Joshua 19
1 And the second lot came out to Simeon, euen for the tribe of the children of Simeon according to their families: and their inheritance was in the middes of the inheritance of the children of Iudah.
La seconda parte sorteggiata toccò a Simeone, alla tribù dei figli di Simeone secondo le loro famiglie. Il loro possesso era in mezzo a quello dei figli di Giuda.
2 Nowe they had in their inheritance, Beersheba, and Sheba, and Moladah,
Ebbero nel loro territorio: Bersabea, Seba, Molada,
3 And Hazur-shual, and Balah, and Azem,
Cazar-Susa, Bala, Asem,
4 And Eltolad, and Bethul, and Hormah,
Eltolad, Betul, Corma,
5 And Ziklag, and Beth-marcaboth, and Hazar-susah,
Ziklag, Bet-Marcabot, Cazar-Susa,
6 And Beth-lebaoth, and Sharuhen: thirteene cities with their villages.
Bet-Lebaot e Saruchen: tredici città e i loro villaggi;
7 Ain, Remmon, and Ether, and Ashan: foure cities with their villages.
En, Rimmon, Eter e Asan: quattro città e i loro villaggi;
8 And all the villages that were round about these cities, vnto Baalathbeer, and Ramath Southward: this is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Simeon according to their families.
tutti i villaggi che stavano intorno a queste città, fino a Baalat-Beer, Ramat-Negheb. Questo fu il possesso della tribù dei figli di Simeone, secondo le loro famiglie.
9 Out of the portion of the children of Iudah came ye inheritance of the childre of Simeon: for the part of ye children of Iudah was too much for them: therefore the children of Simeon had their inheritance within their inheritance.
Il possesso dei figli di Simeone fu preso dalla parte dei figli di Giuda, perché la parte dei figli di Giuda era troppo grande per loro; perciò i figli di Simeone ebbero il loro possesso in mezzo al possesso di quelli.
10 Also the third lot arose for the children of Zebulun according to their families: and the coastes of their inheritance came to Sarid,
La terza parte sorteggiata toccò ai figli di Zàbulon, secondo le loro famiglie. Il confine del loro territorio si estendeva fino a Sarid.
11 And their border goeth vp Westwarde, euen to Maralah, and reacheth to Dabbasheth, and meeteth with the riuer that lyeth before Iokneam,
Questo confine saliva a occidente verso Mareala e giungeva a Dabbeset e poi toccava il torrente che è di fronte a Iokneam.
12 And turneth from Sarid Eastward towarde the sunne rising vnto the border of Chisloth-tabor, and goeth out to Daberath, and ascendeth to Iaphia,
Da Sarid girava ad oriente, dove sorge il sole, sino al confine di Chislot-Tabor; poi continuava verso Daberat e saliva a Iafia.
13 And from thence goeth along Eastwarde towarde the sunne rising to Gittah-hepher to Ittah-kazin, and goeth foorth to Rimmon, and turneth to Neah.
Di là passava verso oriente, dove sorge il sole, per Gat-Efer, per Et-Kazin, usciva verso Rimmon, girando fino a Nea.
14 And this border compasseth it on ye North side to Hannathon, and the endes thereof are in the valley of Iiphtah-el,
Poi il confine piegava dal lato di settentrione verso Annaton e faceva capo alla valle d'Iftach-El.
15 And Kattath, and Nahallal, and Shimron, and Idalah, and Beth-lehem: twelue cities with their villages.
Esso includeva inoltre: Kattat, Naalal, Simron, Ideala e Betlemme: dodici città e i loro villaggi.
16 This is the inheritance of the children of Zebulun according to their families: that is, these cities and their villages.
Questo fu il possesso dei figli di Zàbulon, secondo le loro famiglie: queste città e i loro villaggi.
17 The fourth lot came out to Issachar, euen for the children of Issachar according to their families.
La quarta parte sorteggiata toccò a Issacar, ai figli di Issacar, secondo le loro famiglie.
18 And their coast was Izreelah, and Chesulloth, and Shunem,
Il loro territorio comprendeva: Izreel, Chesullot, Sunem,
19 And Hapharaim, and Shion, and Anaharath,
Afaraim, Sion, Anacarat,
20 And Harabbith, and Kishion, and Abez,
Rabbit, Kision, Abes,
21 And Remeth, and En-gannim, and Enhaddah, and Beth-pazzez.
Remet, En-Gannim, En-Chadda e Bet-Passes.
22 And this coast reacheth to Tabor, and Shahazimath, and Beth-shemesh, and the endes of their coast reach to Iorden: sixteene cities with their villages.
Poi il confine giungeva a Tabor, Sacasim, Bet-Semes e faceva capo al Giordano: sedici città e i loro villaggi.
23 This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Issachar according to their families: that is, the cities, and their villages.
Questo fu il possesso della tribù dei figli d'Issacar, secondo le loro famiglie: queste città e i loro villaggi.
24 Also the fift lot came out for the tribe of the children of Asher according to their families.
La quinta parte sorteggiata toccò ai figli di Aser secondo le loro famiglie.
25 And their coast was Helcath, and Hali, and Beten, and Achshaph,
Il loro territorio comprendeva: Elkat, Ali, Beten, Acsaf,
26 And Alammelech, and Amad, and Misheal, and came to Carmel Westward, and to Shihor Libnath,
Alammelech, Amead, Miseal. Il loro confine giungeva, verso occidente, al Carmelo e a Sicor-Libnat.
27 And turneth towarde the sunne rising to Beth-dagon, and commeth to Zebulun, and to the valley of Iiphtah-el, toward the Northside of Beth-emek, and Neiel, and goeth out on the left side of Cabul,
Poi piegava dal lato dove sorge il sole verso Bet-Dagon, toccava Zàbulon e la valle di Iftach-El al nord, Bet-Emek e Neiel, e si prolungava verso Cabul a sinistra
28 And to Ebron, and Rehob, and Hammon, and Kanah, vnto great Zidon.
e verso Ebron, Recob, Ammon e Cana fino a Sidòne la Grande.
29 Then the coast turneth to Ramah and to the strong citie of Zor, and this border turneth to Hosah, and the ends thereof are at the Sea from Hebel to Achzib,
Poi il confine piegava verso Rama fino alla fortezza di Tiro, girava verso Osa e faceva capo al mare; incluse Macleb, Aczib,
30 Vmmah also and Aphek, and Rehob: two and twentie cities with their villages.
Acco, Afek e Recob: ventidue città e i loro villaggi.
31 This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Asher according to their families: that is, these cities and their villages.
Questo il possesso della tribù dei figli di Aser, secondo le loro famiglie: queste città e i loro villaggi.
32 The sixt lot came out to the children of Naphtali, euen to the children of Naphtali according to their families.
La sesta parte sorteggiata toccò ai figli di Nèftali, secondo le loro famiglie.
33 And their coast was from Heleph, and from Allon in Zaanannim, and Adaminekeb, and Iabneel, euen to Lakum, and the ends thereof are at Iorden.
Il loro confine si estendeva da Elef e dalla quercia di Besaannim ad Adami-Nekeb e Iabneel fino a Lakkum e faceva capo al Giordano,
34 So this coast turneth Westwarde to Aznoth-tabor, and goeth out from thence to Hukkok, and reacheth to Zebulun on the Southside, and goeth to Asher on the Westside, and to Iudah by Iorden toward the sunne rising.
poi il confine piegava a occidente verso Aznot-Tabor e di là continuava verso Ukkok; giungeva a Zàbulon dal lato di mezzogiorno, ad Aser dal lato d'occidente e a Giuda del Giordano dal lato di levante.
35 And the strong cities are Ziddim, Zer, and Hammath, Rakkath, and Cinneereth,
Le fortezze erano Siddim, Ser, Ammat, Rakkat, Genèsaret,
36 And Adamah, and Ramah, and Hazor,
Adama, Rama, Cazor,
37 And Kedesh, and Edrei, and En-hazor,
Kedes, Edrei, En-Cazor,
38 And Iron, and Migdal-el, Horem, and Beth-anah, and Beth-shemesh: nineteene cities with their villages.
Ireon, Migdal-El, Orem, Bet-Anat e Bet-Semes: diciannove città e i loro villaggi.
39 This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Naphtali according to their families: that is, the cities and their villages.
Questo fu il possesso della tribù dei figli di Nèftali, secondo le loro famiglie: queste città e i loro villaggi.
40 The seuenth lot came out for the tribe of the children of Dan according to their families.
La settima parte sorteggiata toccò alla tribù dei figli di Dan, secondo le loro famiglie.
41 And the coast of their inheritance was Zorah, and Eshtaol, and Ir-shemesh,
Il confine del loro possesso comprendeva Sorea, Estaol, Ir-Semes,
42 And Shaalabbin, and Aiialon, and Ithlah,
Saalabbin, Aialon, Itla,
43 And Elon, and Temnathah, and Ekron,
Elon, Timna, Ekron,
44 And Eltekeh, and Gibbethon, and Baalah,
Elteke, Ghibbeton, Baalat,
45 And Iehud, and Bene-berak, and Gath-rimmon,
Ieud, Bene-Berak, Gat-Rimmon,
46 And Me-iarkon, and Rakkon, with the border that lieth before Iapho.
Me-Iarkon e Rakkon con il territorio di fronte a Giaffa.
47 But the coastes of the children of Dan fell out too litle for them: therefore the children of Dan went vp to fight against Leshem, and tooke it, and smote it with the edge of the sworde, and possessed it, and dwelt therein, and called Leshem, Dan after the name of Dan their father.
Ma il territorio dei figli di Dan si estese più lontano, perché i figli di Dan andarono a combattere contro Lesem; la presero e la passarono a fil di spada; ne presero possesso, vi si stabilirono e la chiamarono Dan, dal nome di Dan loro padre.
48 This is the inheritance of the tribe of the childre of Dan according to their families: that is, these cities and their villages.
Questo fu il possesso della tribù dei figli di Dan, secondo le loro famiglie: queste città e i loro villaggi.
49 When they had made an ende of deuiding the lande by the coastes thereof, then the children of Israel gaue an inheritance vnto Ioshua the sonne of Nun among them.
Quando gli Israeliti ebbero finito di ripartire il paese secondo i suoi confini, diedero a Giosuè, figlio di Nun, una proprietà in mezzo a loro.
50 According to the worde of the Lord they gaue him the citie which hee asked, euen Timnath-serah in mount Ephraim: and hee built the citie and dwelt therein.
Secondo l'ordine del Signore, gli diedero la città che egli chiese: Timnat-Serach, sulle montagne di Efraim. Egli costruì la città e vi stabilì la dimora.
51 These are ye heritages which Eleazar the Priest, and Ioshua the sonne of Nun, and the chiefe fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel deuided by lot in Shiloh before the Lord at the doore of the Tabernacle of the Congregation: so they made an ende of deuiding the countrey.
Tali sono le eredità che il sacerdote Eleazaro, Giosuè, figlio di Nun, e i capifamiglia delle tribù degli Israeliti distribuirono a sorte in Silo, davanti al Signore all'ingresso della tenda del convegno. Così compirono la divisione del paese.
