gath-rimmon, e os seus arrabaldes: duas cidades.
26 All the cities for the other families of the children of Kohath were ten with their suburbes.
Todas as cidades para as familias dos filhos de Kohath que ficavam, foram dez, e os seus arrabaldes.
27 Also vnto the children of Gershon of the families of the Leuites, they gaue out of the halfe tribe of Manasseh, the citie of refuge for the slaier, Golan in Bashan with her suburbes, and Beeshterah with her suburbes: two cities.
E aos filhos de Gerson, das familias dos levitas, Golan da meia tribu de Manasseh, cidade do refugio do homicida, em Basan, e os seus arrabaldes, e Be-estra, e os seus arrabaldes: duas cidades.
28 And out of the tribe of Issachar, Kishon with her suburbes, Dabereh with her suburbes,
E da tribu de Issacar, Kisjon, e os seus arrabaldes: Daberath, e os seus arrabaldes;
29 Iarmuth with her suburbes, En-gannim with her suburbes: foure cities.
Jarmuth, e os seus arrabaldes, En-gannim, e os seus arrabaldes: quatro cidades.
30 And out of the tribe of Asher, Mishal with her suburbes, Abdon with her suburbes,
E da tribu d'Aser, Misal, e os seus arrabaldes, Abdon, e os seus arrabaldes;
31 Helkah with her suburbs, and Rehob with her suburbes: foure cities.
Helkath, e os seus arrabaldes, e Rohob, e os seus arrabaldes: quatro cidades.
32 And out of the tribe of Naphtali, the citie of refuge for the slaier, Kedesh in Galil with her suburbes, and Hammoth-dor with her suburbes, and Kartan with her suburbes: three cities.
E da tribu de Naphtali, Kedes, cidade do refugio do homicida, em Galilea, e os seus arrabaldes, e Hamoth-dor, e os seus arrabaldes; e Cartan, e os seus arrabaldes: tres cidades.
33 Al the cities of the Gershonites according to their families, were thirteene cities with their suburbes.
Todas as cidades dos gersonitas, segundo as suas familias, foram treze cidades e os seus arrabaldes.
34 Also vnto the families of the children of Merari the rest of the Leuites, they gaue out of the tribe of Zebulun, Iokneam with her suburbs, and Kartah with her suburbes,
E ás familias dos filhos de Merari, dos levitas que ficavam, foram dadas da tribu de Zebulon, Jokneam e os seus arrabaldes, Carta e os seus arrabaldes,
35 Dimnah with her suburbes, Nahalal, with her suburbes: foure cities.
Dimna e os seus arrabaldes, Nahalal e os seus arrabaldes: quatro cidades.
36 And out of the tribe of Reuben, Bezer with her suburbs, and Iahazah with her suburbs,
E da tribu de Ruben, Beser, e os seus arrabaldes, e Jahaz, e os seus arrabaldes;
37 Kedemoth with her suburbes, and Mephaath with her suburbes: foure cities.
Kedemoth, e os seus arrabaldes, e Mephaath, e os seus arrabaldes: quatro cidades.
38 And out of the tribe of Gad they gaue for a citie of refuge for the slaier, Ramoth in Gilead with her suburbes, and Mahanaim with her suburbes,
E da tribu de Gad, Ramoth, cidade do refugio do homicida, em Gilead, e os seus arrabaldes, e Mahanaim, e os seus arrabaldes;
39 Heshbon with her suburbs, and Iazer with her suburbes: foure cities in all.
Hesbon, e os seus arrabaldes, Jaezer e os seus arrabaldes: por todas, quatro cidades.
40 So all the cities of the children of Merari according to their families (which were the rest of the families of the Leuites) were by their lot, twelue cities.
Todas estas cidades foram dos filhos de Merari, segundo as suas familias, que ainda restavam das familias dos levitas; e foi a sua sorte doze cidades.
41 And all the cities of the Leuites within the possession of the children of Israel, were eight and fourtie with their suburbes.
Todas as cidades dos levitas, no meio da herança dos filhos d'Israel, foram quarenta e oito cidades e os seus arrabaldes.
42 These cities lay euery one seuerallie with their suburbes round about them: so were all these cities.
Estavam estas cidades cada qual com os seus arrabaldes em redor d'ellas: assim estavam todas estas cidades.
43 So the Lord gaue vnto Israel all ye land, which hee had sworne to giue vnto their fathers: and they possessed it, and dwelt therein.
D'esta sorte deu o Senhor a Israel toda a terra que jurara dar a seus paes: e a possuiram e habitaram n'ella.
44 Also the Lord gaue them rest rounde about according to all that hee had sworne vnto their fathers: and there stoode not a man of all their enemies before them: for the Lord deliuered all their enemies into their hand.
E o Senhor lhes deu repouso em redor, conforme a tudo quanto jurara a seus paes; e nenhum de todos os seus inimigos ficou em pé diante d'elles; todos os seus inimigos o Senhor deu na sua mão.
45 There failed nothing of all the good things, which the Lord hath sayde vnto the house of Israel, but all came to passe.
Palavra alguma falhou de todas as boas palavras que o Senhor fallara á casa d'Israel: tudo se cumpriu.
