Joshua 15
1 This then was the lot of the tribe of the children of Iudah by their families: euen to the border of Edom and the wildernesse of Zin, Southward on the Southcoast.
| این است زمینی که به حکم قرعه به خاندانهای قبیلهٔ یهودا داده شد: این زمین در جنوب به منتهی الیه جنوبی بیابان صین می‌رسید و در آنجا با ادوم هم مرز می‌شد. |
2 And their South border was the salt Sea coast, from the point that looketh Southward.
| این مرز جنوبی از جنوب دریای مرده شروع می‌شد و از جنوب «گردنهٔ عقربها» گذشته، به سوی بیابان صین پیش می‌رفت. از آنجا به جنوب قادش برنیع می‌رسید و سپس از حصرون گذشته، به طرف ادار بالا می‌رفت و به طرف قَرقَع برمی‌گشت و به عصمون می‌رسید، بعد درۀ مصر را طی کرده، به دریای مدیترانه ختم می‌شد. |
3 And it went out on the Southside towarde Maaleth-akrabbim, and went along to Zin, and ascended vp on the Southside vnto Kadesh-barnea, and went along to Hezron, and went vp to Adar, and fet a compasse to Karkaa.
4 From thence went it along to Azmon, and reached vnto the riuer of Egypt, and the end of that coast was on the Westside: this shall be your South coast.
5 Also the Eastborder shalbe the salt Sea, vnto the end of Iorden: and the border on the North quarter from the point of the Sea, and from the end of Iorden.
| مرز شرقی آن از جنوب دریای مرده شروع می‌شد و تا شمال دریا یعنی جایی که رود اردن در آن می‌ریزد، امتداد می‌یافت. از آنجا مرز شمالی شروع می‌شد و |
6 And this border goeth vp to Beth-hogla, and goeth along by ye Northside of Beth-arabah: so the border from thence goeth vp to the stone of Bohan the sonne of Reuben.
| تا بیت‌حجله امتداد می‌یافت و به طرف شمال وادی اردن تا «سنگ بوهَن» (بوهَن پسر رئوبین بود) پیش می‌رفت. |
7 Againe this border goeth vp to Debir from the valley of Achor, and Northwarde, turning toward Gilgal, that lyeth before the going vp to Adummim, which is on the Southside of the riuer: also this border goeth vp to the waters of En-shemesh, and endeth at En-rogel.
| در آنجا از میان درهٔ عخور گذشته، به دبیر می‌رسید. بعد به سمت شمال، به سوی جلجال مقابل گردنهٔ ادومیم در طرف جنوبی درهٔ عخور برمی‌گشت. از آنجا به طرف چشمه‌های عین شمس پیش می‌رفت و به عین روجل می‌رسید. |
8 Then this border goeth vp to the valley of the sonne of Hinnom; on the Southside of the Iebusites: the same is Ierusalem. also this border goeth vp to the top of the mountaine that lyeth before the valley of Hinnom Westward, which is by the end of the valley of ye gyants Northward.
| سپس از درهٔ هنوم که در امتداد دامنهٔ جنوبی شهر یبوسی (یعنی اورشلیم) قرار دارد، بالا می‌رفت و از آنجا به بالای تپه‌ای که در سمت غربی درهٔ هنوم و در انتهای شمالی درهٔ رفائیم است، پیش می‌رفت. |
9 So this border compasseth from the top of the mountaine vnto the fountaine of the water of Nephtoah, and goeth out to the cities of mount Ephron: and this border draweth to Baalah, which is Kiriath-iearim.
| از آنجا به چشمه‌های نفتوح کشیده شده، به شهرهای نزدیک کوه عفرون می‌رسید و تا بعله (قریه یعاریم) امتداد می‌یافت. |
10 Then this border compasseth from Baalah Westward vnto mount Seir, and goeth along vnto the side of mount Iearim, which is Chesalon on the Northside: so it commeth downe to Bethshemesh, and goeth to Timnah.
| سپس از بعله به طرف مغرب به کوه سعیر برمی‌گشت و در امتداد دامنهٔ شمالی کوه یعاریم (که کسالون باشد) پیش می‌رفت و به طرف بیت‌شمس سرازیر شده، از تمنه می‌گذشت. |
11 Also this border goeth out vnto the side of Ekron Northwarde: and this border draweth to Shicron, and goeth along to mount Baalah, and stretcheth vnto Iabneel: and the endes of this coast are to the Sea.
| بعد به دامنهٔ شمالی عقرون می‌رسید و تا شکرون کشیده می‌شد و از کوه بعله گذشته به یبن‌ئیل می‌رسید و سرانجام به دریای مدیترانه ختم می‌شد. |
12 And the Westborder is to the great Sea: so this border shalbe the bounds of the children of Iudah round about, according to their families.
| مرز غربی، ساحل دریای مدیترانه بود. خاندانهای قبیلهٔ یهودا در داخل این مرزها زندگی می‌کردند. |
13 And vnto Caleb the sonne of Iephunneh did Ioshua giue a part among the children of Iudah, as the Lord commanded him, euen Kiriath-arba of the father of Anak, which is Hebron.
| خداوند به یوشع دستور داد که قسمتی از زمین یهودا را به کالیب (پسر یفنه) ببخشد. برحسب این دستور، قریهٔ اربع که نام دیگر آن حبرون بود به او داده شد. (اربع نام پدر عناق بود.) |
14 And Caleb droue thence three sonnes of Anak, Sheshai, and Ahiman, and Talmai, the sonnes of Anak.
| کالیب، طایفه‌های شیشای، اخیمان و تَلَمای را که از نسل عناق بودند از آنجا بیرون راند. |
15 And he went vp thence to the inhabitants of Debir: and the name of Debir before time was Kiriath-sepher.
| سپس با مردم شهر دبیر (که قبلاً قریه سفر نامیده می‌شد) جنگید. |
16 Then Caleb sayd, He that smiteth Kiriath-sepher, and taketh it, euen to him wil I giue Achsah my daughter to wife.
| کالیب به افراد خود گفت: «هر که برود و قریۀ سفر را تصرف نماید، دخترم عکسه را به او به زنی خواهم داد.» |
17 And Othniel, the sonne of Kenaz, the brother of Caleb tooke it: and he gaue him Achsah his daughter to wife.
| عُتن‌ئیل (پسر قناز) برادرزادهٔ کالیب، شهر را تصرف نمود و کالیب عکسه را به او به زنی داد. |
18 And as she went in to him, she moued him, to aske of her father a fielde: and she lighted off her asse, and Caleb sayd vnto her, What wilt thou?
| عتن‌ئیل وقتی عکسه را به خانهٔ خود می‌برد، او را ترغیب نمود تا از پدرش قطعه زمینی بخواهد. عکسه از الاغش پیاده شد تا در این باره با پدرش کالیب صحبت کند. کالیب از او پرسید: «چه می‌خواهی؟» |
19 Then she answered, Giue me a blessing: for thou hast giuen mee the South countrey: giue me also springs of water. And hee gaue her the springs aboue and the springs beneath.
| عکسه گفت: «یک هدیهٔ دیگر هم به من بده! چون آن زمینی که در نِگِب به من داده‌ای، زمین بی‌آبی است. یک قطعه زمین که چشمه در آن باشد به من بده.» پس کالیب چشمه‌های بالا و پایین را به او بخشید. |
20 This shalbe the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Iudah according to their families.
| سرزمینی که به قبیلهٔ یهودا تعلق گرفت شامل شهرهای زیر بود. |
21 And the vtmost cities of the tribe of the children of Iudah, toward the coastes of Edom Southward were Kabzeel, and Eder, and Iagur,
| شهرهایی که در امتداد مرزهای ادوم در دشت نگب واقع شده بودند و عبارت بودند از: قبصئیل، عیدر، یاجور، |
22 And Kinah, and Dimonah, and Adadah,
| قینه، دیمونه، عدعده، |
23 And Kedesh, and Hazor, and Ithnan,
| قادش، حاصور، یتنان، |
24 Ziph, and Telem, and Bealoth,
| زیف، طالم، بعلوت، |
25 And Hazor, Hadattah, and Kerioth, Hesron (which is Hazor)
| حاصور حَدَته، قریوت حصرون (یا حاصور)، |
26 Amam, and Shema, and Moladah,
| اَمام، شماع، مولاده، |
27 And Hazar, Gaddah, and Heshmon, and Beth-palet,
| حَصَر جده، حشمون، بیت‌فالط، |
28 And Hasar-shual, and Beersheba, and Biziothiah,
| حصرشوعال، بئرشبع، بزیوتیه، |
29 Baalah, and Iim, and Azem,
| بعاله، عییم، عاصم، |
30 And Eltolad, and Chesil, and Hormah,
| التولد، کسیل، حرمه، |
31 And Ziklag, and Madmanna, and Sansannah,
| صقلغ، مدمنه، سنسنه، |
32 And Lebaoth, and Shilhim, and Ain, and Rimmon: all these cities are twentie and nine with their villages.
| لباوت، سلخیم، عین و رمون، جمعاً بیست و نه شهر با روستاهای اطراف. |
33 In the lowe countrey were Eshtaol, and Zoreah, and Ashnah,
| شهرهایی که در دشتها واقع شده بودند و عبارت بودند از: اِشتائُل، صَرعه، اشنه، |
34 And Zanoah, and En-gannim, Tappuah, and Enam,
| زانوح، عین‌جنیم، تفوح، عینام، |
35 Iarmuth, and Adullam, Socoh, and Azekah,
| یرموت، عدلام، سوکوه، عزیقه، |
36 And Sharaim, and Adithaim, and Gederah, and Gederothaim: fourteene cities with their villages.
| شعرایم، عدیتایم، جدیره و جدیرتایم، جمعاً چهارده شهر با روستاهای اطراف. |
37 Zenam, and Hadashah, and Migdal-gad,
| صنان، حداشاه، مجدل جاد، |
38 And Dileam, and Mizpeh, and Ioktheel,
| دلعان، مصفه، یُقتِئیل، |
39 Lachish, and Bozkath, and Eglon,
| لاخیش، بُصقه، عجلون، |
40 And Cabbon, and Lahmam, and Kithlish,
| کبون، لحمان، کتلیش، |
41 And Gederoth, Beth-dagon, and Naamah, and Makkedah: sixteene cities with their villages.
| جدیروت، بیت‌داجون، نعمه و مقیده جمعاً شانزده شهر با روستاهای اطراف. |
42 Lebnah, and Ether, and Ashan,
| لبنه، عاتر، عاشان، |
43 And Iipthtah, and Ashnah, and Nezib,
| یفتاح، اشنه، نصیب، |
44 And Keilah, and Aczib, and Mareshah: nine cities with their villages.
| قعیله، اکزیب و مریشه جمعاً نه شهر با روستاهای اطراف. |
45 Ekron with her townes and her villages,
| همچنین تمام شهرها و روستاهای ناحیۀ عقرون جزو ملک قبیلهٔ یهودا بود. |
46 From Ekron, euen vnto the Sea, all that lyeth about Ashdod with their villages.
| مرز آن از عقرون تا دریای مدیترانه بود و شهرهایی که اطراف اشدود واقع شده بودند با روستاهای مجاور جزو زمین یهودا به شمار می‌آمدند. |
47 Ashdod with her townes and her villages: Azzah with her townes and her villages, vnto the riuer of Egypt, and the great Sea was their coast.
| و نیز خود شهر اشدود و غزه با آبادی‌های اطراف آنها و تمام شهرهای کنار دریای مدیترانه تا درهٔ مصر جزو ملک یهودا بودند. |
48 And in the mountaines were Shamir, and Iattir, and Socoh,
| شهرهایی که در نواحی کوهستانی قرار داشتند و عبارت بودند از: شامیر، یتیر، سوکوه، |
49 And Dannah, and Kiriath-sannath (which is Debir)
| دنه، قریه سنه (یا دبیر)، |
50 And Anab, and Ashtemoth, and Anim,
| عناب، اشتموع، عانیم، |
51 And Goshen, and Holon, and Giloh: eleuen cities with their villages,
| جوشن، حولون و جیلوه، جمعاً یازده شهر با روستاهای اطراف. |
52 Arab, and Dumah, and Eshean,
| اراب، دومه، اشعان، |
53 And Ianum, and Beth-tappuah, and Aphekah,
| یانوم، بیت‌تفوح، افیقه، |
54 And Humtah, and Kiriath-arba, (which is Hebron) and Zior: nine cities with their villages.
| حُمطه، قریه اربع (حبرون) و صیعور، جمعاً نه شهر با روستاهای اطراف. |
55 Maon, Carmel, and Ziph, and Iuttah,
| معون، کرمل، زیف، یوطه، |
56 And Izreel, and Iokdeam, and Zanoah,
| یزرعیل، یُقدعام، زانوح، |
57 Kain, Gibeah, and Timnah: ten cities with their villages.
| قاین، جِبعه و تِمنه جمعاً ده شهر با روستاهای اطراف. |
58 Halhul, Beth-zur, and Gedor,
| حلحول، بیت‌صور، جدور، |
59 And Maarah, and Beth-anoth, and Eltekon: sixe cities with their villages.
| معارات، بیت‌عنوت و التقون، جمعاً شش شهر با روستاهای اطراف. |
60 Kiriath-baal, which is Kiriath-iearim, and Rabbah: two cities with their villages.
| قریه بعل (قریه یعاریم) و رَبه جمعاً دو شهر با روستاهای اطراف. |
61 In the wildernes were Beth-arabah, Middin, and Secacah,
| شهرهایی که در بیابان واقع شده بودند و عبارت بودند از: بیت‌عربه، مدین، سکاکه، |
62 And Nibshan, and the citie of salt, and Engedi: sixe cities with their villages.
| نبشان، شهر نمک و عین جُدی، جمعاً شش شهر با روستاهای اطراف. |
63 Neuerthelesse, the Iebusites that were the inhabitants of Ierusalem, could not the children of Iudah cast out, but the Iebusites dwell with the children of Iudah at Ierusalem vnto this day.
| اما مردم قبیلهٔ یهودا نتوانستند یبوسی‌ها را که در اورشلیم زندگی می‌کردند بیرون کنند. پس آنها در اورشلیم ماندند و هنوز هم در آنجا هستند و با مردم قبیلهٔ یهودا زندگی می‌کنند. |
