Joshua 15
1 This then was the lot of the tribe of the children of Iudah by their families: euen to the border of Edom and the wildernesse of Zin, Southward on the Southcoast.
Ahora, la parte de la tierra marcada para los hijos de Judá por las familias, subía hasta el borde de Edom, hasta el desierto de Zin, al sur, hasta el punto más lejano, al sur.
2 And their South border was the salt Sea coast, from the point that looketh Southward.
Su límite sur era desde la parte más lejana del Mar Salado, desde el extremo mirando hacia el sur:
3 And it went out on the Southside towarde Maaleth-akrabbim, and went along to Zin, and ascended vp on the Southside vnto Kadesh-barnea, and went along to Hezron, and went vp to Adar, and fet a compasse to Karkaa.
Desde allí va al sur de la pendiente hasta Acrabim, y luego a Zin, luego al sur después de Cades-barnea, y luego por Hezron y hasta Adar, girando en dirección a Carca.
4 From thence went it along to Azmon, and reached vnto the riuer of Egypt, and the end of that coast was on the Westside: this shall be your South coast.
Luego a Azmon, que termina en la corriente de Egipto: y el final del límite está en el mar; Este será tu límite en el sur.
5 Also the Eastborder shalbe the salt Sea, vnto the end of Iorden: and the border on the North quarter from the point of the Sea, and from the end of Iorden.
Y el límite este es el Mar Salado hasta el final de Jordania. Y el límite de la parte norte de la tierra es desde la entrada del mar al final de Jordania:
6 And this border goeth vp to Beth-hogla, and goeth along by ye Northside of Beth-arabah: so the border from thence goeth vp to the stone of Bohan the sonne of Reuben.
Luego la línea sube hasta Bet-hogla, pasa el norte de Bet-arabá, y sube hasta la piedra de Bohán, el hijo de Reuben;
7 Againe this border goeth vp to Debir from the valley of Achor, and Northwarde, turning toward Gilgal, that lyeth before the going vp to Adummim, which is on the Southside of the riuer: also this border goeth vp to the waters of En-shemesh, and endeth at En-rogel.
Luego la línea sube a Debir desde el valle de Acor, y por lo tanto hacia el norte, en dirección a Gilgal, que está enfrente de la pendiente hasta Adumim, en el lado sur del río, y la línea continúa a las aguas de En-semes, que terminan en En-rogel:
8 Then this border goeth vp to the valley of the sonne of Hinnom; on the Southside of the Iebusites: the same is Ierusalem. also this border goeth vp to the top of the mountaine that lyeth before the valley of Hinnom Westward, which is by the end of the valley of ye gyants Northward.

9 So this border compasseth from the top of the mountaine vnto the fountaine of the water of Nephtoah, and goeth out to the cities of mount Ephron: and this border draweth to Baalah, which is Kiriath-iearim.
Y el límite está marcado desde la cima de la montaña hasta la fuente de las aguas de Neftoa, y hacia las ciudades del Monte Ephron, hasta Baalah (que es Quiriat-jearim)
10 Then this border compasseth from Baalah Westward vnto mount Seir, and goeth along vnto the side of mount Iearim, which is Chesalon on the Northside: so it commeth downe to Bethshemesh, and goeth to Timnah.
Luego, girando hacia el oeste, la línea va desde Baalah hasta el Monte Seir, y continúa hasta el lado del Monte Jearim (que es Quesalon) en el norte, luego baja a Bet-semes y pasa Timna.
11 Also this border goeth out vnto the side of Ekron Northwarde: and this border draweth to Shicron, and goeth along to mount Baalah, and stretcheth vnto Iabneel: and the endes of this coast are to the Sea.
Y hacia el lado de Ecrón al norte, luego se marca hacia Sicron, y luego hacia el monte Baala, que termina en Jabneel; El final de la línea está en el mar.
12 And the Westborder is to the great Sea: so this border shalbe the bounds of the children of Iudah round about, according to their families.
Y el límite al oeste es el borde del Gran Mar. Esta es la línea que recorre la tierra marcada para los hijos de Judá, por sus familias.
13 And vnto Caleb the sonne of Iephunneh did Ioshua giue a part among the children of Iudah, as the Lord commanded him, euen Kiriath-arba of the father of Anak, which is Hebron.
Y a Caleb, hijo de Jefone, entregó una parte de entre los hijos de Judá, tal como el Señor le había dado órdenes a Josué, es decir, Quiriat-arba, llamada así por Arba, el padre de Anac, que es Hebrón.
14 And Caleb droue thence three sonnes of Anak, Sheshai, and Ahiman, and Talmai, the sonnes of Anak.
Y los tres hijos de Anac, Sesai, Ahimán y Talmai, los hijos de Anac, fueron expulsados de allí por Caleb.
15 And he went vp thence to the inhabitants of Debir: and the name of Debir before time was Kiriath-sepher.
Desde allí se enfrentó a la gente de Debir: (ahora el nombre de Debir era Quiriat-sefer).
16 Then Caleb sayd, He that smiteth Kiriath-sepher, and taketh it, euen to him wil I giue Achsah my daughter to wife.
Y Caleb dijo: Daré a Acsa, mi hija, como esposa al hombre que vence a Quiriat-sefer y la conquiste.
17 And Othniel, the sonne of Kenaz, the brother of Caleb tooke it: and he gaue him Achsah his daughter to wife.
Otoniel, el hijo de Cenaz, el hermano de Caleb, la conquistó: y le dio a su hija Acsa por su esposa.
18 And as she went in to him, she moued him, to aske of her father a fielde: and she lighted off her asse, and Caleb sayd vnto her, What wilt thou?
Cuando ella se acercó a él, él le hizo pensar en la idea de pedirle a su padre un campo: y ella se bajó de su asno; y Caleb le dijo: ¿Qué deseas?
19 Then she answered, Giue me a blessing: for thou hast giuen mee the South countrey: giue me also springs of water. And hee gaue her the springs aboue and the springs beneath.
Y ella dijo: Dame una bendición; Porque me has puesto en tierra seca del sur, ahora dame manantiales de agua. Así que él le dio los manantiales de arriba y los manantiales de abajo.
20 This shalbe the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Iudah according to their families.
Esta es la herencia de la tribu de Judá, por sus familias.
21 And the vtmost cities of the tribe of the children of Iudah, toward the coastes of Edom Southward were Kabzeel, and Eder, and Iagur,
Los pueblos más lejanos de la tribu de Judá en dirección a los límites de Edom, al sur, fueron Cabseel, Edar y Jagur;
22 And Kinah, and Dimonah, and Adadah,
Cina, Dimona, Adada;
23 And Kedesh, and Hazor, and Ithnan,
Cedes, Hazor, Itnan;
24 Ziph, and Telem, and Bealoth,
Zif, Telem, y Bealot;
25 And Hazor, Hadattah, and Kerioth, Hesron (which is Hazor)
Hazor-hadata, Queriot, hezron (que es Hazor);
26 Amam, and Shema, and Moladah,
Amam, Sean, Molada;
27 And Hazar, Gaddah, and Heshmon, and Beth-palet,
Hazar-gada, Hesmon, Bet-pelet;
28 And Hasar-shual, and Beersheba, and Biziothiah,
Hazar-sual, Beer-seba, Bizotia;
29 Baalah, and Iim, and Azem,
Baalah, Iim, Esem;
30 And Eltolad, and Chesil, and Hormah,
Eltolad, Quesil, y Horma;
31 And Ziklag, and Madmanna, and Sansannah,
Siclag, Madmana, Sansana;
32 And Lebaoth, and Shilhim, and Ain, and Rimmon: all these cities are twentie and nine with their villages.
Lebaot, Silhim, En-Rimon; Todos los pueblos son veintinueve, con sus aldeas.
33 In the lowe countrey were Eshtaol, and Zoreah, and Ashnah,
En las tierras bajas, Estaol, Zora y Asena;
34 And Zanoah, and En-gannim, Tappuah, and Enam,
Zanoa, En-ganim, Tapua, Enam;
35 Iarmuth, and Adullam, Socoh, and Azekah,
Jarmut, y Adulam, Soco y Azeca;
36 And Sharaim, and Adithaim, and Gederah, and Gederothaim: fourteene cities with their villages.
Saaraim, Aditaim, Gedera, y Gederotaim; Catorce pueblos con sus aldeas.
37 Zenam, and Hadashah, and Migdal-gad,
Zenan, Haadasa, Migdal-gad;
38 And Dileam, and Mizpeh, and Ioktheel,
Dilean, Mizpa, Jocteel;
39 Lachish, and Bozkath, and Eglon,
Laquis, Boscat, Eglon;
40 And Cabbon, and Lahmam, and Kithlish,
Cabon, Lahmam, Quitlis;
41 And Gederoth, Beth-dagon, and Naamah, and Makkedah: sixteene cities with their villages.
Gederot, Bet-dagon, Naama, Maceda; Dieciséis pueblos con sus aldeas.
42 Lebnah, and Ether, and Ashan,
Libna, Éter, Asan;
43 And Iipthtah, and Ashnah, and Nezib,
Jifta, Asena, Nezib;
44 And Keilah, and Aczib, and Mareshah: nine cities with their villages.
Keila, Aczib, y Maresa; Nueve poblados con sus aldeas.
45 Ekron with her townes and her villages,
Ecrón, con sus pueblos y aldeas;
46 From Ekron, euen vnto the Sea, all that lyeth about Ashdod with their villages.
De Ecrón al mar, todos los pueblos al lado de Asdod, con sus lugares sus aldeas.
47 Ashdod with her townes and her villages: Azzah with her townes and her villages, vnto the riuer of Egypt, and the great Sea was their coast.
Asdod, con sus pueblos y aldeas; Gaza, con sus pueblos y aldeas, a la corriente de Egipto, con el Gran Mar como límite.
48 And in the mountaines were Shamir, and Iattir, and Socoh,
Y en la región montañosa, Samir, Jatir y Soco;
49 And Dannah, and Kiriath-sannath (which is Debir)
Dana, Quiriat-Sana (que es Debir);
50 And Anab, and Ashtemoth, and Anim,
Anab, y Estemoa, y Anim;
51 And Goshen, and Holon, and Giloh: eleuen cities with their villages,
Gosen, Holon, Gilo; Once ciudades con sus aldeas.
52 Arab, and Dumah, and Eshean,
Árabe, y Duma, Esan;
53 And Ianum, and Beth-tappuah, and Aphekah,
Janum, y Bet-tapua, Afeca;
54 And Humtah, and Kiriath-arba, (which is Hebron) and Zior: nine cities with their villages.
Humta, Quiriat-arba (que es Hebrón), y Sior; Nueve poblados con sus aldeas.
55 Maon, Carmel, and Ziph, and Iuttah,
Maon, Carmel, Zif, Juta;
56 And Izreel, and Iokdeam, and Zanoah,
Jezreel, Jocdeam, Zanoa;
57 Kain, Gibeah, and Timnah: ten cities with their villages.
Cain, Gabaa y Timna; Diez pueblos con sus aldeas.
58 Halhul, Beth-zur, and Gedor,
Halhul, Bet-sur y Gedor;
59 And Maarah, and Beth-anoth, and Eltekon: sixe cities with their villages.
Maarat, y Beth-anot, y Eltecon; Seis pueblos con sus aldeas.
60 Kiriath-baal, which is Kiriath-iearim, and Rabbah: two cities with their villages.
Quiriat-baal (que es Quiriat-jearim), y Raba; Dos pueblos con sus aldeas.
61 In the wildernes were Beth-arabah, Middin, and Secacah,
En el desierto, Bet-araba, Midin y Secaca;
62 And Nibshan, and the citie of salt, and Engedi: sixe cities with their villages.
Nibsan, y el pueblo de la Sal, y En-gadi; Seis pueblos con sus aldeas.
63 Neuerthelesse, the Iebusites that were the inhabitants of Ierusalem, could not the children of Iudah cast out, but the Iebusites dwell with the children of Iudah at Ierusalem vnto this day.
Y en cuanto a los jebuseos que viven en Jerusalén, los hijos de Judá no pudieron hacerlos salir; pero los jebuseos viven con los hijos de Judá en Jerusalén hasta el día de hoy.
