Joshua 12

1 And these are the Kings of the land, which the children of Israel smote and possessed their land, on the other side Iorden toward the rising of the sunne, from the riuer Arnon, vnto mount Hermon, and all the plaine Eastward.

Aisraeli anagonjetsa dziko lonse la kummawa kwa Yorodani, kuyambira ku chigwa cha Arinoni mpaka ku phiri la Herimoni pamodzi ndi dera lonse la kummawa kwa Araba. Iwo anatenga dzikoli kukhala lawo, ndipo mafumu a dzikoli anali awa:

2 Sihon King of the Amorites, that dwelt in Heshbon, hauing dominion from Aroer, which is beside the riuer of Arnon, and from the middle of the riuer, and from halfe Gilead vnto the riuer Iabbok, in the border of the children of Ammon.

Sihoni mfumu ya Aamori, amene ankakhala mu Hesiboni. Iye analamulira kuyambira ku Aroeri mzinda umene uli mʼmphepete mwa mtsinje wa Arinoni, mpaka ku mtsinje wa Yaboki, umene uli mʼmalire mwa Aamori, kuphatikizanso theka la dziko la Giliyadi.

3 And from the plaine vnto the sea of Cinneroth Eastward, and vnto the Sea of the plaine, euen the salt sea Eastward, the way to Beth-ieshimoth, and from the South vnder the springs of Pisgah.

Iye ankalamuliranso dera la chigwa cha Yorodani kuyambira ku Nyanja ya Kinereti, kummawa ndi kumatsika mpaka ku Beti-Yesimoti, mzinda umene unali kummawa kwa Nyanja ya Mchere ndi kutsikabe kummwera mpaka pa tsinde pa phiri la Pisiga.

4 They conquered also the coast of Og King of Bashan of the remnant of the gyants, which dwelt at Ashtaroth, and at Edrei,

Ogi mfumu ya mzinda wa Basani, amene anali mmodzi mwa otsala mwa Arefaimu. Iye ankakhala ku Asiteroti ndi Ederi.

5 And reigned in mount Hermon, and in Salcah, and in all Bashan, vnto the border of the Geshurites, and the Maachathites, and halfe Gilead, euen the border of Sihon King of Heshbon.

Dera la ufumu wake linafika ku phiri la Herimoni, ku Saleka ndi dziko lonse la Basani mpaka ku malire ndi anthu a ku Gesuri Makati. Ufumu wake unaphatikizanso theka la Giliyadi mpaka ku malire a mfumu Sihoni ya ku Hesiboni.

6 Moses the seruant of the Lord, and the children of Israel smote them: Moses also the seruant of the Lord gaue their land for a possession vnto the Reubenites, and vnto the Gadites, and to halfe the tribe of Manasseh.

Mose mtumiki wa Yehova ndi Aisraeli anawagonjetsa ndipo anapereka dziko lawo kwa anthu a fuko la Rubeni, fuko la Gadi ndi theka la fuko la Manase kuti chikhale cholowa chawo.

7 These also are the Kings of the countrey, which Ioshua and the children of Israel smote on this side Iorden, Westward, from Baal-gad in the valley of Lebanon, euen vnto the mount Halak that goeth vp to Seir, and Ioshua gaue it vnto the tribes of Israel for a possession, according to their portions:

Yoswa ndi Aisraeli onse anagonjetsa mafumu onse okhala kumadzulo kwa mtsinje wa Yorodani kuyambira ku Baala-Gadi, ku chigwa cha Lebanoni mpaka ku phiri la Halaki, kumapita cha ku Seiri. Yoswa anagawira dzikolo mafuko a Israeli kuti likhale cholowa chawo.

8 In the mountaines, and in the valleys, and in the plaines, and in the hill sides, and in the wildernes, and in the South, where were the Hittites, the Amorites, and the Canaanites, the Perizzites, the Hiuites, and the Iebusites.

Dziko limeneli linali dera la ku mapiri, chigwa cha kumadzulo, chigwa cha Yorodani, ku matsitso a kummawa, ndi dziko la chipululu la kummwera. Amene ankakhala mʼdzikoli anali Ahiti, Aamori, Akanaani, Aperezi, Ahivi ndi Ayebusi. Mafumu ake anali awa:

12 The King of Eglon, one: the King of Gezer, one:

mfumu ya Egiloni imodzi mfumu ya Gezeri imodzi

13 The King of Debir, one: the King of Geder, one:

mfumu ya Debri imodzi mfumu ya Gederi imodzi

14 The King of Hormah, one: the King of Arad, one:

mfumu ya Horima imodzi mfumu ya Aradi imodzi

15 The King of Libnah, one: the King of Adullam, one:

mfumu ya Libina imodzi mfumu ya Adulamu imodzi

16 The King of Makkedah, one: the King of Beth-el, one:

17 The King of Tappuah, one: the King of Hepher, one:

18 The King of Aphek, one: the King of Lasharon, one:

mfumu ya Afeki imodzi mfumu ya Lasaroni imodzi

19 The King of Madon, one: the King of Hazor, one:

mfumu ya Madoni imodzi mfumu ya Hazori imodzi

20 The king of Shimron-meron, one: the King of Achshaph, one:

mfumu ya Simuroni Meroni imodzi mfumu ya Akisafu imodzi

21 The King of Taanach, one: the King of Megiddo, one:

mfumu ya Taanaki imodzi mfumu ya Megido imodzi

22 The King of Kedesh, one: the King of Iokneam of Carmel, one:

23 The King of Dor, in the countrey of Dor, one: the King of the nations of Gilgal, one:
