Joshua 21
1 Then came the principall fathers of the Leuites vnto Eleazar the Priest, and vnto Ioshua the sonne of Nun, and vnto the chiefe fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel,

2 And spake vnto them at Shiloh in the land of Canaan, saying, The Lord commanded by the hande of Moses, to giue vs cities to dwell in, with the suburbes thereof for our cattell.
e Siiro mu Kanani ne babagamba nti, “Mukama Katonda yalagira okuyita mu Musa nti tuweebwe ebibuga eby’okubeeramu era n’amalundiro g’ebisibo byaffe.”
3 So the children of Israel gaue vnto the Leuites, out of their inheritance at the commandement of the Lord these cities with their suburbes.
Kale, nga Mukama bwe yalagira, Abayisirayiri ne bawa Abaleevi ebibuga bino n’amalundiro nga gwe mugabo gwabwe.
4 And the lot came out for the families of the Kohathites: and the children of Aaron ye Priest, which were of the Leuites, had by lot, out of the tribe of Iudah, and out of the tribe of Simeon, and out of the tribe of Beniamin thirteene cities.
Akalulu ne kagwa ku nda ez’Abakokasi. Bwe batyo Abaleevi abaali bava mu Alooni kabona ne bafuna ebibuga kkumi na bisatu okuva mu bika bya Yuda, ne Simyoni ne Benyamini.
5 And the rest of the children of Kohath had by lot out of the families of the tribe of Ephraim, and out of the tribe of Dan, and out of the halfe tribe of Manasseh, tenne cities.
Abakokasi abaali basigaddewo ne bafuna ebibuga kkumi okuva mu nnyumba, z’ebika bya Efulayimu, ne Ddaani n’ekitundu ky’ekika kya Manase.
6 Also the children of Gershon had by lot out of the families of the tribe of Issachar, and out of the tribe of Asher, and out of ye tribe of Naphtali, and out of the halfe tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, thirteene cities.
N’abaana ba Gerusoni ne baweebwa ebibuga kkumi na bisatu okuva mu nnyumba zino: eya Isakaali, n’eya Aseri, n’eya Nafutaali, n’ekitundu ky’ekika kya Manase mu Basani.
7 The children of Merari according to their families had out of the tribe of Reuben, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun, twelue cities.
Abaana ba Merali ne baweebwa ng’ennyumba zaabwe bwe zaali, ebibuga kkumi na bibiri nga biva mu bika bino: Lewubeeni, ne Gaadi, ne Zebbulooni.
8 So the children of Israel gaue by lot vnto the Leuites these cities with their suburbes, as the Lord had commanded by the hand of Moses.
Abaana ba Isirayiri ne bawa Abaleevi ebibuga bino, n’amalundiro gaabwe nga Mukama bwe yali alagidde okuyita mu Musa.
9 And they gaue out of the tribe of the children of Iudah, and out of the tribe of the children of Simeo, these cities which are here named.
Mu bika bya Yuda ne Simyoni mwavaamu ebibuga bino:
10 And they were the childrens of Aaron being of the families of the Kohathites, and of the sonnes of Leui, (for theirs was the first lot)

11 So they gaue them Kiriath-arba of the father of Anok (which is Hebron) in the mountaine of Iudah, with the suburbes of the same round about it.

12 (But the lande of the citie, and the villages thereof, gaue they to Caleb the sonne of Iephunneh to be his possession)
Naye ennimiro zaakyo n’ebibuga byakyo ne babiwa Kalebu omwana wa Yefune abitwale ng’omugabo gwe.
13 Thus they gaue to the children of Aaron the Priest, a citie of refuge for the slaier, euen Hebron with her suburbes, and Libnah with her suburbes,
Abantu abaava mu Alooni eyali kabona ne baweebwa Kebbulooni, ebibuga ebyokwekwekamu abo ababa basse bantu bannaabwe, n’amalundiro gaabyo ne Libuna n’amalundiro gaakyo,
14 And Iattir with her suburbes, and Eshtemoa, and her suburbes,
ne Yattiri n’amalundiro gaakyo ne Esutemoa n’amalundiro gaakyo,
15 And Holon with her suburbes, and Debir with her suburbes,
ne Kaloni n’amalundiro gaakyo ne Debiri n’amalundiro gaakyo,
16 And Ain with her suburbes, and Iuttah with her suburbes, Beth-shemesh with her suburbes: nine cities out of those two tribes.
ne Ayini n’amalundiro gaakyo ne Yuta n’amalundiro gaakyo ebibuga mwenda mu bika ebibiri.
17 And out of the tribe of Beniamin they gaue Gibeon with her suburbes, Geba with her suburbes,
Ne mu kika kya Benyamini ne baweebwa Gibyoni, ne Geba
18 Anathoth with her suburbes, and Almon with her suburbes: foure cities.
ne Anasosi n’amalundiro gaakyo, ne Alumoni n’amalundiro gaakyo ne Alumoni n’amalundiro gaakyo bye bibuga bina.
19 All the cities of the children of Aaron Priests, were thirteene cities with their suburbes.
Ebibuga byonna eby’abaana ba Alooni bakabona byali ebibuga kkumi na bisatu n’amalundiro gaabyo.
20 But to the families of the children of Kohath of the Leuites, which were the rest of the children of Kohath (for the cities of their lot were out of the tribe of Ephraim)
Eri Abakokasi abalala abaali bava mu nnyumba z’Abakokasi ez’Abaleevi ebibuga ebyabaweebwa byava mu kika kya Efulayimu.
21 They gaue them the citie of refuge for the slaier, Shechem with her suburbes in mount Ephraim, and Gezer with her suburbes,
N’aweebwa Sekemu n’amalundiro gaakyo mu nsi ey’ensozi eya Efulayimu ekibuga eky’okwekwekamu oyo asse, ne Gezeri n’amalundiro gaakyo,
22 And Kibzaim with her suburbs, and Bethhoron with her suburbes: foure cities.
ne Kizuzaimu n’amalundiro gaakyo ne Besukolooni n’amalundiro gaakyo,
23 And out of the tribe of Dan, Eltekeh with her suburbes, Gibethon with her suburbes,
ne mu kika kya Ddaani, Eruteke n’amalundiro gaakyo, Gibbesoni n’amalundiro gaakyo,
24 Aiialon with her suburbes, Gath-rimmon with her suburbes: foure cities.
Ayalooni n’amalundiro gaakyo, ne Gasulimmoni n’amalundiro gaakyo, bye bibuga bina.
25 And out of the halfe tribe of Manasseh, Tanach with her suburbes, and Gath-rimmon with her suburbes: two cities.
Ne mu kitundu eky’ekika kya Manase, Taanaki, n’amalundiro gaakyo, ne Gasulimmoni n’amalundiro gaakyo, bye bibuga bibiri.
26 All the cities for the other families of the children of Kohath were ten with their suburbes.
Ebibuga byonna eby’ennyumba z’abaana ba Kokasi abalala byali kkumi n’amalundiro gaabyo.
27 Also vnto the children of Gershon of the families of the Leuites, they gaue out of the halfe tribe of Manasseh, the citie of refuge for the slaier, Golan in Bashan with her suburbes, and Beeshterah with her suburbes: two cities.
N’eri abaana ba Gerusoni ekimu ku kika ky’Abaleevi, ekitundu eky’ekika kya Manase, Golani mu Basani n’amalundiro gaakyo, ekibuga eky’okwekwekangamu oyo asse nga tagenderedde, ne Beesutera n’amalundiro gaakyo, ebibuga bibiri.
28 And out of the tribe of Issachar, Kishon with her suburbes, Dabereh with her suburbes,
Ne mu kika kya Isakaali, Kisioni n’amalundiro gaakyo, Daberasi n’amalundiro gaakyo,
29 Iarmuth with her suburbes, En-gannim with her suburbes: foure cities.
Yalamusi n’amalundiro gaakyo, ne Engannimu n’amalundiro gaakyo, bye bibuga bina,
30 And out of the tribe of Asher, Mishal with her suburbes, Abdon with her suburbes,
ne mu kika kya Aseri, Misali n’amalundiro gaakyo, Abudoni n’amalundiro gaakyo,
31 Helkah with her suburbs, and Rehob with her suburbes: foure cities.
Kerukasi n’amalundiro gaakyo, ne Lekobu n’amalundiro gaakyo, bye bibuga bina.
32 And out of the tribe of Naphtali, the citie of refuge for the slaier, Kedesh in Galil with her suburbes, and Hammoth-dor with her suburbes, and Kartan with her suburbes: three cities.
Ne mu kika kya Nafutaali, Kadesi mu Ggaliraaya n’amalundiro gaakyo, ebibuga ebyokwekwekamu, ne Kammasudoli n’amalundiro gaakyo, ne Kalutani n’amalundiro gaakyo, bye bibuga bisatu.
33 Al the cities of the Gershonites according to their families, were thirteene cities with their suburbes.
Ebibuga byonna eby’Abagerusoni ng’ennyumba zaabwe bwe zaali, byali ebibuga kkumi na bisatu n’amalundiro gaabyo.
34 Also vnto the families of the children of Merari the rest of the Leuites, they gaue out of the tribe of Zebulun, Iokneam with her suburbs, and Kartah with her suburbes,
Abaleevi abaali basigaddewo abaana ba Merali ne baweebwa okuva mu kika kya Zebbulooni, Yokuneamu n’amalundiro gaakyo, ne Kaluta n’amalundiro gaakyo,
35 Dimnah with her suburbes, Nahalal, with her suburbes: foure cities.
Dimuna n’amalundiro gaakyo, Nakalali n’amalundiro gaakyo, bye bibuga bina.
36 And out of the tribe of Reuben, Bezer with her suburbs, and Iahazah with her suburbs,
Ne mu kika kya Lewubeeni, Bezeri n’amalundiro gaakyo, ne Yakazi n’amalundiro gaakyo,
37 Kedemoth with her suburbes, and Mephaath with her suburbes: foure cities.
Kedemosi n’amalundiro gaakyo, ne Mefaasi n’amalundiro gaakyo bye bibuga bina.
38 And out of the tribe of Gad they gaue for a citie of refuge for the slaier, Ramoth in Gilead with her suburbes, and Mahanaim with her suburbes,
Ne mu kika kya Gaadi, Lamosi mu Gireyaali n’amalundiro gaakyo, ekibuga ekyokwekwekamu oyo asse, ne Makanayimu n’amalundiro gaakyo.
39 Heshbon with her suburbs, and Iazer with her suburbes: foure cities in all.
Kesuboni n’amalundiro gaakyo, Yazeri n’amalundiro gaakyo awamu bye bibuga bina.
40 So all the cities of the children of Merari according to their families (which were the rest of the families of the Leuites) were by their lot, twelue cities.
Ebyo byonna byali by’abaana ba Merali be Baleevi, abaali basigalidde ng’ennyumba zaabwe bwe zaali, bye bibuga kkumi na bibiri byonna awamu.
41 And all the cities of the Leuites within the possession of the children of Israel, were eight and fourtie with their suburbes.
Ebibuga byonna ebyali ku ttaka ery’abaana ba Isirayiri byali amakumi ana mu munaana awamu n’ebyalo byabyo ebibiriraanye.
42 These cities lay euery one seuerallie with their suburbes round about them: so were all these cities.
Buli kimu ku bibuga bino kyalina ebyalo ebikyetoolodde; byonna ebibuga bwe byali.
43 So the Lord gaue vnto Israel all ye land, which hee had sworne to giue vnto their fathers: and they possessed it, and dwelt therein.
Bw’atyo Mukama n’awa Isirayiri ettaka lyonna nga bwe yalayirira bajjajjaabwe, era bwe baamala okulifuna ne babeera omwo.
44 Also the Lord gaue them rest rounde about according to all that hee had sworne vnto their fathers: and there stoode not a man of all their enemies before them: for the Lord deliuered all their enemies into their hand.
Mukama n’abawa emirembe ne bawummula ku buli luuyi nga bwe yalayirira bajjajjaabwe, tewali mulabe waabwe n’omu gwe bataawangula kubanga Mukama yali agabudde abalabe baabwe mu mukono gwabwe.
45 There failed nothing of all the good things, which the Lord hath sayde vnto the house of Israel, but all came to passe.
Buli kintu kyonna ekirungi Mukama kye yasuubiza ennyumba ya Isirayiri yakituukiriza. Byonna byatuukirira.
