Joshua 21
1 Then came the principall fathers of the Leuites vnto Eleazar the Priest, and vnto Ioshua the sonne of Nun, and vnto the chiefe fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel,
੧ਤਦ ਲੇਵੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਅਲਆਜ਼ਾਰ ਜਾਜਕ ਅਤੇ ਨੂਨ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਯਹੋਸ਼ੁਆ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਗੋਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਰਦਾਰਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਆਏ।
2 And spake vnto them at Shiloh in the land of Canaan, saying, The Lord commanded by the hande of Moses, to giue vs cities to dwell in, with the suburbes thereof for our cattell.
੨ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸ਼ੀਲੋਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਨਾਨ ਦੇ ਦੇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੂਸਾ ਦੇ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਵੱਸਣ ਲਈ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਸ਼ਾਮਲਾਟ ਸਾਡੇ ਡੰਗਰਾਂ ਲਈ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਜਾਣ।
3 So the children of Israel gaue vnto the Leuites, out of their inheritance at the commandement of the Lord these cities with their suburbes.
੩ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਲੇਵੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਿਲਖ਼ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਇਹ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਸ਼ਾਮਲਾਟਾਂ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ।
4 And the lot came out for the families of the Kohathites: and the children of Aaron ye Priest, which were of the Leuites, had by lot, out of the tribe of Iudah, and out of the tribe of Simeon, and out of the tribe of Beniamin thirteene cities.
੪ਕਹਾਥੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਭਾਗ ਨਿੱਕਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਹਾਰੂਨ ਜਾਜਕ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਲਈ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਲੇਵੀ ਸਨ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਗੋਤ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਿਮਓਨੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਗੋਤ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਅਤੇ ਬਿਨਯਾਮੀਨ ਦੇ ਗੋਤ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਗੁਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਤੇਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਮਿਲੇ।
5 And the rest of the children of Kohath had by lot out of the families of the tribe of Ephraim, and out of the tribe of Dan, and out of the halfe tribe of Manasseh, tenne cities.
੫ਬਾਕੀ ਕਹਾਥੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਇਫ਼ਰਾਈਮ ਦੇ ਗੋਤ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਅਤੇ ਦਾਨ ਦੇ ਗੋਤ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਅਤੇ ਮਨੱਸ਼ਹ ਦੇ ਅੱਧੇ ਗੋਤ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਗੁਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਦਸ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਮਿਲੇ।
6 Also the children of Gershon had by lot out of the families of the tribe of Issachar, and out of the tribe of Asher, and out of ye tribe of Naphtali, and out of the halfe tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, thirteene cities.
੬ਗੇਰਸ਼ੋਨੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਯਿੱਸਾਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਗੋਤ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਅਤੇ ਆਸ਼ੇਰ ਦੇ ਗੋਤ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਅਤੇ ਨਫ਼ਤਾਲੀ ਦੇ ਗੋਤ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਅਤੇ ਮਨੱਸ਼ਹ ਦੇ ਅੱਧੇ ਗੋਤ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਬਾਸ਼ਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੁਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਤੇਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਮਿਲੇ।
7 The children of Merari according to their families had out of the tribe of Reuben, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun, twelue cities.
੭ਮਰਾਰੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣਿਆਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਰਊਬੇਨ ਦੇ ਗੋਤ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਅਤੇ ਗਾਦ ਦੇ ਗੋਤ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਅਤੇ ਜ਼ਬੂਲੁਨ ਦੇ ਗੋਤ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਬਾਰਾਂ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਮਿਲੇ।
8 So the children of Israel gaue by lot vnto the Leuites these cities with their suburbes, as the Lord had commanded by the hand of Moses.
੮ਸੋ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਲੇਵੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਸ਼ਾਮਲਾਟ ਗੁਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੂਸਾ ਦੇ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ।
9 And they gaue out of the tribe of the children of Iudah, and out of the tribe of the children of Simeo, these cities which are here named.
੯ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਯਹੂਦੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਗੋਤ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਿਮਓਨੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਗੋਤ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇਹ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੱਸੇ ਗਏ।
10 And they were the childrens of Aaron being of the families of the Kohathites, and of the sonnes of Leui, (for theirs was the first lot)
੧੦ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਹਾਰੂਨ ਦੀ ਅੰਸ ਲਈ ਸਨ ਜੋ ਕਹਾਥੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਅਤੇ ਲੇਵੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਸਨ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਭਾਗ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ।
11 So they gaue them Kiriath-arba of the father of Anok (which is Hebron) in the mountaine of Iudah, with the suburbes of the same round about it.
੧੧ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਰਯਥ-ਅਰਬਾ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਅਨਾਕ ਦਾ ਪਿਤਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਪਰਬਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਬਰੋਨ ਵੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲਾਟ ਦਿੱਤੀ।
12 (But the lande of the citie, and the villages thereof, gaue they to Caleb the sonne of Iephunneh to be his possession)
੧੨ਪਰ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਪੈਲੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਯਫ਼ੁੰਨਹ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਕਾਲੇਬ ਨੂੰ ਜਗੀਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਿੱਤੇ।
13 Thus they gaue to the children of Aaron the Priest, a citie of refuge for the slaier, euen Hebron with her suburbes, and Libnah with her suburbes,
੧੩ਅਤੇ ਹਾਰੂਨ ਜਾਜਕ ਦੀ ਅੰਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਹਬਰੋਨ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਖ਼ੂਨੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਪਨਾਹ ਨਗਰ ਸੀ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲਾਟ ਸਣੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਨਾਲੇ ਲਿਬਨਾਹ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲਾਟ ਸਣੇ।
14 And Iattir with her suburbes, and Eshtemoa, and her suburbes,
੧੪ਅਤੇ ਯੱਤੀਰ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲਾਟ ਸਣੇ ਅਤੇ ਅਸ਼ਤਮੋਆ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲਾਟ ਸਣੇ।
15 And Holon with her suburbes, and Debir with her suburbes,
੧੫ਅਤੇ ਹੋਲੋਨ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲਾਟ ਸਣੇ ਅਤੇ ਦਬੀਰ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲਾਟ ਸਣੇ।
16 And Ain with her suburbes, and Iuttah with her suburbes, Beth-shemesh with her suburbes: nine cities out of those two tribes.
੧੬ਅਤੇ ਆਇਨ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲਾਟ ਸਣੇ ਅਤੇ ਯੁੱਤਾਹ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲਾਟ ਸਣੇ ਅਤੇ ਬੈਤ ਸ਼ਮਸ਼ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲਾਟ ਸਣੇ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਨੌ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਗੋਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ
17 And out of the tribe of Beniamin they gaue Gibeon with her suburbes, Geba with her suburbes,
੧੭ਅਤੇ ਬਿਨਯਾਮੀਨ ਦੇ ਗੋਤ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਗਿਬਓਨ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲਾਟ ਸਣੇ ਅਤੇ ਗਬਾ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲਾਟ ਸਣੇ।
18 Anathoth with her suburbes, and Almon with her suburbes: foure cities.
੧੮ਅਨਾਥੋਥ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲਾਟ ਸਣੇ ਅਤੇ ਅਲਮੋਨ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲਾਟ ਸਣੇ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਚਾਰ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ।
19 All the cities of the children of Aaron Priests, were thirteene cities with their suburbes.
੧੯ਸੋ ਹਾਰੂਨ ਦੀ ਅੰਸ ਦੇ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਜਾਜਕ ਸਨ ਸਾਰੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਤੇਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਸ਼ਾਮਲਾਟ ਨਾਲ ਸਨ।
20 But to the families of the children of Kohath of the Leuites, which were the rest of the children of Kohath (for the cities of their lot were out of the tribe of Ephraim)
੨੦ਕਹਾਥੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਲੇਵੀ ਸਨ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਬਾਕੀ ਕਹਾਥੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਗੁਣੇ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਇਫ਼ਰਾਈਮ ਦੇ ਗੋਤ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸਨ।
21 They gaue them the citie of refuge for the slaier, Shechem with her suburbes in mount Ephraim, and Gezer with her suburbes,
੨੧ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਕਮ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਖ਼ੂਨੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਪਨਾਹ ਨਗਰ ਸੀ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲਾਟ ਸਣੇ ਇਫ਼ਰਾਈਮ ਦੇ ਪਰਬਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਗਜ਼ਰ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲਾਟ ਸਣੇ।
22 And Kibzaim with her suburbs, and Bethhoron with her suburbes: foure cities.
੨੨ਅਤੇ ਕਿਬਸੈਮ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲਾਟ ਸਣੇ ਅਤੇ ਬੈਤ-ਹੋਰੋਨ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲਾਟ ਸਣੇ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਚਾਰ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ।
23 And out of the tribe of Dan, Eltekeh with her suburbes, Gibethon with her suburbes,
੨੩ਅਤੇ ਦਾਨ ਦੇ ਗੋਤ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਅਲਤਕੇਹ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲਾਟ ਸਣੇ, ਗਿਬਥੋਨ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲਾਟ ਸਣੇ,
24 Aiialon with her suburbes, Gath-rimmon with her suburbes: foure cities.
੨੪ਅੱਯਾਲੋਨ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲਾਟ ਸਣੇ ਅਤੇ ਗਥ-ਰਿੰਮੋਨ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲਾਟ ਸਣੇ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਚਾਰ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ।
25 And out of the halfe tribe of Manasseh, Tanach with her suburbes, and Gath-rimmon with her suburbes: two cities.
੨੫ਅਤੇ ਮਨੱਸ਼ਹ ਦੇ ਅੱਧੇ ਗੋਤ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਤਆਨਾਕ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲਾਟ ਸਣੇ ਅਤੇ ਗਥ-ਰਿੰਮੋਨ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲਾਟ ਸਣੇ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਦੋ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ।
26 All the cities for the other families of the children of Kohath were ten with their suburbes.
੨੬ਬਾਕੀ ਕਹਾਥੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਸਾਰੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦਸ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਸ਼ਾਮਲਾਟ ਨਾਲ ਸਨ।
27 Also vnto the children of Gershon of the families of the Leuites, they gaue out of the halfe tribe of Manasseh, the citie of refuge for the slaier, Golan in Bashan with her suburbes, and Beeshterah with her suburbes: two cities.
੨੭ਗੇਰਸ਼ੋਨੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਲੇਵੀ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸਨ ਮਨੱਸ਼ਹ ਦੇ ਅੱਧੇ ਗੋਤ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਰਊਬੇਨੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਬਸਰ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਜੋ ਉਜਾੜ ਵਿੱਚ ਉੱਚੇ ਮੈਦਾਨ ਦੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਗਾਦੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਗਿਲਆਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਾਮੋਥ ਅਤੇ ਮਨੱਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਬਾਸ਼ਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੋਲਾਨ ਬਾਸ਼ਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਖ਼ੂਨੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਪਨਾਹ ਨਗਰ ਸੀ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲਾਟ ਸਣੇ ਅਤੇ ਬਅਸ਼ਤਰਾਹ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲਾਟ ਸਣੇ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਦੋ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ।
28 And out of the tribe of Issachar, Kishon with her suburbes, Dabereh with her suburbes,
੨੮ਯਿੱਸਾਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਗੋਤ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕਿਸ਼ਯੋਨ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲਾਟ ਸਣੇ, ਦਾਬਰਥ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲਾਟ ਸਣੇ,
29 Iarmuth with her suburbes, En-gannim with her suburbes: foure cities.
੨੯ਯਰਮੂਥ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲਾਟ ਸਣੇ ਅਤੇ ਏਨ-ਗਨੀਮ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲਾਟ ਸਣੇ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਚਾਰ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ।
30 And out of the tribe of Asher, Mishal with her suburbes, Abdon with her suburbes,
੩੦ਅਤੇ ਆਸ਼ੇਰ ਦੇ ਗੋਤ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਮਿਸ਼ਾਲ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲਾਟ ਸਣੇ, ਅਬਦੋਨ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲਾਟ ਸਣੇ,
31 Helkah with her suburbs, and Rehob with her suburbes: foure cities.
੩੧ਹਲਕਾਥ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲਾਟ ਸਣੇ ਅਤੇ ਰਹੋਬ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲਾਟ ਸਣੇ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਚਾਰ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ।
32 And out of the tribe of Naphtali, the citie of refuge for the slaier, Kedesh in Galil with her suburbes, and Hammoth-dor with her suburbes, and Kartan with her suburbes: three cities.
੩੨ਅਤੇ ਨਫ਼ਤਾਲੀ ਦੇ ਗੋਤ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕਾਦੇਸ਼ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਖ਼ੂਨੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਪਨਾਹ ਨਗਰ ਸੀ ਗਲੀਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲਾਟ ਸਣੇ ਅਤੇ ਹੱਮੋਥ ਦੋਰ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲਾਟ ਸਣੇ ਅਤੇ ਕਰਤਾਨ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲਾਟ ਸਣੇ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਤਿੰਨ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ।
33 Al the cities of the Gershonites according to their families, were thirteene cities with their suburbes.
੩੩ਗੇਰਸ਼ੋਨੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣਿਆਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਤੇਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਸ਼ਾਮਲਾਟ ਨਾਲ ਸਨ।
34 Also vnto the families of the children of Merari the rest of the Leuites, they gaue out of the tribe of Zebulun, Iokneam with her suburbs, and Kartah with her suburbes,
੩੪ਮਰਾਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਬਾਕੀ ਦੇ ਲੇਵੀ ਸਨ ਜ਼ਬੂਲੁਨ ਦੇ ਗੋਤ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਯਾਕਨੁਆਮ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲਾਟ ਸਣੇ, ਕਰਤਾਹ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲਾਟ ਸਣੇ,
35 Dimnah with her suburbes, Nahalal, with her suburbes: foure cities.
੩੫ਦਿਮਨਾਹ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲਾਟ ਸਣੇ ਅਤੇ ਨਹਲਾਲ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲਾਟ ਸਣੇ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਚਾਰ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ
36 And out of the tribe of Reuben, Bezer with her suburbs, and Iahazah with her suburbs,
੩੬ਅਤੇ ਰਊਬੇਨ ਦੇ ਗੋਤ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਬਸਰ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲਾਟ ਸਣੇ ਅਤੇ ਯਹਾਸ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲਾਟ ਸਣੇ
37 Kedemoth with her suburbes, and Mephaath with her suburbes: foure cities.
੩੭ਕਦੇਮੋਥ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲਾਟ ਸਣੇ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਫ਼ਾਅਥ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲਾਟ ਸਣੇ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਚਾਰ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ
38 And out of the tribe of Gad they gaue for a citie of refuge for the slaier, Ramoth in Gilead with her suburbes, and Mahanaim with her suburbes,
੩੮ਅਤੇ ਗਾਦ ਦੀ ਗੋਤ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਰਾਮੋਥ ਗਿਲਆਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਖੂਨੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਪਨਾਹ ਨਗਰ ਸੀ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲਾਟ ਸਣੇ, ਅਤੇ ਮਹਨਇਮ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲਾਟ ਸਣੇ,
39 Heshbon with her suburbs, and Iazer with her suburbes: foure cities in all.
੩੯ਹਸ਼ਬੋਨ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲਾਟ ਸਣੇ ਅਤੇ ਯਾਜ਼ੇਰ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲਾਟ ਸਣੇ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਚਾਰ ਸਨ
40 So all the cities of the children of Merari according to their families (which were the rest of the families of the Leuites) were by their lot, twelue cities.
੪੦ਇਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਮਰਾਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣਿਆਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਸਨ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਲੇਵੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਬਾਕੀ ਘਰਾਣਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਗੁਣੇ ਦੇ ਬਾਰਾਂ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਸਨ।
41 And all the cities of the Leuites within the possession of the children of Israel, were eight and fourtie with their suburbes.
੪੧ਲੇਵੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਮਿਲਖ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਨ ਅਠੱਤਾਲੀ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਸ਼ਾਮਲਾਟ ਨਾਲ ਸਨ।
42 These cities lay euery one seuerallie with their suburbes round about them: so were all these cities.
੪੨ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਹਰ ਇੱਕ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲਾਟ ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਸੀ ਇਉਂ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਵੀ ਸੀ।
43 So the Lord gaue vnto Israel all ye land, which hee had sworne to giue vnto their fathers: and they possessed it, and dwelt therein.
੪੩ਸੋ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਸਾਰਾ ਦੇਸ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਿਹ ਦੇ ਦੇਣ ਦੀ ਸਹੁੰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਖਾਧੀ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਕਬਜ਼ਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਾਸ ਕੀਤਾ।
44 Also the Lord gaue them rest rounde about according to all that hee had sworne vnto their fathers: and there stoode not a man of all their enemies before them: for the Lord deliuered all their enemies into their hand.
੪੪ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਭ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਸੁੱਖ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਹੁੰ ਖਾਧੀ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਨਾ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਰਿਹਾ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
45 There failed nothing of all the good things, which the Lord hath sayde vnto the house of Israel, but all came to passe.
੪੫ਉਹਨਾਂ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਚੰਗਿਆਂ ਬਚਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਬਚਨ ਵੀ ਰਹਿ ਨਾ ਗਿਆ, ਸਾਰੇ ਪੂਰੇ ਹੋਏ।
