Joshua 15
1 This then was the lot of the tribe of the children of Iudah by their families: euen to the border of Edom and the wildernesse of Zin, Southward on the Southcoast.
E foi a sorte da tribu dos filhos de Judah, segundo as suas familias, até ao termo d'Edom, o deserto de Sin para o sul, até a extremidade da banda do sul.
2 And their South border was the salt Sea coast, from the point that looketh Southward.
E foi o seu termo para o sul, desde a ribeira do mar salgado, desde a bahia que olha para o sul;
3 And it went out on the Southside towarde Maaleth-akrabbim, and went along to Zin, and ascended vp on the Southside vnto Kadesh-barnea, and went along to Hezron, and went vp to Adar, and fet a compasse to Karkaa.
E sae para o sul, até á subida d'Akrabbim, e passa a Sin, e sobe do sul a Cades Barnea, e passa por Hezron, e sobe a Adar, e rodeia a Carca:
4 From thence went it along to Azmon, and reached vnto the riuer of Egypt, and the end of that coast was on the Westside: this shall be your South coast.
E passa Asmon, e sae ao ribeiro do Egypto, e as saidas d'este termo irão até ao mar: este será o vosso termo da banda do sul.
5 Also the Eastborder shalbe the salt Sea, vnto the end of Iorden: and the border on the North quarter from the point of the Sea, and from the end of Iorden.
O termo porém para o oriente será o mar salgado, até á extremidade do Jordão: e o termo para o norte será da bahia do mar, desde a extremidade do Jordão.
6 And this border goeth vp to Beth-hogla, and goeth along by ye Northside of Beth-arabah: so the border from thence goeth vp to the stone of Bohan the sonne of Reuben.
E este termo subirá até Beth-hogla, e passará do norte a Beth-araba, e este termo subirá até á pedra de Bohan, filho de Ruben
7 Againe this border goeth vp to Debir from the valley of Achor, and Northwarde, turning toward Gilgal, that lyeth before the going vp to Adummim, which is on the Southside of the riuer: also this border goeth vp to the waters of En-shemesh, and endeth at En-rogel.
Subirá mais este termo a Debir desde o valle d'Acor, e olhará pelo norte para Gilgal, a qual está á subida d'Adummim, que está para o sul do ribeiro: então este termo passará até ás aguas d'En-semes: e as suas saidas estarão da banda d'En-rogel.
8 Then this border goeth vp to the valley of the sonne of Hinnom; on the Southside of the Iebusites: the same is Ierusalem. also this border goeth vp to the top of the mountaine that lyeth before the valley of Hinnom Westward, which is by the end of the valley of ye gyants Northward.
E este termo passará pelo valle do filho d'Hinnom, da banda dos jebuseos do sul: esta é Jerusalem: e subirá este termo até ao cume do monte que está diante do valle d'Hinnom para o occidente, que está no fim do valle dos rephains da banda do norte
9 So this border compasseth from the top of the mountaine vnto the fountaine of the water of Nephtoah, and goeth out to the cities of mount Ephron: and this border draweth to Baalah, which is Kiriath-iearim.
Então este termo irá desde a altura do monte até á fonte das aguas de Nephtoah; e sairá até ás cidades do monte d'Ephron; irá mais este termo até Baala; esta é Kiriath-jearim:
10 Then this border compasseth from Baalah Westward vnto mount Seir, and goeth along vnto the side of mount Iearim, which is Chesalon on the Northside: so it commeth downe to Bethshemesh, and goeth to Timnah.
Então tornará este termo desde Baala para o occidente, até ás montanhas de Seir, e passará ao lado do monte de Jearim da banda do norte; esta é Kesalon, e descerá a Beth-semes, e passará por Timna.
11 Also this border goeth out vnto the side of Ekron Northwarde: and this border draweth to Shicron, and goeth along to mount Baalah, and stretcheth vnto Iabneel: and the endes of this coast are to the Sea.
Sairá este termo mais ao lado d'Ek- ron para o norte, e este termo irá a Sicron, e passará o monte de Baala, e sairá em Jabneel: e as saidas d'este termo eram no mar
12 And the Westborder is to the great Sea: so this border shalbe the bounds of the children of Iudah round about, according to their families.
Será porém o termo da banda do occidente o mar grande, e o seu termo: este é o termo dos filhos de Judah ao redor, segundo as suas familias.
13 And vnto Caleb the sonne of Iephunneh did Ioshua giue a part among the children of Iudah, as the Lord commanded him, euen Kiriath-arba of the father of Anak, which is Hebron.
Mas a Caleb, filho de Jefoné, deu uma parte no meio dos filhos de Judah, conforme ao dito do Senhor a Josué: a saber, a cidade de Arba, pae d'Enak; este é Hebron.
14 And Caleb droue thence three sonnes of Anak, Sheshai, and Ahiman, and Talmai, the sonnes of Anak.
E expelliu Caleb d'ali os tres filhos d'Enak: Sesai, e Ahiman, e Talmai, gerados d'Enak.
15 And he went vp thence to the inhabitants of Debir: and the name of Debir before time was Kiriath-sepher.
E d'ali subiu aos habitantes de Debir: e fôra d'antes o nome de Debir Kiriath-sepher.
16 Then Caleb sayd, He that smiteth Kiriath-sepher, and taketh it, euen to him wil I giue Achsah my daughter to wife.
E disse Caleb: Quem ferir a Kiriath-sepher, e a tomar, lhe darei a minha filha Acsa por mulher.
17 And Othniel, the sonne of Kenaz, the brother of Caleb tooke it: and he gaue him Achsah his daughter to wife.
Tomou-a pois Othniel, filho de Kenaz, irmão de Caleb: e deu-lhe a sua filha Acsa por mulher.
18 And as she went in to him, she moued him, to aske of her father a fielde: and she lighted off her asse, and Caleb sayd vnto her, What wilt thou?
E succedeu que, vindo ella a elle o persuadiu que pedisse um campo a seu pae: e ella se apeou do jumento: então Caleb lhe disse: Que é que tens?
19 Then she answered, Giue me a blessing: for thou hast giuen mee the South countrey: giue me also springs of water. And hee gaue her the springs aboue and the springs beneath.
E ella disse; Dá-me uma benção; pois me déste terra secca, dá-me tambem fontes de aguas. Então lhe deu as fontes superiores e as fontes inferiores.
20 This shalbe the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Iudah according to their families.
Esta é a herança da tribu dos filhos de Judah, segundo as suas familias.
21 And the vtmost cities of the tribe of the children of Iudah, toward the coastes of Edom Southward were Kabzeel, and Eder, and Iagur,
São pois as cidades da extremidade da tribu dos filhos de Judah até ao termo d'Edom para o sul: Cabzeel, e Eder, e Jagur,
22 And Kinah, and Dimonah, and Adadah,
E Kina, e Dimona, e Adada,
23 And Kedesh, and Hazor, and Ithnan,
E Kedes, e Hasor, e Itnan,
24 Ziph, and Telem, and Bealoth,
Zif, e Telem, e Bealoth,
25 And Hazor, Hadattah, and Kerioth, Hesron (which is Hazor)
E Hasor, Hadattha, e Kirioth-hesron (que é Hasor),
26 Amam, and Shema, and Moladah,
Aman, e Sema, e Molada,
27 And Hazar, Gaddah, and Heshmon, and Beth-palet,
E Hasar-gadda, e Hesmone, e Beth-palet,
28 And Hasar-shual, and Beersheba, and Biziothiah,
E Hasar-sual, e Beer-seba, e Bizjo-theja,
29 Baalah, and Iim, and Azem,
Baala, e Jim, e Ezem,
30 And Eltolad, and Chesil, and Hormah,
E Eltolad, e Chesil, e Horma,
31 And Ziklag, and Madmanna, and Sansannah,
E Siklag, e Madmanna, e Sansanna,
32 And Lebaoth, and Shilhim, and Ain, and Rimmon: all these cities are twentie and nine with their villages.
E Lebaoth, e Silhim, e Ain, e Rimmon: todas as cidades e as suas aldeias, vinte e nove.
33 In the lowe countrey were Eshtaol, and Zoreah, and Ashnah,
Nas planicies: Esthaol, e Sora, e Asna,
34 And Zanoah, and En-gannim, Tappuah, and Enam,
E Zanoah, e En-gannim, Tappuah, e Enam,
35 Iarmuth, and Adullam, Socoh, and Azekah,
Iarmuth, e Adullam, Socho, e Azeka,
36 And Sharaim, and Adithaim, and Gederah, and Gederothaim: fourteene cities with their villages.
E Saaraim, e Adithaim, e Gedera, e Gederothaim, quatorze cidades e as suas aldeias.
37 Zenam, and Hadashah, and Migdal-gad,
Senan, e Hadasa, e Migdal-gad,
38 And Dileam, and Mizpeh, and Ioktheel,
E Dilan, e Mispah, e Jokteel,
39 Lachish, and Bozkath, and Eglon,
Lachis, e Boscath, e Eglon,
40 And Cabbon, and Lahmam, and Kithlish,
E Cabbon, e Lahmas, e Chitlis,
41 And Gederoth, Beth-dagon, and Naamah, and Makkedah: sixteene cities with their villages.
E Gederoth, Beth-dagon, e Naama, e Makeda: dezeseis cidades e as suas aldeias.
42 Lebnah, and Ether, and Ashan,
Libna, e Ether, e Asan,
43 And Iipthtah, and Ashnah, and Nezib,
E Iphtah, e Asna, e Nezib,
44 And Keilah, and Aczib, and Mareshah: nine cities with their villages.
E Keila, e Aczib, e Maresa: nove cidades e as suas aldeias.
45 Ekron with her townes and her villages,
Ekron, e os logares da sua jurisdicção, e as suas aldeias:
46 From Ekron, euen vnto the Sea, all that lyeth about Ashdod with their villages.
Desde Ekron, e até ao mar, todas as que estão da banda d'Asdod, e as suas aldeias.
47 Ashdod with her townes and her villages: Azzah with her townes and her villages, vnto the riuer of Egypt, and the great Sea was their coast.
Asdod, os logares da sua jurisdicção, e as suas aldeias; Gaza, os logares da sua jurisdicção, e as suas aldeias, até ao rio do Egypto: e o mar grande e o seu termo.
48 And in the mountaines were Shamir, and Iattir, and Socoh,
E nas montanhas, Samir, Iatthir, e Socoh,
49 And Dannah, and Kiriath-sannath (which is Debir)
E Danna, e Kiriath-sanna, que é Debir,
50 And Anab, and Ashtemoth, and Anim,
E Anab, Estemo, e Anim,
51 And Goshen, and Holon, and Giloh: eleuen cities with their villages,
E Gosen, e Holon, e Gilo: onze cidades e as suas aldeias.
52 Arab, and Dumah, and Eshean,
Arab, e Duma, e Esan,
53 And Ianum, and Beth-tappuah, and Aphekah,
E Ianum, e Beth-tappuah, e Apheka,
54 And Humtah, and Kiriath-arba, (which is Hebron) and Zior: nine cities with their villages.
E Humta, e Kiriath-arba (que é Hebron), e Sihor: nove cidades e as suas aldeias.
55 Maon, Carmel, and Ziph, and Iuttah,
Maon, Carmel, e Zif, e Iuta,
56 And Izreel, and Iokdeam, and Zanoah,
E Jezreel, e Jokdeam, e Zanoah,
57 Kain, Gibeah, and Timnah: ten cities with their villages.
Cain, Gibea, e Timna: dez cidades e as suas aldeias.
58 Halhul, Beth-zur, and Gedor,
Halhul, Beth-sur, e Gedor,
59 And Maarah, and Beth-anoth, and Eltekon: sixe cities with their villages.
E Maarath, e Beth-anoth, e Eltekon: seis cidades e as suas aldeias.
60 Kiriath-baal, which is Kiriath-iearim, and Rabbah: two cities with their villages.
Kiriath-baal (que é, Kiriath-jearim), e Rabba: duas cidades e as suas aldeias.
61 In the wildernes were Beth-arabah, Middin, and Secacah,
No deserto: Beth-araba, Middin, e Secaca,
62 And Nibshan, and the citie of salt, and Engedi: sixe cities with their villages.
E Nibsan, e a cidade do sal, e En-gedi: seis cidades e as suas aldeias.
63 Neuerthelesse, the Iebusites that were the inhabitants of Ierusalem, could not the children of Iudah cast out, but the Iebusites dwell with the children of Iudah at Ierusalem vnto this day.
Não poderam porém os filhos de Judah expellir os jebuseos que habitavam em Jerusalem; assim habitaram os jebuseos com os filhos de Judah em Jerusalem, até ao dia de hoje.
