Joshua 20
1 The Lord also spake vnto Ioshua, saying,
Markaasaa Rabbigu Yashuuca la hadlay, oo ku yidhi,
2 Speake to the children of Israel, and say, Appoint you cities of refuge, whereof I spake vnto you by the hand of Moses,
La hadal reer binu Israa'iil, oo waxaad ku tidhaahdaa, Sooca magaalooyinkii magangalka oo aan idiinku sheegay Muuse,
3 That the slaier that killeth any person by ignorance, and vnwittingly, may flee thither, and they shall be your refuge from the auenger of blood.
in gacankudhiiglihii qof dilaa, isagoo aan u kasayn oo aan badheedh u samayn, uu halkaas u cararo; oo waxay idiin noqonayaan meeshaad ka magangeli lahaydeen kan dhiigga ka aarsada.
4 And he that doeth flee vnto one of those cities, shall stand at the entring of the gate of the citie, and shall shewe his cause to the Elders of the citie: and they shall receiue him into the citie vnto them, and giue him a place, that hee may dwell with them.
Oo magaalooyinkaas middood waa inuu u cararaa, oo waa inuu istaagaa iridda magaalada laga soo galo, oo xaalkiisa waa inuu u caddeeyaa odayaasha magaalada, oo iyana waa inay magaalada soo geliyaan, oo meel siiyaan inuu la degganaado.
5 And if the auenger of blood pursue after him, they shall not deliuer the slaier into his hand because hee smote his neighbour ignorantly, neither hated he him before time:
Oo haddii kan dhiigga ka aarsadaa uu soo eryado, markaas waa inaanay gacankudhiiglihii gacantiisa gelin, maxaa yeelay, kaasu wuxuu deriskiisa ku dilay kama' oo horena ma uu nebcaan jirin.
6 But hee shall dwell in that citie vntill hee stande before the Congregation in iudgement, or vntill the death of the hie Priest that shall be in those daies: then shall the slaier returne, and come vnto his owne citie, and vnto his owne house, euen vnto the citie from whence he fled.
Oo magaaladaas waa inuu degganaadaa ilaa uu xukun isu hor taago shirka, iyo ilaa uu ka dhinto wadaadka sare oo jiri doona waayahaas, oo markaas ka dib gacankudhiigluhu waa inuu noqdaa, oo waa inuu magaaladiisii yimaadaa, iyo gurigiisii, ilaa magaaladii uu markii hore ka cararay.
7 Then they appointed Kedesh in Galil in mount Naphtali, and Shechem in mount Ephraim, and Kiriath-arba, (which is Hebron) in the mountaine of Iudah.
Oo waxay sooceen Qedesh oo ku tiil Galili oo ah dalka buuraha leh oo reer Naftaali, iyo Shekem oo iyana ku tiil dalka buuraha leh oo reer Efrayim, iyo Qiryad Arbac (oo ah Xebroon) ee ku tiil dalka buuraha leh oo reer Yahuudah.
8 And on the other side Iorden toward Iericho Eastward, they appoynted Bezer in the wildernesse vpon the plaine, out of the tribe of Reuben, and Ramoth in Gilead, out of the tribe of Gad, and Golan in Bashan, out of the tribe of Manasseh.
Oo Webi Urdun shishadiisa meel Yerixoo u dhow oo bari ka xigta waxay ka sooceen Beser oo ku tiil cidladii ku tiil bannaankii qabiilka reer Ruubeen, iyo Raamod oo ku tiil Gilecaad oo ay qabiilkii reer Gaad lahaayeen, iyo Goolaan oo ku tiil Baashaan oo ay qabiilkii reer Manaseh lahaayeen.
9 These were the cities appoynted for all the children of Israel, and for the stranger that soiourned among them, that whosoeuer killed any person ignorantly, might flee thither, and not die by the hande of the auenger of blood, vntill hee stoode before the Congregation.
Intaasu waa magaalooyinkii loo doortay reer binu Israa'iil oo dhan, iyo qariibkii dhexdooda degganaa, in ku alla kii qof dilaa, isagoo aan u kasayn, uu halkaas ku carari karo inaanu ku dhiman gacanta kan dhiigga ka aarsada, ilaa uu hor istaago shirka.
