Joshua 16
1 And the lot fell to the children of Ioseph from Iorden by Iericho vnto the water of Iericho Eastward, and to the wildernes that goeth vp from Iericho by the mount Beth-el:
Joseph caanawk mah taham khethaih phoisa to vah o moe, qawktoep o ih praenawk loe, Jordan vapui taeng, Jeriko vangpui ni angyae bang, kangbuem Jeriko tuili hoi praezaek ah caeh moe, Bethel mae ah caeh tahang poe,
2 And goeth out from Beth-el to Luz, and runneth along vnto the borders of Archiataroth,
Luz tiah kawk ih Bethel hoi caeh poe moe, Arki kaminawk ohhaih Ataroth vangpui to poeng pacoengah,
3 And goeth down Westward to the coast of Iaphleti, vnto the coast of Beth-horon the nether, and to Gezer: and the endes thereof are at the Sea.
Japhlet kaminawk ohhaih ahmuen niduem bangah caeh tathuk, Beth-Horon atlim hoi caeh let moe, Gezer vangpui to phak; to ahmuen hoi tuipui ah boeng.
4 So the children of Ioseph, Manasseh and Ephraim tooke their inheritance.
To tiah Joseph ih caa, Manasseh hoi Ephraim hnik mah qawk to lak hoi.
5 Also the borders of the children of Ephraim according to their families, euen the borders of their inheritance on the Eastside were Atroth-addar, vnto Beth-horon the vpper.
Ephraim acaeng imthung takoh boih mah hak ih prae loe, ni angyae bangah Ataroth-Addar vangpui hoi Beth-Horon vangpui aluek bang khoek to caeh poe;
6 And this border goeth out to the Sea vnto Michmethah on the Northside, and this border returneth Eastward vnto Taanathshiloh, and passeth it on the Eastside vnto Ianohah,
ramri loe tuipui taengah caeh poe moe, aluek bangah kaom Mikmethath vangpui ah phak; to ahmuen hoi ni angyae bangah angkoih moe, Taanath-Shiloh vangpui taeng phak pacoengah, ni angyae bangah kaom Janoah vangpui to phak.
7 And goeth downe from Ianohah to Ataroth, and Naarath, and commeth to Iericho, and goeth out at Iorden.
Janoah vangpui hoi caeh tathuk moe, Ataroth, Naarath hoi Jeriko vangpui to phak pacoengah, Jordan vapui ah boeng.
8 And this border goeth from Tappuah Westward vnto the riuer Kanah, and the endes thereof are at the Sea: this is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Ephraim by their families.
Tappuah vangpui hoi niduem bangah caeh moe, Kanah vapui to phak pacoengah, tuipui ah boeng. Hae loe Ephraim acaeng imthung takoh boih mah qawk ah toep o ih prae ah oh.
9 And the separate cities for the children of Ephraim were among the inheritance of the children of Manasseh: all the cities with their villages.
Manasseh acaengnawk mah qawk ah toep o ih prae thungah loe, Ephraim acaeng imthung takoh boih hanah qawk ah paek ih vangpuinawk hoi vangtanawk to athum boih.
10 And they cast not out the Canaanite that dwelt in Gezer, but the Canaanite dwelt among the Ephraimites vnto this day, and serued vnder tribute.
