Joshua 18
1 And the whole Congregation of the children of Israel, came together at Shiloh: for they set vp the Tabernacle of the Congregation there, after the land was subiect vnto them.
Nakĩo kĩũngano gĩothe kĩa andũ a Isiraeli gĩkĩũngana kũu Shilo na gĩkĩamba Hema-ya-Gũtũnganwo kuo, tondũ nĩmarĩkĩtie gũtooria bũrũri ũcio ũgakorwo ũrĩ rungu rwao,
2 Nowe there remained among the children of Israel seuen tribes, to whom they had not deuided their inheritance.
no nĩ gwatigarire mĩhĩrĩga mũgwanja ya Isiraeli ĩrĩa ĩtegwatĩire igai rĩayo.
3 Therefore Ioshua said vnto the children of Israel, Howe long are ye so slacke to enter and possesse the land which the Lord God of your fathers hath giuen you?
Nĩ ũndũ ũcio Joshua akĩũria andũ a Isiraeli atĩrĩ, “Nĩ nginya rĩ mũgweterera mũtegũthiĩ kwĩgwatĩra bũrũri ũrĩa Jehova Ngai wa maithe manyu aamũheire?
4 Giue from among you for euery tribe three men, that I may sende them, and that they may rise, and walke through the land, and distribute it according to their inheritance, and returne to me.
Thuurai andũ atatũ kuuma kũrĩ o mũhĩrĩga, na niĩ nĩngũmatũma magatuĩrie ũrĩa bũrũri ũcio ũtariĩ na maandĩke ũhoro waguo, wa ũrĩa ũngĩgaĩrwo o mũhĩrĩga. Thuutha ũcio macooke moke kũrĩ niĩ.
5 And that they may deuide it vnto them into seuen parts, (Iudah shall abide in his coast at the South, and the house of Ioseph shall stand in their coastes at the North)
Na inyuĩ nĩmũkagayania bũrũri ũcio icunjĩ mũgwanja. Mũhĩrĩga wa Juda ũgaikara o kũu bũrũri waguo mwena wa gũthini, nayo nyũmba ya Jusufu ĩikare bũrũri wayo mwena wa gathigathini.
6 Ye shall describe the land therefore into seuen partes, and shall bring them hither to me, and I will cast lottes for you here before the Lord our God.
Mwarĩkia kwandĩka ũrĩa ngʼongo icio mũgwanja ingĩgayanio-rĩ, mũndehere ũhoro o haha, na niĩ ndĩmũcuukĩre mĩtĩ ndĩ mbere ya Jehova Ngai witũ.
7 But the Leuites shall haue no part among you: for the Priesthood of the Lord is their inheritance: also Gad and Reuben and halfe the tribe of Manasseh haue receiued their inheritance beyond Iorden Eastward, which Moses the seruant of the Lord gaue them.
No rĩrĩ, Alawii matikagaya igai gatagatĩ kanyu, nĩgũkorwo igai rĩao nĩ gũtungatĩra Jehova na wĩra wa ũthĩnjĩri-Ngai. Nao andũ a Gadi, na a Rubeni, na nuthu ya mũhĩrĩga wa Manase nĩmarĩkĩtie kwĩgwatĩra igai rĩao kũu mwena wa irathĩro wa Rũũĩ rwa Jorodani, kũrĩa Musa ndungata ya Jehova aamaheire.”
8 Then the men arose, and went their way: and Ioshua charged them that went to describe the land, saying, Depart, and goe through the land, and describe it, and returne to me, that I may here cast lottes for you before the Lord in Shiloh.
Nao andũ acio makĩambĩrĩria kuumagara magatuĩrie bũrũri ũcio. Nake Joshua akĩmaatha, akĩmeera atĩrĩ, “Thiĩi mũgatuĩrie ũrĩa bũrũri ũcio ũtariĩ na mwandĩke ũhoro waguo. Thuutha ũcio mũcooke kũrĩ niĩ, na niĩ ndĩmũcuukĩre mĩtĩ o gũkũ Shilo ndĩ mbere ya Jehova.”
9 So the men departed, and passed through the lande, and described it by cities into seuen partes in a booke, and returned to Ioshua into the campe at Shiloh.
Nĩ ũndũ ũcio andũ acio makiumagara magĩtuĩkania bũrũri ũcio, na makĩandĩka ibuku-inĩ rĩa gĩkũnjo ũrĩa bũrũri ũcio watariĩ, o itũũra, maũgaĩte icunjĩ mũgwanja, na magĩcooka kũrĩ Joshua kambĩ-inĩ, o kũu Shilo.
10 Then Ioshua cast lottes for them in Shiloh before the Lord, and there Ioshua deuided the land vnto the children of Israel, according to their portions:
Nake Joshua akĩmacuukĩra mĩtĩ o kũu Shilo mbere ya Jehova, na hau nĩho aagaĩire andũ a Isiraeli bũrũri ũcio kũringana na ũrĩa mĩhĩrĩga yao yagayanĩtio.
11 And the lot of the tribe of the children of Beniamin came foorth according to their families, and the cost of their lot lay betweene the children of Iudah, and the children of Ioseph.
Na rĩrĩ, Joshua aacuukĩra bũrũri ũcio mĩtĩ-rĩ, wa mbere wagwĩrĩire mũhĩrĩga wa Benjamini, kũringana na ũrĩa mbarĩ ciao ciatariĩ. Bũrũri ũrĩa maagaĩirwo warĩ gatagatĩ ka mũhĩrĩga wa Juda na wa Jusufu:
12 And their coast on the Northside was from Iorden, and the border went vp to the side of Iericho on the Northpart, and went vp through the mountaines Westward, and the endes thereof are in the wildernesse of Beth-auen:
Naguo mũhaka wa mwena wa gathigathini waambĩrĩirie Rũũĩ rwa Jorodani, ũkahĩtũkĩra kĩharũrũka-inĩ kĩa mwena wa gathigathini wa Jeriko, ũrorete mwena wa ithũĩro ũgakinya bũrũri ũrĩa ũrĩ irĩma, ũkoimĩrĩra werũ wa Bethi-Aveni.
13 And this border goeth along from thence to Luz, euen to the Southside of Luz (the same is Beth-el) and this border descendeth to Atroth-addar, neere the mount, that lyeth on the Southside of Beth-horon the nether.
Kuuma kũu ũgakĩrania ũrorete na mwena wa kĩharũrũka kĩa gũthini kĩa Luzu (na norĩo Betheli) na ũgaikũrũka nginya Atarothu-Adari gũkuhĩ na kĩrĩma kĩa mwena wa gũthini wa itũũra rĩa Bethi-Horoni ya Mũhuro.
14 So the border turneth, and compasseth the corner of the Sea Southward, from the mount that lyeth before Beth-horon Southward: and the endes thereof are at Kiriath-baal (which is Kiriath-iearim) a citie of the children of Iudah: this is the Westquarter.
Kuuma kĩrĩma kĩrĩa kĩngʼetheire Bethi-Horoni mwena wa gũthini, mũhaka ũcio ũkarigiicũka na mwena wa na gũthini ũgereire na mwena wa ithũĩro, ũkiumĩrĩra Kiriathu-Baali (na norĩo Kiriathu-Jearimu), itũũra rĩmwe rĩa andũ a Juda. Ũguo nĩguo mũhaka ũcio watariĩ mwena wa ithũĩro.
15 And the Southquarter is from the ende of Kiriath-iearim, and this border goeth out Westward, and commeth to the fountaine of waters of Nephtoah.
Naguo mwena wa gũthini mũhaka waambĩrĩirie gĩturi-inĩ kĩa Kiriathu-Jearimu, ũgathiĩ ũrorete mwena wa ithũĩro, ũkoimĩrĩra gĩthima-inĩ kĩa maaĩ ma Nefitoa.
16 And this border descendeth at the ende of the mountaine, that lyeth before the valley of Ben-hinnom, which is in the valley of the gyants Northward, and descendeth into the valley of Hinnom by the side of Iebusi Southwarde, and goeth downe to En-rogel,
Ningĩ mũhaka ũcio waikũrũkĩte o nginya magũrũ-inĩ ma kĩrĩma kĩrĩa kĩangʼetheire Gĩtuamba kĩa Beni-Hinomu, gathigathini wa Gĩtuamba kĩa Refaimu. Naguo ũgĩikũrũka na kĩanda gĩa Gĩtuamba kĩa Hinomu, wĩgiritanĩtie na kĩharũrũka kĩa mwena wa gũthini wa itũũra inene rĩa Ajebusi, ũgĩikũrũka nginya Eni-Rogeli.
17 And compasseth from the North, and goeth foorth to En-shemesh, and stretcheth to Geliloth, which is toward the going vp vnto Adummim, and goeth downe to the stone of Bohan the sonne of Reuben.
Mũhaka ũcio wacookete ũkegonya na mwena wa gathigathini, ũgathiĩ nginya Eni-Shemeshu, na ũgathiĩ na mbere nginya Galilothu, itũũra rĩrĩa rĩngʼetheire Mwanya wa Adumimu, ũgaikũrũka nginya Ihiga-inĩ rĩa Bohani mũrũ wa Rubeni.
18 So it goeth along to the side ouer against the plaine Northward, and goeth downe into the plaine.
Mũhaka wathiĩte na mbere nginya kĩharũrũka-inĩ gĩa gathigathini kĩa Bethi-Araba na ũgaikũrũka nginya Araba.
19 After, this border goeth along to the side of Beth-hoglah Northward: and the endes thereof, that is, of the border, reach to the point of the salt Sea Northward, and to the ende of Iorden Southward: this is the Southcoast.
Ningĩ ũgacooka ũkarora kĩharũrũka kĩa mwena wa gathigathini kĩa Bethi-Hogila, na ũkoimĩrĩra gĩcongoco-inĩ kĩa mwena wa gathigathini kĩa Iria rĩa Cumbĩ, o kũu mũthia-inĩ wa Rũũĩ rwa Jorodani mwena wa gũthini. Ũcio nĩguo warĩ mũhaka wa mwena wa gũthini.
20 Also Iorden is the border of it on the Eastside: this is the inheritance of the children of Beniamin by the coastes thereof rounde about according to their families.
Rũũĩ rwa Jorodani nĩruo rwarĩ mũhaka wa mwena wa irathĩro. Ĩyo nĩyo yarĩ mĩhaka ĩrĩa yathiũrũrũkĩte igai rĩa mbarĩ cia Benjamini mĩena ĩyo yothe.
21 Nowe the cities of the tribe of the children of Beniamin according to their families, are Iericho, and Beth-hoglah, and the valley of Keziz,
Mũhĩrĩga wa Benjamini, kũringana na ũrĩa mbarĩ ciao ciatariĩ, warĩ na matũũra maya: Jeriko, na Bethi-Hogila, na Emeki-Keziza,
22 And Beth-arabah, and Zemaraim, and Beth-el,
na Bethi-Araba, na Zemaraimu, na Betheli,
23 And Auim, and Parah, and Ophrah,
na Avimu, na Para, na Ofira,
24 And Chephar, Ammonai, and Ophni, and Gaba: twelue cities with their villages.
Kefari-Amoni, na Ofini, na Geba; mothe maarĩ matũũra ikũmi na meerĩ na tũtũũra twamo.
25 Gibeon, and Ramah, and Beeroth,
O na ningĩ warĩ na Gibeoni, na Rama, na Beerothu,
26 And Mizpeh, and Chephirah, and Mozah,
na Mizipe, na Kefira, na Moza,
27 And Rekem, and Irpeel, and Taralah,
na Rekemu, na Iripeeli, na Tarala,
28 And Zela, Eleph, and Iebusi, (which is Ierusalem) Gibeath, and Kiriath: fourteene cities with their villages: this is the inheritance of the children of Beniamin according to their families.
na Zela, na Elefu, na Itũũra inene rĩa Ajebusi (na nĩrĩo, Jerusalemu), na Gibeathi, na Kiriathu; mothe maarĩ matũũra ikũmi na mana na tũtũũra twamo. Rĩu nĩrĩo rĩarĩ igai rĩa mũhĩrĩga wa Benjamini kũringana na ũrĩa mbarĩ ciao ciatariĩ.
